  1. We're going to do the Bible reading now, so if you'd like to open your Bibles or your devices or Don's favourite app to Psalm 32.

  2. That's right, Don, I pay attention to those talks.

  3. Psalm 32, reading the whole chapter.

  4. A mascal of David.

  5. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

  6. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in his spirit there is no deceit.

  7. For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.

  8. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me.

  9. My strength was dried up as by the heat of summer.

  10. Salah.

  11. I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity.

  12. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

  13. Salah.

  14. Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found.

  15. Surely in the rush of great waters they shall not reach him.

  16. You are a hiding place for me.

  17. You preserve me from trouble.

  18. You surround me with shouts of deliverance.

  19. Salah.

  20. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.

  21. I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

  22. Be not like a horse or a mule without understanding,

  23. which must be curbed with bitten bridle, or it will not stay near you.

  24. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.

  25. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

  26. I play bowls.

  27. I've just brought these two bowls along to grade that.

  28. The bowls have a big, big round side and a little side.

  29. The little side is the one that's biased.

  30. In other words, if you bowl it, you want it so the little ring is going towards the jack, the kitty.

  31. Okay?

  32. But if you happen to not think what you're doing,

  33. and you're holding it the same way, and you forget the check,

  34. you'll roll a wrong bias.

  35. When you roll a wrong bias at bowls, everybody knows about it.

  36. They all give a big shout and name and shame you,

  37. and you have to put a dollar in the box that goes to charity.

  38. So it's a name and shame situation,

  39. and I lead on a Friday with a couple of brothers,

  40. and here I try to get as close as I can to that jack.

  41. And if I can get my three bowls really close to the jack,

  42. I think it's great.

  43. The only trouble is it becomes a target then for everybody else,

  44. and they want to knock me off.

  45. My opponents want to get rid of it.

  46. Okay.

  47. Why am I telling you this?

  48. Well, I think it's a good example for a Christian to keep their eyes on the goal,

  49. to always have your bias towards Christ,

  50. and to get close to him, as close as possible.

  51. But there are times, and there will be times,

  52. when we forget to check our bias.

  53. We move our eyes onto something that's tempting us,

  54. and before long we know we've moved away with the temptation.

  55. We enter into the temptation.

  56. We turn away from Christ

  57. to satisfy our own desires.

  58. But it's never pleasant when you're found out,

  59. and everyone seems to notice it,

  60. and especially the Lord himself.

  61. Let's pray.

  62. Father,

  63. sometimes silly examples,

  64. everyday life examples,

  65. can give us a lesson

  66. of where we should be aiming

  67. in this life.

  68. and I pray today

  69. that by your spirit

  70. you might open our eyes

  71. to see the truth

  72. as it is in Jesus,

  73. the truth as it is in his word.

  74. We thank you

  75. that his word lives

  76. and abides forever,

  77. and it will be effectual today

  78. in each of our hearts.

  79. And I pray this in Christ's name.

  80. Amen.

  81. Amen.

  82. Amen.

  83. Amen.

  84. Amen.

  85. Amen.

  86. One day,

  87. when I was playing against this fellow,

  88. I played against him a number of times,

  89. but hadn't for a long time.

  90. He happened to pick up my bowl,

  91. and on all bowls I have a symbol.

  92. Everybody has their own symbol.

  93. I identify them as theirs in particular.

  94. And this fellow this day,

  95. he picked up mine.

  96. It's pretty hard to read mine.

  97. And he said,

  98. what's this PS 116?

  99. I said,

  100. oh,

  101. it's my favourite psalm.

  102. I said,

  103. I love the Lord because...

  104. He said,

  105. oh.

  106. The conversation finished.

  107. So,

  108. my message today

  109. is just based on these five words.

  110. I love the Lord because...

  111. Three headings.

  112. You've got them there on your sheet.

  113. I love...

  114. King David loved the Lord because...

  115. I love the Lord because...

  116. But the question is,

  117. do you love the Lord because...

  118. King David loved the Lord.

  119. But what does the word love mean?

  120. Love's always been on the agenda,

  121. countless songs have been written about love.

  122. One of the songs I used to love singing was,

  123. love is a many splendid thing.

  124. And one of the lines says,

  125. out of the morning mist two lovers kissed

  126. and the world stood still.

  127. Wow.

  128. That's some kiss.

  129. I remember the first date I had with my wife June,

  130. who was to be my wife.

  131. When I kissed a good night,

  132. I knew that was the girl I was going to marry.

  133. And I did.

  134. I'd kissed plenty of girls before,

  135. but this one.

  136. Wow.

  137. It was a kiss to drill the dream on.

  138. However, that's not

  139. the sort of love that God

  140. inspired King David to write about.

  141. Vines, one of the word commentators says,

  142. love can only be known from the action it prompts.

  143. Actions towards the object of our love.

  144. King David says,

  145. I love the Lord because...

  146. But King David didn't always love the Lord.

  147. It was only because the Lord first loved him

  148. at a young age.

  149. God inspired him to write many songs.

  150. You remember, if you remember the children's dress

  151. I did here some weeks ago in Psalm 14,

  152. when it talked about,

  153. that the Lord looks down from heaven

  154. upon the children and men

  155. to see if there are any who understand,

  156. who seek God.

  157. They've all turned aside.

  158. They have together become corrupt.

  159. There's none who does good.

  160. No, not one.

  161. Not even David.

  162. And yet he said he loves God.

  163. He loves the Lord.

  164. And that was David.

  165. But he was one of those none.

  166. He was not righteous before the living God.

  167. He was a sinner just like you and I.

  168. But now,

  169. as a saved sinner,

  170. he loves the Lord.

  171. You here this morning,

  172. remember,

  173. he was inspired to write Psalm 23.

  174. Another five word.

  175. The Lord is my shepherd.

  176. Now,

  177. here in our text,

  178. it's not from Psalm 23,

  179. or 32 I should say,

  180. but from my bowls.

  181. I love the Lord

  182. because.

  183. It's very revealing when you think about it.

  184. It's very revealing when you think about it.

  185. Because why

  186. does he love the Lord?

  187. Well,

  188. if you've got Psalm 32

  189. open in your Bibles,

  190. you'll see

  191. he loves the Lord

  192. for who he is.

  193. That's the first thing.

  194. Not for what he's done first,

  195. but for who he is.

  196. David knows him

  197. as the creator

  198. of the heavens

  199. and the earth,

  200. the sea

  201. and the skies

  202. and every living soul

  203. that breathes.

  204. Every living creature.

  205. He's the sustainer.

  206. He's the controller.

  207. He has everything

  208. under his sovereign hand.

  209. He's the one

  210. who makes the sun to rise

  211. and the moon to rise

  212. and set.

  213. The rain to fall,

  214. the dust to rise.

  215. He keeps the great oceans

  216. within its bounds

  217. that he has set.

  218. Yes,

  219. he's the creator.

  220. He's the sustainer.

  221. Psalm 24,

  222. if you have a look at that,

  223. it says here

  224. in this verse

  225. one and two,

  226. the earth is the Lord's

  227. and all its fullness,

  228. the world

  229. and those

  230. who dwell therein,

  231. for he has founded it

  232. upon the seas

  233. and established it

  234. upon the waters.

  235. Down in verse seven,

  236. lift up your heads,

  237. O your gates,

  238. and be lifted up,

  239. your everlasting doors,

  240. and the king of glory

  241. shall come in.

  242. Who is this king of glory?

  243. The Lord strong

  244. and mighty,

  245. the Lord mighty

  246. in battle.

  247. Lift up your heads,

  248. O your gates.

  249. Lift up your

  250. everlasting doors,

  251. and the king of glory

  252. shall come in.

  253. Who is this king of glory?

  254. The Lord of hosts.

  255. He is the king of glory.

  256. David knew him

  257. as he is

  258. the king of glory.

  259. He knows the Lord

  260. and the Lord knows him.

  261. He knows every word

  262. and thought and deed

  263. that King David

  264. ever committed.

  265. David loves the Lord

  266. for who he is

  267. and he loves the Lord

  268. for what he has done.

  269. You remember

  270. about that

  271. wrong bias?

  272. You can be

  273. balding the same ball.

  274. You can look

  275. as though you're

  276. approaching the bat

  277. the same way.

  278. You can get down

  279. and you balde smoothly off

  280. and you forget to check

  281. and the ball goes

  282. away from

  283. where it's designed

  284. to go.

  285. You remember

  286. the occasion

  287. of David's wrong bias,

  288. particularly wrong bias.

  289. in 2 Samuel 11,

  290. there was David.

  291. He should have been

  292. out on the battlefield

  293. but he wasn't

  294. and he's just

  295. walking around

  296. his parapet

  297. and he happened

  298. to glance over

  299. the side

  300. and what happened?

  301. He sees this beautiful

  302. married woman

  303. down there

  304. naked,

  305. Bathsheba.

  306. Instead of walking away,

  307. he gets his servants

  308. to go and get that woman.

  309. And he commits adultery

  310. with that woman

  311. and sends her back

  312. to her house.

  313. And a few months later

  314. she tells him,

  315. sends a message

  316. and says,

  317. I'm pregnant.

  318. I'm carrying your child.

  319. And so what's he going

  320. to do?

  321. He calls her husband

  322. out of the army.

  323. He's fighting the battles.

  324. He's fighting

  325. King David's battles

  326. and he calls him

  327. to come home

  328. and David gives him

  329. a feast,

  330. asks him about the battle

  331. and then says,

  332. well, you go back

  333. to your own house now

  334. and then go back

  335. to the battle

  336. but he wouldn't do it.

  337. He said, no.

  338. He said, all the armies

  339. are in tents.

  340. He said, I'm not going to go.

  341. He just slept there

  342. with the servants.

  343. David tried to get him

  344. to do it a couple of times

  345. but he wouldn't do it

  346. and eventually

  347. David writes a note.

  348. He sends it off

  349. to Joab,

  350. his commander,

  351. and he says,

  352. put this man,

  353. Uriah,

  354. in the forefront

  355. of the battle

  356. and leave him

  357. and of course

  358. Uriah gets killed.

  359. David not only

  360. committed adultery,

  361. tried to cover it up,

  362. commits murder

  363. and after this lady

  364. has mourned

  365. for his loss

  366. for husband,

  367. he takes this lady

  368. for his own wife.

  369. He thinks he can

  370. get away with it

  371. but everybody knows.

  372. His servants

  373. knew what he had done.

  374. No doubt

  375. his other wives knew.

  376. Women seemed

  377. to know these things.

  378. His children

  379. must have known.

  380. God knew

  381. and he sent Nathan

  382. the prophet along

  383. and this child

  384. is born to David

  385. and Bathsheba

  386. and Nathan

  387. comes along

  388. and he tells him

  389. this story

  390. about this rich man

  391. had all his sheep

  392. and the poor man

  393. had one little

  394. ewe lamb

  395. and the rich man

  396. wanted to put on

  397. a feast for somebody

  398. so he took

  399. the one little

  400. ewe lamb

  401. and killed it

  402. and David

  403. as the king

  404. was incensed

  405. he said

  406. he should die

  407. and Nathan said

  408. you are the man.

  409. You are the man.

  410. It cost David,

  411. it cost Bathsheba

  412. the death

  413. of their child.

  414. But you know

  415. God in his mercy

  416. reinstated

  417. this child

  418. of his.

  419. David was a believer

  420. he had a wrong bias

  421. and he committed

  422. a great sin

  423. and a great crime

  424. and so David

  425. writes

  426. a psalm

  427. psalm.

  428. Some believe

  429. that this

  430. psalm

  431. comes after

  432. Psalm 51

  433. not chronological order

  434. in the scriptures

  435. here

  436. but it comes

  437. after Psalm 51

  438. you remember

  439. Psalm 51

  440. where David

  441. confesses his sin

  442. he says

  443. Lord

  444. I was born in sin

  445. and shapen

  446. and iniquity

  447. and in sin

  448. did my mother

  449. conceive me

  450. he said

  451. against you

  452. and you only

  453. have I sinned

  454. and done this

  455. evil in your sight

  456. he didn't say

  457. against Uriah

  458. he didn't say

  459. against Bathsheba

  460. he didn't say

  461. against his family

  462. and friends

  463. and against the

  464. nation

  465. but his first

  466. thought was

  467. against God

  468. he'd sinned

  469. and done this

  470. evil in his sight

  471. and then David

  472. later on

  473. writes this

  474. psalm

  475. he loves

  476. the Lord

  477. because

  478. blessed is he

  479. whose transgression

  480. is forgiven

  481. whose sin

  482. is covered

  483. blessed is the man

  484. to whom the Lord

  485. does not impute

  486. iniquity

  487. and in whose spirit

  488. there is no guile

  489. or no deceit

  490. so David

  491. loves the Lord

  492. because he

  493. has been

  494. forgiven

  495. but he also

  496. loves the Lord

  497. for what he

  498. is

  499. he is

  500. doing

  501. now look at

  502. psalm 32

  503. and verse 6

  504. for this cause

  505. everyone who

  506. is godly

  507. shall pray

  508. to you

  509. in the time

  510. when you

  511. may be found

  512. surely in a

  513. flood of great

  514. waters

  515. they shall not

  516. come near him

  517. you are my

  518. hiding place

  519. you shall preserve

  520. me from trouble

  521. you shall surround

  522. me with songs

  523. of deliverance

  524. David knows

  525. this great

  526. work

  527. that's going

  528. that God

  529. is doing

  530. in him

  531. and for him

  532. he prays

  533. to the Lord

  534. he's not

  535. worried about

  536. all the attacks

  537. that are going

  538. to come upon

  539. him

  540. because he

  541. knows he

  542. has a hiding

  543. place in his

  544. God

  545. and he loves

  546. the Lord

  547. for where

  548. he will be

  549. for all

  550. eternity

  551. in psalm 23

  552. we all know

  553. it ends up

  554. with

  555. and I shall

  556. be in the

  557. house of the

  558. Lord

  559. forever

  560. so David

  561. had great

  562. cause to

  563. say

  564. I love

  565. the Lord

  566. because

  567. but myself

  568. I love

  569. the Lord

  570. because

  571. one of the

  572. reasons I put

  573. it on my

  574. bowels

  575. because it

  576. has so much

  577. meaning for

  578. me

  579. I love

  580. the Lord

  581. because he

  582. heard my

  583. cry and my

  584. supplication

  585. because he

  586. inclined his

  587. ear unto me

  588. therefore I'll

  589. call upon him

  590. all the days

  591. of my life

  592. what a blessing

  593. that has been

  594. to me

  595. Vine says

  596. love

  597. love

  598. can only

  599. be known

  600. by the

  601. action it

  602. prompts

  603. I was like

  604. David

  605. a sinner

  606. against the

  607. holy God

  608. but now

  609. I am saved

  610. by his

  611. grace

  612. and I too

  613. thank him

  614. for who he is

  615. for what he's

  616. done on the

  617. cross

  618. and going to

  619. Calvary

  620. and bearing my

  621. sins and

  622. iniquities

  623. in his body

  624. on that tree

  625. by going to

  626. the grave

  627. and rising

  628. again

  629. and ascending

  630. on high

  631. and forgiving

  632. my sins

  633. I thank him

  634. and I love

  635. him for what

  636. he is doing

  637. interceding

  638. in my life

  639. providing all

  640. my needs

  641. according to

  642. his riches

  643. in glory

  644. and he's

  645. working in me

  646. to will

  647. and to do

  648. of his good

  649. pleasure

  650. I thank him

  651. and praise him

  652. and love him

  653. for the assurance

  654. that I will be

  655. with him

  656. and all his

  657. people in

  658. heaven forever

  659. you remember

  660. Romans 8

  661. 1 says

  662. there is therefore

  663. now no condemnation

  664. to those that are

  665. in Christ Jesus

  666. for the law

  667. of the spirit

  668. of life

  669. in Christ Jesus

  670. made me free

  671. from the law

  672. of sin and death

  673. in verses 28

  674. through 30

  675. all things

  676. work together

  677. for good

  678. to those

  679. who love God

  680. to those

  681. who are called

  682. according to his

  683. purpose

  684. and you know

  685. that's

  686. that's the reason

  687. why

  688. I love

  689. the Lord

  690. but I do

  691. put down

  692. some wrong

  693. biases

  694. I must tell

  695. you

  696. people at

  697. Bowles

  698. when I do

  699. it at Bowles

  700. they all

  701. give a big

  702. shout

  703. they all

  704. name and

  705. shame me

  706. but in

  707. real life

  708. I do put

  709. down

  710. wrong

  711. biases

  712. and I

  713. have to

  714. pay the

  715. price

  716. when I

  717. sin

  718. true love

  719. for the

  720. Lord

  721. shows

  722. itself

  723. in

  724. heartfelt

  725. repentance

  726. and a

  727. renewed

  728. love

  729. for

  730. Christ

  731. you remember

  732. in 1 John

  733. it says

  734. if we

  735. confess

  736. our sins

  737. he's

  738. faithful

  739. and just

  740. to forgive

  741. us our

  742. sins

  743. and cleanse

  744. us from

  745. all

  746. unrighteousness

  747. Gareth

  748. reminded the

  749. children about

  750. that this

  751. morning

  752. I love

  753. the Lord

  754. for his

  755. word

  756. his word

  757. is a lamp

  758. under my

  759. feet and

  760. a light

  761. under my

  762. path

  763. I love

  764. the assembly

  765. of his

  766. people

  767. you here

  768. today

  769. as we

  770. come to

  771. worship him

  772. in spirit

  773. and in

  774. truth

  775. I love

  776. telling other

  777. people

  778. about the

  779. mercies

  780. of the

  781. Lord

  782. when that

  783. man picked

  784. up my

  785. bold

  786. and asked

  787. me what

  788. that

  789. PS116

  790. was

  791. I said

  792. I love

  793. the Lord

  794. because that

  795. was the

  796. end of the

  797. conversation

  798. with him

  799. but there

  800. will be

  801. other

  802. opportunities

  803. and I

  804. hope I'll

  805. be able to

  806. tell him

  807. about the

  808. love of

  809. Christ

  810. I was

  811. no king

  812. but now

  813. I am a

  814. king and

  815. priest

  816. and God

  817. and I

  818. love the

  819. Lord

  820. because

  821. of all

  822. this

  823. but the

  824. big question

  825. this morning

  826. is

  827. King David

  828. is not

  829. here

  830. I'm here

  831. but I'm

  832. on my

  833. way out

  834. but what

  835. about you

  836. do you

  837. love the

  838. Lord

  839. because

  840. I mean

  841. it's a

  842. very personal

  843. question

  844. isn't it

  845. one day

  846. we're all

  847. going to

  848. have to

  849. stand before

  850. the living

  851. God

  852. and we

  853. are going

  854. to have

  855. to give

  856. an account

  857. of our

  858. lives

  859. the only

  860. ones that

  861. are going

  862. to heaven

  863. are those

  864. who love

  865. the Lord

  866. Jesus

  867. who are

  868. first loved

  869. by him

  870. and then

  871. love him

  872. for all

  873. eternity

  874. the only

  875. ones going

  876. to heaven

  877. are those

  878. who have

  879. been shown

  880. their sins

  881. and their

  882. need of

  883. repentance

  884. and faith

  885. and they've

  886. got down

  887. on their

  888. knees

  889. and they've

  890. said

  891. Lord

  892. forgive me

  893. my sin

  894. is against

  895. you

  896. and you

  897. only have

  898. a sin

  899. and done

  900. this evil

  901. in your

  902. sight

  903. and let

  904. me tell

  905. you

  906. until God

  907. convicts

  908. you that

  909. your sin

  910. your lies

  911. your deceit

  912. and all

  913. those other

  914. things that

  915. you do

  916. that are

  917. contrary to

  918. God's will

  919. unless you

  920. see that

  921. they're against

  922. the holy

  923. God

  924. you'll never

  925. see your

  926. sin

  927. whilst ever

  928. we compare

  929. ourselves with

  930. other people

  931. and try to

  932. say well I'm

  933. not as bad

  934. as they are

  935. you'll have

  936. a wrong

  937. bias all

  938. the time

  939. you'll never

  940. come to

  941. Christ

  942. but we

  943. really need

  944. to see that

  945. this sin

  946. is against

  947. the holy

  948. God

  949. before whom

  950. we will

  951. stand

  952. and when

  953. he asked

  954. you why

  955. should I

  956. let you

  957. into my

  958. kingdom

  959. what are

  960. you going

  961. to say

  962. oh I

  963. wasn't as bad

  964. as the other

  965. blokes

  966. I never

  967. committed

  968. adultery

  969. I never

  970. murdered

  971. anybody

  972. I must

  973. told a

  974. few

  975. lies

  976. stretched

  977. the truth

  978. a bit

  979. and may

  980. have been

  981. a bit

  982. deceitful

  983. and probably

  984. didn't honour

  985. my father

  986. and my mother

  987. I ought to

  988. have done

  989. and I

  990. didn't worry

  991. about you

  992. know meeting

  993. on Sundays

  994. with the people

  995. he said

  996. you know

  997. the kids

  998. were playing

  999. sport

  1000. it was more

  1001. important

  1002. for me

  1003. to take

  1004. to the

  1005. sport

  1006. more

  1007. important

  1008. to have

  1009. the family

  1010. barbecue

  1011. more

  1012. important

  1013. to meet

  1014. with the

  1015. family

  1016. than to

  1017. come to

  1018. church

  1019. but I'm

  1020. not a

  1021. bad

  1022. bloke

  1023. well let

  1024. me tell

  1025. you it

  1026. won't cut

  1027. the mustard

  1028. I think

  1029. that was

  1030. the saying

  1031. I don't

  1032. know what

  1033. the saying

  1034. is today

  1035. but it

  1036. won't pass

  1037. the pub

  1038. test

  1039. it won't

  1040. pass

  1041. the Lord

  1042. love can

  1043. only be

  1044. known by

  1045. the action

  1046. it prompts

  1047. so

  1048. unbeliever

  1049. do you

  1050. love the

  1051. Lord for

  1052. the simple

  1053. reason

  1054. you don't

  1055. love the

  1056. Lord for

  1057. the simple

  1058. reason that

  1059. you don't

  1060. know him

  1061. now

  1062. you don't

  1063. have a

  1064. personal

  1065. relationship

  1066. with him

  1067. you're still

  1068. in your

  1069. sin and

  1070. without God

  1071. and without

  1072. hope in

  1073. this world

  1074. or that

  1075. to come

  1076. you're

  1077. alienated

  1078. from the

  1079. household of

  1080. God

  1081. your only

  1082. hope is

  1083. escaping

  1084. God's

  1085. wrath

  1086. is

  1087. eternity

  1088. in hell

  1089. and eternity

  1090. in hell

  1091. is to be

  1092. found in

  1093. the love

  1094. and mercy

  1095. of God

  1096. himself

  1097. so fall

  1098. on your

  1099. knees

  1100. turn your

  1101. heart

  1102. towards

  1103. him

  1104. have

  1105. your

  1106. bias

  1107. towards

  1108. him

  1109. who

  1110. loved

  1111. the world

  1112. so much

  1113. that he

  1114. gave

  1115. himself

  1116. and you'll

  1117. know

  1118. the joy

  1119. of having

  1120. sins

  1121. forgiven

  1122. past

  1123. present

  1124. and future

  1125. and then

  1126. and only

  1127. then will

  1128. you be

  1129. able to

  1130. say

  1131. with

  1132. King

  1133. David

  1134. and me

  1135. and all

  1136. other

  1137. sinners

  1138. here today

  1139. I love

  1140. the Lord

  1141. because

  1142. let's

  1143. pray

  1144. father we're

  1145. grateful to

  1146. be here

  1147. to know

  1148. that there

  1149. is a

  1150. God

  1151. who reigns

  1152. over all

  1153. things

  1154. the creator

  1155. of all

  1156. things

  1157. the sustainer

  1158. of all

  1159. things

  1160. the one

  1161. who

  1162. gives us

  1163. every breath

  1164. that we

  1165. breathe

  1166. the one

  1167. who knows

  1168. our thoughts

  1169. and the

  1170. intents of

  1171. our hearts

  1172. and yet

  1173. you

  1174. send a

  1175. word like

  1176. this today

  1177. to encourage

  1178. the believer

  1179. to continue

  1180. to love

  1181. the Lord

  1182. to have a

  1183. bias towards

  1184. him continually

  1185. and to

  1186. stay as

  1187. close as

  1188. possible

  1189. to the

  1190. Lord

  1191. Jesus

  1192. to love

  1193. his word

  1194. and to

  1195. love his

  1196. people

  1197. but Lord

  1198. you've also

  1199. given hope

  1200. to those

  1201. who today

  1202. even in

  1203. this very

  1204. room

  1205. who don't

  1206. know you

  1207. that today

  1208. is the day

  1209. of salvation

  1210. today if

  1211. they hear

  1212. his voice

  1213. as they

  1214. have done

  1215. let them

  1216. not harden

  1217. their hearts

  1218. but turn

  1219. to you

  1220. to bow

  1221. the knee

  1222. to you

  1223. and to

  1224. acknowledge

  1225. their sin

  1226. before you

  1227. and to

  1228. say

  1229. Lord

  1230. forgive me

  1231. and Father

  1232. to hear

  1233. your voice

  1234. and to hear

  1235. the voice

  1236. of the Lord

  1237. Jesus on

  1238. the cross

  1239. saying Father

  1240. forgive them

  1241. for they

  1242. know not

  1243. what they

  1244. do

  1245. and oh

  1246. Lord

  1247. may each

  1248. of these

  1249. who have

  1250. come here

  1251. unsaved

  1252. know the

  1253. joy of

  1254. your

  1255. salvation

  1256. and they

  1257. may rejoice

  1258. forever

  1259. with the

  1260. saints in

  1261. glory

  1262. for Christ's

  1263. sake

  1264. Amen
