-
There are moments in life we wished we could undo, words we wished we hadn't spoken, choices we wished we hadn't made.
-
Shame has a way of replaying those memories and trying to convince us it's who we are.
-
But listen to what the Bible tells us.
-
Ephesians 1, verse 7 says, In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
-
Redemption means something has been paid for.
-
It means the debt is covered.
-
It means the past does not have the final word.
-
Through Jesus, you are not defined by your worst moment.
-
You are defined by his grace.
-
Take a moment to thank Jesus for the high price he paid to redeem you.
-
Thank him that his grace is richer than your regret.
-
Ask that they would encounter the freeing power of Christ's forgiveness.
-
Amen.
