  1. What has captured my attention is not Hollywood

  2. alone, but short form entertainment movies, reels,

  3. clips, and stories spread across Facebook and

  4. social media. These formats attract millions,

  5. not merely to entertain, but to shape thinking,

  6. normalize behavior, and influence desire. This

  7. influence is not neutral. For the enemy, it is

  8. one of the most effective weapons, not through

  9. open rebellion. But through innocent consumption,

  10. Christians rarely sit down intending to sin.

  11. They sit down intending to relax, distract, or

  12. escape. And that is where the seed is planted.

  13. The devil rarely begins with action. He begins

  14. with imagination. What is repeatedly watched

  15. becomes mentally rehearsed. What is mentally

  16. rehearsed becomes emotionally acceptable. What

  17. becomes acceptable eventually becomes actionable.

  18. Many people say, I never thought I would do this,

  19. but the truth is they thought about it long before

  20. they did it. When trouble enters a marriage,

  21. a couple, or someone's life, the mind does not

  22. invent new ideas. It reaches for stored images,

  23. learned scripts, and normalized behaviors already

  24. planted through media. Sen is not ugly at the

  25. door. It is designed to taste good at the moment

  26. of trial. It appeals to carnal desire emotional

  27. relief instant, satisfaction like a perfectly

  28. crafted burger for someone living with diabetes,

  29. or obesity. It tastes good, but it destroys silently.

  30. The enemy does not care how sweet it feels today

  31. as long as it corrupts tomorrow. Through cinema

  32. and media, Non -biblical norms are planted, ungodly

  33. lifestyles are romanticized. Sin is defended

  34. as freedom. Conviction is mocked as judgment.

  35. The tragedy is this. Christians begin defending

  36. what scripture condemns. Not because they studied

  37. the word, but because they absorb the screen.

  38. Media disciples faster than pulpits when believers

  39. stop guarding their eyes. There is a lie many

  40. believe. It is not what comes in that destroys

  41. you. But Jesus was clear. What comes out of a

  42. person reveals what was first allowed in. You

  43. cannot sow rebellion and reap obedience. You

  44. cannot sow distraction and reap discernment.

  45. The real issue is not Hollywood. It is discernment.

  46. You choose what you let in, and what you let

  47. in will shape. Your thoughts, your reactions,

  48. your values, your decisions, eventually it will

  49. shape your destiny. Guarding your eyes is not

  50. legalism. It is spiritual survival. Entertainment

  51. is never just entertainment. It is discipleship

  52. in disguise. If you do not intentionally choose

  53. what enters you, something else will choose for

  54. you. And whatever shapes you will eventually

  55. speak through you, lead you, and if unchecked,

  56. destroy you. That is why when opportunity comes,

  57. sin feels familiar rather than shocking.
