-
you in good shape. And now here's your message. So
-
I'm one nineteen a direction of the Spirit of God.
-
We're going to just continue with in this session of
-
healings going what we were talking about last week on
-
Quickened by His Word, the Lord's quickening power. We introduced
-
that by something Ff Bosworth said his tremendous book Christ
-
the Healer, which I highly recommend you you get can
-
get it in the bookstore. But he said that you
-
know a lot of times people come to him and
-
want the answer to why they haven't received their healing,
-
and he said, I can't always answer that, but the
-
good news is you can always have more of the
-
life of God, and that life, that quickening by the
-
Spirit of God is the answer to any situation or
-
any problem that we face being quickened by the Word.
-
And we talked about being quickened by the Word and
-
praying that prayer and that we're going to look at
-
here in the Psalms, the Psalmist said quicken thou me
-
according to thy word. And I hope those of you
-
who are here been praying that every day, waking up
-
and praying it and saying it throughout the day. Quicken
-
thou me by thy word, life me, Lord, life, me
-
receiving his quickening his life. Hallelujah. Let's look at Psalm
-
one nineteen twenty five. My soul cleaveth to the dust.
-
It's a pretty bad situation. His soul is cleaving to
-
the other translations say I lie defeated, I'm completely discouraged.
-
I'm at the point of death. I'm feeling terrible. I
-
couldn't feel worse. He's talking about a bad situation, terrible situation.
-
But then he gives an answer. Right after that, he says,
-
quicken thou me, according to thy word God. I'm feeling
-
at the point of death. I'm feeling discouraged, terrible, distraught,
-
cleaving to the dust. But Lord, I know the answer.
-
Quicken thou me according to thy word, life me, quicken
-
me according to thy word. Do we even begin to
-
comprehend how God desires to strengthen us, to empower us,
-
to quicken us, and to radically alter our lives. Do
-
we even begin to comprehend how much God desires to
-
do that for us. He has made quickening power available
-
to each and every one of us as children, to
-
bring wholeness, completeness, strength and might, as well as healing
-
and wellness to our bodies and mind. This quickening power
-
overcomes the curse, and it overcomes the world, the flesh,
-
and the devil. The quickening power of God, when it
-
is received in sufficient measure, it will change your outlook
-
on life. It will change everything when you fully receive
-
this quickening power again. F. F. Bosworth said, in Christ,
-
the healers said, God wants to do in us all
-
that he did in Christ for us. Pete Rick Renner
-
and his Sparkling Gems from the Greek said, if you
-
want to receive the strategy needed to assure your victory,
-
you must turn your attention to the realm of the spirit,
-
for it is from this realm that you will hear
-
from God. By yourself, you will never conceive a plan
-
that will deliver you. We need God's wisdom, God's strategy,
-
God's plan, and what we're talking about is that strategy.
-
A big part of it his quickening power, his life hallelujah. Life.
-
We see it in the Old Testament, we see it
-
in a New Testament. We're going to look at both tonight.
-
We looked last time at Psalm one nineteen This word
-
quicken has found eleven times in this Psalm, and it's
-
actually found in the in the Hebrew word for it
-
sixteen times in this one psalm. Even times is translated quickening.
-
Other times it's translated life or revive. I want us
-
to just quickly review those. I'm not going to take
-
a lot of time to comment on them for so
-
we can get to some other things. But let's again
-
look at this quickening power again. Psalm one nineteen twenty five.
-
My soul cleaves to Dath, quicken me. According to your word.
-
Quicken me, Lord, quicken me. Lord. Only God can revive
-
us from despair. It will not come from self determination.
-
It will not come from willpower, psychological techniques, or some
-
clever cliche. It will come only from God's word. The
-
word of God brings life, sustains life in his life.
-
We need to realize that the word of God brings life,
-
sustains life, and his life his words are life. Hallelujah.
-
Man shall not live Jesus said by brellaan but by
-
every word comes from the mouth of God. Look at
-
Psalm or we're all these are going to be in
-
Psalm one nineteen for a while. So look at verse seventeen.
-
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, or
-
in the Hebrew be quickened, same Hebrew word co ya,
-
same Hebrew word quickened, that I may quick be quickened,
-
that I may live and keep your word. He says,
-
as I receive that quickening, it enables me to keep
-
your word, to obey your word. And he starts out
-
by saying, Lord, deal bountifully with me, bless me. It
-
kind of reminds me of the Jbez prayer. Bless me, O, Lord,
-
enlarge my borders, increase my territory, that your hand would
-
be with me, that you would keep me from evil,
-
that I would not cause to receive pain fort grint
-
in four ten to eleven. I believe it is the
-
Jabez prayer. He starts out by saying, bless me, Lord,
-
bless me. Here he's saying, deal bountifuly with me, bless me,
-
that I may be quickened and keep your word. Look
-
at verse thirty seven, turn away, excuse me mine eyes
-
from beholding vanity, and quicken thou me in thy way,
-
quicken thou me. That's why we're saying every day, pray,
-
quicken me, Lord, quicken me life me. Hallelujah. There's always
-
more God's quickening in life you can get. It's interesting.
-
Notice how he starts out here. He says, turn away
-
mine eyes from beholding vanity. Now we're gonna look at
-
all sixteen of them tonight. We didn't look at all
-
of them last time. We looked at the majority of them.
-
But look at this, all sixteen occurrences of quickening, and
-
saw one nineteen. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity.
-
The New Living says worthless things, We need to turn
-
away our eyes from worthless things. I think there's any
-
worthless things out there calling for our attention. We could
-
start a list hate and how turn away my eyes
-
from worthless things? From the message Bible says, turn away
-
mine eyes from toys and trinkets, toys and trinkets of
-
the senses of the sense realm. One Trance says, turn
-
I like this, turn away my eyes from any other
-
plan but yours, boy, How much we need that, we
-
need our eyes, our attention, our focus turned away from
-
any other plan but his, and he says the key
-
to that is saying, praying, quicken me, quicken me, life
-
me in your way. Look at verse forty. Behold, I
-
have longed after your precepts, your commands, your word quicken me,
-
quicken me in your righteousness. Hallelujah, be quickened by his righteousness.
-
Verse fifty. I'm not going to elaborate on all of
-
these because we covered many of them last time. If
-
you weren't here, get the message the bookstore, listen to
-
it online. If you were here, I encourage you to
-
re listen to it because you'll get more of the
-
second time. Verse fifty. This is my comfort in my affliction.
-
The word speaks of depression, discouragement, misery, trouble, he says.
-
When I'm in the midst of depression, discouragement, misery, trouble,
-
here's the thing that comforts me. Here's the thing that
-
encourage me. Here's the thing that helps me. Your word
-
hath quickened me. Amen, your word has quickened me. Your
-
word of the translations say has kept me alive, has
-
given me life, has refreshed and revived me, has rejuvenated me.
-
When you're feeling depressed, discouraged, in trouble, in misery, it's
-
so critical, so important to go to the word so
-
it can rejuvenate you. As I said last week, accord
-
in our flesh, that's oftentimes the last thing we feel
-
like doing is going to the word, is going to
-
the word and being quickened and speaking the word. A
-
lot of times that's the last thing we feel like doing,
-
but it's the very thing we must do, we need
-
to do. I had a situation this last week. Let's see,
-
it would have been Saturday morning. I woke up and
-
my eyes were just hurting. They were painful. I don't
-
know why. I went to bed feeling fine, and as
-
a result of that my eyes being hurting so much
-
and being so sore that my head was starting to
-
hurt and throb, and I just did not feel my
-
normal self. I just like, oh, and you know, and
-
and I got up and I'd like washed my face
-
in some cold water, tried to kind of refresh myself,
-
and it was getting worse before it was getting better.
-
I started to hurt more, my head started to hurt more,
-
and you know, I didn't feel like I just felt
-
like this feeling bad, and it's like I need to
-
speak the word. I need to pray against this. I
-
need to speak it. But I didn't want to do that.
-
I didn't even feel like it. It's just like I
-
don't feel like speaking to the mountain. I just want
-
the mountain to go on its own. I don't want
-
to speak have to speak to it. But it's like
-
I knew that wasn't going to get me anywhere, So
-
it was really initially not a lot of function. I
-
just said, I speak to this I pain, this headache, pain,
-
be removed, and the sea be gone in Jesus' name,
-
And then I just start doing it. I just said, Lord,
-
I receive my healing. Now. I speak to the mountain.
-
Be thou removed, Be thou casting to the sea. I
-
speak to this eye pain. I speak to this head pain,
-
be removed, be cast into the sea. I do not
-
doubt in my heart. I believe those things I say
-
come to pass. I have whatever I say. I say,
-
by Jesus stripes, I'm healed. I say this eye pain
-
is gone. I say this head pain is gone. What
-
things forever I desire? When I pray, I believe I
-
receive it, and I'll and I have it. Lord, I
-
pray now, and I believe I receive freedom from eye pain,
-
freedom from headache, pain in Jesus' name, be gone in
-
Jesus' name. I prayed that way awhile, and you know what,
-
it was no better. It didn't change one bit. I
-
mean it was just like but I'd spoken the word
-
and you got to keep your faith on the line.
-
I mean, I'll tell you how bad it was. And
-
even that, know me, I went and took two aspirin,
-
which is very rare for me. I take about as
-
for about maybe once a year if that. But it's like, oh,
-
I got to get some relief from this. And even
-
as I took it, a Lord, my faith is not
-
in this aspirin. My faith is in your word and
-
your spirit. But I just needed to get some kind
-
of relief. You know, I'm not against medicine or doctors
-
or anything like that. Somebody just need to get relief
-
so you can fight. So I took two aspirin, and uh,
-
throughout the morning, it was just I was just kind
-
of plodding along. But by mid afternoon, I get to
-
tell it was it was barely noticeable by that evening,
-
totally gone quick in according to thy word, you know.
-
And at the time when I was speaking to it
-
and releasing my faith, it seems like this isn't doing
-
any good. But you know what it did. It worked, Halleliah.
-
It left, hasn't come back, and it's not going to
-
come back. In Jesus' name, quick in now me according
-
to thy word, Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus. In fact, that's
-
all our son in law, al Michelle's husband, Jamie. The
-
next day, I think it was, he said, so, he said,
-
how you doing. I was like, I'm doing good. He said,
-
I heard you were. You were a little under fighting something.
-
I said, oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm fine. You know,
-
I had to remember it. Gory to God, Hallelujah, quicken
-
thou me according to thy word? Where are we what?
-
Verse fifty All right, thank you all and seventy seven
-
Verse seventy seven, Let your ten mercies come unto me
-
that I may live, Hebrew, be quickened, that I may live,
-
that I might be quickened for your law. Your teaching
-
is my delight? Again is his word your delight? What
-
is your delight? In life? Scripturally? His words should be
-
our delight his word. You should derive more delight from
-
God's word than any other thing in life. I know
-
very few people that I think that applies to, but
-
there are some. Hallelujah. Message Bible says, your revelation is
-
the tune. I dance to Cory to God your revelation.
-
You know you get a good revelation from the word.
-
It's who Cory, it's you dance too, Hallelujah. Your revelation
-
is the tune I dance to Verse eighty eight, quicken
-
me after your loving kindness. Hebrew word has said c
-
H E s E d or h E sed. It's
-
it's a powerful words, one of most important words in
-
the Bible. It speaks of God's covenant faithfulness, God's covenant loyalty,
-
God's covenant fidelity, His loving kindness is mercy. I can't
-
wait to do a series on he said. There's so
-
much power in that. And he says, we are quickened
-
after his has said, after his loving kindness. So shall
-
I keep the testimony of thy mouth. You may notice
-
some things here. Frequently these scriptures talking about quickening, and
-
the result of it is an ability to keep the
-
word a supernatural ability, a help from God to obey
-
the word, to keep the word. Verse eighty nine says forever,
-
O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Verse ninety two.
-
Unless your law had been my delight delight, I should
-
then have perished in mine affliction. He said. If I
-
had not made the Word of God my delight, I
-
were to perished in mine affliction. That's why the Word
-
needs to be our delight. Now those verse ninety three,
-
I will never forget your precepts, for with them, with
-
what his precepts, God's precepts, God's word. Thou hast quickened
-
me going to God. He's quickened us. That quickening power,
-
that life giving power. It primarily comes from the Word,
-
by the spirit. I'll frequently pray, God, quicken me by
-
your word, quicken me by your spirit. When I have
-
my mourning devotions and I read my Bible. One of
-
the things I pray is I say, Lord, as I
-
read your word, I receive the quickening power of your word.
-
I do it on purpose by faith. Actually I pray,
-
I say Lord, I receive the quickening, sanctifying, healing, life giving, transforming,
-
renewing faith, empowering faith, imparting power of your word. I
-
receive wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, the
-
eyes of my understanding being enlightened when you start praying
-
that every day something's going to happen. Just making that
-
faith confession every day. Lord, I receive the quickening, sanctifying
-
and think all the think of all the areas of
-
your life that this covers. And it's just scripture what
-
I'm praying, because this is what the Word does. I
-
could give you scriptures for everyone. Lord, I receive the quickening, sanctifying, healing,
-
life giving, transforming, renewing faith imparting power of your word. Hallelujah,
-
Glory to God, for with them thou hast quickened me.
-
Verse one oh seven. I am afflicted very much. The
-
word means greatly troubled, in terrible pain, suffering, everything is
-
falling apart. One translationation says he says, I'm greatly troubled,
-
meant terrible pain. I'm suffering, everything falling apart. What's the answer,
-
same answer we've been seeing all along. What is it? Glinda,
-
quicken me, quicken me? Oh Lord, according to you? Oh
-
you read ahead. I was reading your lips, I said,
-
she already knows, but she knows it. Quicken me, Oh yeah, wah.
-
According to your word, quicken me. Say it with me,
-
quicken me, Oh Lord. According to your word, say it again,
-
quicken me, Oh Lord. According to your word, say it again,
-
quicken me, Oh Lord, according to your word, raise your
-
right hand to heaven and say, quicken me, Oh Lord,
-
according to your word, glory to God. Do you receive it?
-
Do you believe it? Amen? Quicken me, Lord, according to
-
your word one sixteen. Sustain me or uphold me according
-
to your word, why that I may live, that I
-
may live Hebrew word for quickening, Uphold me according to
-
thy word, that I may be quickened, and let me
-
not be ashamed of my hope. In fact, go ahead
-
and put up if your word that definition for quickening,
-
and then we'll come back. But this is this word,
-
who've been looking at quicken me life met It's a
-
Hebrew word kaya kaiya c ha y a h. Not
-
a Hebrew scholar, but I would say that you know
-
you pronounce it kaya quicken me. It means, notice this,
-
this is from Hebrew dictionaries, that I get to sustain life,
-
to live prosperously, to be restored to life or health.
-
In fact, these are often the brown Driver Briggs Hebrew definitions,
-
which is a very well recognized scholarly work, and brown
-
Driver Briggs says, Kaya means to sustain life. So when
-
you're saying quicken me, you're saying, sustain my life, cause
-
me to live prosperously, to be restored to life and health.
-
Restored to life and health. Now know it's the other
-
definition they give to be quickened from sickness, discouragement, faintness,
-
or death. Whoo, to be quickened you're feeling sick. Don't
-
go too quick you're feeling sick, discouraged, faint, or even
-
approaching death. Life me be quickened from those things? And
-
then loud. A third definition BDB gives to revive and
-
restore to life. Kaya to revive and restore to life,
-
says uphold me according to my word, thy word, that
-
I may KaiA be quickened, be revived live. Look at
-
verse one forty four Psalm one nineteen one forty four.
-
The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting. Give me understanding
-
understanding of what his testimonies, his word, and what will
-
be the result that I may live, that I may
-
be quickened, that I may be revived from sickness and
-
discouragement and faintness and death, that I may be restored
-
to life and health and live prosperously. Hoo hoo, doggies glovery.
-
Look at one forty nine. Hear my voice according under
-
thy loving kindness, O Lord, quicken me, according to thy
-
judgments or justice. Quicken me. Quicken me. Say it again,
-
Quicken me, O Lord, quicken me. O Lord. All right,
-
look at one fifty four, plead my cause and deliver me.
-
Quicken me. How same thing he's been saying all along,
-
according to thy word. Do you think it's important that
-
we get into the word and get the word into us,
-
because that's where the quickening comes. That's the source of
-
the quickening. That's what God by his spirit is going
-
to use to quicken us and revive us from discouragement, sickness, faintness, death,
-
to restore us to life and health and to causes
-
to live prosperously. I think it's worth getting into the
-
word and getting the word into us, to read it,
-
to study it, to meditate it, to confess it. Hallelujah.
-
Oh I so long for people to get a hold
-
of just going to bed at night and having a
-
scripture and just lay there and meditate it. Forget about
-
going to sleep, don't even be concerned about. Just lay
-
there and listen and meditate the Word, and you'll drift
-
off to deep, RESTful sleep. The devil would he won't
-
fight you on your sleep. He'd rather you sleep than
-
meditate the word. So just don't even you know how
-
people have trouble getting to sleep. Forget about trying to
-
get to sleep. Just meditate the Word and ponder the
-
word of the Word, and applied to yourself. Oh, you'll
-
enjoy deep, deep, RESTful, peaceful sleep, and you wake up revived, quickened, hallelujah.
-
The quickening is by the word one fifty six Verse
-
one fifty six. Great are your tender mercies, oh Lord,
-
Quicken me according to your ordinances or your judgments. Quicken
-
me one fifty nine. Consider how I love your precepts.
-
Quicken me, oh Lord, according to your cassad your mercy,
-
your loving kindness, your covenant, faithfulness and loyalty. Quicken me, Lord,
-
according to that word, and according to that loving kindness.
-
Quicken me. Quicken me one sixty five. Great peace, Great peace.
-
What's the word for peace Shallom. And we've talked about
-
that Shallom, wholeness, completeness, wellness, healing, everything you need. It's
-
in Shallom. And notice he says, not just shalom, but
-
great shalom. Have they who love your law or your word?
-
Great shallom? Have they love your word? And nothing shall
-
offend them or stumble them, nothing nothing, one seventy five.
-
Let my soul live Kayah be quickened, and it shall pray.
-
And let your judgments or your ordinances help me. As
-
we receive that quickening, it causes us to praise him
-
one thirty eight. Psalm one thirty eight. We're moving away
-
from Psalone nineteen Now Psalm one thirty eight, Verse seven
-
Psalm one thirty eight seven. Thou I walk in the
-
midst of trouble, Thou wilt revive me, Thou wilt quicken me,
-
even though I'm in the midst of trouble. Somebody testified
-
to me this week. They're talking about a situation where
-
they work. They said, I was surrounded by trouble, and
-
I just went into there and I kept saying, Lord,
-
quicken me, quicken me in this situation, and the Lord
-
carried him through it. Victoriously, Hallelujah. Quicken me. Though I'm
-
surrounded by trouble, you will quicken me. You'll stretch forth
-
your hand against the rat to mine enemies in your
-
right hand shall save me. Psalm one three, Psalm one
-
forty three, Verse eleven. Quicken me, Oh Lord, for your namesake,
-
quicken me for your namesake, For your righteousness shall bring
-
my soul out of trouble. Your righteousness shall bring my
-
soul out trouble. We're there in Psalms. Go back to
-
Psalm twenty seven. We'll get two verses quickly here. Now
-
I want to move into the New Testament. Psalm twenty seven,
-
Verse one. The Lord is my light and my salvation.
-
Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of
-
my life. This is uh, the noun or the adjective
-
form this Hebrew word kahi. It's a derivative of kayah.
-
And he's saying, the Lord is the strength of my life.
-
The Lord is the strength of my life, my living.
-
Of whom shall I be afraid? Now? Look at the
-
key that he gives us here of Psalm thirty four.
-
Psalm thirty four, verse twelve. What man is he who
-
desires life Kahi this quickening. Who is it that desires
-
this life, this quickening and loves many days or a long,
-
strong life that he may see good? And he gives
-
us some clues here. Keep your tongue from evil, in
-
your lips from speaking God. Don't speak contrary to the
-
word of God. Speak in line with the word of God.
-
Don't speak doubt and unbelief and fear and death and
-
sickness and defeat and bondage, which is how most people speak.
-
If you listen to them, they rehearse their problems and
-
talk about their problems over and over and over again,
-
till their problems become bigger than the problem solver. Speak
-
according to God's words, speak his promises. He says, you
-
want life, Keep your tongue from evil, your lips from
-
speaking God, depart from evil, do good, seek shalom, and
-
pursue that shalom. Glory to God. All right. Go to
-
New Testament Gospel of John, chapter six. Gospel of John,
-
verse chapter six, verse sixty three. Jesus speaking here, he
-
knows what he's talking about. John six sixty three. It
-
is the spirit that quickedness. That's why I pray Lord
-
quicken me by your spirit and by your word. It's
-
the spirited quickens. And we just saw what he uses
-
the quickeness the word. It's the spirited quickness. The flesh
-
Prophet's nothing. They'll notice the words that I speak to you.
-
They are spirit and they are life. Oh, I trust
-
you're getting a hold of how important the word is
-
in your life. John Chapter ten, John chapter ten, Verse ten.
-
The thief cometh not but to steal and to kill
-
and destroy. Jesus said, I am come that they might
-
have life life Greek word zoee, the Greek counterpart to
-
the Hebrew kahi or kayah. This is the New Testament. Now,
-
he says, I'm come that they might have life. Remember
-
when we looked at words of life a few weeks ago,
-
we defined life zoee. Put up on the screen. If
-
you word zoe, z oe, And here's some definitions of
-
zoe intensive life, life in an absolute sense, fayre the
-
absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs
-
to God. Life real and genuine. And now I really
-
like vines expository Dictionary New Testament words. He says, zoee
-
is life in the absolute sense. Notice this life life
-
is God has it can we even comprehend it. Jesus
-
is saying that I came that you might have life
-
as God has it. Now, if we really got that,
-
abody be jumping up and shouting and running around the building.
-
He says, I came that you might have life as
-
God has it. But notice it says it's a mite.
-
He didn't say it's automatic. He says you might have it,
-
it's available, but we've got to apprehend it. Life as
-
God has it expresses Zoe expresses all the highest and
-
best which the saints possessing God. Whoa go to Phijians
-
chapter two, Ephesians chapter two. You don't mind, it's going
-
to a lot of scriptures tonight. I mean, we do
-
believe the Bible here right, hallelujah. We're not one of
-
these churches that preaches a whole sermon, not even uses
-
the Bible. Uses one verse and then you can put
-
your Bible away. Phesians two to one. And you have
-
he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins, You
-
haffy quickened. Say this with me me halfy quickened. Say
-
it again, me half he quicken one more time, me
-
halfy quicken, who were dead? We were dead, but he
-
quickened us. He lifed us. Look at verse four. But God,
-
who was rich in mercy for his great love with
-
which he loved us even when we were dead in sins,
-
half quickened us. Who He's quickened us. He's quickened us
-
together with Christ. Verse five. He's quickened us together with Christ.
-
Quickened together with Christ. He's quickened us by grace. Are
-
you saved through faith? Verse six, And has raised us
-
up together, made us sit together in heavenly places at Christ.
-
There's so much here. You preach a whole sermon on
-
any one of these verses. He's raised us up together,
-
made us sit together in heavenly plays in Christ, the
-
seeding of authority, the seating of dominion, the seeding of
-
life as God has it Amen. Chapter three, Verse sixteen.
-
Paul is praying here one of these tremendous Pauline prayers
-
by the Holy Ghost, and he says that He would
-
grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to
-
be strengthened with might by His spirit in the inner man.
-
That's why I said at the beginning, do we even
-
begin to comprehend how God desires to strengthen us empower us,
-
quicken us and radically alter our lives. He says that
-
God would grant us to be strengthened with might by
-
his spirit. What is that quickening in the inner man?
-
It's available, we just need to apprehend it. Look at
-
verse nineteen. And to know the love of Christ which
-
passes knowledge. I'll notice this, We read this, we pass
-
right over it. Do we even stop to think about
-
what it's saying? That you might be filled with all
-
the fullness of God. I want to dare say that
-
or preach that on my own. For what in the Bible?
-
It seems like that's blasphemous to say you can be
-
filled with the fullness of God. That's what the Bible says,
-
that you might be filled with the fullness of God.
-
Look at it in the amplified That's what God wants
-
for us. What is this talking about, talking about this quickening,
-
this importation of zoe of life. Notice what the amplified
-
Bible says that you may really come to know practically
-
through experience for yourself, the love of Christ with far
-
surpasses mere knowledge without experience. Now notice this, that you
-
might be filled through all your being. I think that'll
-
take care of any sickness or disease or oppression, that
-
you might be filled through all your being under all
-
the fullness of God. Look at this, may have the
-
richest measure of the divine presence and become a body holy,
-
filled and flooded with God himself. Whoa can a headache
-
stand up to that? Can cancer stand up to that? No?
-
Nothing can stand up to that? A body wholly filled
-
and flooded with God himself. That's how Jesus walked. He
-
was anointed, he had the spirit, and he was filled
-
and flooded with God himself. When he would touch lepers
-
and contagious diseases that couldn't even touch him, he was
-
filled and flooded with God himself. Somebody says, well, that
-
was Jesus. The spirit of God is praying that you
-
and I become that way. Oo. Look at Clausuans chapter two,
-
and we'll bring it in for a landing here Clausians
-
chapter two, verse thirteen. We'll look at a few more
-
Clauss two. Team take it up next week as we
-
end this session of healing. So we've got one more
-
session next week. And I felt impressed again to talk
-
about life me next week and then we're gonna take
-
a three week break and we're gonna look at a tremendous,
-
tremendous series from David Barton on Foundations of Freedom. It's
-
David Barton and Congresswoman Michelle Bachman and Representative Rick Green
-
and Glenn Beck and doctor Carrol Swain and others. And
-
this is so enlightening. I mean, I really encourage you
-
to come and see this. You're gonna learn a lot.
-
And the very first one is about the foundation and
-
the role of the Bible in the beginning of this nation.
-
And when you hear how these founder, how these young
-
kids six and four years old, he he documents David
-
Barton four year olds that read through the whole Bible
-
at four years old, six year olds at knew Greek
-
because they didn't limit themselves and they weren't on television
-
all the time and on their computers. I mean, these
-
are some of these founders. They became ambassadors to other
-
nations at thirteen and fourteen years old. That's historical fact.
-
What was going on. They were quickened by the word
-
because the textbook in their schools, government schools, public schools
-
number one was the Bible. Number two was Watt's hymnal.
-
That was their textbook. It wasn't the sex ed stupidity
-
that Nicky's been informing us about. And they didn't have
-
anybody shooting each other either in schools and all this
-
nonsense and teenagers getting pregnant and all this stuff. They
-
were quickened by the word, Well, that's in a couple
-
of weeks. Plan on being here two weeks from tonight.
-
But next week we're going to finish this off. Where
-
am I? Well, I know I'm in I'm in north Manchester,
-
almost said San Louis Abyssobo. Maybe I don't know where
-
I'm at. I'm in North Manchester, Indiana. Where am I
-
in the Bible? Two thirteen? Did we read it? We did?
-
I don't remember reading it. We didn't read this, did we, Jeff?
-
Did we read it? No? And you being dead in
-
your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh half, he
-
quickened together with Jesus, having forgiven you a few trusts, passes,
-
some trespasses, the majority of your trespasses all trespasses Halloween?
-
Can we get in three more? Three more scriptions? Go
-
to Romans Romans Chapter eight. Romans Chapter eight, verse eleven,
-
Romans eight eleven. But if the spirit of Him that
-
raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
-
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken
-
your mortal body. That's this body right here, not your
-
spirit body, your mortal body, by his spirit that dwells
-
in you. Now, yes, we know this is talking about
-
being raised up at the end, but it's also talking
-
about a quickening right now. We've seen too many scriptures
-
to confirm that there's a quickening right now, being quickened.
-
I typically, oftentimes, if I feel myself being under attack
-
with some kind of sickness or something, I just say, Lord,
-
I thank you you quicken me, quicken me by your spirit.
-
I say, my mortal flesh is quickened right now. Hallelujah.
-
Second Corinthians, we won't turn there, but sen Quentans four
-
ten eleven talks about being quickened in your mortal body,
-
quickened in your mortal body. Claim that quickening, hallelujah. Look
-
at Roman five verse ten, Romans five ten. For if
-
when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
-
the death of his son, noticed this much more, say
-
much more, much more, Say it again. Much more being reconciled,
-
we shall be saved by his life. Now we miss
-
what it's truly saying. You'll get it now after what
-
we just talked about. It reads much more. Being reconciled,
-
we shall be It's not just talking about his earthly life,
-
much more being reconciled. We shall be saved by his zoa.
-
We shall be saved, healed, delivered, set free, made whole
-
by his zoe, his quickening, his impartation. In fact, the
-
little Greek reads, we shall be saved in his life,
-
in his life. Now, by his earthly life, we shall
-
be saved, He'll delivered, set free in his o way
-
life as God has it. Look at verse seventeen, and
-
will close, for if by one man's offense, death iin
-
by one much more, say it with me much more,
-
one more time, much more. Look at the person next
-
to you and tell them much more. Look at the
-
person on the other side, and tell them much more,
-
much more. They here receive abundance, abundance of grace, not
-
a little trickle of grace. You didn't receive a little
-
teaspoon of grace. You received abundance of grace, and the
-
gift you didn't earn it, You didn't deserve it. It's a
-
gift of righteousness. Shall rein in zoe way by one
-
Christ Jesus, we reign in this life. By the zoay
-
life of God, we reign in life. Now listen to this.
-
This word reign, It means to hold supreme power or authority,
-
to dominate, to prevail to it speaks of uncontrolled dominion.
-
It says we, the believers who have received abundance of
-
grace and the gift of righteousness, shall reign, shall hold
-
supreme power and authority, shall dominate, prevail, and have uncontrolled
-
dominion in this life by the life the Zoe of God,
-
by the quickening of God through Jesus Christ, by Jesus Christ.
-
Zoe that comes by Jesus Christ causes us to reign
-
or to God God. That's why the scripture says we
-
are to be more than conquerors world overcomers where the
-
exercise dominion. Doesn't that harken back to mankind's mandate. Adam
-
and Eve gave them in the garden. He said, rule
-
and have dominion, have dominion. Well, they sold out the
-
Satan and lost it. But Jesus defeated death, Hell and
-
the Great defeated Satan and quickened us and gave us dominion.
-
He said, I give you authority to tread on serpents
-
and scorpions and overall the power of the enemy. And
-
nothing shall by any means hurt you. Hallelujah. Reigning in life,
-
strengthened by might, saved in his life. We'll stop there.
-
Let's stand corey to God. Let's just thank him for
-
his quickening, thank him for his life, thank him for
-
his power. Thank you him for his strengthening us and
-
quickening us and empowering us that yoke destroying burden, removing
-
anointing of God. Oh, go ahead, just do it on
-
your own. Just thank him right now. Lord, Thank you
-
for quickening us. Thank you for empowering us. Thank you,
-
Lord God. Quicken us life us. Thank you for dominion,
-
for authority. Thank you that we reign in zoe way.
-
Bye Jesus Christ, Oh Lord, quicken us, Quicken our bodies,
-
quicken our minds. Quicken us, Lord God, Oh, by the
-
in dwelling spirit of God, according to your word. Quicken
-
us by your word and by your spirit. Say that
-
with me. Quicken me by your word and by your
-
spirit again, quicken me by your word and by your spirit.
-
I raise your right hand to heaven. Now raise your
-
left hand to heaven. See it's not that hard, and say,
-
quicken me by your word and by your spirit. Again,
-
quicken me by your word and by your spirit. Hallelijah,
-
Glory to God. Let's sing this song that God would
-
be glorified. This everything we've talked about is that God
-
might be glorified in and through us. Oh, we want
-
to bring him glory by living a life that's honoring
-
to him and is a witness to him. Sing this
-
with me, God be glorified in us glory. Thank you
-
for listening. We hope that you enjoyed today's episode. Don't
-
forget to share and subscribe to this podcast for more.
-
God bless you all.
