Realign Our Hearts and Minds | Guided Prayers
Publisher transcript
Transcript
-
Today, as we pause our day to realign our heart and mind with God through prayer, take a few deep breaths and wait a moment.
-
Let the silence separate the busyness of the day with the connection we are making with God through this time of prayer.
-
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of hope.
-
But God does deep work in waiting seasons, building faith, character, and trust.
-
Hope grows roots in the soil of patience.
-
Paul writes this about waiting and hope in Romans.
-
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
-
Let's begin by thanking God for his patience toward you and for his faithfulness that never wavers while you wait.
-
Are you waiting for something today?
-
Healing, direction, restoration, answers, a relationship, a job, a dream.
-
Tell the Lord about it and ask Him to strengthen your hope as you wait.
-
Ask that God would renew their strength and refresh their hope.
-
You are where our hope is anchored.
-
You are where our hope is restored.
-
Keep our hope from dimming in seasons of waiting or frustration or confusion.
-
Teach us to trust your timing and to rest in your perfect faithfulness.
-
Amen.
