Receiving God's Gifts | Guided Prayers

Thank you for joining us today as we take a few moments to shift our focus and dwell on Jesus.

What is the best gift that you have ever received?

What emotions did it bring?

Try and envision that moment and allow those feelings to come with it.

The Bible declares that God is the best gift giver.

Imagine how much more He has for you than even that fond memory.

Everything good in our lives flows from the heart of a good father.

His generosity is constant and his character never changes.

James 1.17 reminds us, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father.

Take a few seconds to thank God for the good gifts in your life, both the ones you notice and the ones you may take for granted.

Maybe a specific person or group of people, a loved one or an acquaintance.

Pray for someone in need of God's provision today.

Ask Him to bless them generously.

We receive them with grateful hearts.
