-
There are moments when you don't have the answers, the energy, or the clarity to move forward.
-
In those moments, Jesus doesn't stand at a distance.
-
He steps in as your helper.
-
His presence is not passive, it is active, attentive, and near.
-
You are not left to figure things out on your own.
-
Take a deep breath and listen to the Bible.
-
It says God is our refuge and our strength and an ever-present help in trouble.
-
Psalm 46, 1.
-
Let's take 20 seconds to thank Jesus that he is present and available to help you right now.
-
Reflect on how he has helped you in the past.
-
Now, tell Jesus where you need help today.
-
Specifically and honestly, I want you to invite him into the details, not just the big picture.
-
Ask God to guide you, to strengthen you, and to support you in the areas where you feel limited.
-
Let him know you are choosing to depend on him rather than carry it alone.
-
Exhale.
-
Close your eyes and take a moment to acknowledge that He is with you.
-
Let your shoulders relax as you release the pressure to handle everything yourself.
-
Say it again in your mind: Jesus is with me.
-
Pause for a moment to pray for someone who needs help in a difficult situation.
-
Lord, thank you for being our ever present help.
-
God, we rely on you today and thank you for your presence.
-
Amen.
