-
The house of prayer. The fervent prayer of a
-
righteous. God, show me the crack. A prayer for
-
divine warning, conviction, and restoration.
-
This prayer is for you, if you sense that God
-
has been trying to get your attention. Maybe
-
there is something in your life that doesn't
-
feel right anymore. A boundary has slowly moved.
-
An attitude has changed. A habit is becoming
-
stronger. A relationship is becoming unhealthy.
-
Your anger is becoming harder to control. Your
-
prayer life is becoming weaker. Something you
-
once resisted, you are beginning to entertain.
-
Something that once convicted you doesn't seem
-
to bother you anymore. Or maybe nothing has happened
-
yet. But deep inside, you know something is changing.
-
This prayer is not about condemnation. It is
-
about asking God for the mercy to see the crack
-
before the collapse. Psalm 139 23 -24 says, not
-
my spouse, not my friend, not my co -worker,
-
not the person whose failure everybody is discussing.
-
Search me, search my heart, search my motives,
-
search my thoughts, search my desires, search
-
my relationships, search my habits, search my
-
conversations, search my private life, search
-
the places nobody sees, and God, show me the
-
crack. Show me what I have been ignoring Show
-
me what I have been excusing Show me what I have
-
been justifying Show me what I have been hiding
-
Show me where my boundaries have moved Show me
-
where bitterness has entered Show me where pride
-
has taken root Show me where temptation has become
-
entertainment Show me where frustration is changing
-
my character Show me where disappointment is
-
weakening my faith. Show me where exhaustion
-
is lowering my defenses. And if there is something
-
I have become comfortable with that your spirit
-
has been warning me about, make me uncomfortable
-
again. Restore my sensitivity to your voice.
-
God, don't allow me to normalize what you are
-
trying to remove. Don't allow me to defend what
-
you are trying to correct. Don't allow me to
-
rename compromise because I don't want to confront
-
it. Don't allow me to say everybody does it when
-
your spirit is telling me this does not belong
-
in you. God catch the little foxes before they
-
destroy the vineyard. Catch the small compromises.
-
Catch the secret resentment. Catch the unhealthy
-
attachment. Catch the careless conversation.
-
Catch the uncontrolled anger. Catch the hidden
-
pride. Catch the neglected prayer life. Catch
-
the boundary that keeps moving. Catch the habit
-
that keeps growing. Catch it before it grows.
-
God, when you warn me, help me listen. When you
-
convict me, help me respond. When you correct
-
me, give me humility. When you send someone to
-
speak truth to me Don't let pride make me reject
-
the messenger because I don't like the message
-
Give me discernment to recognize when a warning
-
is actually mercy God protect me from saying
-
I can handle it. It won't happen to me I know
-
what I'm doing. I can stop whenever I want. It's
-
not that serious Protect me from the arrogance
-
of believing that strength makes me immune to
-
weakness your word says let him that thinketh
-
he standeth take heed lest he fall so God keep
-
me watchful keep me humble keep me accountable
-
keep me prayerful keep me close to your word
-
keep me sensitive to the Holy Spirit and when
-
I am tired teach me to rest before exhaustion
-
becomes vulnerability when I am discouraged teach
-
me to seek you before disappointment becomes
-
bitterness. When I am angry, teach me to become
-
quiet before anger becomes destruction. When
-
I am lonely, protect me from seeking comfort
-
in places that can compromise my purpose. When
-
I am hurt, protect me from making permanent decisions
-
from temporary pain. When I feel misunderstood,
-
Keep me from relationships and conversations
-
that offer comfort while quietly pulling me away
-
from you God restore the boundaries. I have moved
-
if I need to walk away Give me courage If I need
-
to stop the conversation Give me discipline If
-
I need to delete something Give me strength If
-
I need to confess something Give me humility
-
if I need accountability Give me courage to ask
-
for help. If I need to apologize, break my pride.
-
If I need to forgive, heal my heart. If I need
-
to return, show me the way home. God, don't let
-
me wait for catastrophe before I obey your warning.
-
I don't wanna wait until everybody sees the collapse
-
before I acknowledge the crack you have already
-
shown me. Protect my marriage, protect my family.
-
Protect my children. Protect my relationships.
-
Protect my ministry. Protect my career. Protect
-
my calling. Protect my testimony. Protect what
-
you have entrusted into my hands. But God, don't
-
only protect these things from people around
-
me. Protect them from anything within me that
-
could destroy them. Protect me from my own pride.
-
uncontrolled desires protect me from careless
-
words protect me from bitterness protect me from
-
secret compromise protect me from spiritual arrogance
-
protect me from becoming a danger to the very
-
things i am asking you to bless and god if you
-
reveal something in me today i will not run from
-
the light i will not defend the crack I will
-
not cover what you want to heal. I will not silence
-
conviction. I will not waste the warning. I choose
-
repentance. I choose obedience. I choose accountability.
-
I choose discipline. I choose truth. I choose
-
restoration. And I declare, the crack will not
-
become my collapse. By your grace, I will listen
-
while there is still time. I will respond while
-
there is still time. I will repair what can be
-
repaired while there is still time. I will restore
-
the boundary while there is still time. I will
-
seek help while there is still time. I will return
-
to you while there is still time. God, let my
-
testimony not be. I wish I had listened. Let
-
my testimony become, God showed me the crack
-
and I listened. Thank you for conviction. Thank
-
you for warning. Thank you for correction. Thank
-
you for people who tell me the truth. Thank you
-
for interruptions that protect my future. Thank
-
you for loving me enough to confront what could
-
eventually destroy me. And if the repair is uncomfortable,
-
give me strength to endure it. Because I would
-
rather experience the discomfort of correction
-
than the the devastation of collapse. Search
-
me God, know my heart, try me, know my thoughts.
-
And if there is anything in me that does not
-
belong in the person you are calling me to become,
-
refine it, remove it, heal it, correct it, restore
-
it, because I understand you are not revealing
-
the crack to humiliate me. You are revealing
-
it because you love me. being discarded. I am
-
not being abandoned. I am being refined. And
-
by your grace, I will not waste the warning in
-
the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. If God is showing
-
you something through this prayer, don't run
-
from his conviction. Bring it into the light.
-
Pray about it. Seek accountability where necessary.
-
Restore the boundary. Make the correction because
-
sometimes God's mercy is not rebuilding everything
-
after the collapse Sometimes his mercy is showing
-
you the crack before the collapse ever happens
-
Always remember you are not alone Pamoja ministry

is your prayer partner
