God's Mercy Is Walking With You | Guided Prayers

God is a loving God.

He is a merciful God.

He is a present God.

The Bible says He is a good shepherd.

Think about the role of a shepherd for a moment.

In order for a shepherd to be good, he must be present.

Today we are going to lean into this truth.

The God who created the cosmos is also our ever-present shepherd.

God's goodness doesn't chase us for a moment.

It follows us all of our days.

It carries constant, its presence sure.

Remind yourself of this today.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.

Thank God that his goodness follows you into every place, every season, every moment.

Now, ask God to help you notice his goodness at work today, in big ways and even small ones.

Practice putting away any distracting thoughts so you can truly focus on the good things he has done.

Even if you feel like there aren't many in this season, remember it is just a seasonal.

Embrace the peace that comes with it.

Ask God to remind them that His goodness surrounds them.
