-
Have you ever felt sucked into a spiral of anxiety or worry?
-
A few minutes passed, and you don't even realize the catastrophizing you were doing for who knows how long, trying to predict and then control the future.
-
Anxiety often makes us feel alone or unseen.
-
But God sees every thought, every fear, every detail, and he stays closed.
-
David, who said in earnest, you have searched me, O Lord, and you know me.
-
You are familiar with all my ways.
-
Let's take 30 seconds and thank God that He sees you fully and compassionately, nothing hidden, nothing ignored.
-
Ask Him to make His nearness tangible to you today.
-
Imagine God sitting beside you, placing His hand on your shoulder, whispering, I see you.
-
Can you think of someone who might feel unseen or isolated in your community?
-
Maybe a specific person comes to mind.
-
If not, pray for someone in your church community you might silently feel this way.
-
Ask God to reveal his nearness to them.
-
We rest in your nearness today.
-
Amen.
