You Are Forgiven And Cleansed | Guided Prayers

Have you ever experienced moments when you became aware of the ways you've fallen short?

Words spoken too quickly, thoughts that weren't pure, attitudes that didn't reflect Christ.

Sin can create distance in our hearts, not because God moves away, but because we do.

But Scripture gives us a promise.

1 John chapter 1, verse 9 says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Notice the words faithful and righteous.

God does not forgive reluctantly.

He does not partially cleanse.

He cleanses completely.

Today we come honestly before him, not hiding or pretending, but trusting his promise.

Take a moment to thank God that he is faithful.

Thank him that forgiveness is available because of Jesus.

Don't rush past this moment.

Lord, you are faithful and righteous.

You forgive me completely.

You cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

I am forgiven and made clean.
