-
Today, let's begin by noticing the pace of your heart.
-
Is it hurried?
-
Waiting?
-
Frustrated?
-
Sometimes the hardest place to be is after you've prayed, but before you've seen movement.
-
Take a slow breath and think about a season of waiting you're experiencing now.
-
Ecclesiastes 3 11 says, He has made everything beautiful in its time.
-
He has also set eternity in the human heart.
-
Yet no one can fathom what God has done from the beginning to end.
-
God sees the beginning and the end and everything in between.
-
We often want clarity now, but God is shaping something in the waiting.
-
Resting in his timing means resting, that he is not late.
-
He is intentional.
-
Take the next thirty seconds to reflect on God's complete control over the timing of circumstances in your life.
-
Bring those feelings honestly to him.
-
Ask him to help you trust that he makes everything beautiful in its time.
-
Repeat this truth as you praise Him.
-
You make everything beautiful in its time.
-
Your timing is good.
-
I trust you in the waiting.
-
Amen.
