-
It's natural to want certain outcomes, whether it's a specific decision, relationship, or prayer in your life.
-
We all carry a desire for things to turn out a specific way.
-
Think about an outcome in your life you've been holding tightly.
-
Romans 11, verse 33 says, Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God, how unsearchable his judgments and untraceable his ways?
-
God sees what you cannot see.
-
His wisdom runs deeper than your understanding.
-
So when you surrender an outcome to God, it does not mean you stop caring.
-
It means you trust the one who knows more than you do.
-
Which part of Romans 11, 33 makes you feel gratitude to God?
-
Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God.
-
How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways are not going to be a good idea.
-
Bring that tension to Him.
-
Ask Him to help you trust His wisdom more than your expectations.
-
Amen.
