Ephesians 4, verse 32 is a good reminder for us as we start our day together.
-
Be kind and compassionate to one another.
-
Kindness is not weakness, it is strength expressed through love.
-
In a world that often responds quickly and harshly, God invites you into a different posture.
-
His kindness toward you becomes the model for how you treat others.
-
Today is an opportunity to slow down, soften your heart, and reflect on him.
-
Take a moment to thank God for his kindness he has shown you again and again.
-
Reflect on how patient and gentle God has been with you.
-
For the next 60 seconds, ask God to make you aware of how you respond to people today.
-
Tell them where you've been short, rushed, or distracted in your interactions.
-
Invite God to shape your words, your tones, and your reactions to reflect His kindness.
-
Ask Him to help you choose gentleness even when it requires intentional effort.
-
Let your heart soften as you prepare to respond with kindness.
-
Help us reflect it in every interaction.
-
Amen.
