-
In the broken and fallen state of our world, it doesn't take too long to look around and see injustice.
-
We mourn for the ways this world is not operating on earth as it is in heaven.
-
And we bring these injustices to God.
-
And in Micah 6.8, we read about three things the Lord requires of his people.
-
To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with him.
-
Micah 6.8 says, Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what the Lord requires of you.
-
To act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.
-
When you stun injustice, what is your first instinct?
-
Today we are going to pray that God would help us walk humbly with Him.
-
So we can act justly and love faithfulness.
-
Take a moment to thank God that He is just and righteous.
-
Praise Him that He sees every injustice, even the ones that go unnoticed by the world.
-
Do you respond with anger, apathy, pride, fear?
-
Bring that honestly before him.
-
Ask him to form humility in you for a heart that walks closely with him before reacting.
-
Shape my heart to reflect yours.
-
Amen.
