  3. Sermons from different factors and speakers all over the Philippines.

  4. We hope that this podcast finds you.

  5. In good shame and now here's your message. You're listening

  6. to a podcast from Victory Discover more about how Jesus is,

  7. the resurrection and the life in week seven of our

  8. series Beyond the Signs.

  9. And we'll be talking about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead.

  10. It's actually a resurrection story. But as we start this story,

  11. I want you to look at this in the lens

  12. of what is going to happen days after when Lazarus

  13. was raised from the grave. Jesus days after would die,

  14. be crucified and will also be resurrected Barton prequel of

  15. what was going to happen to Jesus himself. This miracle

  16. is also the last miracle that Jesus did here on Earth. Okay,

  17. And because it was the last miracle, he was going

  18. to confront his last and greatest enemy, which is death.

  19. Because when Christ is able to confront death, he can

  20. now proclaim to the entire known world, I am the

  21. son of God, nobody made a way for a dead

  22. person to come alive again. So that's why this is

  23. a very crucial science and wonders that happened during the

  24. time of Jesus. Now, for the past six weeks, what

  25. we've been saying is signs and wonders are.

  26. Tools by God to deliver a greater message.

  27. The message is not just Jesus can raise people from

  28. the dead. That's a signs and a wonder for Lazarus.

  29. But there was a greater message he wanted to tell

  30. the people. And again we look at John e. Levin,

  31. which is another long chapter. So I won't go verse

  32. by verse. We won't have any time. Would be good

  33. to go verse by verse and look at every angle

  34. of chapter eleven, but will jump up from verse seventeen.

  35. And as I jump up from verse seventeen, let me

  36. give you a background first, and they will pray. Okay,

  37. background is there was this man named Lazarus who was

  38. a friend of Jesus. They were close friends in a

  39. way Barcade Sileni, Lordna and Jesus was close with the

  40. sisters of Lazarus, Mary and Martha, Okay, very famous Bible characters.

  41. They would go out together they're good friends. Okay.

  42. In fact, in scripture Indiana kulang nacinabid on. This is Lazarus,

  43. Mary Martha, whom Jesus loved.

  44. Rarely do you get those verses.

  45. In the Bible, because it was saying that they were

  46. close to each other. And what happened was when Lazarus

  47. was ill was sick. Mary and Martha pm Jesus and

  48. said it says here. Gave a message to Jesus saying,

  49. the one you love is greatly ill or sick. Can

  50. you please come here and maybe do your thing and

  51. pray for your.

  52. Best friend Lazarus. When Jesus heard of this and sabing

  53. the Lord, nah, he'll not die.

  54. Instead, what Jesus did was spend two more additional days

  55. in Judea, did not go to his best friend's house

  56. and said, no, he's.

  57. Going to be by bye time in Chen.

  58. It stayed two more days, and after two days they

  59. received the news Jesus, your friend Lazarus is now dead.

  60. Jesus looks at the disciples and tells.

  61. Jesus, no, he's just asleep. Oh you mean he will recover. No,

  62. So the disciples couldn't understand, but for Jesus. What he

  63. was saying is I had things to do here. I

  64. can't go to my friend's side at this time. Imagine

  65. what two days you know. I love this because this

  66. message shows to us that even though we're dearly loved

  67. by God, there will be times will be hit by

  68. things that are common to all men. We get sick,

  69. we get accidents, we experienced calamities, trials, storms in life.

  70. Those are possible even to someone whom Jesus dearly loved.

  71. Were not immune to all these things because we live

  72. in a fallen world.

  73. And for Lazarus to be sick to the point of death,

  74. and now he's died, he died with Jesus not visiting him.

  75. It was kind of hard for Mary and Martha to

  76. receive Callaoba friend Muyan Ninita at Sinajamopa Madelena two days.

  77. That's why he is now, then, Verse seventeen.

  78. Now, when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already

  79. been in the tomb how many days?

  80. Four days.

  81. Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off. Now when

  82. Jesus came, not only was Lazarus dead, he was dead

  83. for four days. He missed visiting the hospital. He missed

  84. the funeral service. Ilagarao, missed the burial, and now his

  85. friend is buried for four days, long days.

  86. Jesus was saying, I have my own timeline. I'm not late.

  87. In fact, be happy I'm late because I'm about to

  88. do something. This is what he said in John eleven,

  89. in the first few verses, I'm glad he's dead. Imagine

  90. Mona Beaux, I've been a friend Mossillah, I'm glad Shell

  91. is dead.

  92. But that was what Jesus was saying. Oh he's dead. Oh,

  93. I'm glad.

  94. Because of his death, the glory of God will be revealed.

  95. Jesus was about to do something far more greater than

  96. what has happened in the family of Lazarus. But for

  97. Mary and Martha, they couldn't receive that. It was hard

  98. the emotion that they had with this. Now Bethany was

  99. near Jerusalem, about two miles off. What that meant also

  100. was sobron strategically, Lord Sabah, No, I'll be delayed for

  101. a few days. Why because this was Passover. During the Passover,

  102. millions of people would come to Jerusalem. And when millions

  103. of people would come and if you're just two miles

  104. off the tomb where Lazarus is spoiler alert time Abu

  105. boys in Lazarus, dita a right. If Lazarus comes back

  106. to life, the news would spread like wildfire, and it

  107. would spread throughout. And it's just two miles of Jerusalem

  108. where everything the Passover is happening.

  109. Millions now would get to.

  110. See and encounter this god, this Jesus who claims to

  111. be gone. So this was in his own timeline. Orelan

  112. deliberately today kaya Yan. But they couldn't understand. The friends

  113. could not understand.

  114. And many of the Jews had come to Martha and

  115. Marry to console them concerning their brother. So when Martha

  116. heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him,

  117. but Mary remained seated in the house. Again contacts Macriano Hindito,

  118. Ahwaintans Hindito pastor membern. They were close friends. So when

  119. Martha heard Jesus came, Martha said, I'm going to meet Jesus.

  120. Mary says, no, I'm staying here. Lord Lord. Mary remained

  121. and saying I'm not yet ready to meet Jesus. But

  122. Martha went. Everything was done, the funeral, the burial was

  123. all done.

  124. When Jesus came, Martha said to Jesus, Lord, if you

  125. had been here, my brother would not have died, a

  126. very familiar phrase. Lord, if you had been here earlier,

  127. if you were here two.

  128. Days ago, he might still be alive. Lord, if you've

  129. been here two months earlier, my loved one might be

  130. still alive if you just showed up when we were

  131. praying as a family to go to you past now mine.

  132. But Lord, you're late. If you had been how many

  133. times you'd prayed prayers like that?

  134. Lord, if you had been here, if you showed up, Lord,

  135. if you had exposed the man that I was going

  136. to marry and not in this marriage. Now, Lord, you're late.

  137. But sometimes you have to be glad that Jesus is late.

  138. Martha said, my brother's now dead. If you had been

  139. here earlier, he would have been alive.

  140. But look at how.

  141. Martha goes on after saying, Lord, if you had been here,

  142. the wrestling, the tension of her emotion, and how she's

  143. trying to understand Jesus. But then she said, but even now,

  144. I know that whatever you ask from God, God will

  145. give you girl and a girl.

  146. Now, bit this much shift, okay.

  147. Lord, you have been here earlier, Lazarus, mus Myda have

  148. not died.

  149. But but I know if you pray, God will listen

  150. to you. You see the emotions that's happening. I'm not

  151. really just talking about girls. I'm talking about all of

  152. us here. Imagine, Lord, have you've not been but I

  153. know you're going to do something. And I've experienced the

  154. same thing. This was years ago, four years ago, when

  155. my son was to be.

  156. Operated and he was a week old and they had

  157. to open him up.

  158. We were praying the whole time. Lord, Come, Lord, He'll

  159. called text that everyone, thousands of people praying for my son.

  160. Until the very last minute where he's being entered into

  161. the into the operating room.

  162. We were praying Lords out of a boss and doctor to

  163. the wow, supernatural, hallelujah. Did not happen. Lord, if you have.

  164. But at the same time, but even now, I know God,

  165. till the very last minute, I'm holding onto you that

  166. healing is going to come. But it's not the answer

  167. that I was expecting in the same way from Martha.

  168. But Lord, even I know now if you ask the Lord,

  169. God will do something to my brother. Here's what Jesus answered,

  170. Jesus said to her, your brother will rise again.

  171. Now look at Martha's answer. Martha said, I know that

  172. he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.

  173. See Martha diaman alam.

  174. It has been passed on to her. This is deep

  175. stuff what Martha said here. This is the reason a

  176. lot of Christians who know their Bible have hoped even

  177. in their death bed. I've visited people who read Love

  178. the Lord and they're about to die in a week's time,

  179. and I come out of there. I'm the one crying,

  180. why so bless, But Mamatai, you know, Lord, worship MAMAMATAI.

  181. Why because it's Christians we have hope. He is a resurrection.

  182. And this was the promise in Revelation.

  183. You're paying bat because one day, when you die, you

  184. will have glorified bodies. In the last days. I will

  185. see whoever my my loved one who's died, who's also

  186. of the faith, and.

  187. Bank Comfortina one day. And this was what Martha was saying, Yeah, Lord,

  188. I know one day Mcgigitar is a resurrection, the last

  189. day with glorified bodies. Right, And this was what Martha

  190. was conversing with Jesus so in her heart, imagine again

  191. what's going through her mind in her heart, Lord, your late.

  192. Now my brother's dead, but I know God, I know God.

  193. He will come alive one day.

  194. Hope. This is what we have as Christians. That's why

  195. we have Easter. Hope. You can't buy hope, can't buy hope,

  196. you can't download hope. Hope is given to us by Christ.

  197. That's why a Christian who understands resurrection will live differently

  198. from someone who doesn't believe in the resurrection.

  199. And later Jesus will challenge the very premise of if

  200. you really believe in the resurrection, this your life would

  201. be different. So Martha said, on the last day, I

  202. will see Lazarus. And then Jesus answered, and this is

  203. the message, more than just raising Lazarus from the dead.

  204. Jesus said, I am the resurrection in the life. He

  205. who believes in me will live even though he dies,

  206. And whoever lives and believes in me will never die again.

  207. Jesus declares, and I am statement. I am what the

  208. resurrection and I am the life. Two declarations for this miracle.

  209. I am the resurrection and I am the life. If

  210. I want your brother alive he will be alive resurrection.

  211. If I want your brother dead and you're going to

  212. see him in the resurrection days, in the last days,

  213. it's going to happen. Why I am the resurrection. I

  214. am the life. He who believes in me, though he dies,

  215. yet shall he live.

  216. This is eternal life.

  217. I'm Christian lang sabu mundo and kaya declare pagahona matai

  218. lang patinoba.

  219. And for some people that's what bragging. Yeah, bong holy calam.

  220. MOSI no, no, it's not. When I say when I die,

  221. I'm going to heaven. What I'm saying is I'm acknowledging

  222. on my own. I can never go there because Jesus

  223. is my resurrection in my life. Therefore, when I die,

  224. I'm going to heaven, not because I'm so good, but

  225. because God is so powerful.

  226. He is my resurrection. He is my life.

  227. Jesus is telling all of us that I am your resurrection.

  228. I am the way anybody gets resurrected.

  229. You want a life that is eternal, you go to me.

  230. I am the resurrection. I am the life. You can't

  231. find it anywhere else. Only I could offer that. And

  232. everyone who lives in me shall never die. Then he

  233. looks at the disciples with Mary and Martha and.

  234. Said, do you believe in this?

  235. Why ask that question the same way he asked in

  236. John six when everybody departed him.

  237. This is again another hard teaching. You see religion today,

  238. all gods.

  239. Not trying to offend anyone. Here, all God's human worship.

  240. You go to their tomb and the founder is still there.

  241. Only through historical evidence and biblical evidence can you see

  242. that the tomb.

  243. Of Jesus is empty.

  244. We long debate that there was this Jesus who existed.

  245. Even atheists would say, yeah, there was a Jesus. It's

  246. all in the historical records. That's why we don't need

  247. to debate.

  248. If Jesus existed.

  249. And I actually don't need to debate if Jesus resurrected

  250. because I'm a Christian and so Jesus was saying, here,

  251. I am the resurrection.

  252. In the life. Do you believe in this? And abado?

  253. Because people will malign you, people will persecute you if

  254. you believe in this, I am the resurrection and the life.

  255. For you to say that you will be born again,

  256. people will laugh at you. Do you believe that I

  257. am the resurrection. Do you believe that only I can

  258. give you that life? So when he asked do you

  259. believe in this, what he was saying is is there

  260. anything radical happening in your life? Because if you believe

  261. in the resurrection, your life should be different from someone

  262. who doesn't believe in the resurrection. The very foundation of

  263. Christianity is now on this resurrection.

  264. That's why I first got in ten fifteen.

  265. Paul said, if Jesus did not resurrect, our faith is useless.

  266. You don't need to go to church, you don't need

  267. to read your Bible, you don't need to surrender your

  268. life to.

  269. A dead God.

  270. Why sing a song to someone who's dead he cannot hear.

  271. Why go to church and worship to a dead God?

  272. This is futile, This is useless. Ha been in, Paul.

  273. So if you don't believe in the resurrection, no need

  274. to go to church next week unless condito. But if

  275. you really don't believe, you don't have to go. But

  276. as Christians, we believe in the resurrection.

  277. Paul was saying, because this is the thing that gives

  278. us our very own life.

  279. I am the resurrection in the life.

  280. Imagine when the demons heard this when Jesus declared, I

  281. am the resurrection in the.

  282. Life as venion or what's happening? Why?

  283. Because their ultimate plan was to what nail Jesus in

  284. the cross and he'll die in the cross. That was

  285. the plan. Kill the son. We win if we kill

  286. the son. Now, that's what I said. This is prequel

  287. to what is going to happen days after.

  288. When Jesus will resurrect. For Jesus, this is it my

  289. last enemy death. And so he declares, I am the

  290. resurrection and the life. Do you believe in the resurrection

  291. in bamboh my hope.

  292. Malakas and hope malaldi ma hop we can hope because

  293. we believe in the resurrection. That's why it's Christians we

  294. value life. What we're saying is that person is hope.

  295. There's no hopeless case kaya Governor Bryan. Why because hope

  296. resides in us. You cannot look at someone and say, Jared,

  297. no hope. I cannot, though I was tempted, no.

  298. Right.

  299. Imagine if somebody looked at me and said, Hope you

  300. can get You got the disciple.

  301. Yet, imagine why would someone invest their life in me? Hope?

  302. God can use this person hope when we're sick, Why

  303. do we pray for healing?

  304. Hope? Why do we pray for our nation? Na presidented

  305. a Dio Hope not in man, but in God resurrection.

  306. We believe. We hope as Christians, and that's why.

  307. We believe in the supernatural. We believe in signs and wonders.

  308. We believe in healing. There's no such thing as incurable

  309. for us. Why hope? It's God's business to heal. It's

  310. my part to hope in Christ. Hope romans for assuring

  311. us that God will also count us us righteous if

  312. we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our

  313. Lord from the dead. Look, the Bible tells us the

  314. reason we will be saved is because of the resurrection.

  315. If Christ rise from the dead, it means, Wow, I'm saved.

  316. But if he remains dead, useless prayer, Go, Lord coming

  317. to my life, coming to me. He won't hear he's dead.

  318. He says, It's the same I made righteous because Christ

  319. was raised from the dead. He was handed over to

  320. die because of our sins, and he was raised to

  321. life to make us what right with God? He was

  322. raised to life so that I could be made right

  323. with God.

  324. What makes me right with God? My good works, No,

  325. the resurrection.

  326. Because I put my hope in the resurrected Jesus. I

  327. am now made right with God because of what he

  328. did on the cross for me, not what I do

  329. for him. I know I keep repeating this almost every

  330. week already, but sometimes we just have to put it

  331. sometimes in our heart, head and heart. It's not about you.

  332. You can never save yourself. It is the resurrection power

  333. of Christ that saves us. Our sins were paid in full,

  334. and it's legitimate. Because Jesus rose from the grave, He's alive.

  335. So when Jesus said to Martha, do you believe that

  336. I'm the Resurrection in the life, she said to him, Yes, Lord,

  337. I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God,

  338. who is coming into the world.

  339. I believe in you. I believe you're the restaurant.

  340. But Martha had no idea what Jesus was about to do.

  341. Siguru in her mind, yeah, I believe I will see

  342. Lazarus when I die in heaven, we.

  343. Will see I believe. I believe what I read.

  344. I believe the theology, the doctrines that has been passed on

  345. to me. But Jesus was revealing now an ultimate message.

  346. Now when Mary came, so Martha said, I believe. Now,

  347. Mary came out to.

  348. Where Jesus was and saw him. She fell at his feet,

  349. saying that, Lord, if you had been here, my brother

  350. would not have died. Same same line, imagine, it's the

  351. same line, condeala and lady Lord, Gondela, Lady Lord. Now

  352. Mary goes there, we holds to Jesus feet and started weeping. Lord,

  353. if you had been here, my brother would not have died.

  354. When Jesus saw this, saw her weeping, and the Jews

  355. had come there with her, also weeping. Everybody was crying.

  356. He was deeply moved in his spirit. See Lord, you

  357. know he knows he's going to raise Lazarus from the dead.

  358. So forth, friend, Yeah, he was deeply moved. He was

  359. greatly troubled. Two emotions.

  360. That's why sometimes you have to read the Bible slowly,

  361. because there's two emotions here. He was deeply moved my empathy, awahaha.

  362. And he was greatly troubled. Now, the word greatly troubled,

  363. when you translate, it means bellowing with rage gall it

  364. so emotion nothing.

  365. Now when it says greatly troubled bellowing with rage, mikal

  366. silent anger. No, you bellow with rage? The ban so

  367. I bellowing with rage?

  368. Yeah?

  369. Or the name cassinola laam okay bellowing with rage ma.

  370. Union. Yeah. You knew alm Jesus was greatly troubled.

  371. Now you asked why why is Jesus angry? Was it

  372. because the women were crying? And Lazarus, what's happening?

  373. Why is he mad? And here's the reason why he

  374. was angry at death. Not because your last this is

  375. the very last enemy.

  376. He's going to confront death for the wages of sin

  377. is what death.

  378. Sin has caused death, kalit neglichi lords are sin that

  379. has destroyed so many people, so many families, so many

  380. lives of kids in nations because of sin. He bellowed

  381. with rage because he knew that this was death.

  382. John Calvin said upon reading this text, see Jesus though.

  383. And kalabana death parado champion magi pasan. That is what

  384. greatly troubled means. I want to defeat this. I'll do

  385. what ever it takes. That's why his statements in scripture

  386. very strong. I came here to destroy the works of

  387. the devil. His mission was so clear. I came here

  388. to die on the cross.

  389. Why because I am going to destroy the works of

  390. the enemy. He would say, the thief comes to still

  391. kill and destroy. I came that you might have life

  392. and have life to the full.

  393. And the only way to do that is to defeat death.

  394. Strong words from Jesus. Looks at the disciples, and that's

  395. the disciples.

  396. I've given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions

  397. and to overcome all the power of the enemy. When

  398. it comes to fighting Sin, Jesus was all business. I

  399. got on your passion.

  400. I don't want Sin to destroy because Sin has destroyed

  401. so many people.

  402. And he said, where have you laid him? They said

  403. to him, Lord, come and see the shortest verse in

  404. the Bible. Jesus wept as.

  405. They were walking.

  406. Imagine the scene, best friend of Martha Mary Lazarus on

  407. the tomb.

  408. Where did you put him? Everybody was crying.

  409. Imagine he wept because he felt grabbing Lord nat empathy

  410. laz Rospero, because you have didn't in Indiana. Guy does

  411. know I'm the resurrection?

  412. It is is it? The Lord love?

  413. So everybody was crying empathy, very strong virtue, that everybody

  414. must have.

  415. Gal it empathy to let me Lloyd.

  416. Here's how mad Jesus is when it comes to death.

  417. First courting Tien's fifteen.

  418. For as in.

  419. Adam will die, even so in Christ shall all be

  420. made alive.

  421. For he must reign. How does he.

  422. Reign till he had put all his enemies under his feet?

  423. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is what death.

  424. If I overcome death, I will reign.

  425. The enemy has no power. Why because the only thing

  426. the enemy can do to us? John ten ten.

  427. Still kill, destroy? Jesus said, Oh you still kill and destroy?

  428. I'm putting you under my feet. That's why when you

  429. read the scripture, sometimes we look at the Bible in

  430. a different way, in a false way. Why we think

  431. if I read my Bible, the bad people will become good.

  432. The Bible is not a book to make bad people good.

  433. It's a book to make dead people come to life.

  434. And you need to see it that way. Preachings like

  435. this every Sunday is not so that Parama. What we're

  436. trying to do is to call out what was once

  437. dead and make it come alive. In Christ, why Because

  438. the last enemy is death and it is sin that

  439. has brought death.

  440. So we need to address sin. And how do you

  441. address sin by doing more good works? No way, we

  442. cannot do this on our own.

  443. We need someone to fight for us.

  444. And Jesus was saying, I'm fighting for us, I'm standing

  445. for us, I'm defeating.

  446. Death for us. So the Jew said, see how he

  447. loved him.

  448. But some of them said, could not he who opened

  449. the eyes of the blind man, John six also have

  450. kept this man from John nine kept this man from dying.

  451. Dibah Prea chapters ago eyeballs Niginya.

  452. While they were walking, imagine there was a paid a

  453. discussion going on.

  454. Then Jesus deeply move again, came to the tomb.

  455. It was a cave and a stone lay against it.

  456. When you die before and you have a certain amount

  457. of money, you can actually get a tomb okay. And

  458. this was a cave okay.

  459. And Nazarus was inside, and Jesus said, take away the stone.

  460. Now. Martha, the sister the dead man, said to.

  461. Him, Lord Margie, she go to Maga forty plus, n

  462. Martha a thirty plus learn learn yeah, friends to it,

  463. inter mine imagine in their mind, Ah, Jesus wants to

  464. go to the tomb to pay lest respects. He missed

  465. the funeral and the burial. At least go to the tomb.

  466. So in their mind it was like.

  467. Okay, now when Jesus said, now move, take away the stone. Oops,

  468. you coordinate? No no, no no.

  469. If we can't, there will be an othor. For he

  470. has been dead for days. It's going to be smelly.

  471. What's the message here?

  472. You see death? It stinks.

  473. Sin stinks when there's sin in our life. Very cultural

  474. for us. Jesus now confronts the very root of death,

  475. which is sin, and confronting sin would be stinky.

  476. But he was ready. He was saying, I'll go to

  477. the place where it stinks the most.

  478. Removed the stone. I'm confronting that sin. Someone must confront

  479. the sin. But Lord, Pa, we live in a shame culture.

  480. I I nating now malham problamnating. I've heard so many

  481. lines even inside the church, watin sharto may problam ati

  482. natah a victory group.

  483. You may problam, problam the Lord. And are you open

  484. to share your stink so that Christ can do something

  485. about it?

  486. Because if you hide it, it can never be confronted.

  487. Jesus said, take away the stone. He was willing to

  488. save you where it stinks. And he say, I'm ready.

  489. I'm going to do.

  490. Something and I will confront that sin by my death

  491. on the cross, which was going.

  492. To happen days after. Why why can he do that?

  493. Because he's the resurrection in the life.

  494. You need him, big dilk, That's why he's coming, and

  495. he wants to transform.

  496. And he says, take away the stone.

  497. Are you ready to take the stone away and be

  498. vulnerable this year? And say I need help, I need Christ,

  499. I need this resurrection, I need this life. Why my

  500. marriage is thinking, my faith is thinking, my.

  501. Health is thinking, my mind stinks. I need help only

  502. if you're willing to remove.

  503. The stone for Christ to come so that you would

  504. experience resurrection, power and life. Then Jesus said, did I

  505. not tell you that if you believed, you would see

  506. the glory of God. At this point, he looks at

  507. the crowd. Now there might have been hundreds now following him. Okay,

  508. because this is Jesus who did six miracles. Already, we've

  509. been through it the six weeks, right, But Sina become

  510. guest speaker. Na Jesus weeks been buento and not in

  511. six weeks.

  512. At the next week in Ditasha, you would invite everyone. Right,

  513. everybody's there.

  514. Now they're looking and Jesus tell them told him, did

  515. I not tell you that if you.

  516. Believe, you would see the glory of God. So now

  517. they were, oh, what's gonna happen, what's gonna happen?

  518. So they took away the stone, and Jesus lifted up

  519. his eyes and said, Father, I thank you that you

  520. have heard me. Started to pray, Lord, thank you, because

  521. you are a god who listens to my prayers. I

  522. knew that you always hear me, but I said this

  523. on account of the people standing around that they may

  524. believe that you sent me.

  525. This was the dagger sat Lord Salam, that I am

  526. the resurrection in the life, the one that you've said.

  527. This was the same crowd who heard him say I

  528. am the Resurrection in the life. And now the demonstration

  529. is about to happen.

  530. And he made sure.

  531. Everybody heard because this is going to spread. In the

  532. last of John eleven the Pharise, He's heard this and

  533. tried to make a way to murder Jesus O Jerusalem,

  534. this is my message.

  535. I am the Resurrection and the Life.

  536. And I hope you're hearing it now coming from a

  537. Chinese pastor, but I hope you hear the voice of

  538. Jesus saying I am the Resurrection, I am the Life.

  539. I'm the one who can give you hope, who can

  540. give you life.

  541. Not people, not not not your achievements, not what you

  542. do for me that will never give you life. I

  543. am the resurrection in the life.

  544. But there needs to be a part in us to

  545. get out of our sin, the stinking sin, our addiction,

  546. our strongholds, our caves. We need to get out and

  547. be set free. We've got to grab hold of that life.

  548. That is found in Christ.

  549. And in verse forty three, he cried with a loud voice.

  550. He says, Lazarus come forth, and he who had died

  551. came out.

  552. I want you to imagine the scene.

  553. Scholars tells us specifically he called Lazarus come forth.

  554. Could be that's why it was specific Lazarus. That was

  555. the power of his resurrection.

  556. What is being shown here when he said Lazarus and

  557. it was specific, it was a glimpse of his glory's.

  558. Right but that will.

  559. Happen according to what Martha was saying, it will happen

  560. in the resurrection.

  561. And how does it happen today?

  562. It happens today when we pray for the Sikh and

  563. healing comes. It's a glimpse of what's about to happen

  564. in the future of the glory of God. It happens

  565. when we pray for the impossible and something happened miraculously.

  566. It's a glimpse.

  567. Yuma Halamo, hopeless case Beglongbago and gin Christiano Nebago, Marage

  568. and Bago turned around. Wow, it's a glimpse of what's

  569. going to happen when Jesus rules and reigns in the

  570. whole earth in his fullness, in his glory.

  571. So for this one, it was a glimpse. And see Lazarus.

  572. Can I heal everyone?

  573. Yes, But I'm just giving you a glimpse of what's

  574. going to happen in the future. And that's why it's

  575. what's only Lazarus. Lazarus come forth, and Lazarus and a

  576. dead man came out. And I want you to look

  577. at this picture because we preached this a million times

  578. already and we miss it most of the time.

  579. I want you to imagine that Lazarus, come forth. A

  580. dead man came out. The man who died came out,

  581. his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his

  582. face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to the man

  583. to them, unbind him and let him go. Lazarus, come forth.

  584. He can't walk all right, he had to jump. Imagine

  585. the picture. Now everybody's amazed. Imagine if this happens today,

  586. what will you do?

  587. Lazarus, come forth, my baba worship whoa had Ambaudi came alive.

  588. But I want you to see the picture here. Don't

  589. miss the picture. He was tied, he's alive, and Jesus

  590. now calls out. You look through all the New Testament.

  591. You see the pattern, even when the church was birthed

  592. in the New Testae. Jesus unbind him and let him go.

  593. It takes others to fully experience the resurrection and the life.

  594. Can't do this on your own. You need community. The

  595. best thing about Lazarus Mary and Martha friends connected. They

  596. had to unbind him and let him go, so brandam Christiana,

  597. Kayawa and credibility. But then they preaching no resurrection. Back

  598. at friend what are you doing? Why nobody knows you?

  599. You're not in community, you don't have others. It's just you,

  600. super Christian, doing everything on your own, not being disciples,

  601. running away from accountability, running away from community. Yes you

  602. can do that, Yes I will see you in heaven.

  603. But while here on earth you're going to hop and

  604. you can't move.

  605. Why do you need to be en? Because when resurrection.

  606. Power comes over our lives, the main goal is not

  607. just to save you, all of us we have a mission,

  608. imagine mono, but the very purpose of the resurrection is

  609. just to save us.

  610. You know what would be a good idea?

  611. Resurrection power comes, everybody dies and goes to heaven. But no,

  612. how come when somebody receives Christ in his life, he

  613. doesn't die. He's still alive, but now as a new

  614. creation with a new mission to go and make disciples

  615. of all nations say young young power, but feeling not

  616. a new resurrection power. They and lang it paro. It

  617. takes to be part of community to let others unbind

  618. you and lose you so that you can go. The

  619. other version, I think King James powerful Light, lose that

  620. man and let him go.

  621. Lacking n with a mission. It's going to be very

  622. fruitful and productive life here on earth, doing damage in

  623. the kingdom of darkness.

  624. And doing great things for the Kingdom of God. The resurrection,

  625. the power of the resurrection. God has given you life,

  626. resurrection life. But please do it in the context of community.

  627. Let others unbind you and run with the vision.

  628. The call that God has given you.

  629. Today, you've got to lose that man and that woman

  630. and let him go and do what God has called

  631. him to do. Can be bought on our heads and pray, Lord.

  632. We thank you for the life a Flazarus. Lord.

  633. The story shows to us you're never late, but you

  634. move in your own timeline. That the greater message behind

  635. this miracle is not that only God can raise people

  636. from the dead, but that Lord, you are the resurrection

  637. in the life. And Lord, you want to bring about

  638. transformation in me by first making me take away the

  639. stone and exposing my stink of sin that causes death,

  640. in my relationships, in my faith, in my fruitfulness, in

  641. my calling.

  642. Lord. I pray today, Lord.

  643. That we would let you take charge and take control

  644. of the thing that causes us to stink, because you

  645. are coming like a champion wanting to fight death, and

  646. that you want to put death under your feet. John

  647. ten ten, the thief came to steal, to kill and destroy.

  648. But Jesus you came that we might have life, and

  649. have life abundantly. And Lord you declared, I am the

  650. resurrection in the life. Lord you want to give this

  651. to us today. And so Lord, we receive your resurrection power.

  652. And Lord, I pray that I will be in community

  653. from this day on, make an effort to be in community.

  654. Lord, thank you.
