Growing In Humility | Guided Prayers

Today, we're going to read a passage of scripture that speaks to how we can grow in our understanding of humility.

And it's based on Jesus' perfect example set for us.

Philippians 2, 5 through 8 says, in your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage.

Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.

Anyone looking to grow in humility can find a beautiful example in this passage of how Jesus lived out humility.

Take a moment to thank Jesus for the humility he demonstrated.

Praise him that although he had all authority, he chose the posture of a servant.
