  1. I will tell you this, not everything that happens in

  2. the world is God's will. God hates the evil, and

  3. a lot of evil's done in the world. And God

  4. could easily take away evil, really, or simple take away

  5. your freedom to do it, and mine too, because you've

  6. done some evil things in life, and so have I.

  7. And he could easily get rid of all suffering by

  8. taking away your choice and my choice and turn us

  9. all into puppets. But He wants us to voluntarily love,

  10. so he puts up with the pain that evil cause

  11. in order to give you the freedom of choice. And

  12. you're gonna go through life and a lot of things

  13. in life. You're not gonna understand losses. You don't understand. Hurts,

  14. you don't understand rejection, you don't understand. Problems you don't understand.

  15. But here's the thing, you don't have to understand them

  16. to be at peace. In fact, an explanation doesn't give

  17. you peace anyway. When someone you love dies, if somebody

  18. told you the explanation for it, it wouldn't make you

  19. any happier. You still have the loss. Explanations don't comfort.

  20. What you need is not peace, I mean not in

  21. an explanation you need presence, the presence of God in

  22. your life. And what you need is what the Bible

  23. calls the peace that passes understanding. Look up here on

  24. the screen. Philippians four to seven says this, the peace

  25. of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts

  26. and minds through Christ Jesus. Now, what is the peace

  27. that passes understanding. It's when you feel at peace even

  28. though you don't understand what's going on. You have no reason,

  29. no explanation, no discernment. You just don't know why it's happening,

  30. but you're still at peace. And that is a supernatural

  31. peace that comes from God. Is that peace that passes

  32. understanding because I don't know why this is happening, but

  33. I do know this. I do know God is a

  34. good God, and I do know that he loves me,

  35. and I do know that he wants what's best for

  36. my life, and I do know that I can trust

  37. him even when I don't understand it. That's the peace

  38. that passes understand and it comes from feeling the love

  39. of God in your life.
