  1. Find a quiet place to talk to God today.

  2. Maybe you are in your favorite chair.

  3. Maybe you are outdoors on a walk.

  4. Maybe you have your headphones on in your office cubicle with your eyes closed.

  5. God sees you, and God wants to talk to you today.

  6. Isaiah 1.19 says, if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.

  7. Obedience begins long before in action.

  8. It begins in the heart.

  9. God is not simply looking for compliance.

  10. He desires willing hearts that trust him.

  11. A surrendered heart becomes fertile ground for God's work in your lives.

  12. Can we start today by telling God how much we love him?

  13. Give yourself thirty seconds to worship God.

  14. As you sit quietly with the Lord, ask him to reveal any areas where resistance has settled into your heart.

  15. Maybe there are places where disappointment, fear, or pride have made obedience difficult.

  16. Take thirty seconds to ask God and search your own heart.

  17. Now invite him to soften those places.

  18. Ask God to create a willing heart that trusts his wisdom and his goodness.

  19. Allow God into your process or hesitation, but then talk to him.

  20. He can handle your angst, your frustrations, or even your worry.

  21. Talk through the situation in your heart all the way through to the landing places of trust.

  22. We want to follow you willingly.

  23. Amen.
