  4. We hope that this podcast finds you in good shape.

  5. And now here's your message, the good Jesus Experience.

  6. You are designed to receive from God the life of

  7. his son Jesus Christ, and through the life of Christ

  8. in you.

  9. You will live in the world around you.

  10. Now Here is doctor gary Ve Wetsde.

  11. But at least I know to quit every day. The

  12. problem is many of us don't know to quit. Every

  13. day we go along life, we try to convince people

  14. we are right, and that's real dangerous because we never

  15. even get the opportunity of knowing what God wanted. And

  16. then we lead everybody down the primrose path of own ignorance.

  17. And we wonder why they're not too excited over the

  18. program when they get down the road a while, because

  19. it's not what God's doing. So look at your day, say, well,

  20. that's it. Your whole prayer. Time's about shot. Now went

  21. out to window. Man. Everything you thought you were gonna

  22. believe God for just got mixed. Here's God little check

  23. out you put the bigger raser on it, and then

  24. you kind of throw you up your arms and you say, well,

  25. what do I pray? Well, we have to go to

  26. a general understanding of what God's will is. If I

  27. know that it's not my ways, I know it's not

  28. my plans, I know it's not my thoughts, and I

  29. know that I'm under divine restraint, and I know that

  30. God is not going to bless the way I want

  31. things to go, then what is his will? First of all,

  32. we need to know that God's word has been settled

  33. as his will in heaven. This is simple, even though

  34. it might not seem simple. But yet it is simple.

  35. Psalm one, nineteen, verse eighty nine. It says forever, Oh Lord,

  36. thy word is settled in heaven. Now, when you think

  37. about the settling of the word of God in heaven,

  38. then the word settled in heaven is his will. Thank God,

  39. we've got the word on the earth. Hebrews, chapter six,

  40. verse thirteen through eighteen. Once I settle in my heart

  41. that his word is his will, it's his general will.

  42. It's not very specific. It's like it does not tell

  43. me exactly what to do on a Tuesday afternoon at

  44. three o'clock. How many of you all understand it's not specific.

  45. I do not know from the Bible what to do

  46. on Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock. But I definitely know

  47. what not to do by what the word says, right.

  48. I mean, I'm not to be coveteous. I'm not to

  49. run around with somebody else's wife. I'm not to you know,

  50. there's a few things at least I know not to do.

  51. So I got those door shut. But I may not

  52. know exactly what to do, and yet I might have

  53. a general of what to do. So let's go on

  54. with this. Everything that God's word generally reveals must also

  55. be affirmed in other scriptures. Let me just show you here.

  56. In Hebrews, chapter six, verse thirteen through eighteen, it says,

  57. for when God made promise to Abraham, because he could

  58. swear by no greater, he swear by himself, saying, surely blessing,

  59. I will bless THEE, and MUTI applying I will multiply THEE,

  60. meaning that I'm going to say it, and I'm affirming

  61. that I said it. Now, when you think about God,

  62. God not only says something and then he affirms it

  63. again in his word, and it says so after he

  64. had patiently endured, he obtained the promise for men verily

  65. swear by greater and an oath of confirmation is given

  66. to them, an end of all strife for somebody. It's

  67. like if somebody in the court of law states this

  68. is true, and somebody comes in and says, I affirm

  69. that it's true. The discussion is ended because you have

  70. two witnesses that agree on a particular item. The Word

  71. of God acts in itself as its own affirmation and confirmation.

  72. So one scripture says this is true. Another scripture comes

  73. up and says, I affirm it's true. Another scripture comes

  74. up and says, I amen, it's true, And you have

  75. an affirmation of truth confirmed with the Word of God

  76. in among itself. That's why you can never take one

  77. scripture in its own sense and build an entire doctrine

  78. around it. What you end up with is many times

  79. a heresy or a man's opinion of the Word of

  80. God God. And therefore you don't get the truth of

  81. the Word of God in manifestation. So it must be

  82. by a multiplicity of witness of other scriptures. For men

  83. verily swear by the Greater, and an oath of confirmation

  84. is an end to them to all strife. Wherein God,

  85. willing more abundantly to show to the errors of promise

  86. the immutability of his counsel, he confirmed it by an

  87. oath that by two immutable things in which it was

  88. impossible for God to lie. We might have a strong

  89. consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon

  90. the hope that is set before us. Now think about

  91. this statement. God says, I am promising this. Another scripture says,

  92. I affirm I promise this. Another scripture says a mend

  93. to the promise. We then have such a hope to

  94. go in and say, God, I know this is what

  95. you want. But until you have that knowledge of the word,

  96. you'll not have even a general scope of what God

  97. wants to have done. You'll only have what do you

  98. think you should have done and believe God will bless it.

  99. And you already found out God's not gonna bless it.

  100. So as we look at this, I want you to

  101. open up your heart right now, and I want you

  102. to make a declaration before the Lord with me, and

  103. just say with me, your word is absolute. You affirm

  104. it with other scripture, and I go in with hope

  105. of assurance of your word in Jesus' name. Amen. Now

  106. think about it. How many of you are standing on

  107. a scripture but you do not have several other complementary

  108. scriptures that really deal with it. How do you haven't

  109. even done a word study on a generality of theme

  110. to even know what the will of God is. Let

  111. me give you an example. How many of you are

  112. in church tonight? What is called church? Right? How many

  113. of you at least have four distinct scripture understandings of

  114. what the church is. Then you realize that why you're

  115. here is so you can work. You realize this is

  116. employment training. This is not to give you a lyft

  117. on a Wednesday. This is job training for task function

  118. in the Kingdom of God. So you're under discipline training

  119. to be more proficient in your service for God's government.

  120. That's called church because God gives apostle prophets, pastors teach

  121. an evangelists for the perfecting the saints or of equipping

  122. the saints to do the work of the ministry. So

  123. guess what you're being employed tonight? Hallelujah. Now, so you're

  124. going to be able to walk around after this and

  125. you find some other folks that are trying to get

  126. their will done, and God to bless it, you can

  127. help them. After that, you say, oh, my friend, do

  128. you realize the reason of your frustration level is because

  129. you're under divine restraint from God? And you say, no, it's

  130. the devil, Say no, it isn't is not the enemy

  131. that is your stumbling block in this situation. This is

  132. God keeping you from a major shipwreck in your future.

  133. And you can help them get on the right course

  134. of life. Does that makes sense? And you can find

  135. a multiple of scriptures to help them make that right decision,

  136. because the will of God is always confirmed in his

  137. word and it is affirmed one scripture to another scripture

  138. to another scripture. Now, until you have that type of

  139. a panoramic biblical view of knowing what the Word says

  140. on a particular issue in an item, you'll always stand

  141. in doubt of what you should do about it. Does

  142. that make sense. Let's just talk about hope. How many

  143. you ever got into a depressed state of mind where

  144. you because of a situation not occurring or accomplishing the

  145. way that you would have hoped it would have taken place.

  146. You find yourself reacting to the information and being a

  147. little negative mentally, a little hopeless in your motivation, and

  148. disgusted in a real sense about what's going on. You

  149. ever been there? Now? What does the word say to

  150. do about it? What did David say about when his

  151. own soul was disquieted? He spoke to it. He says,

  152. why are you disquieted within me? Oh my soul? Hope

  153. that in God? Now, how many of you ever prayed

  154. that God would send somebody to help you out of

  155. your distress? Where does it say pray that somebody comes

  156. and pats you on the back, pets you on the head,

  157. and scratches you a little bit and make you feel

  158. better about your misery? You know what it says to

  159. do about your own discouragement? David encouraged himself and the

  160. Lord his God, and that's when everybody wanted to stone

  161. him a zick lag. What is the affirmed word to do?

  162. What is the will of God? When you're discouraged? Encourage yourself,

  163. count it all, joy, remove the oppression, break through the

  164. barrier of your negative mindset, and get on with a program.

  165. Rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice ever more but how many

  166. of his whole opinion party want to have a prayer

  167. meeting over it. That's the wrong action. So this is

  168. what you pray with me my misery. Sure, get excited,

  169. count it all joy. Let's pray. See the will of

  170. God in prayer first, is the affirmed word of God,

  171. and just simply saying that is the will that's going

  172. to be done ended. No more discussion, no more question,

  173. no more dispute. It's going to be done. How are

  174. you today? I'm excited. I am so excited I can

  175. hardly stand myself. But it looks like a lot of

  176. things are going wrong. I decided not to look at

  177. the natural what about you? But it doesn't appear things

  178. are going wrong. Things that appear at they're temporal. Things

  179. that don't appear they're eternal, They say, But what about

  180. the things that you're looking at? Oh? The only thing

  181. I fix my eyes on is Jesus, the Author and

  182. finishing my faith, who for the joy set before him,

  183. dured to cross the spies of shame, set down at

  184. the right hand of the Father. I likewise, like him,

  185. endure every situation, set down at the throne of revelation

  186. of that which is purpose. I'm telling you, I am

  187. so excited. It looks like everybody's walking away. Though they

  188. walk away, Yet he will never deny me. I'll tell you,

  189. the word of the Lord is my standing of life.

  190. Say what about when people speak words? Why do the

  191. heathen rage? And people imagine? The main thing? The Word

  192. of God is everlasting and enduring forever. Say what about

  193. your failures? I can't remember them. The blood has already

  194. washed it all. Helen Ya, what are we doing. We're

  195. simply taking an affirm truth and saying that's the will.

  196. He said, Well, I need that will. I need that

  197. God show it to me. He already did. Is called

  198. the Bible. Just find a few scriptures that say the

  199. same thing and get excited about it. Hell, I know you,

  200. all right, pray those scriptures. They'll have awesome deliverance in

  201. your life. How do you just feel the lift when

  202. all I did was quote a few scriptures? I mean

  203. that's all hell ann Yah number three here, always look

  204. to ge and words to find God's will. If you

  205. question about the will of God, just look at Jesus life.

  206. It's like if all of a sudden family pressure is

  207. on you to do something contrary to what you know

  208. God has directed to be done. Look at Jesus' life.

  209. How did he handle it? When his mother and his

  210. brothers and his sisters came and Jesus was teaching in

  211. the house, and they came in and said, Jesus, your

  212. mama'st call on you. And he says, who is my mother,

  213. my brothers and my sisters? But they who do the

  214. will of my father. Man. He nailed it bam, so

  215. that he could accomplish the objectives of God and not

  216. fall prey to the manipulation of a concern of a

  217. family environment the will of God. And so many of

  218. us then play the manipulation game because we don't sever

  219. what is the will and what isn't the will, So

  220. we play into the hand of the toying of emotion

  221. and mind and motivation, and we play into the how

  222. you all know, the political arena of just family stuff.

  223. Forget somebody else's influence, You got it in your own family's.

  224. Jesus life, that's how he handled life. How did he

  225. handle life? When his disciples were walking away listening to

  226. the voice of the enemy, turns to Peter, he says,

  227. get thee behind me, satan. Now you talk about that

  228. to one of your friends in the Lord and they

  229. start chirping up some trash out of their mouth. Just

  230. deal with it, bam, don't play games with it. Just

  231. deal with it. Say man, that's a devil talking through you.

  232. We're going to break this thing. In Jesus name. I'll

  233. tell you to be more of a friend to them

  234. than ever before. People get goofy on, you back them

  235. up the side of the face. Hey, you're goofy. I mean,

  236. help you out of your squirrely, goofy brain. Let me

  237. deliver you. I tell you. You keep going down this avenue,

  238. you're going to be shipwrecked in about three months. Let's intervene.

  239. Let's get you set free. If people say I thought

  240. you're going to be my friend, I am, and says

  241. faithful of the wounds of a friend. Let me give

  242. you a few all right now. Not that you're malicious

  243. and violent against the individual. You just want to help them.

  244. The boy I have had more friends like that, I'd

  245. make less mistakes. How many you would have more friends

  246. like that, you'd have less mistakes. That's how you relate

  247. to people. Look at you. Never say help somebody sometime

  248. don't always listen to their complaint. You might have an

  249. answer for them. Think about it. John One. One in

  250. the beginning was the word, The word was with God.

  251. The word was good. I'm not talking about hitting the

  252. person on the face, obviously. So they don't go taking

  253. these things literal. Alleluiah boy. Some people walk around do

  254. any kind of crazy thing, all right. John Chapter six,

  255. verse thirty eight. Jesus says, for I came down from

  256. heaven not to do my own will, but the will

  257. of Him that sent me. That settles it. When Jesus

  258. and all the writings about him were there, he did

  259. the will of God. So what's the will of God?

  260. Like the will of God? One day is feed the multitude.

  261. The will of God another day is heal one person

  262. to the pool. The will of God is to speak

  263. the word and everybody gets offended. The will of God

  264. is to reach everybody and make them all happy. The

  265. will of God is in the midst of somebody who

  266. denies you. You give them the same rights as everybody

  267. who is in love with you. He said, Well, the

  268. will of God is always to have favor, not always.

  269. How many of you know Jesus preached some messages drove

  270. everybody away, and even the disciples. He said, basically, there's

  271. the door. If you want it, walk quick. And they said,

  272. wait a minute, wait minute, Where would we go for

  273. these words? He says, Oh, if you want them, then stay,

  274. If not, then go? How many you think, boy, that's

  275. that can't be the will of God? But it was

  276. the will of God? Does that make sense? So sometimes

  277. you may not be the most popular family member, and

  278. then all of a sudden they get a breakthrough and

  279. you're the shining star of the home. I just knew

  280. you'd be standing in prayer for me. You think, yeah,

  281. you cuss me out last month, but now you believe

  282. that I'm a saint of some sort. All right. Now,

  283. You see it doesn't always have this thing that's all

  284. exciting all the time. And when you look at Jesus' life,

  285. he went through it all. He had the people he

  286. was called to serve and train deny him. He had

  287. them questioning, try to manipulate him, get over on him

  288. and get a position from him that he wasn't about

  289. to give it that time. I mean, you know this

  290. is the will of God. Matthew eight, verse one through three.

  291. It says, And when he was come down from the mountain,

  292. great multitudes followed him, and behold, there came a leper

  293. and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can

  294. make me clean. Jesus put forth his hand and touched him, saying,

  295. I will. Now that settles it. If somebody says to

  296. Jesus about the healing arena, if you are willing, you can,

  297. Jesus said, I will, then he's willing to heal. Find

  298. scripture that deals with Jesus' life and settle issues in

  299. your life. It'll generally settle the issue. So if somebody says,

  300. will God heal me, then your answer is ask him

  301. if he will. Because the leper went to Jesus and said,

  302. will you heal me? You can? Yes, Then the question

  303. comes down to will you heal me? Yes, he will.

  304. How do you know he will? Because his words said

  305. he would. So therefore is it as well? Yes, it says,

  306. well why because it was jesus life. He willingly walked

  307. in the will of God. Do that makes sense? It

  308. makes life very easy. You could really most of your

  309. prayer life would almost be settled if you just studied

  310. the life of Jesus. And the topical text of the

  311. Word of God, and understood the complementary scriptures that deal

  312. with things, and just prayed the Word. You'd find yourself

  313. with awesome insights and revelation.
