-
If you have been praying for God to change something,
-
but the situation is still there, this prayer
-
is for you. Maybe you believe God can move it,
-
but right now, it hasn't moved. And perhaps the
-
hardest part is not believing that God is able.
-
The hardest part is finding enough strength to
-
keep standing while you wait for him to act.
-
If that is where you are today, I will pray with
-
you. Let's pray. God, you see what I am facing.
-
You know how long I have carried this. the prayers
-
I have prayed. You know the nights I have cried.
-
You know how many times I have wondered how much
-
longer. God, I still believe you can change this.
-
I still believe you can open the door. I still
-
believe you can make a way. I still believe you
-
can intervene, but until you do, strengthen me.
-
Therefore, I declare, I will not collapse while
-
I am waiting. I will not allow this battle to
-
consume my mind. I will not allow fear to steal
-
my peace. I will not allow disappointment to
-
destroy my faith. I will not allow what has not
-
changed around me to change what I believe about
-
you. God strengthen my heart, strengthen my mind,
-
strengthen my faith, strengthen me where nobody
-
else can see that I am tired. When I wake up
-
exhausted, give me strength for another day.
-
When my thoughts begin racing, give me peace.
-
when discouragement whispers that nothing will
-
ever change. Remind me that what I see today
-
does not determine what you can do tomorrow.
-
God, help me while I wait for you to move it.
-
If I need wisdom, give me wisdom. If I need patience,
-
give me patience. If I need courage, give me
-
courage. If I need to remain still, teach me
-
to be still. If I need to take a step, show me
-
where to step. But do not allow this season to
-
separate me from you. Let the pressure push me
-
closer. Let the waiting deepen my trust. Let
-
the uncertainty teach me dependence. And when
-
I cannot understand what you are doing, help
-
me trust who you are. I declare that my waiting
-
will not become my breaking point. My unanswered
-
prayer will not become the grave of my faith.
-
My delay will not convince me that I have been
-
forgotten. God is still with me. God is still
-
sustaining me. God is still helping me. And even
-
when I cannot see movement, I will keep believing.
-
So God, if you move the situation today, I will
-
praise you. If I must wait another day, give
-
me grace for another day. I don't need tomorrow's
-
strength today. Give me what I need for this
-
moment. Help me stand. Help me breathe. Help
-
me pray. Help me believe. And until the thing
-
I cannot move begins to move, God strengthen
-
me while I wait. in the mighty and victorious
-
name of Jesus Christ. Amen. If you are walking
