Healing The Lost | Guided Prayers

The beauty of God's plan for salvation is that it extends to everyone who calls on his name to be saved.

He has made a way for all nations, all people, to share a relationship with God.

And not only that, but he desires for everyone to know this freedom.

Today we're focusing our prayer on those who are lost, those who do not yet know the life and freedom from God.

Luke 15, 4 through 7 will help ground us in this time of prayer.

It says, Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.

Doesn't he leave the 99 in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?

And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home.

Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me.

I have found my lost sheep.

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Take a moment to thank God for the way he pursues people with his love.
