He Will Sustain Us | Guided Prayers

It's so comforting to know that God is not only present with us in our brokenness, but he also restores and heals what is broken.

Psalm 147, 2 through 6 speaks to the redeeming power of God.

It says, The Lord built up Jerusalem, he gathers the exiles of Israel.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

Great is our Lord and mighty in power.

His understanding has no limit.

The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.

From that passage alone, we can trust that God builds up, He gathers, He heals, He binds up wounds, He calls us by name, and He sustains the humble.

Today, as we begin a time of prayer, let's praise God for who He is and what He does.

Find one quality that stood out to you from Psalm 147.
