  1. Romans chapter 5, we're going to be reading from verse 1 through to 11.

    Romans 5 chapter mention

  2. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

  3. through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand.

  4. And we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

  5. Not only that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

  6. and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

  7. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts

  8. through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

  9. For while we were weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

  10. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person, though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die.

  11. But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  12. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

  13. For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,

  14. much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

  15. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

  16. through whom we have now received reconciliation.

  17. I want to begin this morning with a quotation from John Dixon,

  18. whose name will be familiar to most of you,

  19. but part of a bigger section I printed in the bulletin this week, or prepared for the bulletin.

  20. So just listen up as I read it to you.

  21. John Dixon says this,

  22. Early in my Christian life, I was quite blown away by the thought of God's love.

  23. But then things fell apart,

  24. and suddenly I had to confront one of the biggest problems in my Christian life.

  25. Did God love me after all?

  26. Struggling to be committed to God, I had this dark cloud hanging over me.

  27. It was horrible.

  28. For months and months, I felt guilt and doubt,

  29. more guilt, greater doubt, even more guilt.

  30. I remember crying out to God a number of times,

  31. Why don't you love me?

  32. As I meet more and more Christians in my travels,

  33. I'm realizing that my experience back then was quite common.

  34. Many of God's people get caught in a trap where they lose sight of God's love for them in Christ.

  35. Friends, I suspect this same dark cloud has settled on all of us here this morning,

  36. at some time or other.

  37. I definitely know it sits heavily on some believers listening in this morning.

  38. And it's a black cloud.

  39. Well, I want to tell you this morning that Paul's letters to the Christians at Rome

  40. is crafted especially for you, if you're in that situation.

  41. Because as Paul addresses their questions and struggles in the way he structures the letter,

  42. he actually anticipated your questions and struggles and my questions and struggles.

  43. So let's do some revision and see this.

  44. Beck's already sort of done some revision for us this morning.

  45. That's been helpful.

  46. So we look at chapters 1 to 4.

  47. Paul begins where all believers begin.

  48. Chapter 1, verse 16.

  49. Incredible excitement about God's powerful gospel.

  50. God's powerful way to save sinners.

  51. We've understood our desperate need for the gospel of Jesus because we recognize that our unrighteousness

  52. or our failure to live in the light of what we knew about God meant we were under his wrath,

  53. under his condemnation.

  54. We were in big trouble.

  55. Then we've delighted to discover that God has provided an alternative pathway to righteousness

  56. through Jesus who has done for us that which we could never do for ourselves.

  57. Dealt with our sin and made us acceptable to God.

  58. Brought us back into relationship with God.

  59. And all this simply by faith or by taking God at his word or taking God's promises at face value.

  60. It's quite a remarkable story.

  61. We've been there as Christians.

  62. We've experienced it.

  63. We've loved it.

  64. But then the fears and doubts start.

  65. We look at our failures on any given day, any given week, and we start to ask,

  66. well, can I be sure that given my ongoing failures,

  67. can I be sure that God just won't get tired of me?

  68. Can I be sure that I just won't, as it were, wear out his love, exhausted?

  69. Can I be sure he won't drop me in frustration?

  70. Dare I think?

  71. Can I be sure he won't drop me in anger?

  72. And despair?

  73. Can I be sure I will not crash and burn as I struggle on any given day to serve God and be the person I want to be in response to my heavenly father's grace and my life?

  74. And that takes us into chapter 5 then.

  75. And this is exactly, that dilemma is exactly what Paul addresses.

  76. And he does that by listing one after the other.

  77. I said last week, he piles them up one upon the other.

  78. The benefits or guarantee or security of being justified, of being declared to be back in relationship with God.

  79. Last Sunday, we started in chapter 5, we explored some immediate benefits.

  80. We said last week that the gospel means a radical change in the way God views us.

  81. In Jesus, we have a new standing.

  82. So now the relationship is defined by peace.

  83. No longer is there any hostility in it.

  84. There's new intimacy and privilege.

  85. God actually adopts us into his own family.

  86. He gives us unrestricted access to himself.

  87. And we have unrestricted access to the privileges and blessings of the Lord Jesus.

  88. And we have a new orientation.

  89. We're now bound for glory instead of bound for condemnation.

  90. Bound for glory with the prospect of being with Jesus in heaven and being like Jesus.

  91. Bound for glory with the Lord Jesus.

  92. Bound for glory with the Lord Jesus.

  93. Bound for glory with the Lord Jesus.

  94. And it's in that context, so in verse 4 last week, that we can actually appreciate difficult and painful circumstances as they come to us.

  95. Knowing they are what God uses to draw us closer to himself.

  96. To make us more like himself.

  97. And the process here becomes a cycle, a pattern that's self-affirming.

  98. The more we see that happening, the more we experience these painful circumstances, the more we see ourselves developing that character, that Christ-like character that we so long for.

  99. Which confirms that the hope of glory is real.

  100. Little by little, we're moving towards it.

  101. Because that's what God promised.

  102. Well, this morning we continue to explore the gospel benefits listed in verses 5 to 11.

  103. And these benefits, I think, address our deepest fears.

  104. And they give gospel guarantee that in spite of daily struggle, in spite of constant failures,

  105. we will make it home to heaven to experience glory or the fullness of our hope.

  106. My friends, God will finish what he has started by bringing us into good relationship with himself.

  107. He will bring us home to heaven and make us like him.

  108. Now, what's the basis of that guarantee or certainty or security?

  109. Well, in verses 5 to 8 we say that God has already proved his forever love for you.

  110. Now, I mentioned last week that God actually adopts us into his family.

  111. Well, I want to say a little bit more about that now.

  112. Because parents who adopt a child then go to great lengths to help their adopted child be loved and secure in their new family relationship.

  113. They consciously work hard at it.

  114. They know the background of that child.

  115. They want their adopted child to sense an inner commitment and deep affection which is unbreakable.

  116. They want that child to know that never again will they be abandoned.

  117. And they want to reinforce that inner conviction with outward practical demonstrations of their affection and commitment.

  118. Well, that's exactly what God has done for you and me, his adopted children.

  119. He actually proves or confirms and reinforces the reality of his unconditional, unchanging, unfading love.

  120. He does it first by inner confirmation of the Holy Spirit.

  121. Look at verse 5.

  122. Hope never puts us to shame or will never disappoint us.

  123. Because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

  124. That's a very powerful picture word there, isn't it?

  125. God's love has been poured.

  126. Great bucketfuls of God's love has just been poured in till we're filled to the brim.

  127. That's the picture.

  128. That's the picture.

  129. That's the picture.

  130. That's the picture.

  131. God has put his spirit in us.

  132. And one of his jobs, one of his Holy Spirit's jobs, is to pour a sense of God's love into our hearts.

  133. Filling us to the brim, as I say, so that we're vividly and inwardly aware that God loves us.

  134. That there's an unbreakable bond that is so totally committed to us as his saved children.

  135. Ephesians chapter 1, verse 13 to 14.

    Ephesians 1:13–14

  136. You can go and check it out for yourself.

  137. And Paul describes there that the Holy Spirit, the presence and changing activity within us,

  138. as God's deposit and guarantee on his salvation contract.

  139. So the deposit and guarantee is like a contract language.

  140. Like you're buying a house that the purchase is secured when the deposit's paid and the contract's signed.

  141. Well, the Holy Spirit is God's deposit and guarantee of his salvation contract or promise.

  142. What promise?

  143. That we will be loved forever.

  144. And that all his blessings will come.

  145. In other words, to use the word here, hope of glory.

  146. In John chapter 6, 8 to 13, the apostle John uses a different description.

    John 6 chapter mention

  147. He describes how God's spirit is constantly working in his saved people to create conviction of sin and truth.

  148. And from this, says John, confidence of being in God's family and bound for glory.

  149. Now that's a bit more strange to us, I think, because it's not really how we normally think of God convicting us and giving us assurance.

  150. But here's how it works.

  151. I want you to ask yourself, just go back in your mind, just quickly go back in your mind.

  152. Why is it that you're now so very worried about your sin when you weren't worried about it before you become a Christian?

  153. Why?

  154. Answer.

  155. Because God's spirit is working within you to make you like God.

  156. And he does that by helping you see the things that God hates so that you also hate them, and I also hate them,

  157. and helping you see the things that God loves and wants.

  158. So that we also want those things.

  159. See how character develops?

  160. Proven character.

  161. You're concerned, my friend, about your sin.

  162. Hear this really, really careful, because I think we don't hear it.

  163. Your concern about your sin is evidence that you have God's spirit already working in you, and evidence of God's forever love.

  164. You see, we often rob ourselves of this benefit.

  165. And it's a wonderful benefit that we rob ourselves of it, because we actually assume that when we experience God's spirit working within us,

  166. it will be a warm, fuzzy feeling.

  167. And peace will just be dreamy and hassle-free.

  168. Living.

  169. But that's not what the Bible tells us.

  170. I mean, there will be times like that.

  171. But given our sinfulness, it's not going to be predominantly that.

  172. In fact, it may be anything but that.

  173. The reality is that conviction of truth and sin is hard.

  174. It's painful.

  175. I don't like to on my sin.

  176. I don't like to admit that I'm capable of that, even while I say this about the Lord Jesus.

  177. So conviction of sin, by the Holy Spirit in my life, needs to be painful, because I'm a slow, reluctant learner.

  178. It's painful to face.

  179. It's harder to act on.

  180. But it's nonetheless testimony to God's love, having been poured into your life in great back-upfuls,

  181. that God pursues you so that you do see your sin, so that you do come to hate it,

  182. and that you do want to do something about it and seek God's character in your life.

  183. Or again, some might say more positively than Eeyore up here, does it?

  184. Ask yourself, what of that time when suddenly a promise from God,

  185. just when you're reading the Bible, suddenly a verse or a promise leaps out at you.

  186. You've read it dozens of times, and yet you think, hang on a sec, I've never seen that before.

  187. I've never registered that before.

  188. I've never been able to apply it to myself in a way before.

  189. Perhaps it showcases the Lord Jesus in a way you hadn't seen him before,

  190. or showcases the love of the Father,

  191. or showcases your own sin in a way you hadn't seen it before,

  192. or does something that deepens your longing for heaven and affection for Christ.

  193. Well, my friends, again, this is the hidden persuasion of God through the Holy Spirit,

  194. which floods our hearts.

  195. That's the picture.

  196. It just sweeps over you like a flash flood.

  197. Making us profoundly grateful for God's grace,

  198. and giving us confidence in God's promises of glory to come,

  199. even in hard times,

  200. and in the midst of our failures.

  201. Go back to verse 5 again.

  202. Ask for verse 5.

  203. Hope does not put us to shame.

  204. God says,

  205. I promise

  206. you will

  207. experience glory.

  208. We will never be disappointed by God's promise,

  209. because he has reinforced that promise by pouring,

  210. putting the Holy Spirit within us,

  211. to pour his love into our hearts on a daily basis.

  212. As I said before,

  213. great bucketfuls of God's love.

  214. Just topping up,

  215. because it leaks out in the way we think about life,

  216. and experience life.

  217. Always topped up,

  218. never disappointing us.

  219. Well,

  220. the second way in which God operates

  221. is by outward demonstration,

  222. verses 6 to 8.

  223. Now,

  224. we all know the saying.

  225. I've heard it many times from Alison in my marriage,

  226. to my shame.

  227. Don't just say you love me.

  228. Show you love me.

  229. So,

  230. what does God's actions

  231. demonstrate about the nature

  232. and extent

  233. of his love for his people?

  234. Well,

  235. verses 6 through to 8.

  236. While we were still weak,

  237. at the right time,

  238. or the most judicious time,

  239. Christ died for the ungodly.

  240. one would scarcely die for a righteous person.

  241. That's a person who had something going for them

  242. that was really worthwhile dying for.

  243. Though,

  244. perhaps,

  245. for a

  246. reasonable person,

  247. one would dare even to die.

  248. But God shows his love for us in this,

  249. that while we were still sinners,

  250. Christ died for us.

  251. My friends,

  252. in that sentence,

  253. we're told that God's love

  254. was all in.

  255. born and expressed

  256. an incredible cost to himself.

  257. Even more amazing,

  258. it was a totally unique love.

  259. As the picture gives us here,

  260. we are highly unlikely

  261. to give up our life

  262. for someone we thought

  263. had lots going for them.

  264. Let alone a down and out

  265. living under some bridge

  266. or some serial rapist

  267. or murderer.

  268. But God acts to love

  269. and save those

  270. who are totally

  271. offensive to him.

  272. Who have nothing at all

  273. to commend themselves

  274. to him.

  275. Just look at these verses

  276. and see how God viewed us

  277. before he poured his love

  278. onto us.

  279. We were powerless.

  280. It's a strange word

  281. because at the same time,

  282. we were aggressively committed.

  283. We were powerless.

  284. And yet we were aggressively

  285. committed to treating God

  286. with indifference

  287. or veiled contempt.

  288. That was at best.

  289. And at worst,

  290. just treating God

  291. as an enemy.

  292. Ignoring.

  293. Rejecting.

  294. Despising his authority.

  295. Despising that

  296. he described

  297. and defined

  298. and offered to us

  299. as the good life.

  300. In response,

  301. verse 10,

  302. God declared us

  303. to be his enemies.

  304. Those with whom

  305. he would have nothing

  306. to do

  307. except hostility.

  308. What sort of God

  309. would love people

  310. like you and me

  311. who are so

  312. unlovely,

  313. so undeserving,

  314. so horrible

  315. in the way

  316. that we treated him

  317. before we were converted.

  318. And all the while,

  319. like Nemo,

  320. being totally oblivious

  321. to the predicament

  322. we were in.

  323. And we're told here

  324. that knowing

  325. all of this,

  326. knowing the very worst

  327. about us,

  328. Jesus died

  329. for the likes

  330. of you and me.

  331. That's a pretty

  332. strong demonstration

  333. of love.

  334. Friends,

  335. God has proved

  336. the nature

  337. and extent

  338. of his love

  339. for you

  340. as Jesus

  341. went to the cross.

  342. And since

  343. his commitment

  344. to you

  345. was made initially,

  346. knowing the worst

  347. about you,

  348. then

  349. he's not going

  350. to change his mind

  351. about you.

  352. It's not as if

  353. we get into

  354. the relationship

  355. a couple of years

  356. and he thinks,

  357. oh,

  358. blimey,

  359. Charlie,

  360. if I'd known then

  361. what I know now

  362. about Calderwood,

  363. I would never

  364. have started

  365. this relationship.

  366. That's how

  367. everybody else

  368. reacts to me.

  369. But not the Lord,

  370. thankfully.

  371. He knew the worst

  372. about me

  373. when he committed

  374. to me.

  375. He's not going

  376. to change his mind.

  377. Nothing draws

  378. a loving response

  379. from a wife

  380. more than

  381. when a husband

  382. leads off

  383. with a selfless,

  384. constant,

  385. costly,

  386. unconditional love.

  387. So my friends,

  388. I say to you this morning,

  389. if anything,

  390. if anything

  391. will find

  392. your trust in God,

  393. your desire for God,

  394. your delight in God,

  395. then surely

  396. understanding

  397. something of the

  398. nature and extent

  399. of God's love

  400. will be it.

  401. So the second

  402. part of our

  403. certainty

  404. or guarantee

  405. of getting

  406. your glory

  407. is that

  408. if you're a Christian,

  409. then God's

  410. already done

  411. the hard part.

  412. The rest

  413. is easy.

  414. Picking up

  415. verses 9 to 11.

  416. If you see

  417. a high jumper

  418. clearing

  419. the bar

  420. at 2 metres,

  421. then you've

  422. got pretty

  423. great confidence

  424. that he'll be

  425. able to clear

  426. the bar

  427. at 300 mils.

  428. In other words,

  429. having achieved

  430. the much harder

  431. task,

  432. the easier

  433. is just a matter

  434. of course.

  435. And that's

  436. exactly what

  437. Paul's argument

  438. is in verses

  439. 9 to 11.

  440. Since

  441. God has

  442. already

  443. at great

  444. cost

  445. reconciled

  446. his enemies,

  447. then there

  448. is no doubt

  449. whatsoever

  450. that he will

  451. keep his

  452. friends.

  453. Since he has

  454. reconciled his

  455. enemies,

  456. that he has

  457. made his

  458. enemies into

  459. his friends,

  460. then there is

  461. no doubt

  462. that he will

  463. actually keep

  464. those friends

  465. as friends.

  466. since he's

  467. already done

  468. the much

  469. harder work

  470. of dealing

  471. with our

  472. sin,

  473. adopting us

  474. into his

  475. family with

  476. unrestricted

  477. privilege and

  478. blessing,

  479. how much

  480. more will he

  481. do the

  482. easier part

  483. of bringing

  484. his renewed

  485. people home to

  486. glory?

  487. him.

  488. How do we

  489. know that

  490. for sure?

  491. Well, go

  492. back again to

  493. Jesus.

  494. It's all about

  495. Jesus.

  496. Because of

  497. Christ's death,

  498. Jesus died

  499. for us.

  500. Jesus paid

  501. the penalty

  502. for our

  503. sins.

  504. that, we've

  505. already seen

  506. in the

  507. early chapters,

  508. removed all

  509. causes of

  510. hostility on

  511. God's part,

  512. enabling him

  513. to accept

  514. me just

  515. as if I'd

  516. justified,

  517. just as if

  518. I'd never

  519. ever sinned.

  520. The benefit

  521. of Christ's

  522. death in

  523. the past,

  524. which you

  525. and I

  526. as Christians

  527. currently

  528. enjoy,

  529. is also

  530. the guarantee

  531. that we

  532. will make

  533. it to

  534. heaven.

  535. So it's

  536. Christ's

  537. death, but

  538. it's also

  539. because of

  540. Christ's

  541. life,

  542. verse 10.

  543. For if

  544. while we

  545. were enemies

  546. were reconciled

  547. to God

  548. by the

  549. death of

  550. his son,

  551. much more

  552. now that

  553. we are

  554. reconciled,

  555. shall we

  556. be saved

  557. by his

  558. life.

  559. life?

  560. The fact

  561. that Christ

  562. rose from

  563. the dead

  564. and is

  565. now alive

  566. in heaven

  567. is proof

  568. that his

  569. death was

  570. sufficient

  571. to deal

  572. with all

  573. the sin

  574. and penalty

  575. due to,

  576. sorry,

  577. all the sin,

  578. all the penalty

  579. of the sin

  580. due to his

  581. people,

  582. and evidence

  583. that all

  584. God's wrath

  585. has been

  586. dealt with

  587. and soaked

  588. up,

  589. never more

  590. to be seen

  591. in the

  592. relationship.

  593. In other

  594. words,

  595. if soaking

  596. up God's

  597. anger

  598. and paying

  599. the penalty

  600. for sin

  601. was why

  602. Jesus died,

  603. then the

  604. fact that he

  605. was resurrected

  606. or he came

  607. back from

  608. the dead

  609. shows that

  610. all that

  611. wrath,

  612. all that

  613. sin has

  614. been dealt

  615. with,

  616. and there's

  617. no reason

  618. therefore for

  619. Jesus to

  620. stay dead

  621. as it were.

  622. His

  623. resurrection

  624. is proof

  625. that he

  626. achieved

  627. what he

  628. intended

  629. to achieve

  630. in his

  631. death,

  632. that is,

  633. the

  634. reconciliation

  635. of his

  636. enemies,

  637. turning his

  638. enemies into

  639. friends,

  640. bringing them

  641. into his

  642. family,

  643. his adopted

  644. children.

  645. But even

  646. more,

  647. his presence

  648. before God

  649. with the

  650. marks of

  651. death and

  652. the cross

  653. still in

  654. his body

  655. is actually

  656. a visible

  657. reminder

  658. to God

  659. that all

  660. his people

  661. that have

  662. been bought

  663. back,

  664. and restored

  665. to family

  666. membership

  667. and family

  668. privilege.

  669. Friends,

  670. I hope

  671. you can

  672. say something

  673. of the

  674. assurance

  675. that is

  676. ours

  677. as Christ

  678. believing

  679. people.

  680. This is

  681. just not

  682. sentimental

  683. optimism.

  684. This is

  685. fact,

  686. this is

  687. logic.

  688. this is

  689. the statement

  690. of God

  691. himself.

  692. Any

  693. problem we

  694. have

  695. with a

  696. lack of

  697. assurance

  698. is usually

  699. of our

  700. own making,

  701. not because

  702. God has

  703. done something

  704. that is

  705. uncertain.

  706. And here's

  707. what I think

  708. the problem

  709. is.

  710. Too often

  711. we focus

  712. on the

  713. death of

  714. Christ,

  715. Christ.

  716. And that's

  717. a good

  718. thing to

  719. focus on

  720. because we

  721. know that

  722. on the

  723. death of

  724. Christ we

  725. have entered

  726. into good

  727. relationship

  728. with God.

  729. But too

  730. often also

  731. we forget

  732. about the

  733. ongoing life

  734. of Jesus,

  735. his resurrection

  736. life in

  737. heaven,

  738. which guarantees

  739. that what

  740. God started

  741. back there

  742. at the cross

  743. will be

  744. completed in

  745. the future

  746. in glory,

  747. in heaven.

  748. We need

  749. to remind

  750. ourselves that

  751. since God

  752. has done the

  753. hardest thing

  754. in changing

  755. us from

  756. enemies into

  757. family members

  758. through the

  759. death of

  760. Christ,

  761. then the

  762. easiest part

  763. is it

  764. where of

  765. Jesus reminding

  766. the Father

  767. that all his

  768. people have

  769. been secured

  770. and the job

  771. of keeping us

  772. to heaven

  773. will also

  774. happen.

  775. So here's

  776. the problem

  777. in a nutshell.

  778. we often

  779. think separately

  780. about our

  781. being justified

  782. and our

  783. being glorified

  784. or brought

  785. to heaven

  786. and made

  787. like Jesus.

  788. See, we

  789. separate

  790. what God

  791. keeps together

  792. inseparably.

  793. Justification

  794. ends in

  795. glorification.

  796. It's not

  797. justification

  798. then you're

  799. left on your

  800. own whether

  801. you're good

  802. or bad

  803. or indifferent.

  804. Justification

  805. means glorification.

  806. He will

  807. never do

  808. one without

  809. the other

  810. in your

  811. life.

  812. In fact,

  813. if you're a

  814. believer,

  815. you can say

  816. with confidence

  817. that having

  818. done one,

  819. he will

  820. do the

  821. other.

  822. peace,

  823. peace,

  824. adoption

  825. into his

  826. family,

  827. the enjoyment

  828. of all the

  829. privileges that

  830. are Jesus's,

  831. the certainty

  832. of being with

  833. Jesus,

  834. being like

  835. Jesus,

  836. and all

  837. this

  838. demonstrated

  839. and constantly

  840. reaffirmed

  841. as God

  842. pours his

  843. love into

  844. us on a

  845. daily basis

  846. by the

  847. Holy Spirit

  848. and

  849. demonstrated

  850. his love

  851. for us

  852. in Jesus.

  853. All that

  854. demonstrates

  855. God's

  856. unconditional

  857. forever

  858. committed

  859. love for

  860. us.

  861. Friends,

  862. it's a bit

  863. of a cliche

  864. but I tell

  865. you,

  866. it doesn't

  867. get any

  868. better than

  869. that.

  870. Join me

  871. in prayer.

  872. It really

  873. doesn't get

  874. any better

  875. than that.

  876. Lord,

  877. we struggle

  878. even to

  879. articulate

  880. it.

  881. We struggle

  882. even more

  883. to make

  884. sure we

  885. keep on

  886. experiencing

  887. it.

  888. We just

  889. find it so

  890. hard to

  891. take you

  892. at your

  893. word.

  894. We keep

  895. separating

  896. that which

  897. you have

  898. put together.

  899. It's as if

  900. we think

  901. we've been

  902. brought back

  903. into good

  904. relationship

  905. with you

  906. and then

  907. you leave

  908. us flailing

  909. around in

  910. our own

  911. devices and

  912. our own

  913. resources.

  914. But Lord,

  915. help us to

  916. see that what

  917. you start,

  918. you finish.

  919. You've

  920. justified us

  921. and you

  922. will glorify

  923. us.

  924. You've

  925. called us to

  926. yourself here

  927. in this

  928. world and

  929. you will

  930. call us

  931. home to

  932. yourself in

  933. heaven.

  934. Help us

  935. to believe

  936. that.

  937. Help us

  938. to delight

  939. in you

  940. because of

  941. it.

  942. Help us

  943. to be

  944. safe and

  945. secure in

  946. it.

  947. in

  948. Jesus'

  949. name I

  950. pray.

  951. Amen.

  952. Thank you

  953. very much.
