  1. Psalm 100 in 1967 declares, before I was afflicted,

  2. I went astray, but now I obey your word. Today,

  3. Lord, I surrender my season to you, the place

  4. where I am, the circumstances surrounding me,

  5. the doors that have opened, the doors that have

  6. closed, the things that have changed, and the

  7. discomfort I do not completely understand. God.

  8. I do not want to run simply because something

  9. has become difficult, but I also do not want

  10. fear, familiarity, or comfort to keep me somewhere

  11. when you are calling me forward. Give me discernment.

  12. If you are telling me to stay, give me strength

  13. to stay. If you are telling me to wait, give

  14. me patience to wait. If you are telling me to

  15. return, give me humility to return. And if you

  16. are telling me to move, give me courage to move.

  17. God, teach me the difference between a difficult

  18. season I must endure and a completed season I

  19. must release. Do not allow temporary discomfort

  20. to make me abandon an assignment you are still

  21. developing. But do not allow temporary comfort

  22. to make me remain where your purpose is calling

  23. me to leave. Holy Spirit. direct my steps. God,

  24. Israel entered Egypt because Egypt was once a

  25. place of preservation, but Egypt was never the

  26. promise. So help me understand that something

  27. can have been right for yesterday without being

  28. right for tomorrow. Teach me to be grateful for

  29. what a place has given me without becoming imprisoned

  30. by familiarity. If a season has completed its

  31. assignment, Give me grace to release it. If a

  32. door has closed because you are redirecting me,

  33. keep me from continually trying to reopen it.

  34. If something that once fit no longer fits because

  35. you are developing something new within me, help

  36. me recognize the change. And if I am trying to

  37. leave before I have learned what this season

  38. came to teach me, slow me down. Do not let me

  39. escape the classroom before the lesson is complete

  40. Lord sometimes I ask you get me out of this But

  41. perhaps you are saying let me first get something

  42. out of you So refine me here if there is pride

  43. in me remove it if there is impatience in me

  44. Discipline it if there is fear in me strengthen

  45. my faith if I depend too much upon people's approval

  46. Bring me back to you. If my priorities have become

  47. confused, reorder them. If comfort has weakened

  48. my prayer life, awaken me again. If I have wandered,

  49. bring me back into obedience. Your word says,

  50. before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now

  51. I obey your word. So God, do not allow my difficult

  52. season to be wasted. If this season makes me

  53. pray again, let me pray. If it makes me seek

  54. you again, let me seek you. If it makes me reconsider

  55. my priorities, reorder my life. If it exposes

  56. something that needs to change, change me. If

  57. it teaches me something I will need in my next

  58. assignment, teach me completely. God, protect

  59. me from looking backward when you are calling

  60. me forward. I refuse to return to familiar bondage

  61. simply because unfamiliar freedom requires faith

  62. i refuse to worship comfort i refuse to worship

  63. familiarity i refuse to make security more important

  64. than obedience my security is in you my future

  65. is in you my purpose is in you therefore i declare

  66. i will not miss my next season because i am afraid

  67. to release the last one i will not move before

  68. god i will not remain behind god I will move

  69. with God. I declare that every temporary place

  70. will produce what God intends to develop in me.

  71. The pit will not be wasted. The waiting will

  72. not be wasted. The wilderness will not be wasted.

  73. The uncomfortable season will not be wasted.

  74. I will learn what I need to learn. I will surrender

  75. what I need to surrender. I will release what

  76. I need to release. And when God says move, I

  77. will move. God, order my steps. Sharpen my discernment.

  78. Quiet the voice of fear. Break unhealthy attachment

  79. to yesterday. Give me wisdom for today and prepare

  80. me for tomorrow. If the place is temporary, teach

  81. me there. If the season is difficult, refine

  82. me there. If the door is closing, direct me.

  83. If the road is opening, lead me. I declare. I

  84. will not confuse my current location with the

  85. conclusion of my story. God is still writing.

  86. God is still directing. God is still preparing.

  87. God is still repositioning. And whether he tells

  88. me to stay, wait, return, or move, I choose obedience

  89. over comfort. I am learning. I am moving. I am

  90. becoming. I am being refined for a purpose. In

  91. the name of Jesus Christ. Amen You are not alone.
