  2. inspiring from heartfelt tagalog sermons from different factors and speakers

  3. all over the Philippines.

  4. We hope that this podcast finds you in good shape.

  5. And now here's your message.

  6. You're listening to a podcast from Victory. Jesus taught us

  7. principles on judgment and discernment. Learn more about judging others

  8. in week thirteen of our series Redefined.

  9. We have now the thirteenth week on Redefined, especially on

  10. the teaching of Jesus Christ at the Sermon of the

  11. Mound that is in Matches chapter five, six and seven.

  12. So all of us know that whenever Jesus guy said in.

  13. His words it is true and powerful. Do you believe

  14. in that?

  15. Save my Bible but see Christ and acceleta a read letter,

  16. my read letter edition of Bible. Oka that is the

  17. words of Christ in us. So this morning we'll be

  18. talking about one of the most important, uh and valuable

  19. teachings of Christ to all humanity, including Christians and non

  20. Christians as well. And this is how we call judging

  21. other people. This is very critical. Judgment is critical as

  22. a judgment critical. So let me be to you the

  23. scripture that we have here right now. The Bible says,

  24. judge not that you will not be judged. For with

  25. the judgment you pronounce, you will be judged. And with

  26. the measure you will use, it will be measured to you.

  27. Why do you see the spect in your brother's eyes

  28. satagallo samatam? Okay, But do that not the log in

  29. your own eye? Or young logtaga malaking? Or how can

  30. you say to your brother, let me take the spec

  31. out of your eye, and there is the log in

  32. your own eye, you hypocrite. First take the log out

  33. of your own eye, and then you will see clarity

  34. to the spec out of your brother's eye. Then, Jesus

  35. transition in this verse in verse six, do not give

  36. dogs what is holy, And do not throw your pearls

  37. before pigs, lest they trample them und their foot and turn.

  38. To attack you.

  39. So all of us had been attacked by criticism. How

  40. many of you have been criticized once in your lifetime?

  41. Raise your hand?

  42. How many of you have been criticized unjustly, unfairly, without

  43. any basis?

  44. Okay.

  45. So, with the proliferation of social media nowadays, we see

  46. a lot of attacks in the social media right, fake news,

  47. damian to everyone squarreling each and the other and criticizing

  48. each other in the venue of social media. But we

  49. know that social media is a very informal way of

  50. communicating to people. Right, even if you say a lot

  51. of words in there, people may really misjudge you as

  52. someone's very critical in nature. And maybe some of us

  53. had been critical also one of our days of our life, right,

  54. Nagi critical in taio with other people. Nowadays, Nagin critical

  55. retire of other people's opinion, Nain critical entire out of

  56. people's attitude and life of other people and character perhaps,

  57. But you know, in the eyes of God, judgment is

  58. very important for us to learn.

  59. And this morning we'll be talking about a lot of.

  60. Things that Jesus want us to learn about, talking about judgment.

  61. There are some people who criticize other people left and

  62. right Abe Kundi, Mamuna Okay, Jimbaut kilk Minshaka, Galitza Mundu

  63. and Galitmo sah and Taia my wife freak. You see,

  64. they criticized left and right doing.

  65. Things and.

  66. Versi Paramerican self pricious attitude. And if you're like that,

  67. you're very critical of other people, and don't look into

  68. yourself as being criticizing yourself as well, you're being unfair

  69. to other people.

  70. Can the Bible clearly state the ban.

  71. The Bible clearistate judge not sabina, and judge not that

  72. you may not be judged, for with the judgment you pronounce,

  73. you would be judged, and with the measure you use,

  74. it will be measured to you. The beginning of what

  75. we call judgment stretch from us. Every kind of judgment

  76. that we get to people has always has what a

  77. consequential effect every judgment that we say, the words that

  78. we say sometimes we mahata say most of the time guilty,

  79. including myself nona create denial kapadia later on asisishika. Every

  80. time we speak a word of judgment or criticism to

  81. other people, there will be a consequential effect into our lives.

  82. And some people when they criticize, they don't want to

  83. be criticized, but criticized okay. Many people are like that.

  84. What the Bible is saying is this, we first judge

  85. our own action. There are two extremes that people are

  86. doing their own lives. They try to evaluate themselves. They

  87. may judge misjudge themselves. The first extreme is what we

  88. call underestimating oneself. You judge yourself in evaluates. No, that's

  89. what we call poverty mentality. We underestimators say I'm just

  90. a poor boy.

  91. Nobody loves me.

  92. Okay, youman adult na related okaya?

  93. My he.

  94. My influence and no we under We judge ourselves as

  95. if we are the tiniest enlitiest person in the world.

  96. Extreme silas they're judging themselves at the other hand, and

  97. the other extreme is over estimating oneself. Soegn okay, okay,

  98. over estimating one as if I believe you call that,

  99. I believe only in myself mentality?

  100. Baw what salp bow what ma opinion?

  101. Who alaian, I'm not higher people would like to really

  102. recognize you as the all knowing omnation person.

  103. In this entire world.

  104. It's you know everything, And they judge themselves as someone's

  105. so self rightous and knows everything in this world.

  106. But you know, the Bible doesn't say so.

  107. If we will to judge ourselves, it's always on the

  108. basis of what the starting point of judging ourselves is.

  109. The starting point is our sinfulness. When I judge myself,

  110. I look at myself as someone like a sinner, not

  111. really a saint. Automatically, it is God's grace upon me

  112. that makes me a saint. But left to myself, okay,

  113. ating land all of us, left to ourselves. We are

  114. all sinners. Say, by grace.

  115. Is some palagone and I'm just aden.

  116. If we judge ourself, we are basing ourselves on the

  117. sinfulness that we have a human being.

  118. We don't judge beyond. We judge ourselves to people.

  119. What is our measurement of judgment to people? Sometimes we

  120. judge people based on their intellectual capacity and yan grade

  121. one langa natapusan, well not in paklinan yan mahira plan yan.

  122. We're just poor people. We don't listen to poor people. Okay,

  123. remember we're rich and famous. We don't listen to them.

  124. Or maybe probably in the physical appearance. Don't judge the

  125. book but its cover. Sabigan is an unpopular ARTI style

  126. because don't judge my brother, he's not a book. We

  127. don't judge people based on physical appearance. Mind you moan,

  128. whats a mokaian? Okay, I've seen a lot of pay

  129. I'm a professional counselor my job is to counsel people

  130. different nationality and different. I will tell you the truth

  131. is Amayan, what as intellection.

  132. What last titan?

  133. It is the inner being that is far more important

  134. than anyone else in this world. We are all singers

  135. say by grace Church. So that's why judgment that Bible says,

  136. Jesus says to us that judgment should be the very

  137. office of our Lord, Jesus Christ. If we judge ours, well,

  138. we judge according to our sinfulness, not according to our

  139. own righteousness. Sometimes we judge people according to their job,

  140. their work an uh tricycle driver okay, taxi driver, uber driver,

  141. grab driver okay, carpentero.

  142. So do we judge people based on their work?

  143. Of course not we should And then some people will

  144. say this is this is the kind of work that

  145. they have. Then we have a very wrong notion malala

  146. equate that we put people on the box and say

  147. we don't put people in a box. You get what

  148. I'm saying. In the ikh and land tia okay action

  149. we don't judge or we will sell be judged. We

  150. don't condemn or we will sell will be condemned. So

  151. that Jesus himself is telling this not only to the disciples,

  152. but also to the Pharisees, the religious people, or we

  153. can see to all the Christians around the world. Jesus

  154. saying this to all of us, including myself, that we

  155. don't suppose to judge people. Judge not, so that you

  156. will not be judge. And this is God's warning, Jesus warning.

  157. In a parallel verse in the Bible, this is Jesus warning.

  158. This is warning. When we judge, we put a verdict.

  159. The best word, when you judge, put a verdict parasna.

  160. When we condemn what happened, we put a curse on people.

  161. Paula in Musha neilak musha shusha. That's what Jesus is

  162. selling us in Luk six thirty seven. Judge not, and

  163. you will not be judged, condemned not, and you will

  164. not be condemned. Forgive this is what the Bible says,

  165. and you will be living, will be forgiven freedom.

  166. You know, Church, having this in mind and.

  167. Having this in our hearts should change the way we

  168. think about what life should be.

  169. That's a hawaii okay ha ha okay, okay.

  170. So there are some people who should change all of

  171. what should change. Church, you know that judgment is a

  172. very critical spirit. And before the end of the service

  173. we will pray. If there are some critical spirit within us,

  174. we will rebuild that and send it to the Cementari Halloween. Okay,

  175. So this cycle of judgment, condemnation and forgiveness should always

  176. be part and parcel of who we are as Christians.

  177. It should be part of who we are in repentance

  178. and in forgiveness. A cycle of judgment must end up

  179. in repentance and forgiveness.

  180. You understand, Church.

  181. So when when never we judge people and we realize

  182. that we're wrong, we need to repent, We need to

  183. ask forgiveness. If some people criticize and ask for again,

  184. let's forgive people. Recently, there was a chaos in showbiz.

  185. You know what happened, right, I would not mention the

  186. name a popular showb is personality criticize people who have depression? Right,

  187. and he apologized publicly a national television he criticized. But

  188. yet he apologized. Despit of forgiveness to him? Okay, or

  189. as will be depressed if you don't forgive. Okay, but again,

  190. become a romal paomai depressed. And I want to tell

  191. you this depression is real, very real. Okay, I'm a

  192. professional counsel, right, council people who are depressed. Okay, some

  193. are successful overcoming it, some are not. They are now

  194. into heaven. But really, depression is something that we really

  195. have to look into. But you know, judgment, time and

  196. time and time again will be the problem of humanity.

  197. You agree with me, that is part and parcel of

  198. our sinful nature, being critical towards others.

  199. With all this the part and parcel to who we

  200. are as Christian. But remember this, The Bible says that

  201. God is just so nothing. God is just.

  202. The Bible says, do not be deceived. God is not

  203. bad for whatever once so that he will also want

  204. He will Readnai pagushka paga.

  205. Welcome that path makes nothing. Why because God is just,

  206. so we have to be careful.

  207. Pastor Sabinamana Bible, Blessed are those who are persecuted for

  208. My sake, for thirst Kingdom of God. When people criticize

  209. you and say a lot of nasty things to you,

  210. you pray for them and let God allow his judgment

  211. over them.

  212. It's not for us to judge. At the end of

  213. the day, God will vindicate us. Do you agree with me?

  214. I had that experience twenty more than twenty years ago.

  215. One person criticized me from head to toe and say, Lord,

  216. Welasian bases everything.

  217. But I choose to forgive. I choose to bestow my

  218. blessing though and behooved. Things work out. People know what

  219. is the truth.

  220. I don't need to defend myself because the more we

  221. defend ourselves toward things that people criticize on us. You

  222. know what happened Lalan lunas a social media ahab and

  223. trending yen okay away Latin followers more.

  224. You manuel okay excited because engaging many excited comment the

  225. ma burina and facebooks are not.

  226. God gave us a great warning of not judging people

  227. or else we suffer the consequences of doing such things

  228. in our life.

  229. We are Christians.

  230. We don't waste time criticizing judging other people. Let God

  231. be the judge. Our job today is to be a witness.

  232. My job as a Christian and the opinion Latin opinion

  233. wang positive and talk actionary ballads, yes, very sensitive. Shall

  234. we make our life more productive than engaging with a

  235. lot of nasty conversations that are not glorifying to God.

  236. Short liand abatid simple admonition from from me.

  237. No nothing patula to hmm okay hayammunasa nasa is hayama mahula.

  238. Why because you are at peace with the peace of God.

  239. Right because we are a witness, We are not judged.

  240. We are a witness of God. Let's go to number two.

  241. Let's read this verse. Why do you see the spect

  242. of what is in your brother's eye, but do not

  243. notice the log that is in your own eye? Or

  244. how can you say to your brother, let me take

  245. the spec out of your eye when there's a log

  246. in your own eye hypocrette.

  247. First take the log out of your own eye, and

  248. then you.

  249. Will see clearly to take the spec out of your

  250. brother's eye. A wisdom the Lord. He used the eye

  251. as an illustration for judgment. Our eye is the most

  252. sensitive part in our.

  253. Whole human body. But I grab nali non.

  254. Okay sondros alcoholangal imo.

  255. Bi.

  256. Why because God is saying that we use the eye

  257. to see the needs of people. You need the eye

  258. to see how can we help people? And we use

  259. the eye to help people to see the light of God.

  260. Our second point is self judgment is to help each

  261. other grow in grease.

  262. Corect parallel at in sare link tobago. We need to change.

  263. All of us needs to change. We need to grow

  264. in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We need

  265. to honestly face up our own sin and confess our

  266. sins towards one another because it helps us a lot

  267. to do what is great and what is proper and

  268. what is pleasing in the eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  269. Never look at others and think you are better because

  270. the difference between you and them that you sin differently.

  271. Langlan and you Cazilana and Josh hypen type and tie.

  272. You accuse one person that this, but you're doing these

  273. things for yourself. Okay, okay, okay, peel box, very witty,

  274. very witty. But because of that sinfulness that we have,

  275. remember this, we are all singers. Hyam Lang, I've been

  276. mistreated many many times in my life, but never once

  277. in my life I get even nevera.

  278. Lord.

  279. You don't take advantage about people, then God bless you, Lord,

  280. God bless you. We have to make people feel in

  281. the eyes of God. You can still change, and we

  282. are not there to judge when we put curse on people.

  283. You know why, because we learn not to see ourselves

  284. in the light of how God sees us as people.

  285. God wants us to be humble servants of the Lord,

  286. and we don't make our elves in a way that

  287. God would want.

  288. Us to have in this lifetime.

  289. We should examine our own action, our own attitudes, because

  290. at the end of the day, Church, God always sees

  291. our heart.

  292. God always sees our heart.

  293. If we have that kind of attitude, Church, God will

  294. bless us even more. Do you agree with me maraaminana

  295. Marama town Nandaya maraminan tao that she saying you don't

  296. do the same. In the Ipho and I a on

  297. we have to bless people who are those as meaning God.

  298. Let's go to number three. Do not give dogs what

  299. is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs,

  300. lest they trample them under foot and turn an attack.

  301. At the end of the day, God is the ultimate judge.

  302. Been nothing.

  303. God is the ultimate judge. Yes, we are all Christians.

  304. We exercise we should exercise discernment because the Bible. No,

  305. let's go back to the previous verse. Don't give dogs

  306. what is holy during the time when priests eats on

  307. the table, they don't put down or drap meat underneath

  308. because there are a lot of dogs throwing around.

  309. And then you do that.

  310. Directly or intentionally, that is an holy thing before the

  311. eyes of God.

  312. But remember we are still living in this world.

  313. Indeed, Mundo Christiano athme at Tackle said, jos, do you.

  314. Agree with me? We are living in a very furious time.

  315. Wherever you go in this world. Okay, wherever you go,

  316. there are some people who will really be there to

  317. really test your heart. Do I throw your purse before

  318. the pigs. Okay, peers are very.

  319. Valuable stone, but pigs made okay mala. But nonetheless God

  320. wants us.

  321. Not to be deceived in the park.

  322. Contrast, Okay, Lord, we should learn also to look into

  323. other people. Thems Poda Mattu to Karen Manancha, you must

  324. learn to discern because not all people in this world

  325. are like sheep in the nantao i t panka nating

  326. where Mahamu tupaiamattatuba. Why because God wants us to be

  327. like sheep. But remember there are some people in this

  328. world who will come even to the church. Wolves in

  329. sheep clothing in short, mascot marmi, mascot Sachristiano, papang God.

  330. What God would like us to do is really to

  331. take care of the sheep.

  332. And through the years of our existence in our church

  333. in Victory Green Hills, we have found so many people

  334. like that. It's not from us, not that are members

  335. of the church, but coming in and out try to

  336. take advantage of people. They are like sheep involved. They

  337. want to pretend. But we need to be discernful at

  338. the end of the day. If we're discernful and we're

  339. guided by people. That's why our church, our leaders in

  340. the church will always tells you don't allow things for

  341. you to be taken advantage. Let us know there will

  342. be people who will say they are from Victory, they

  343. are from there are Christians, okay, and a.

  344. Lot of papangap whatsoever.

  345. But the Bible says that we have to be very

  346. discernful because at the end of the day it is God.

  347. Who will judge them. Just the same.

  348. For I'm not aware of anything against myself, why I'm

  349. not the where thereby acquitted.

  350. It is the Lord who judges me.

  351. Therefore, do not pronounce judgment before time, before the Lord comes,

  352. who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness,

  353. and will disclose the purpose of the heart. Each one

  354. will receive this commendation before the Lord. We share the

  355. gospel to people. We share the gas to the sinners.

  356. We share the gospel of those who are lost. We

  357. share the gossip for those people who pretend to be saved.

  358. We give the gospel for free to all people. We

  359. share the gospel, but we don't allow people to trample

  360. down the Gospel and the word of God. We will

  361. make them realize that the Word of God is far

  362. more important in our existence as individual. I shall say,

  363. shall we read this one altogether, one to go? The

  364. reason for judgment is not what we might condemn others

  365. that we might be able to minister to them. Even

  366. Mother Curious said, if you judge people, you have no

  367. time to love them. We have seen people who came

  368. into church not change intending to treat other people, but

  369. they come to realize, with the power of the Holy Spirit,

  370. they were changed. And we don't put people down just

  371. because their lives are like those things n's the things.

  372. But we give them chance, hope, and unconditional love because

  373. God loves people, and God wants people to be in

  374. one accord with our life as well. Jesus said again

  375. in John twelve forty six to forty eight, if we

  376. have come into the world as a light, so no

  377. one who believes in me should stay in darkness. If

  378. anyone hears my word, but that not keep them, do

  379. not judge that person, for I do not come to

  380. judge the world, but what to save the world. Because

  381. miss and a gigain problem and not the magapatit, we

  382. become self righteous and we look at others are.

  383. Not Christians Christian Kabba but Christian.

  384. We become too very unreachable that people became shan away

  385. Christian and maraamimbawel Jian. And we have to really make

  386. us stand and say no, we want to engage with people.

  387. That's why our church is engaging a lot of people

  388. out out there. You might oppress, so you might out

  389. of school youth.

  390. A lot of people.

  391. We reach me out because we believe that Jesus came

  392. here to save the world and not to judge them.

  393. We have seen a lot of things happening in this

  394. world because God would want these people to come into

  395. the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The

  396. gospel is free, but it is never cheap because the gospel,

  397. through the Gospel, we were bought by the blood of

  398. the Lamb. And there's a judge for the one who

  399. rejects me and does not accept my words. The very

  400. words I've spoken will condemn them at the last day.

  401. See the last day, God will separate the sheep from

  402. the goat.

  403. Okay, so omaga bosses or bosses can being, and we

  404. can bring can being, then you will be a sheep

  405. once again.
