Transcript
-
As we pause to pray today, close your eyes if you can and listen to the word of the Lord.
-
See, I am doing a new thing.
-
Now it springs up.
-
Do you not perceive it?
-
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
-
Again, see, I am doing a new thing.
-
Now it springs up.
-
Do you not perceive it?
-
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
-
Sometimes God's new thing begins in the most unexpected places.
-
Even in dry seasons, his spirit is bringing up something fresh and alive.
-
He's the God of surprising renewal.
-
Say out loud with me, God.
-
Thank you that you are doing something new.
-
Even in places that feel barren or hopeless.
-
Ask the Lord to help you see what He's doing beneath the surface.
-
Pray for spiritual eyes to perceive His work in your life.
-
Take the next few moments and tell God where you need Him to reset or restart or do something new in your own life.
-
Now, ask God where He might be doing something new that you have not perceived yet.
-
Sit in the silence, waiting on His revelation and His presence.
-
Listen for Him in your heart and mind.
-
God, where are you doing something new?
-
Show us so we can align with what you are doing.
-
Thank you for making a way where there seemed to be none.
-
We trust your timing and your process.
-
Amen.
