When Sharing Your Faith Is Intimidating | Guided Prayers

Sharing your faith can sometimes feel intimidating.

You may worry about saying the wrong thing or wonder how someone may respond.

But the early followers of Jesus face the same tension.

In Acts 4, the believers prayed together after facing opposition.

Instead of asking for safety or comfort, they asked God for something different.

Acts 4.29 says, Now Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.

Notice what they asked for.

Courage to keep sharing the message of Jesus.

Not necessarily easier circumstances, but boldness.

Today we are going to ask God to give us that same boldness.

Take a moment to quiet your heart and remember that God is with you.

Give me courage to speak about you.

Use my life to point others to Christ.
