-
And now here's your message, the good Jesus Experience.
-
You are designed to receive from God the life of
-
his son Jesus Christ, and through the life of Christ
-
in you.
-
You will live in the world around you.
-
Now Here is doctor gary Ve Wetsde.
-
But at least I know to quit every day. The
-
problem is many of us don't know to quit. Every
-
day we go along life, we try to convince people
-
we are right, and that's real dangerous because we never
-
even get the opportunity of knowing what God wanted. And
-
then we lead everybody down the primrose path of own ignorance.
-
And we wonder why they're not too excited over the
-
program when they get down the road a while, because
-
it's not what God's doing. So look at your day, say, well,
-
that's it. Your whole prayer. Time's about shot. Now went
-
out to window. Man. Everything you thought you were gonna
-
believe God for just got mixed. Here's God little check
-
out you put the bigger raser on it, and then
-
you kind of throw you up your arms and you say, well,
-
what do I pray? Well, we have to go to
-
a general understanding of what God's will is. If I
-
know that it's not my ways, I know it's not
-
my plans, I know it's not my thoughts, and I
-
know that I'm under divine restraint, and I know that
-
God is not going to bless the way I want
-
things to go, then what is his will? First of all,
-
we need to know that God's word has been settled
-
as his will in heaven. This is simple, even though
-
it might not seem simple. But yet it is simple.
-
Psalm one, nineteen, verse eighty nine. It says forever, Oh Lord,
-
thy word is settled in heaven. Now, when you think
-
about the settling of the word of God in heaven,
-
then the word settled in heaven is his will. Thank God,
-
we've got the word on the earth. Hebrews, chapter six,
-
verse thirteen through eighteen. Once I settle in my heart
-
that his word is his will, it's his general will.
-
It's not very specific. It's like it does not tell
-
me exactly what to do on a Tuesday afternoon at
-
three o'clock. How many of you all understand it's not specific.
-
I do not know from the Bible what to do
-
on Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. But I definitely know
-
what not to do by what the word says, right.
-
I mean, I'm not to be coveteous. I'm not to
-
run around with somebody else's wife. I'm not to you know,
-
there's a few things at least I know not to do.
-
So I got those door shut. But I may not
-
know exactly what to do, and yet I might have
-
a general of what to do. So let's go on
-
with this. Everything that God's word generally reveals must also
-
be affirmed in other scriptures. Let me just show you here.
-
In Hebrews, chapter six, verse thirteen through eighteen, it says,
-
for when God made promise to Abraham, because he could
-
swear by no greater, he swear by himself, saying, surely blessing,
-
I will bless THEE, and MUTI applying I will multiply THEE,
-
meaning that I'm going to say it, and I'm affirming
-
that I said it. Now, when you think about God,
-
God not only says something and then he affirms it
-
again in his word, and it says so after he
-
had patiently endured, he obtained the promise for men verily
-
swear by greater and an oath of confirmation is given
-
to them, an end of all strife for somebody. It's
-
like if somebody in the court of law states this
-
is true, and somebody comes in and says, I affirm
-
that it's true. The discussion is ended because you have
-
two witnesses that agree on a particular item. The Word
-
of God acts in itself as its own affirmation and confirmation.
-
So one scripture says this is true. Another scripture comes
-
up and says, I affirm it's true. Another scripture comes
-
up and says, I amen, it's true, And you have
-
an affirmation of truth confirmed with the Word of God
-
in among itself. That's why you can never take one
-
scripture in its own sense and build an entire doctrine
-
around it. What you end up with is many times
-
a heresy or a man's opinion of the Word of
-
God God. And therefore you don't get the truth of
-
the Word of God in manifestation. So it must be
-
by a multiplicity of witness of other scriptures. For men
-
verily swear by the Greater, and an oath of confirmation
-
is an end to them to all strife. Wherein God,
-
willing more abundantly to show to the errors of promise
-
the immutability of his counsel, he confirmed it by an
-
oath that by two immutable things in which it was
-
impossible for God to lie. We might have a strong
-
consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon
-
the hope that is set before us. Now think about
-
this statement. God says, I am promising this. Another scripture says,
-
I affirm I promise this. Another scripture says a mend
-
to the promise. We then have such a hope to
-
go in and say, God, I know this is what
-
you want. But until you have that knowledge of the word,
-
you'll not have even a general scope of what God
-
wants to have done. You'll only have what do you
-
think you should have done and believe God will bless it.
-
And you already found out God's not gonna bless it.
-
So as we look at this, I want you to
-
open up your heart right now, and I want you
-
to make a declaration before the Lord with me, and
-
just say with me, your word is absolute. You affirm
-
it with other scripture, and I go in with hope
-
of assurance of your word in Jesus' name. Amen. Now
-
think about it. How many of you are standing on
-
a scripture but you do not have several other complementary
-
scriptures that really deal with it. How do you haven't
-
even done a word study on a generality of theme
-
to even know what the will of God is. Let
-
me give you an example. How many of you are
-
in church tonight? What is called church? Right? How many
-
of you at least have four distinct scripture understandings of
-
what the church is. Then you realize that why you're
-
here is so you can work. You realize this is
-
employment training. This is not to give you a lyft
-
on a Wednesday. This is job training for task function
-
in the Kingdom of God. So you're under discipline training
-
to be more proficient in your service for God's government.
-
That's called church because God gives apostle prophets, pastors teach
-
an evangelists for the perfecting the saints or of equipping
-
the saints to do the work of the ministry. So
-
guess what you're being employed tonight? Hallelujah. Now, so you're
-
going to be able to walk around after this and
-
you find some other folks that are trying to get
-
their will done, and God to bless it, you can
-
help them. After that, you say, oh, my friend, do
-
you realize the reason of your frustration level is because
-
you're under divine restraint from God? And you say, no, it's
-
the devil, Say no, it isn't is not the enemy
-
that is your stumbling block in this situation. This is
-
God keeping you from a major shipwreck in your future.
-
And you can help them get on the right course
-
of life. Does that makes sense? And you can find
-
a multiple of scriptures to help them make that right decision,
-
because the will of God is always confirmed in his
-
word and it is affirmed one scripture to another scripture
-
to another scripture. Now, until you have that type of
-
a panoramic biblical view of knowing what the Word says
-
on a particular issue in an item, you'll always stand
-
in doubt of what you should do about it. Does
-
that make sense. Let's just talk about hope. How many
-
you ever got into a depressed state of mind where
-
you because of a situation not occurring or accomplishing the
-
way that you would have hoped it would have taken place.
-
You find yourself reacting to the information and being a
-
little negative mentally, a little hopeless in your motivation, and
-
disgusted in a real sense about what's going on. You
-
ever been there? Now? What does the word say to
-
do about it? What did David say about when his
-
own soul was disquieted? He spoke to it. He says,
-
why are you disquieted within me? Oh my soul? Hope
-
that in God? Now, how many of you ever prayed
-
that God would send somebody to help you out of
-
your distress? Where does it say pray that somebody comes
-
and pats you on the back, pets you on the head,
-
and scratches you a little bit and make you feel
-
better about your misery? You know what it says to
-
do about your own discouragement? David encouraged himself and the
-
Lord his God, and that's when everybody wanted to stone
-
him a zick lag. What is the affirmed word to do?
-
What is the will of God? When you're discouraged? Encourage yourself,
-
count it all, joy, remove the oppression, break through the
-
barrier of your negative mindset, and get on with a program.
-
Rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice ever more but how many
-
of his whole opinion party want to have a prayer
-
meeting over it. That's the wrong action. So this is
-
what you pray with me my misery. Sure, get excited,
-
count it all joy. Let's pray. See the will of
-
God in prayer first, is the affirmed word of God,
-
and just simply saying that is the will that's going
-
to be done ended. No more discussion, no more question,
-
no more dispute. It's going to be done. How are
-
you today? I'm excited. I am so excited I can
-
hardly stand myself. But it looks like a lot of
-
things are going wrong. I decided not to look at
-
the natural what about you? But it doesn't appear things
-
are going wrong. Things that appear at they're temporal. Things
-
that don't appear they're eternal, They say, But what about
-
the things that you're looking at? Oh? The only thing
-
I fix my eyes on is Jesus, the Author and
-
finishing my faith, who for the joy set before him,
-
dured to cross the spies of shame, set down at
-
the right hand of the Father. I likewise, like him,
-
endure every situation, set down at the throne of revelation
-
of that which is purpose. I'm telling you, I am
-
so excited. It looks like everybody's walking away. Though they
-
walk away, Yet he will never deny me. I'll tell you,
-
the word of the Lord is my standing of life.
-
Say what about when people speak words? Why do the
-
heathen rage? And people imagine? The main thing? The Word
-
of God is everlasting and enduring forever. Say what about
-
your failures? I can't remember them. The blood has already
-
washed it all. Helen Ya, what are we doing. We're
-
simply taking an affirm truth and saying that's the will.
-
He said, Well, I need that will. I need that
-
God show it to me. He already did. Is called
-
the Bible. Just find a few scriptures that say the
-
same thing and get excited about it. Hell, I know you,
-
all right, pray those scriptures. They'll have awesome deliverance in
-
your life. How do you just feel the lift when
-
all I did was quote a few scriptures? I mean
-
that's all hell ann Yah number three here, always look
-
to ge and words to find God's will. If you
-
question about the will of God, just look at Jesus life.
-
It's like if all of a sudden family pressure is
-
on you to do something contrary to what you know
-
God has directed to be done. Look at Jesus' life.
-
How did he handle it? When his mother and his
-
brothers and his sisters came and Jesus was teaching in
-
the house, and they came in and said, Jesus, your
-
mama'st call on you. And he says, who is my mother,
-
my brothers and my sisters? But they who do the
-
will of my father. Man. He nailed it bam, so
-
that he could accomplish the objectives of God and not
-
fall prey to the manipulation of a concern of a
-
family environment the will of God. And so many of
-
us then play the manipulation game because we don't sever
-
what is the will and what isn't the will, So
-
we play into the hand of the toying of emotion
-
and mind and motivation, and we play into the how
-
you all know, the political arena of just family stuff.
-
Forget somebody else's influence, You got it in your own family's.
-
Jesus life, that's how he handled life. How did he
-
handle life? When his disciples were walking away listening to
-
the voice of the enemy, turns to Peter, he says,
-
get thee behind me, satan. Now you talk about that
-
to one of your friends in the Lord and they
-
start chirping up some trash out of their mouth. Just
-
deal with it, bam, don't play games with it. Just
-
deal with it. Say man, that's a devil talking through you.
-
We're going to break this thing. In Jesus name. I'll
-
tell you to be more of a friend to them
-
than ever before. People get goofy on, you back them
-
up the side of the face. Hey, you're goofy. I mean,
-
help you out of your squirrely, goofy brain. Let me
-
deliver you. I tell you. You keep going down this avenue,
-
you're going to be shipwrecked in about three months. Let's intervene.
-
Let's get you set free. If people say I thought
-
you're going to be my friend, I am, and says
-
faithful of the wounds of a friend. Let me give
-
you a few all right now. Not that you're malicious
-
and violent against the individual. You just want to help them.
-
The boy I have had more friends like that, I'd
-
make less mistakes. How many you would have more friends
-
like that, you'd have less mistakes. That's how you relate
-
to people. Look at you. Never say help somebody sometime
-
don't always listen to their complaint. You might have an
-
answer for them. Think about it. John One. One in
-
the beginning was the word, The word was with God.
-
The word was good. I'm not talking about hitting the
-
person on the face, obviously. So they don't go taking
-
these things literal. Alleluiah boy. Some people walk around do
-
any kind of crazy thing, all right. John Chapter six,
-
verse thirty eight. Jesus says, for I came down from
-
heaven not to do my own will, but the will
-
of Him that sent me. That settles it. When Jesus
-
and all the writings about him were there, he did
-
the will of God. So what's the will of God?
-
Like the will of God? One day is feed the multitude.
-
The will of God another day is heal one person
-
to the pool. The will of God is to speak
-
the word and everybody gets offended. The will of God
-
is to reach everybody and make them all happy. The
-
will of God is in the midst of somebody who
-
denies you. You give them the same rights as everybody
-
who is in love with you. He said, Well, the
-
will of God is always to have favor, not always.
-
How many of you know Jesus preached some messages drove
-
everybody away, and even the disciples. He said, basically, there's
-
the door. If you want it, walk quick. And they said,
-
wait a minute, wait minute, Where would we go for
-
these words? He says, Oh, if you want them, then stay,
-
If not, then go? How many you think, boy, that's
-
that can't be the will of God? But it was
-
the will of God? Does that make sense? So sometimes
-
you may not be the most popular family member, and
-
then all of a sudden they get a breakthrough and
-
you're the shining star of the home. I just knew
-
you'd be standing in prayer for me. You think, yeah,
-
you cuss me out last month, but now you believe
-
that I'm a saint of some sort. All right. Now,
-
You see it doesn't always have this thing that's all
-
exciting all the time. And when you look at Jesus' life,
-
he went through it all. He had the people he
-
was called to serve and train deny him. He had
-
them questioning, try to manipulate him, get over on him
-
and get a position from him that he wasn't about
-
to give it that time. I mean, you know this
-
is the will of God. Matthew eight, verse one through three.
-
It says, And when he was come down from the mountain,
-
great multitudes followed him, and behold, there came a leper
-
and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can
-
make me clean. Jesus put forth his hand and touched him, saying,
-
I will. Now that settles it. If somebody says to
-
Jesus about the healing arena, if you are willing, you can,
-
Jesus said, I will, then he's willing to heal. Find
-
scripture that deals with Jesus' life and settle issues in
-
your life. It'll generally settle the issue. So if somebody says,
-
will God heal me, then your answer is ask him
-
if he will. Because the leper went to Jesus and said,
-
will you heal me? You can? Yes, Then the question
-
comes down to will you heal me? Yes, he will.
-
How do you know he will? Because his words said
-
he would. So therefore is it as well? Yes, it says,
-
well why because it was jesus life. He willingly walked
-
in the will of God. Do that makes sense? It
-
makes life very easy. You could really most of your
-
prayer life would almost be settled if you just studied
-
the life of Jesus. And the topical text of the
-
Word of God, and understood the complementary scriptures that deal
-
with things, and just prayed the Word. You'd find yourself
-
with awesome insights and revelation.
