  1. The enemy's greatest target, marriage. Welcome

  2. to Pomoja Podcast, a ministry of Live of Christ

  3. International. Pomoja means together, and that's

  4. what this space is all about. Walking together

  5. in faith, growing together through the Word,

  6. and living the life of Christ in our homes, our

  7. marriages, and our daily lives. I'm your host,

  8. Barry Mwamba, and in this first season, we're

  9. talking about something the enemy fears the most,

  10. marriage. My wife and I have been married for

  11. 18 years, and before that, we dated for five.

  12. We're both Christians, born again and filled

  13. with the Holy Spirit. Today, by God's grace,

  14. we have a beautiful family, a deep friendship,

  15. and a love that continues to grow. But getting

  16. here wasn't easy. We walked through storms, real

  17. storms, moments we weren't sure we'd make it.

  18. There were nights we thought love was gone, times

  19. we ignored each other's hearts, separated bills,

  20. called lawyers, and even started planning to

  21. live apart. We believed we had lost our first

  22. love, but God, in his mercy, stepped in. He reminded

  23. us who joined us together in the first place.

  24. He showed us that marriage isn't built on emotion,

  25. or understanding, or intelligence, it's built

  26. on him. I chose to begin this series with marriage

  27. because I've learned something powerful. The

  28. devil's biggest mission is to destroy marriage.

  29. Because when marriage falls, the church weakens

  30. and society follows. He knows that strong marriages

  31. build strong families, and strong families build

  32. strong communities. So he attacks the foundation,

  33. the covenant God designed to reflect his love.

  34. But through the years, I've learned that a lasting

  35. marriage isn't built on beauty, intelligence,

  36. or even emotion. It stands on God and on two

  37. hearts that refuse to let go of Him or of each

  38. other. When storms come, when understanding fails,

  39. when love feels tested, remember, your strength

  40. is not in what you know. but in who holds you

  41. together. Your only true support is God and your

  42. spouse, your partner in the covenant of grace.

  43. That's how marriages endure. That's how families

  44. thrive. That's how the church stays strong. If

  45. the enemy attacks what God built, then we must

  46. defend it with prayer, grace, and love. Your

  47. marriage is not just about happiness. It's about

  48. holiness. Pray together. Forgive quickly. Stand

  49. united when it's hardest to stand at all. Because

  50. when your home is strong, your faith stands firm.

  51. That's how marriages endure. That's how families

  52. thrive. That's how the church stays strong. Thank
