He is gracious, He is kind, He is joy, He is peace, and He is compassion.

2 Corinthians 1, through through 4 refers to Him as the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.

As your Father, He comforts you in your pain, not from a distance, but up close.
-
He meets you in sorrow with compassion and care.

You are not expected to carry grief alone.

Now pause and thank God for his compassion and comfort in your life.
-
Think on times he has met you in the pain.
-
Take a minute to tell God where you need comfort right now.
-
Be honest about your pain, grief, or disappointment.
-
Ask him to meet you with his presence and bring peace to your heart.
-
Let him hold you steady through this season.
-
Do you know someone who is hurting?
-

-
Amen.
