Discovering The Good In Our Trials | Guided Prayers

Wherever you are at, try and find a quiet place to listen to what God is saying today.

Breathe in.

And then out.

Do it again.

Clear your mind and focus on the person of Jesus.

This truth is for you today.

We all face hard circumstances.

Nobody is immune.

We participate and live in a fallen world.

Today we are going to remind ourselves that even in difficulty, God's goodness is at work.

He weaves redemption into every circumstance, turning pain into purpose.

If you can, take a moment to commit this scripture to memory.

Romans 8 28 says, in all things, God works for the good of those who love him.

Thank God that he is working for your good, even when the outcome isn't yet clear.

Repeat this after me.

God, thank you that you are working on my behalf.

Today I choose to trust you.

Take a moment to speak to God.

Tell him about a hard situation in your life.

Ask him to bring good from it in his time.

He is not afraid of your words, so do not hold anything back.

Repeat that prayer with me.

Lord, thank you for working all things for good.

I trust your redemptive ability.
