In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I come before
-
you today, believing that you are still God.
-
You are God over what I understand. You are God
-
over what I do not understand. You are God over
-
what is moving. You are God over what appears
-
stuck. You are God over what I can change. And
-
you remain God over everything beyond my control.
-
Therefore, I declare that my present circumstances
-
are not sovereign. God is sovereign. What I see
-
does not have the final word. What I hear does
-
not have the final word. What people have decided
-
does not have the final word. What circumstances
-
are predicting does not have the final word.
-
God has the final word. And therefore, today
-
I stand upon two words, but God. When everything
-
says it is impossible but God When the situation
-
appears finished but God when every natural door
-
appears closed but God When I cannot understand
-
how anything could change but God When human
-
strength has reached its limit but God When I
-
have done everything I know to do but God I declare
-
that as long as God remains God The story can
-
still change. Father, where something needs to
-
turn according to your will, turn it. Where something
-
needs to move, move it. Where something needs
-
to break, break it. Where something needs to
-
open, open it. Where something needs to close,
-
close it. Where truth needs to come into the
-
light, bring it into the light. Where confusion
-
has taken over. Bring clarity. Where disorder
-
has entered, establish your order. Where discouragement
-
has settled, restore hope. Where fear has been
-
speaking, let faith rise again. Where tears have
-
been planted. Father, in your time, bring a harvest
-
of joy. I declare that what looks like defeat
-
today does not have the authority to announce
-
my tomorrow. My current chapter is not my entire
-
story. My present struggle is not my identity.
-
My disappointment is not my destiny. My delay
-
is not automatically denial. My midnight is not
-
proof that mourning has been canceled. And what
-
appears buried is not beyond the resurrection
-
power of Jesus Christ. Therefore, I will believe
-
again. I will pray again. I will worship again.
-
I will expect again. I will rise again. I will
-
dream again. I will move forward again. Because
-
I refuse to allow one difficult chapter to convince
-
me that God has finished writing. I surrender
-
every outcome into your hands. I refuse to manipulate
-
what I have already placed before you. I refuse
-
to force doors you have not opened. I refuse
-
to chase what you are asking me to release. I
-
refuse to become consumed with proving myself.
-
I refuse to allow revenge to enter my heart.
-
I refuse to become bitter because someone misunderstood
-
me. I refuse to fight spiritual battles with
-
weapons of the flesh. You are my defender. You
-
are my vindicator. You are my refuge. You are
-
my god. So where I need to speak, give me wisdom
-
to speak. Where I need to act, give me courage
-
to act, where I need to wait, give me strength
-
to wait, where I need to walk away, give me grace
-
to release, and where I have done everything
-
you required of me. Teach me how to stand still
-
without becoming afraid, because I do not have
-
to manufacture the reversal. God knows how to
-
turn what needs to turn. Therefore, I declare.
-
What was intended to discourage me will not steal
-
my faith. What was intended to silence me will
-
not steal my worship. What was intended to make
-
me bitter will not poison my heart. What was
-
intended to make me quit will not determine my
-
future. What was intended to convince me that
-
God had abandoned me will become another reason
-
for me to testify he never left me. I declare
-
that evil intentions do not possess sovereign
-
authority over my destiny. Human plans are not
-
greater than divine purpose. Opposition is not
-
greater than divine authority. Closed doors are
-
not greater than divine wisdom. And no circumstance
-
is powerful enough to remove Almighty God from
-
His throne. So I will not magnify the battle
-
above my God. I will not magnify the problem
-
above my God. I will not magnify the opposition
-
above my God. I will not magnify what people
-
said above what God has spoken. My God is greater.
-
My God is faithful. My God is sovereign. My God
-
is able. And my God is still writing. Turn mourning
-
into dancing according to your will. Turn confusion
-
into clarity. Turn fear into faith. Turn weakness
-
into dependence upon you. Turn wounds into wisdom.
-
Turn tears into testimony Turn closed chapters
-
into lessons Turn wilderness seasons into preparation
-
Turn what tried to pull me away from you Into
-
something that drives me deeper into your presence
-
And if the situation itself does not change immediately
-
Change me while I am inside it Make my faith
-
stronger Make my prayer deeper Make my discernment
-
sharper Make my heart softer. Make my dependence
-
upon you greater. Make my worship more sincere.
-
Make Jesus greater in me than he was before the
-
battle began. Because divine reversal is not
-
only about changing what is around me. Sometimes
-
the greatest reversal happens inside me. I entered
-
afraid, but I will come out trusting. I entered
-
wounded, but I will come out healed. I entered
-
depending upon myself, but I will come out depending
-
upon God. I entered asking, why me? But I will
-
come out declaring, God was with me. And today,
-
I release yesterday. I will not spend tomorrow
-
trying to recreate yesterday. If you restore
-
what was lost, Father, I will thank you. If you
-
open something new, I will follow you. If you
-
close a chapter permanently, I will trust you.
-
If your reversal looks different from what I
-
imagined, I will still trust you. Because I do
-
not need you to return me to where I was. I need
-
you to take me where you are going. So I declare,
-
yesterday will not control tomorrow. Past failure
-
will not control tomorrow. Past rejection will
-
not control tomorrow. Past disappointment will
-
not control tomorrow. Past betrayal will not
-
control tomorrow. Past mistakes will not control
-
tomorrow. Past fear will not control tomorrow.
-
Jesus Christ is Lord over my tomorrow. And therefore,
-
I speak over every place in my life where hopelessness
-
has whispered, it is over. No, God has the final
-
word. Where fear says, nothing can change. I
-
answer, Where disappointment says, stop expecting.
-
I answer, but God. Where circumstances say, there
-
is no way. I answer, but God. Where my own understanding
-
says, I cannot see how. I answer, I do not need
-
to know how. I know who and where the enemy tries
-
to use yesterday as evidence against tomorrow.
-
I declare, God is still writing. I declare that
-
my tears will not be wasted, my prayers will
-
not be wasted, my waiting will not be wasted,
-
my obedience will not be wasted, my faithfulness
-
will not be wasted, my wilderness will not be
-
wasted, my midnight will not be wasted, and even
-
the things I cannot understand today I surrender
-
into the hands of the God who redeems. Father,
-
Redeem what can be redeemed. Restore what you
-
desire to restore. Remove what must be removed.
-
Expose what must be exposed. Heal what must be
-
healed. Close what must remain closed. Open what
-
no man can shut. And lead me forward, not backward,
-
forward, into your purpose, into your will, into
-
greater faith, into deeper prayer, into stronger
-
obedience, into greater intimacy with Jesus Christ.
-
And I declare today the battle can change. The
-
direction can change. The atmosphere can change.
-
The door can open. The answer can come. The tears
-
can become songs. The prisoner can become free.
-
The broken can become restored. The discouraged
-
can rise again. The weary can receive strength
-
again. The one who almost stopped believing can
-
believe again. Because my hope is not in circumstances
-
changing. My hope is in the God who never changes.
-
And even if I am standing in Friday, Sunday still
-
belongs to God. Even if I am walking through
-
midnight, morning still belongs to God. Even
-
if I cannot see the road, the road still belongs
-
to God. Even if I cannot understand the chapter,
-
the book still belongs to God. and even when
-
I cannot see his hand, I will trust his heart.
-
Therefore, I will not write the ending. I will
-
not bury my expectation. I will not surrender
-
my worship. I will not allow fear to become my
-
prophet. I will not put a period where God may
-
have placed a comma. I will keep believing because
-
there may still be a but God waiting in my next
-
chapter. So today I declare, my story belongs
-
to God. My future belongs to God. My family belongs
-
to God. My purpose belongs to God. My calling
-
belongs to God. My unanswered questions belong
-
to God. My victories belong to God. And even
-
my battles, I place them in the hands of God.
-
Turn what you desire to turn. Stop what you desire
-
to stop. Move what you desire to move. and change
-
in me whatever must change. I surrender, I trust,
-
I believe, I expect, and I worship, because you
-
were God before the battle. You are God in the
-
battle, and you will still be God after the battle.
-
Therefore, I declare, the enemy may have an intention,
-
but God, circumstances may have a prediction,
-
but God, people may have their plans, but God.
-
The situation may look finished, but God, and
-
as long as God is still God, the story can still
-
change. I declare it. I believe it. I receive
-
it by faith, in the mighty, sovereign, victorious
-
resurrection name of Jesus Christ. Amen, amen,
-
and amen. Hallelujah.
