  1. Welcome Just hand Away Tagalog Sermon Podcast, your daily dose

  2. of inspiring, heartfelt Tagalog sermons from different pastors and speakers

  3. all over the Philippines. We hopeing this podcast finds you

  4. any good shame and now here's your message.

  5. Thank you so much to our worship team.

  6. Really appreciate even with all this online setup that's happening.

  7. I thank you and appreciate.

  8. All of our volunteers, even our worship director team Marami

  9. Salamat for what you're doing.

  10. And today, as you all know, is our Mother's Day,

  11. and it's it's really.

  12. Very special special and we're now spending time with our moms,

  13. whether Bahi pusilla or maybe through a zoom or through

  14. a call or maybe even a visit to our moms

  15. at this time. And I just wanted to take this

  16. time also to appreciate all the mothers in our commune

  17. unity at Talagan, to have so many mothers in our

  18. house in Victory Green Hills.

  19. And today we have our new series.

  20. And this is a series for moms and we call

  21. it Beauty in Strength. And I just want to take

  22. this time to introduce you to my mom. My mom

  23. passed away two years ago more than two years ago.

  24. But if there's somebody who could epitomize beauty in strength,

  25. it's my mom. My mom was a fighter. My mom

  26. was a cancer survivor for more than four years.

  27. But then she had to sud.

  28. She succumbed to that sickness after four years of fighting

  29. with it. But we've seen her how she used a

  30. sickness or a pain like that to bring glory and

  31. honor to God's name. And I'm really just amazed in

  32. the life of my mom, how she has shaped us,

  33. how she has in many ways, and that becomes similarities

  34. and an econo and uh for better and for my

  35. say reilarity.

  36. Spokes and aniko.

  37. But I just want to honor her for raising me

  38. up to be this kind of a man, whether you

  39. like it or not, not that my mom raised me

  40. up that way. I also like to take this time

  41. to honor my mother in law. If there is somebody

  42. that I really really appreciate at the time when I

  43. actually lost my mom was my mother in law and

  44. mother in law, her mere presence, her love, language of gifts,

  45. and just being here with us, supporting us since day

  46. one when I got married. They're one of the most

  47. supportive in laws that I've that you'll ever see an

  48. experience now, So I'm blessed I have a mother in

  49. law like you. So, Mama, I love you so much,

  50. and I just want to honor you for being such

  51. a great mom.

  52. And of course I also want to honor my.

  53. Wife, Tammy. You have been such an amazing woman, an

  54. amazing mother to our kids, and I just the sacrifice

  55. that you've made through the years, the no complaining whatsoever

  56. of the duty that you have as a mother, and

  57. now that we're in a lockdown and in guarantine.

  58. So I would just like to appreciate you, Sami, and

  59. I really love you. I love you so much.

  60. All right, Today I want to go to two verses

  61. in the New Testament and the Old Testament. In Ephesian six,

  62. verse one to three says their children, obey your parents

  63. in the Lord, for this is right.

  64. Honor your father and mother.

  65. This is the first commandment, with the promise that it

  66. may go well with you and that you may live

  67. long in the land. The Bible talks about honoring your

  68. father and your mother.

  69. Now, when we.

  70. Say honor, that means it's to assign value as reflecting

  71. personal esteem.

  72. In a value.

  73. Hon is a t and I know in our culture

  74. today one of the curse words that's currently used is

  75. to dishonor the moms, right, and you hear that in

  76. the street to you hear it globally there's a cursing

  77. and they use moms as a cursed word.

  78. But the Bible tells us that we have.

  79. To honor her, to assign value to her, that she

  80. is valuable, and that it would reflect personal respect and esteem.

  81. Honor your father and your mother. We need to honor

  82. our mothers. And later we'll see how we're going to

  83. do that.

  84. I'll give you some practical steps as we end our

  85. message later, But first, let me talk about Kingdom moms.

  86. Right. I've been talking about the Kingdom of God. I've

  87. been preaching about the Kingdom of.

  88. God, and one of the things that we want to

  89. see in our church is that we will have kingdom

  90. mothers or Kingdom moms.

  91. What do I mean by that? By looking at the

  92. life of the Mom.

  93. Of Moses, which is Joe Schabed, we would see what

  94. the kingdom mom is, right, an example for the Kingdom

  95. mom and how she thinks and how she acts and

  96. Exodus chapter two, verse one to verse ten.

  97. We'll look at it.

  98. It says they're a man of the family of Levi

  99. married a Levite woman.

  100. The woman became pregnant and had a son.

  101. She saw there was something special about him and hid him.

  102. She hid him for three months. So this Levi married

  103. the Levite woman. Kessy Moses, my Levi jeans no. So

  104. the mom saw something special in in Moses, and it's

  105. having a talagan growing up.

  106. Now here's a picture of two babies and she said,

  107. this baby. You look at them and you might say, well,

  108. there's nothing special about them. They just look like any

  109. other baby pictures that we have.

  110. But two women saw these babies and said there's something

  111. special about them.

  112. And they sacrifice and.

  113. They turned their schedules around to be able to raise

  114. these two kids. And the two baby pictures that you

  115. see here are now kingdom men, world changers. Their Pastor

  116. Larry and Pastor Dave Right, and that's the mom of

  117. Pastor Dave Right. They saw this baby and said, I

  118. will do everything and I will sacrifice so that I

  119. could raise godly men who would make an impact in

  120. our nation today.

  121. This is what kingdom mothers are.

  122. Kingdom moms have a way of seeing the beauty and

  123. the potential of their child and kingdom.

  124. Potential when others don't see.

  125. A kingdom mom sees it, and the kingdom mom would

  126. pray for the destiny and the purposes of God for

  127. their kids. Dammy would pray for our kids all the time.

  128. She would speak their destiny.

  129. She would declare a prophetically the future of our kids.

  130. And that's how a kingdom mom acts. That's how a

  131. kingdom mom thinks. When she prays. She sees the potential.

  132. She sees how God is going to use their kids mightily. Now,

  133. when she couldn't hide him any longer, she got a

  134. little basket boat made of paper us, waterproof it with

  135. tar and pitch, and placed the child in it.

  136. Then she set it afloat in the reeds at the

  137. edge of the nile.

  138. Right the baby's older sister found herself a vantage point

  139. a little way off and watched to see what would

  140. happen to him.

  141. Now, Pharaoh's daughter came down to the nant or to bathe.

  142. Her maiden strolled on the back.

  143. She saw the basket boat floating in the reeds and

  144. set her maid to get it.

  145. She opened it and saw a child, a baby crying.

  146. Her heart went out to him. She said, this must

  147. be one of our Hebrew babies. Now, as you can

  148. see here, the mom though the baby was crying, she

  149. hid him for three months. Now, that would take a lot.

  150. Of effort for the mother, but for the mom of Moses,

  151. she risked by faith raising up this child because she

  152. knew there was something special about this child.

  153. And when she knew there was something special.

  154. About this child, she did whatever it takes for Moses

  155. to survive that crisis. Hiding a baby for three months

  156. with your neighbors who can be saying, oh there's a

  157. baby there, please report it and they'll get some cash

  158. or get some reward from the government. You know, it

  159. was so hard those three months of the mom sacrificing

  160. her time, sacrificing her daily routine to look at the child,

  161. so that when the child is crying, she would make

  162. her say why, you know, And she hid them for

  163. three months until she could no longer hit her. And

  164. so she made a plan. She devised a plan for

  165. this baby to survive because she knew this baby had

  166. a destiny. Josephed had a plan for Moses to survive

  167. the crisis. We are in a crisis today, and I

  168. pray as parents, as Kingdom moms and even Kingdom.

  169. Dads, we would have a plan for our.

  170. Kids not only to survive the crisis, but to thrive

  171. in the midst of crisis.

  172. I've been saying this Rereadings page twenty twenty. Is a

  173. year of.

  174. Training, a year to train up a child in the

  175. way they should go so that when they grow old,

  176. they will not depart from it.

  177. Kingdom parents, it's time.

  178. We train our kids not only to survive the crisis,

  179. but to thrive in the crisis. Now, wonder we are

  180. with our kids more than eight hours, twelve hours, sixteen

  181. hours a day.

  182. Together so that we can impart to them the.

  183. Things that we have learned in the past, our experiences,

  184. our success our failures. Now is the best time we

  185. are forced to. We are now together in our homes

  186. so that we can build.

  187. And impart to our kids.

  188. I've been watching The Last Dance every Monday, and in

  189. episode five it featured.

  190. The mom of Michael Jordan. The mom of Michael Jordan.

  191. Made a very big difference in the lives not only Jordan,

  192. but also of a lot of you who are wearing

  193. Nikes shoes, those of you collecting Jordan's shoes. Jordan was

  194. so keen on getting the Adidas deal. But the mom

  195. says to Jordan, you're going to go to Nike. You're

  196. going to listen. You may not like it, but you're

  197. going to go and listen. She made me, Michael Jordan said,

  198. she made me go on that plane and go listen.

  199. And when Nike offered such a big deal, the rest

  200. was history.

  201. All right. The mom says, it would be crazy for

  202. you not to take this deal, and the rest is history.

  203. Imagine if Jordan did not listen to the mom, most

  204. there will be no Nike today. It is because of

  205. the plan of the mother instilling in Michael Jordan that

  206. you've got to learn how to listen to a pinch

  207. see all options learn in life. Madam Haba Walapatai experience

  208. feeling a tayo no but maamat Madam Mato.

  209. Di Jordas and anemia.

  210. Kingdom monks would do whatever it takes to raise Kingdom kids. Ah.

  211. They would sacrifice career, they would sacrifice time, they would sacrifice.

  212. Effort so that they could raise Kingdom kids.

  213. Our goal as parents is not only to raise good kids,

  214. but kingdom kids, kids who would embrace the cause of

  215. the Kingdom of God and kingdom moms knows this not

  216. so see Joseph Moses special to Malamam putishamaking prince of Egypt.

  217. Right, and this is what really happened to Moses.

  218. The mom raised up Moses and did whatever it takes,

  219. risk her life, risk the family's life. Why to make

  220. sure that Moses would have the kind of life that

  221. God wants him to have.

  222. In fact, the sister was so involved that the partition

  223. of the mom. The sister was so involved in the process.

  224. Why because for them it's a family thing and we've

  225. got to make sure our little baby survived this crisis.

  226. Look at verse in the next nine verse Eve and

  227. then his sister was before her right, and the sister went.

  228. To the pharous daughter.

  229. They wanted to go and get a nursing mother from

  230. the Hebrews so she can nurse the baby for you.

  231. You see the plant they all planted out Bana.

  232. They made planet tle Waterproofmosis Illigo Phedo's daughter.

  233. Bring them there be there at advantage point. Look at it.

  234. And when she comes out, you know, offer me to

  235. be the to be the caretaker, to be the uh,

  236. the one who will nurse the baby.

  237. And farus daughter said yes, go.

  238. The girl went and called the child's mother imagine this,

  239. and Faru's daughter told her, take this baby and nurse

  240. him for me. I'll pay what I'll pay you. Grab

  241. it bin paramagna. N the woman told the child and

  242. nurse him a lot of mom.

  243. This is their verse okay for being a mother. Sorry

  244. Timmy pero, next time, all kay, take this baby and

  245. nurse him for me. I'll pay you Now. I might

  246. not be able to pay my wife, but remember this.

  247. All the moms out here, I want you to listen

  248. to this.

  249. Right even though you feel like, oh, I have sacrificed

  250. so much, remember this kingdom, moms, there is a return.

  251. There's a great return for all the sacrifice you have made.

  252. Kingdom moms, La sacribe latina.

  253. There's a great return for the sacrifice you have made.

  254. And the return are your kingdom kids who would change

  255. and touch so many lives.

  256. I'm not sure if my mom.

  257. Would know or my mom knew at the time when

  258. she would go to the visoria every day and work

  259. so hard for us so that we can go to

  260. a Christian school and go to one of the best

  261. universities right and to impart to us and teach us

  262. the ways of life.

  263. I don't know if she knew that this was going

  264. to be my colleague, that I will be a pastor.

  265. I don't know about you, your mom today, and you

  266. say I've made so much a sacrifice, and you say,

  267. marm bam.

  268. Do do la doo. I'm telling you don't give up.

  269. You are a Kingdom mom and the sacrifices you made

  270. will have a great return, might not be financially, but

  271. something that would impact.

  272. The world because you've raised Kingdom kids. So I want

  273. to end with these very practical tips. How do we

  274. honor our moms? To all the moms are here today,

  275. How can we honor our moms Sam, whether Matandana, Mami

  276. moo or Batatammi mo? How do you honor your mom?

  277. Number one? Right? You have to love her unconditionally.

  278. You know.

  279. I look, I made a YouTube video of a letter

  280. to my daughters. You can go look at that video

  281. and YouTube right.

  282. Where I told them you have to learn how to

  283. appreciate your mom. And I told them the story of

  284. how Tamii sacrifice all throughout.

  285. Her life, her schedule, her time was for the kids. Now,

  286. it's so easy to.

  287. Love somebody conditionally because you've seen the sacrifice.

  288. But what if your mom is now old and she

  289. can no longer give what she has given to you before.

  290. Instead, now she is asking for unconditional love back. Honoring

  291. your mom is not only during times when she can

  292. give back to you. Honoring your mom is also giving

  293. back and loving her when she could.

  294. Not give anything to you anymore, especially now that when

  295. she's old. In the movie entitled be Grateful and be

  296. Thankful for your mom, honor her and love her unconditionally.

  297. Imagine Moses the mom of Moses for three months, always watching, protecting,

  298. finding ways to raise her in the most unconventional way.

  299. Now that she's old and she can't do anything. How

  300. about you, how do you treat your mom? Do you

  301. love her and honor her unconditionally? Mcmahal than mcmahalpu t

  302. you unconditionally.

  303. Love her unconditionally. Number two is to understand her, sympathetically

  304. understand her. And this is what I wrote in my notes.

  305. Understand her. Even if you can't understand, I'll be very honest,

  306. Madamian bessis here, ladon Magarna and menopausal stage come back

  307. and Galt. There are many times I cannot understand my mom,

  308. but I have to love her and honor her, even.

  309. If I can understand her mood swings, even if I

  310. can understand her logic, even if we don't see eye

  311. to eye.

  312. And most likely you would have the same belt.

  313. With your mom, but you have to understand her sympathetically

  314. put yourself in her shoe.

  315. I remember there was a time when I was listening

  316. to Ravi Zakaraitis.

  317. He went here and there was something he said apologetics theology,

  318. but there was something he said that touched me more

  319. than all the apologetics, and it was just an introduction

  320. to his message.

  321. He said, in our culture.

  322. Whether or not my dad or my mom right says

  323. something to me that might be harsh or that might

  324. have hurt me, I will not answer back. I will

  325. respect them and love them because that's the way it is.

  326. I was so touched by it because I remember there

  327. was one time in my life, and I'm being very

  328. honest to you, man.

  329. One time, Hindi Kopuma take to about something I no

  330. need to mention what But when I hung up, Man,

  331. the feeling was so.

  332. Did not feeling. At that time, when my emotion was rising,

  333. I felt like I have dishonored my mom. I could

  334. not take it. You know, now I see a lot

  335. of young kids, a lot of teenagers shouting at their mom,

  336. disrespecting their mom.

  337. Nikoma Taic, it must not be abbout honor your father

  338. and mother, that it may go well with you, that

  339. you may live long in the land.

  340. Many have disrespected their mom. And maybe that's why we

  341. see our culture today, and Damie, maybe because we've forgotten.

  342. When you don't know how to appreciate the past.

  343. Of the sacrifices, of the love, of everything your parents

  344. did to you, it's so hard for you to move forward.

  345. There's no blessing there. You have to honor, honor your

  346. mom unconditioned, understand her sympathetically, even if you don't understand

  347. me thirty is to appreciate her consistently. Remember Moses won't

  348. be here without her mother's faith, prayer, and dedication. We

  349. need our mother's church. I've lost mine, I've lost my mom,

  350. and it hurts when a mom comes to me and

  351. would say, you know.

  352. Primpes they don't need me anymore.

  353. Let me tell you, mothers, Kingdom moms, mothers, you are

  354. needed constantly.

  355. Don't believe the lie of the enemy that you are

  356. no longer needed. And one of the things, and I

  357. say this with full conviction, one of the things.

  358. I mean, Kayo, is because moms are the best prayer warriors.

  359. Trabb prayma no manana and pe prey for me is

  360. a church partner.

  361. The Lord appreciate her consistently, make her feel that she's

  362. needed and she's not just a naho and Jenemanzimami appreciate

  363. her consistently.

  364. We need our moms.

  365. The world needs Kingdom moms, Kingdom mothers. I want to

  366. honor the mothers in our community.

  367. That's when I said, I've lost my mom, but it

  368. has been replaced by many moms. I'm thankful for mothers.

  369. When my mom actually died on her second death anniversary,

  370. Nita Stella like Padel and video Stella on that day

  371. where we're celebrating the second year of my mom's death.

  372. And in that video, she was whispering her Bible study

  373. because Bonnie was still steep, and she would say, here's

  374. what I believe the Lord is trying to say to me,

  375. what do you think of it? And as she was

  376. and as she sent me that video, I was crying

  377. Nan Bible, oh Basay motto and she would shed it

  378. like how Tita Stella did it in her video.

  379. And I was crying because I knew the world needs mothers.

  380. I need a mom. I'm forty years old, but i

  381. need a mom and I'm thankful that it's been replaced

  382. by many months in our community. Moms are the best

  383. prayer warriors.

  384. I want to end with his story, true story that

  385. happened in eighteen twenty. This is a documented story and

  386. I know you won't believe me, but you can google

  387. it after. This is the story of Peter Richly who was.

  388. On his way to Australia.

  389. And he was writing a boat. And in this boat,

  390. as he was writing, a storm came and the boat

  391. started the ship started sinking. Everybody in that boat died

  392. except for Peter Richly. A second boat came and rescued him.

  393. Good thing.

  394. But then because of the storm, the second boat also

  395. started to sink, and when it started to sing, everybody

  396. jumped off board. And then there was this third boat

  397. that rescued Peter Richly while he was on the third boat.

  398. Again the same faith happened. This third boat started sinking.

  399. And when this third boat started sinking, a fourth boat

  400. ship came and to.

  401. Peter Richly out of the water, just like Moses being

  402. taken out of the water.

  403. And being rescued. While he was on that fourth boat.

  404. On the fourth boat, the boat started to sink and

  405. Peter Richly jumped again on the scene. And then what happened,

  406. a fifth boat ship came. It was the city of Leeds.

  407. When the doctor checked up on Peter Richly and they

  408. were about to dock.

  409. The doctor said, I have a favor. He says, you know,

  410. there's a lady on board who booke passage to Australia.

  411. Now all of us love this lady. She knows all

  412. of us.

  413. She's looking for her son, who disappeared years ago, and

  414. she's dying now and she's asking to see her son.

  415. Every time we would go, every time I would go

  416. to the cabin, I would hear her cry out to

  417. the Lord and pray, Lord, before I die, I want

  418. to see my son. Now I need a favor from you,

  419. since you're the only person she doesn't know. Can you

  420. pretend to be the son? Of course, Peter agreed this

  421. was his fifth life. He followed the doctor below deck

  422. and entered into the cabin.

  423. There was the small bed with a frail woman with

  424. a silver hair. She was obviously suffering from a high fever. Delirious.

  425. She was crying out, Please, God, let me see my

  426. son before I die. I must see my son.

  427. When Peter.

  428. Saw the woman, Peter broke out in tears and started crying.

  429. Peter saw the woman. Her name was Sarah Richly. It

  430. was Peter's mom.

  431. We don't know this miracle of Peter.

  432. Who was rescued by four books, rescued and given his

  433. fifth chance of life because of the power of a

  434. praying mom. The mom actually recovered that she got to

  435. spend time with her son.

  436. Moms, Kingdom moms.

  437. Never underestimate the power that you have the power of prayer.
