  4. finds you in good shape. And now here's your message.

  5. You're listening to a podcast from Victory. The Holy Spirit

  6. is the divine third person in the Triune God. We

  7. can know him, experience him, and fellowship with him. Learn

  8. more about this truth in week one of our series

  9. to Make Room.

  10. We are starting a brand new series today and this

  11. is going to run for six weeks, and we are

  12. really excited. We're praying that not only in our gathering here,

  13. but as you go back to your house, to your work,

  14. wherever you God placed you, that we are praying that

  15. this is going to something that is going to affect

  16. whatever it is that you're doing and will affect your

  17. walk with God. We are going to talk about the

  18. Holy Spirit and this is one of the doctrines or

  19. teaching in the Bible that we can understand but not

  20. fully comprehend. And I'm sure all of us medon Hutayom

  21. Magabage that we can understand some of our gadgets and

  22. technology we can understand we are using it, but we

  23. can really comprehend how the parts and all of these

  24. things are working together in order for this to work

  25. or to happen. And the Holy Spirit is one of

  26. the doctrines in the Bible that we can talk there.

  27. It's revealed. That's why we believe. But really we cannot

  28. fully comprehend how there can be three persons in one God.

  29. It's called the mystery. Mystery is something that is hard

  30. to understand, something that is hard to explain. And even

  31. in our own church Maramipong Mysterio. I can just show

  32. you some examples. There's there's many that I can only

  33. show you three. First one one of the mysteries we

  34. have here in church yen Ayenpalian see Francis marrying Pam.

  35. Here's another mystery. One of the mysteries in church, Pastor

  36. Larry with with yet Uh. And the greatest mystery of

  37. all is my boss Pastor Dennis and Tommy. Maybe you're wondering,

  38. but when I picture of my gen Pastor Bahama of

  39. Engun Wifko Sol, Pastor DNI's Mahmoelen and Trabajo. But we

  40. have mysteries, things that are hard to explain and to understand.

  41. And so what we're going to do today in the

  42. next five weeks, we're going to look at the Bible

  43. and see what the Bible reveals to us about the

  44. Holy Spirit. We're going to talk about the person and

  45. the power of the Holy Spirit, and how is this

  46. important to us as Christians? In fact, you cannot be

  47. a Christian without the Holy Spirit. You cannot follow Jesus,

  48. and you cannot do the things that God is calling

  49. you to do without the Holy Spirit. Now, there is

  50. an interesting verse in the Bible in Acts nineteen. This

  51. is not yet our main texts, just trying to lay

  52. down the importance of our series. Acts nineteen, verse one

  53. to two. While Apollos was at current, Paul took the

  54. road through the interior and arrived at Ephisuds. There he

  55. found some decideles and asked them, did you receive the

  56. Holy Spirit? When you believe? The Gospel spread so rapidly

  57. that it reached different kinds of people. And Paul was

  58. trying to meet all these disciples and putting foundation in

  59. their faith. And here's one of the most important foundations

  60. and teaching. He said, have you received the Holy Spirit?

  61. And said, we have not even heard that there is

  62. a Holy Spirit. You know, I grew up hearing about

  63. the Holy Spirit. I grew up mentioning the name of

  64. the Holy Spirit. How many of you here, every time

  65. you pray, you mentioned the Holy Spirit. Okay, signing of

  66. the cross right in the name of the Father, the

  67. Son in the Holy Spirit. I grew up with that tradition,

  68. but never really understanding who the Holy Spirit is and

  69. why I need the Holy Spirit. I just went through

  70. the motion. I just copied what I heard, but not

  71. really understanding the significance of this in my own walk

  72. with God. And so it's important that now that you're

  73. a Christian, you don't just carry that tradition and you

  74. don't just follow the religion. But you have to understand

  75. is this just a concept or idea or is this

  76. something that will change my life? Is this something that

  77. will affect my day to day life? Because Christianity is

  78. not just going to church every Sunday. How many of

  79. you hear you enjoy going to church every Sunday? Sana no, no, no, no.

  80. How many of you are learning every Sunday? I mean,

  81. I love the fellowship, I love us worshiping together. But

  82. there is more to Christianity than just going to church.

  83. There is more to Christianity than just having a good

  84. family and just being nice to people. Christianity, the Gospel

  85. brings revolution. As we've said that we are saved, not

  86. just for us to go to heaven. That's ever in.

  87. That's not even the major discussion. With Jesus and the disciples.

  88. He's talking about the kingdom, and when he talked to

  89. his disciples, he said, the Kingdom of God is near.

  90. They're waiting for a different kingdom, a different idea of

  91. kingdom where the Romans will be the reign of the

  92. Romans will end, the Jews will reign again into power,

  93. just like during the time of David and Solomon, and

  94. Jesus will reign as the ruler, as the king of kings.

  95. That's their idea. They're waiting for it. But Jesus said, no,

  96. you're missing it. The kingdom is already here and the

  97. Kingdom is advancing, and we're part of that. There is

  98. a kingdom to advance, there is a gospel to preach,

  99. there are people to be saved, and we have a

  100. role to play as Christians. God involve us in what

  101. is doing in the world today. That's why Christianity is

  102. not a boring life. It's a call to the greatest

  103. adventure of our life. We're called to something big than us,

  104. but it's not possible without the help of the Holy Spirit.

  105. So that's what we're going to talk about. And today

  106. we're going to start these years by talking about the

  107. person of the Holy Spirit. So if you have your

  108. Bible with you, we'll read from John fourteen, starting in

  109. verse twelve to seventeen. It says, truly, truly, I say

  110. to you, whoever believes in me will also do the

  111. works that I do, And greater works than these will

  112. he do. Because I'm going to the Father. Whatever you

  113. ask in my name, this I will do that the

  114. Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask

  115. me anything in my name, I will do it. How

  116. many of you liked that promise that when you pray,

  117. your prayer will not be in vain, that your prayer

  118. will be heard, and God will respond to your prayer.

  119. And verse fifteen, if you love me, you will keep

  120. my command. And obeying God is always about love. It's

  121. not about duty, and it's not about our ability. Can

  122. I do that, Lord, The real question is do you

  123. love God? Because if you love somebody, you will find ways.

  124. Elenus in love Mario, how many single people do we

  125. have in this room? Can you please wave your hands

  126. and look around you know, I mean all of us

  127. experienced being in love. And if you're in love kit

  128. klaas kite make gallet family members or there are people

  129. against the relationship, you fight for the relationship. So love

  130. is powerful. It's always an issue about love. Do you

  131. love God? Because Jesus said, if you love me, you

  132. will obey my commandments. And here's what I really where

  133. I really want is to focus and I will ask

  134. the Father and he will give you another helper to

  135. be with you forever, even the spirit of Truth, whom

  136. the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor

  137. knows him, but you know him, for he dwells with

  138. you and will be in you. Lord. We pray that

  139. you will anoint your word. We pray the ture word

  140. will create a desire, a hunger, a thurst in our

  141. heart to know you and to experience the Holy Spirit

  142. in our lives. In Jesus name, Amen Well John fourteen.

  143. I like what John said. He said whoever believes in me.

  144. How many of you here you believe in Jesus. You

  145. have faith in Jesus. I like that. Christianity is not

  146. rocket science. It's not complicated. In fact, Jesus said, if

  147. you want to receive salvation, if you want to do

  148. greater things, that's the context. The only requirement is for

  149. you to believe. It's not for you to have this

  150. all kinds of knowledge about the Bible. It's good for

  151. us to grow in our knowledge of the Bible, but

  152. it's not a prerequisite in order for us to experience

  153. God or his destiny and plan for our lives. He said,

  154. whoever believes in me, whether you are new in the

  155. faith and you still have struggles and issues, and you're

  156. thinking depac leader, bague la nao, there are things that

  157. God is working in my life. I want you to know.

  158. God is also doing things work in my own life.

  159. I still have issues, I still have struggles. So we

  160. are in the same league. And Jesus said, whoever believes

  161. in me, whether you're a leader or not. You've been

  162. in Christianity for twenty years or just twenty hours. If

  163. you're in christ this is for you. Whoever believes in me,

  164. regardless of your age, educational background, economic status. It's faith.

  165. It's about faith. And he said, whoever believes in Me

  166. will do greater works. You know, Jesus came for two reasons.

  167. One is to die on the cross so that you

  168. and I can have a way to be saved and

  169. for our sins to be forgiven. But that's not the

  170. only reason why Jesus came. Not only to die on

  171. the cross. He stayed here for thirty three years. He

  172. wore our clothes, ate our food, use our language. You know,

  173. I want to imagine that if Jesus lived during our time,

  174. he will have a Facebook account. But that during his time,

  175. the Bible says he came and dwelt among us, He

  176. joined the community. He walked with people, experience what normal

  177. human beings experience, pain, betrayal, joy sadness, victory. And the

  178. reason for that the reason God clothed himself with humanity.

  179. He's one hundred percent God, but he's also one hundred

  180. percent man. He experienced to be hungry and tired and

  181. all of these things. And the reason for that is

  182. because God wants to give us a picture, an example

  183. of how a spirit filled life look like. If we're

  184. going to be filled by the Holy Spirit, if we're

  185. going to rely and be guided on the Holy Spirit,

  186. how does it look like? Andherruptibi if you are just

  187. going to read, it's hard. You know, many of you know.

  188. I used to be part of a dance group. You

  189. want sample to playing a music. It used to be

  190. part of a dance group. And we used to follow maneuver.

  191. Some of them part of our church, high school, plan

  192. Hoge and a guy in an Amenzilano. And during our time,

  193. there's no YouTube, there's no Internet, there's no nothing that

  194. we What we have today, what we have during our

  195. time is beta macs. Okay, let's say you a Beta Max.

  196. That's what we have. What we'll do is we're going

  197. to watch, for example, a TV show where they will

  198. guess and have a dance number, and we'll record it

  199. using this. And what we're going to do is we're

  200. going to watch it again and again copy the moves,

  201. and that's how we learn to dance. So Papa so

  202. gaya Gayazadin, we will be able to complete it. And

  203. so when we go to a party, because we're so

  204. in demand during that time, A miss gay Barangay League

  205. three on three. We're so in demand during the time,

  206. and we will be able to dance like them. We

  207. will be able to copy the formation and the steps.

  208. The reason for that is because we're able to watch it.

  209. But the here's what's amazing, and here's what's exciting. Jesus said,

  210. whoever believes in me will not only do the work

  211. that I'm doing, but you will do greater works. You

  212. will do greater things. Reading the story of Jesus, when

  213. he multiplied five logs and two fish and feed five

  214. thousand people. Out of that, he was able to call

  215. out Peter, and Peter was able to walk on water.

  216. He was able to disciple twelve men who used to

  217. be so I mean, full of issues and flaws, and

  218. yet they became world changer. And Jesus said, whoever believes

  219. in me, you will not only be able to do

  220. the things that I'm doing, you will do greater things.

  221. God wants you and I to do greater things. God

  222. wants you and I to do greater works in this world.

  223. Not just go through life, not just be a private individual.

  224. God wants you to impact change in this world. God

  225. wants you to you and I to do big things.

  226. It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, or young

  227. and old, even if a high school student. That's what

  228. I like about our campus ministry. They don't need to

  229. wait to become thirty or forty or millionaire in order

  230. to change the world. As high school student, by the

  231. power of the Holy Spirit, they can change the world.

  232. You and I. God is calling us to do greater things.

  233. If Jesus was able to disciple twelve men in three years,

  234. you can disciple maybe twelve thousand people in your lifetime.

  235. You're destined to do greater works. If Jesus was able

  236. to feed five thousand people, maybe God wants you to

  237. feed fifty thousand people in your lifetime. You know, we

  238. went to the house of one of our leaders last Wednesday,

  239. see mister Willichew when he show us around, because it

  240. was a miraculous provision from God. And the part of

  241. his house that I really like the most was this

  242. this stock room in his garage. Buddha been. But they're

  243. believing God is a family for stuff, different things, clothes

  244. and food and sometimes wheelchair. They're just believing for things

  245. so that when an opportunity comes or where there is

  246. a need that will arise. They have something to give. Wow,

  247. greater things, greater faith, greater words. How many of you here?

  248. You want to do greater things. You want to be

  249. used by God to do greater works. I like that. Lord,

  250. give me that kind of faith, he said. If you're

  251. a giver, you will not run out of things to give.

  252. I want that kind of faith. I want that kind

  253. of spirit that will enable me to do great things,

  254. that will enable me to rise above my situation in

  255. the May problem up coming pagamic key, Lord Hindi Ilankaya.

  256. God doesn't want us to be held hostage by our situation.

  257. With the spirit of God, we can rise above our

  258. situation and we can do greater things. Are you here?

  259. Thank you now. When Jesus talked about the Holy Spirit,

  260. he described the Holy Spirit in this verse using the

  261. word another helper and the spirit of truth and first

  262. one another helper another in the Greek word means the

  263. same kind. And one thing we need to know about

  264. the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit has emotion.

  265. There is a verse in the Bible. Lets us don't

  266. grieve the Holy Spirit. You know, convict experience. You by

  267. the new heart will act on peace I mean, have

  268. you experienced that young ala mula pinnipilit my young isamba

  269. guy alamupagin Dc, Lord, though you don't have peace, you're

  270. being convicted. Every time you receive that conviction, we are grieving.

  271. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has emotion. There's a

  272. verse in the Bible and Acts when the disciples were fasting,

  273. and the Bible says, the Holy Spirit spoke and said,

  274. set apart for me, Paul and Barnabas. The Holy Spirit

  275. has a will intelligence because the Holy Spirit is a person.

  276. He is not a force sent by God so that

  277. we can have supernatural power, so we can do supernatural things.

  278. He is a person. In the Book of Genesis, in Creation,

  279. in the book of the Beginning the Creation, the Bible says,

  280. the earth was without form, and there was darkness, and

  281. the whole the Spirit was hovering upon the face of

  282. the water. Even in Genesis one, the Holy Spirit was

  283. there already working and bringing into completion what God God's

  284. will is now another means of the same kind. That's

  285. why there's a verse in the Bible that says Jesus

  286. was talking to his disciples because the disciples were so sad.

  287. But can Papa Alam. We want you to be with us.

  288. We've waited for you. Now you're telling us you're going

  289. back to the Father. And Jesus said, it is for

  290. your advantage that I'm going away. You know why because

  291. when Jesus was here, he's confined in one place because

  292. of embracing that humanity. But Nasa Green Hills, see Jesus,

  293. he can't be in the gig, he can't be in

  294. Mandalujum because he confined himself to that. But he said,

  295. but if I go away, it is to your advantage

  296. because I will send another helper, same kind as if

  297. I never left. So if you have the Holy Spirit,

  298. it's as if you have Jesus with you. Wow. I

  299. used to imagine the feeling, how it's like if Jesus

  300. is your victory group leader. Imagine you beyond twelve knowing

  301. because a lit late the Patawa say, Jesus, no meetings,

  302. you go and as a meeting or is go to Talagan.

  303. You will make sure Jesus. Can you imagine if Jesus

  304. is your victory group leader, if you are with if

  305. you're together, feeling was the down He's the best encourager,

  306. He's the best leader. Maybe I'll be the best leader

  307. that I can be. Maybe we never had that opportunity

  308. or chance. We're not born during that time, yet we'd

  309. never had the chance. But guess what the Bible says.

  310. If you have the Holy Spirit, it's like having Jesus

  311. with you every day. Just think about that, when you

  312. go to your house, to your work, when you're driving,

  313. wherever you go. You have the spirit of God, another kind,

  314. the same kind and helper. In the Greek another word

  315. for that is helper. Helper is an advocate. It's like

  316. having your own lawyer. Do we have lawyer in the room?

  317. Lawyers but mayana TV shows. But if you if you

  318. have a case and somebody is accusing you, you need

  319. a lawyer. You don't know the law, you don't know

  320. how to defend yourself. But if you have a lawyer,

  321. somebody can defend you. It's interesting because when Jesus talked

  322. about the Holy Spirit, he used the word helper, which

  323. is also which also means advocate, meaning you have a

  324. lawyer to defend you. You know why because in Revelation

  325. it says Satan is the accuser of the brothers, who

  326. accuses us day and night, and one of the reasons

  327. I believe while some while some Christians cannot cannot be

  328. fully released and allow the Holy Spirit to work in

  329. their life is because they are They are in condemnation

  330. or in shame, damning be not but on accusation, damning lies.

  331. Remember what you did, Remember who you are diming. So

  332. we are so bombarded and so no as much as

  333. we want to respond to God, we can. But if

  334. you have the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit remind you

  335. of who you are. He reminds you of God's word.

  336. The Bible says there is now no condemnation for those

  337. who are in Christ Jesus. You make a mistake, you

  338. go to God ask for forgiveness, and the Bible says

  339. He is willing to forgive you and cleanse you. That's

  340. why we can stand, we can be bold, we can

  341. be confident. We're not hiding anything because we have God

  342. as our lord. Not only that, but the word comforter,

  343. and the idea of comforter is not just somebody who

  344. makes you feel good when you're down, but the idea

  345. of somebody helping you find courage and strength so you

  346. can continue when you're down. How many of you hear

  347. you need strength every single day. Me Lattio. We need strength.

  348. There's just so many things we go through and face

  349. in life every single day. That's why one of the

  350. things I do when I'm making disciple is that before

  351. we part ways, I'm just asking God, Lord, what is

  352. one positive thing or good thing that I can speak

  353. into this person's life. Everyone needs encouragement. Everyone needs to

  354. know that God is doing a great work in my

  355. life in spite of all the things that I see

  356. right now, the failures and the shortcomings and the weaknesses

  357. and the imperfections. And the good thing about the Holy

  358. Spirit is that the Holy Spirit is our helper. That's

  359. why we can continue, we can fight, we can follow Jesus.

  360. I like to think of the helper of the Holy

  361. Spirit as a gym trainer. Okay, I used to go

  362. to the gym. You smell me. I still go from

  363. time to time to read newspaper and drink coffee. But

  364. when I was still going to the gym, that was

  365. a Gira trainer. What I like about having a trainer,

  366. and here I'm a gym exercise that was you're so

  367. limited with your strength, you can you can only carry

  368. as much. But if you have a trainer. The good

  369. thing about a trainer merguan spotter that's been a boss

  370. help before you know it. You can actually do the exercise.

  371. You can carry heavier weights, you can stay longer, you

  372. can carry heavier because there's somebody helping you. I am helper.

  373. The help the Holy Spirit is like our helper. Maha

  374. bagin Godly husband, all the husbands say amen, you ma wife,

  375. you know amen. It's not easy to live up pure

  376. in holy life. It's not easy to be generous, it's

  377. not easy to be humble. It's not easy to be

  378. consistent with the things that God has called you to do.

  379. It's not easy to make disciples. What will enable us

  380. to do all these things the power of the Holy

  381. Spirit in our life. That's why we need to learn

  382. to rely on the Holy Spirit. Lord, help me, Holy Spirit,

  383. empower meng Holan. I don't know if somebody, if there

  384. are people who will believe me, but you said I

  385. will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on me,

  386. and I will be an effective witness. I stand on

  387. that promise, so I will go, I will open my

  388. mouth and I will rely on you. Amazing what God

  389. can do when you believe amazing what God can produce

  390. the moment. We believe, whoever believes in me will do

  391. greater things, because I will ask the Father, and he

  392. will give you another helper. And not only that, the

  393. spirit of truth. Wait. Wait, Romans chapter eight, verse eleven.

  394. I can't miss this verse. The Bible says, if the

  395. spirit of Him or raise Jesus from the dead dwells

  396. in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will

  397. also give lifelyer mortal bodies through his spirit that dwells

  398. in you. The same power that sustained Jesus during his

  399. time on earth, and the same power that raised him

  400. from the dead. The Bible says, it's the same power

  401. that is available for us today. Wow. Can you imagine?

  402. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is

  403. the same power resting inside of you? Are you accessing

  404. that power? Are we experiencing the reality of the Holy Spirit?

  405. Are we learning to be led and be empowered by

  406. the Holy Spirit and the last Spirit of truth? First

  407. Corintians chapter two, verse nine to eleven. But as it

  408. is written, what no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

  409. nor the heart of man imagined. What God is prepared

  410. for those who love him you have no idea, I

  411. have no idea the great things that God has in

  412. store for us. I go back to this verse, but

  413. discourage all, Lord, is there something to look forward do?

  414. Is there still something that I can I can expect

  415. from you? When everything seems to be like falling apart

  416. and seemed like this is the end of the road

  417. for me. The Bible says, no eye has seen, no

  418. ear has heard, and no mind is able to conceive

  419. what God has in store for you. You have a

  420. great destiny in God. You have a great future waiting

  421. for you and for me. And that's the truth of

  422. God's word. We need to remind ourselves. We need to

  423. declare that every day, Lord, no I has seen what

  424. You're going to do in my life and through my life.

  425. No ear has heard what You're going to do in

  426. me and through me. No eye is in But sometimes

  427. we fail to understand or see that. But here's what

  428. the Holy Spirit does. This thinks God has revealed to

  429. us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even

  430. the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts

  431. except the spirit of that person which is in him.

  432. So also no one comprehens the thoughts of God except

  433. the Spirit of God. You know what the Holy Spirit does.

  434. The Holy Spirit helps us know who God is and

  435. understand his word. Without the Holy Spirit, we will never

  436. understand the Word of God. How many have you tried

  437. reading the Bible before when you're not yet a Christian?

  438. That's what an in the hand. I tried before. Well,

  439. I'm I mean during that time now, so I'm boring.

  440. I never touch I never want to open it. But

  441. when I be a Christian, something happened. When I receive

  442. the Holy Spirit. Every time I read the Bible, it

  443. convicts me, it inspires me, it encourages me, it gives

  444. me a revelation. I mean, I've been reading the Bible

  445. for almost twenty years, but I will read the same

  446. verse and it's amazing how revelation can come out of it.

  447. We cannot exhaust God. God can speak to us. As

  448. we grow, the Word of God grows as well. We

  449. understand more, we see more. The Holy Spirit helps us

  450. know the truth, and the truth set us free. That's

  451. how we grow grow Because there are so many lives

  452. we believe, and we're living the way the world is

  453. expecting us to live. We're patterning our life to the

  454. world rather than to the word of God. So the

  455. Spirit shows us, enlightens us break the lies of the enemy,

  456. and we're set free and we begin to experience the

  457. reality of God in a greater way. Spirit of truth.

  458. You know if without the Spirit, when we read the Bible,

  459. it's like reading Chinese characters, well Akama in Indian, not

  460. unless Chinese. It's like reading Arabic, or it's like reading

  461. German words. There's no way but word the Lord today

  462. a man, there's no word, there's no but you know

  463. what this Holy Spirit does. There's an app today. I

  464. am sure many of you know this. There's an app

  465. that can translate a different language instantly to English. You

  466. just use this download the app that millennium screen on phone.

  467. But whether that's Chinese or Arabic, it will translate to

  468. you in English. Where where you go in the world,

  469. now you can read because of this app. The Holy

  470. Spirit is the spirit of truth. It helps us see,

  471. It helps us understand the works of God, the things

  472. of God, the plans of God, and what God is

  473. doing in us. That's why we can do greater things

  474. that Christian pourh complains. Christian my purpose Elloyd, how can

  475. you say that? Because now I can see, now, I

  476. can hear, now I can understand. That's the spirit of God.

  477. I mean, if you're grateful for the spirit of God.

  478. If you're not a Christian and you're asking, how do

  479. I get that? There's a verse in the Bible that

  480. says you, fathers, even though you are evil, I'm not

  481. talking about you. I'm talking about your Sydney. Though you

  482. you are evil, you know how to give good gifts

  483. to your children. A comline the Kanda perfect madamikan flo

  484. pero a lemupa pandemic began a gift, Sabin, how much

  485. more me, good Father, if you ask for the Holy Spirit,

  486. I'm going to give you. If you ask for the

  487. Holy Spirit, he will give you. Receive it by faith

  488. and rely on the Holy Spirit every single day.

  489. Know.

  490. The good thing about the Holy Spirit, and I'm going

  491. to end, is that the activity of the Holy Spirit

  492. starts not only when we are when we become Christian

  493. or born again, even when we are still far away

  494. from God. The Holy Spirit is already working, you know.

  495. Saying shut down our spiritual faculties our ability to respond

  496. to God. That explains why when you're not yet a Christian.

  497. The things of God doesn't appeal to you. There's no

  498. desire in you. And then you found yourself being convicted

  499. and having the desire to know God and surrendered to him,

  500. and then you got born again. That word born again,

  501. I used to think was a name for religion, and

  502. then I realized it's in the Bible, and it's Jesus

  503. used that word. And it's not to describe a religion.

  504. It's to describe an experience that needs to happen in

  505. order for us to come alive. We need to be

  506. born again. And now that we are reborn, we can

  507. respond to Him. But the Holy Spirit starts that process.

  508. It never started with you or meet started with the

  509. Holy Spirit. The Bible says when the Spirit of God comes,

  510. he will convict the world, convict you of your sin.

  511. No matter how far away you are from God, you

  512. still feel the conviction. That's why we say it's not

  513. an accident that you're in church. You're here today for

  514. the first time in invitkas I promise Io Papa din

  515. Archetama Churchlam so maam Akhanaman. And you might think it's

  516. a it's an accident. No, the Holy Spirit is drawing

  517. you near to Jesus is at work in your life.

  518. And my prayer is that today will be the start

  519. of you recognizing that and making a decision in your heart. God,

  520. I surrender to you. The Holy Spirit works in our

  521. life to bring us back to Him. Last verse and

  522. verse seventeen, it says the world cannot receive because it

  523. neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him.

  524. If you are walking with God, I hope you know him.

  525. I hope you are. You are walking in the power

  526. of the Holy Spirit. I hope you're being led by

  527. the Spirit. I hope you're learning to train your ears

  528. to listen to the voice, not literally, not audible voice,

  529. but when the Holy Spirit speaks to you. One pastor

  530. stead pay attention to the tension when there's tension in

  531. your heart. When you train your heart to be sensitive

  532. to the Spirit of God, you're learning to walk by

  533. the Spirit. You're learning to rely on the Holy Spirit

  534. when you create, when you discern situation, when you make decisions.

  535. I hope we're learning more and more how to be

  536. led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. You know him,

  537. Paul said, the world, I understand they will not receive

  538. because they don't see. But you know him, you know

  539. the Holy Spirit. I hope we will all grow in

  540. our relationship with the Holy Spirit. But if you are

  541. here today and this is your first time in church

  542. and say, how can I believe something I don't see?

  543. But just because something is invincible doesn't mean it's not real.

  544. We're so used to using art device, the Wi Fi

  545. signal to serve the Internet and to send pictures and

  546. watch videos. It's so normal for us today, but that's

  547. unheard of during our time. Maybe coming on page Arlam.

  548. No YouTube, no Internet, no email, no Instagram. This is

  549. unheard of during our time, but now it's so nor normal.

  550. One of the guys in our victory group, one of

  551. his business is making your house a smart home, where

  552. he will connect the control of your air con and

  553. the lock of your doors, and your music and everything

  554. around your house. He will connect it to your phone

  555. so that wherever you are, whether you're inta guy Tai,

  556. you can control your house in New Manila. You can

  557. lock the doors, you can open the eric on, you

  558. can open the TV. We're so used to that that

  559. same that signal we don't see makes everything works The

  560. Holy Spirit is more real than that Wi Fi signal.

  561. The Holy Spirit is actively moving in and through our lives.

  562. He wants to change us and he wants to use us. Amen,

  563. how many of you hear your prayer is to experience

  564. the reality of the Holy Spirit in a greater way.

  565. We want the Holy Spirit in our lives, and I

  566. want to encourage you for us to make room for

  567. the Holy Spirit. Today. When we say make chroom, we

  568. say we just want to give the Holy Spirit the

  569. opportunity to speak and to work in us, to yield,

  570. to surrender. I don't know what from the things I

  571. preach God is speaking to you today. I don't know

  572. what area of your life. God is speaking to you,

  573. revealing things to you. One thing I know, God is

  574. always at work in our lives. God is always doing something.

  575. God is always changing something. Holy Spirit, We welcome you.

  576. Thank you Lord for your word. Thank you for the

  577. truth that set us free. Thank you Lord for helping

  578. us understand the supernatural. Thank you for creating in us

  579. that desire that longing Lord, God, do to know you

  580. better to do greater things. Thank you for reminding us

  581. of who you are and reminding us of who we

  582. are today. Lord, we want what you want for us,

  583. so we welcome you. Have your way, Have your way. Lord.

  584. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is represented by fire. Lord.

  585. I pray, Holy Spirit, I pray that you will come

  586. like a fire that if there's any impurities, and if

  587. there's any sin, if there's anything in our heart that

  588. is not pleasing to you, I pray, Holy Spirit, you

  589. will give us that burning desire to get right with you.

  590. I pray that you will burn the impurities and produce

  591. in us a heart that burns for you. Lord. The

  592. Holy Spirit is also represented with the wind in the scripture,

  593. and Holy Spirit, we ask that you will come like

  594. a wind that will refresh us today. I pray for

  595. those who are tired, to those who are weary, to

  596. those who are confused, to those who are at the crossroad.

  597. Holy Spirit, I pray you will come like a fresh wind.

  598. I pray that you will bring fresh faith, just bring

  599. vision to us, revive us, bring us back to life.

  600. I pray that you will awaken us, Lord, and give

  601. us that desire, that sense of greatness of doing great things, Lord,

  602. because that's part of your plan and destiny for us.

  603. So Lord, have your way, Lord, speak to us today.

  604. Stir up our hearts. Lord, you welcome you, We honor

  605. you in Jesus name. Can we all stand right now?

  606. Can we just stand and we'll ask the music team

  607. to lead us and that we're making a declaration today.

  608. Will make room, amen, will make room for the Holy Spirit.

  609. We'll ask for the Holy Spirit to open our eyes.

  610. Holy Spirit, have your way, open our eyes, open our hearts.

  611. We want more of you, God, we want more of you.

  612. You said if we ask you for the Holy Spirit,

  613. you will give it to us. That's the cry of

  614. our hearts today. Lord, in Jesus' name, Amen and amen.
