  1. Who do you say I am?

  2. What do you think about the Christ, the Messiah?

  3. Whose son is he?

  4. These are questions that Jesus put to his disciples,

  5. his followers, and people that came to question

  6. and challenge him in Matthew.

  7. Do you have an answer ready for this kind of questions?

  8. Just don't let my phone echo.

  9. So, what do you think?

  10. When we were on a college mission back in 2018,

  11. we were asked to finish an unfinished sentence,

  12. Jesus is,

  13. and be ready to share with people that we met.

  14. So, someone wrote in and said that Jesus is worth checking out.

  15. And others say Jesus is hard to believe.

  16. One person wrote in and said Jesus is blue cheese.

  17. He said,

  18. In 2015, a survey of most hated foods in the UK

  19. found that over one-third of people hated blue cheese.

  20. It was a seventh on the list.

  21. Generally, cheese is loved,

  22. just not that variety.

  23. I don't think people would mind that others like blue cheese

  24. as long as the smell doesn't affect me.

  25. How is Jesus like blue cheese?

  26. If Christians want to believe in Jesus,

  27. then fine,

  28. but it's not for me.

  29. And I don't want them to leave me or talk about him.

  30. 2017 research showed that 68% of Australians

  31. follow a religion or have spiritual beliefs,

  32. and 45% identify with Christianity.

  33. The biggest changes in that survey is

  34. one-third of people don't identify themselves with any religion.

  35. People are still talking, though.

  36. Just over half of people reported

  37. having religious conversations with friends

  38. often or on occasion.

  39. Perhaps talking about the meaning of life

  40. with people you trust smell less.

  41. Today, my hope and wish

  42. are to help you come to an answer

  43. for those Jesus questions

  44. and to show you who is this Jesus

  45. that we believe in.

  46. If you do not know Jesus,

  47. I hope this introduction

  48. will whet your appetite towards him.

  49. If you are a follower,

  50. I hope you will be more equipped and ready

  51. to fill in the blank of Jesus is.

  52. As Apostle Peter told us in 1 Peter 3.15,

  53. always be prepared to give an answer

  54. to everyone who asks you

  55. to give the reason for the hope that you have.

  56. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone

  57. who asks you to give the reason

  58. for the hope that you have.

  59. We are spending time studying

  60. and investigating the Apostle Creek

  61. because it is a very good starting point for us

  62. to find an answer for who Jesus is.

  63. The Apostle Creek points us to the Trinity

  64. and how they are three persons and one God.

  65. And its structure places a lot of emphasis

  66. on the second person of the Trinity, Jesus.

  67. Because Christians are defined by one primary mark,

  68. we believe in,

  69. and are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  70. And it's not enough for any Christian

  71. to simply say,

  72. I love Jesus, I follow Jesus.

  73. Many who say they love Jesus and follow Jesus

  74. do not follow Jesus as he has revealed himself

  75. in Scripture.

  76. They are following an image

  77. that is not the superior image of Jesus

  78. that we feel in the Bible.

  79. We read before in Hebrews 1, 34,

  80. the Son is a radiance of God's glory

  81. and the exact representation of his being,

  82. sustaining all things by his powerful words.

  83. He became as much superior to the angels

  84. as the name he has inherited is superior to this.

  85. If you do a search on Google,

  86. these are the image of Jesus that you will see.

  87. And if you are in China,

  88. going to a government-sanctioned church,

  89. you will be introduced to Jesus

  90. that looks like this.

  91. A Chinaman.

  92. And most scholars will refer to an image

  93. as this one.

  94. As the most accurate Jesus,

  95. taking into account the common features

  96. of the first century Middle Eastern men.

  97. If picture is worth a thousand words,

  98. which image of Jesus should we think of

  99. when we consider who Jesus is?

  100. Shall we worry and be concerned

  101. that Jesus has been presented

  102. as certain ethnicity?

  103. Is it really evil to present a Jesus

  104. that appeased Chinese to the Chinese people

  105. as people of color

  106. accused European and Americans

  107. of distorting the truth of Jesus

  108. by presenting a Jesus of light-colored skin?

  109. As we confess that we believe in Jesus Christ,

  110. God's only Son, our Lord,

  111. according to the Apostle Creek,

  112. we are calling,

  113. we are being called to consider Jesus' true identity

  114. and his mission

  115. as they are revealed in Scripture,

  116. beyond any image we can come up with

  117. with our limited mind.

  118. As I have read out from,

  119. as we have read out from 1 Hebrews 1, 4,

  120. it says,

  121. Jesus became

  122. as much superior to the angels

  123. as the name he has inherited

  124. is superior to theirs.

  125. So what is the name that Jesus has inherited?

  126. We have the first name Jesus,

  127. which is Greek for

  128. Josiah means God is Savior.

  129. But what about Jesus' last name?

  130. Have you ever thought about Jesus' last name?

  131. Is it Christ?

  132. Christ is not a surname.

  133. It's a title.

  134. It's the Greek word for Messiah,

  135. meaning the unhaunted one of God.

  136. So, Jesus Christ is not merely a name.

  137. It is a theological preposition.

  138. By saying Jesus Christ,

  139. we have made a profoundly theological statement.

  140. We are declaring Jesus

  141. is the atonement of God,

  142. the Savior.

  143. It is a claim that

  144. all the promises given to Israel

  145. regarding all human beings

  146. are fulfilled in this one incarnate man,

  147. Jesus Christ.

  148. God saved us by this specific person,

  149. Jesus,

  150. who is also God himself,

  151. because

  152. in Hebrews,

  153. it says,

  154. Jesus sustains

  155. all things

  156. by his powerful words.

  157. When you say Jesus Christ,

  158. even when you are using it

  159. in a cursing,

  160. non-Christian way,

  161. you are proposing a truth

  162. that Jesus is the Christ,

  163. the Savior of sinners,

  164. the sustainer of all things.

  165. when Christians declare

  166. we believe in Jesus Christ,

  167. we are declaring that

  168. we do not believe in a Christ

  169. of our own imagination,

  170. but in a Christ of Scripture.

  171. We are declaring that

  172. we believe in the Christ,

  173. the Messiah,

  174. the Atonement Savior,

  175. they are believed in

  176. and declared by

  177. every generation of true Christians.

  178. If you are a Christian,

  179. it says true of you

  180. when you make that declaration.

  181. At this point,

  182. if you are non-Christian,

  183. you might say,

  184. this is exactly

  185. why I don't want

  186. to be a Christian.

  187. This is why I think

  188. I don't need to be a Christian,

  189. because I'm okay.

  190. I'm looking after myself

  191. and my family well.

  192. I don't need a Savior.

  193. And in fact,

  194. I'm doing something actively

  195. to save this planet

  196. and humankind.

  197. All this talk about

  198. needing a Savior's own name,

  199. and I will think about religion

  200. when I need a question.

  201. I want to congratulate you

  202. on your success in life.

  203. It's not easy,

  204. even now a day,

  205. to achieve stability in life.

  206. And you are willing

  207. to make sacrifice

  208. to not just look after

  209. your immediate family,

  210. but the wider community.

  211. But at the same time,

  212. I would like to ask you

  213. to think again

  214. about your need for Jesus.

  215. Of course,

  216. being saved

  217. does not necessarily mean

  218. all your life's trouble

  219. and problems

  220. will go away.

  221. But also,

  222. being successful in life

  223. also does not mean

  224. you don't need to be saved.

  225. If you're honest to yourself,

  226. or if we are honest to ourselves,

  227. we will admit that

  228. there's a lot of things

  229. and issues

  230. beyond our control.

  231. things like greed,

  232. jealousy,

  233. unforgiving,

  234. injustice,

  235. and cruelty.

  236. Those are things

  237. that Christians call sins.

  238. They are beyond

  239. our ability to deal with.

  240. We need to be saved

  241. from sin,

  242. and salvation

  243. is found in no one else.

  244. For there is no other name

  245. under heaven

  246. given to mankind

  247. by which we must be saved.

  248. We read in Hebrew

  249. that Jesus' name

  250. is much superior

  251. to the angels.

  252. Our understanding

  253. of who Christ is

  254. defined

  255. how we live our life.

  256. Living in the certainty

  257. and assurance of Christ

  258. as our savior

  259. and sustainer

  260. is so much different

  261. to living in the uncertainty

  262. and fear

  263. of Christ

  264. as our judge.

  265. When we say

  266. we believe in Jesus Christ,

  267. we are making

  268. a theological statement

  269. that Jesus

  270. is the only means

  271. of our salvation,

  272. and there is no other name

  273. under heaven

  274. given to mankind

  275. by which we must be saved.

  276. Jesus is our only salvation

  277. because he is

  278. God's only son,

  279. and that is what

  280. Christians cherish

  281. and treasure.

  282. we have a God

  283. that came to us

  284. and become part

  285. of what he has created

  286. so to free us

  287. from our sins,

  288. from the troubles

  289. we have caused

  290. to ourselves.

  291. Jesus is God's only son,

  292. means

  293. God the son,

  294. Jesus,

  295. and God the father

  296. are both God

  297. and of the same being.

  298. at Nicene Creed,

  299. which was written

  300. after Apostle Creed

  301. to give further explanation.

  302. It says,

  303. Jesus is the only son of God,

  304. eternally begotten

  305. of the father,

  306. God from God,

  307. light from light,

  308. true God

  309. from true God,

  310. begotten not made

  311. of one being

  312. with the father.

  313. Through him

  314. all things were made.

  315. Jesus and God the father

  316. made this world together.

  317. He is begotten

  318. not made,

  319. which means

  320. he is not part of

  321. but superior to

  322. the creation.

  323. Being outside

  324. of the fallen creation

  325. was what enabled him

  326. to purify

  327. this fallen world

  328. that we live in.

  329. He did it

  330. by becoming

  331. one of us

  332. to restore

  333. mankind's rebellion,

  334. to a perfect obedience.

  335. Hebrews chapter 2

    Hebrews 2 chapter mention

  336. from 2nd verse 9

  337. tells us that

  338. Jesus,

  339. who was made lower

  340. than the angels

  341. for a little while,

  342. now crowned

  343. with glory

  344. and honor

  345. because he suffered death

  346. so that by the grace

  347. of God

  348. he may taste death

  349. for everyone.

  350. In bringing

  351. many sons and daughters

  352. to glory,

  353. it was fitting

  354. that God

  355. for whom

  356. and through whom

  357. everything exists

  358. shall make

  359. the pioneer

  360. of their salvation

  361. perfect

  362. through what he suffered.

  363. Both the one

  364. who makes people

  365. holy

  366. and those

  367. who are made holy

  368. are of the same family

  369. so that Jesus

  370. is not ashamed

  371. to call them

  372. brothers and sisters.

  373. Spurgeon once said

  374. when we think

  375. of Jesus

  376. we can say

  377. that we have

  378. a brother

  379. in heaven.

  380. I may be poor

  381. but I have a brother

  382. who is rich

  383. and is a king.

  384. Will he permit me

  385. to be in need

  386. when he is

  387. on his throne?

  388. Oh no!

  389. He loves me.

  390. He is my brother.

  391. Jesus is the only

  392. son of God

  393. and only through him

  394. we become

  395. sons and daughters

  396. of God.

  397. He is the only

  398. son of God

  399. in the sense

  400. that he is the only

  401. one person

  402. in the whole world

  403. past,

  404. present and future

  405. capable

  406. to fully obey

  407. what God

  408. the Father

  409. commanded

  410. and stipulated

  411. for his children.

  412. He is the only

  413. one

  414. that can

  415. please the

  416. Father

  417. perfectly

  418. because

  419. he has always

  420. been

  421. in that perfect

  422. loving

  423. glorifying

  424. honoring

  425. relationship

  426. within the

  427. trinity

  428. between the

  429. Father

  430. the Son

  431. and the Holy

  432. Spirit.

  433. Hebrews

    Hebrews 2 chapter mention

  434. chapter 2

  435. further explains

  436. in verse 14

  437. 16

  438. since the

  439. children

  440. have flesh

  441. and blood

  442. he too

  443. shared

  444. in the

  445. humanity

  446. so that

  447. by his

  448. death

  449. he might

  450. break

  451. the power

  452. of him

  453. who holds

  454. the power

  455. of death

  456. that is

  457. the devil

  458. and free

  459. those

  460. who all

  461. their lives

  462. were held

  463. in slavery

  464. by the

  465. fear of death

  466. for this

  467. reason

  468. he had

  469. to be

  470. made

  471. like them

  472. fully

  473. human

  474. in every

  475. way

  476. in order

  477. that he

  478. might

  479. become

  480. a merciful

  481. and faithful

  482. high priest

  483. in service

  484. to God

  485. and that

  486. he might

  487. make

  488. atonement

  489. for the

  490. sins

  491. of the

  492. people

  493. because

  494. he himself

  495. suffered

  496. when he

  497. was tempted

  498. he is able

  499. to help

  500. those who

  501. are being

  502. tempted

  503. it's

  504. important

  505. for Jesus

  506. to be

  507. 100%

  508. human

  509. to be

  510. born of

  511. Mary

  512. so that

  513. he can

  514. offer

  515. himself

  516. as a

  517. substitute

  518. for our

  519. disobedience

  520. and take

  521. on the

  522. punishment

  523. we

  524. deserve

  525. in

  526. verse 15

  527. he further

  528. explained

  529. for we

  530. do not

  531. have a

  532. high priest

  533. who is

  534. unable

  535. to

  536. emphasize

  537. without

  538. weaknesses

  539. but we

  540. have one

  541. who has

  542. been

  543. tempted

  544. in every

  545. way

  546. just as

  547. we are

  548. yet

  549. did not

  550. sin

  551. we have

  552. one

  553. that is

  554. able to

  555. emphasize

  556. empathize

  557. with us

  558. with our

  559. witnesses

  560. he's

  561. tempted

  562. in every

  563. way

  564. just as

  565. we are

  566. but he

  567. did not

  568. sin

  569. whatever

  570. sin

  571. you have

  572. committed

  573. with that

  574. heavy guilt

  575. that is

  576. burdening your

  577. heart

  578. Jesus

  579. can

  580. empathize

  581. with you

  582. he knows

  583. how hard

  584. you try

  585. to resist

  586. and know

  587. you have

  588. failed

  589. due to

  590. your

  591. weaknesses

  592. but most

  593. importantly

  594. he's now

  595. speaking

  596. to our

  597. father

  598. in heaven

  599. on our

  600. behalf

  601. to defend

  602. for us

  603. for you

  604. and for

  605. me

  606. Jesus

  607. is the

  608. only

  609. person

  610. lived

  611. on

  612. this

  613. earth

  614. that

  615. is

  616. never

  617. seen

  618. and

  619. therefore

  620. he's

  621. the

  622. only

  623. perfect

  624. sacrifice

  625. that is

  626. without

  627. blemish

  628. that can

  629. fully

  630. appease

  631. God

  632. perfectly

  633. paid

  634. the price

  635. required

  636. for the

  637. reconciliation

  638. between

  639. us

  640. the

  641. offender

  642. and

  643. God

  644. the

  645. offender

  646. living

  647. in

  648. metropolitan

  649. city

  650. in

  651. 2020

  652. we

  653. may

  654. not

  655. be

  656. very

  657. familiar

  658. with

  659. the

  660. idea

  661. of

  662. having

  663. a

  664. high

  665. priest

  666. acting

  667. on

  668. our

  669. behalf

  670. you

  671. would

  672. like

  673. to

  674. understand

  675. more

  676. about

  677. the

  678. idea

  679. of

  680. high

  681. priest

  682. in

  683. the

  684. book

  685. of

  686. Hebrew

  687. if you

  688. read

  689. on

  690. from

  691. chapter

  692. 5

  693. 7

  694. and

  695. 10

  696. we

  697. actually

  698. have

  699. a

  700. lot

  701. more

  702. details

  703. in

  704. there

  705. but

  706. even

  707. though

  708. you

  709. may

  710. not

  711. be

  712. familiar

  713. about

  714. the

  715. sacrificial

  716. system

  717. that

  718. this

  719. passage

  720. is

  721. referred

  722. to

  723. have

  724. you

  725. ever

  726. heard

  727. the

  728. saying

  729. of

  730. someone

  731. being

  732. made

  733. a

  734. scapegoat

  735. someone

  736. taking

  737. the

  739. for

  740. the

  741. misdeeds

  742. of

  743. others

  744. being

  745. made

  746. a

  747. scapegoat

  748. is

  749. often

  750. an

  751. involuntary

  752. act

  753. done

  754. by

  755. some

  756. evil

  757. boss

  758. or

  759. superior

  760. someone

  761. who

  762. has

  763. no

  764. regard

  765. towards

  766. justice

  767. or

  768. fairness

  769. and

  770. only

  771. concerned

  772. about

  773. protecting

  774. their

  777. or

  778. cover

  779. up

  780. their

  781. own

  782. incompetence

  783. is the

  784. opposite

  785. here

  786. God

  787. the

  788. offender

  789. offered

  790. himself

  791. as a

  792. sacrificial

  793. lamb

  794. going

  795. out of

  796. his way

  797. to

  798. defense

  799. us

  800. the

  801. offender

  802. offering

  803. himself

  804. to pay

  805. for the

  806. punishment

  807. that is

  808. due

  809. it was

  810. done

  811. because

  812. we have

  813. a

  814. Lord

  815. that is

  816. different

  817. to any

  818. boss

  819. we can

  820. find

  821. in this

  822. world

  823. it was

  824. through

  825. the

  826. obedience

  827. of

  828. God

  829. the

  830. Son

  831. to

  832. God

  833. the

  834. Father

  835. that

  836. we

  837. creatures

  838. are

  839. reconciled

  840. to

  841. our

  842. creator

  843. such

  844. a

  845. profound

  846. teaching

  847. that

  848. God

  849. is

  850. willing

  851. to

  852. obey

  853. and

  854. submit

  855. to

  856. God

  857. to

  858. God

  859. Apostle

  860. Paul

  861. explained

  862. it

  863. sustaining

  864. in

  865. Philippians

    Philippians 2:5–8

  866. 2

  867. verse

  868. 5

  869. to

  870. 8

  871. a

  872. passage

  873. that

  874. we

  875. often

  876. read

  877. out

  878. here

  879. in

  880. St.

  881. Paul

  882. but

  883. today

  884. I

  885. would

  886. like

  887. us

  888. to

  889. read

  890. it

  891. slowly

  892. to

  893. really

  894. think

  895. about

  896. what

  897. it

  898. is

  899. saying

  900. about

  901. Jesus

  902. Jesus

  903. who

  904. being

  905. in

  906. very

  907. nature

  908. God

  909. did

  910. not

  911. consider

  912. equality

  913. with

  914. God

  915. something

  916. to

  917. be

  918. used

  919. to

  920. his

  921. own

  922. advantage

  923. rather

  924. he

  925. made

  926. himself

  927. nothing

  928. by

  929. taking

  930. the

  931. very

  932. nature

  933. of

  934. a

  935. servant

  936. being

  937. made

  938. in

  939. human

  940. likeness

  941. and

  942. being

  943. found

  944. in

  945. appearance

  946. as

  947. a

  948. man

  949. he

  950. humbled

  951. himself

  952. by

  953. becoming

  954. obedient

  955. to

  956. death

  957. even

  958. death

  959. on

  960. a

  961. cross

  962. being

  963. in

  964. very

  965. nature

  966. God

  967. made

  968. himself

  969. nothing

  970. by

  971. taking

  972. the

  973. very

  974. nature

  975. of

  976. human

  977. humble

  978. himself

  979. by

  980. becoming

  981. obedient

  982. to

  983. death

  984. even

  985. death

  986. on

  987. a

  988. cross

  989. this

  990. is

  991. a

  992. Jesus

  993. that

  994. we

  995. believe

  996. in

  997. we

  998. have

  999. looked

  1000. into

  1001. Jesus

  1002. as

  1003. a

  1004. Christ

  1005. and

  1006. Jesus

  1007. the

  1008. God's

  1009. only

  1010. son

  1011. and

  1012. the

  1013. final

  1014. part

  1015. of

  1016. what

  1017. I

  1018. want

  1019. to

  1020. look

  1021. into

  1022. today

  1023. with

  1024. you

  1025. is

  1026. Jesus

  1027. is

  1028. our

  1029. Lord

  1030. once

  1031. again

  1032. in

  1033. modern

  1034. day

  1035. Australia

  1036. the concept

  1037. of having

  1038. a

  1039. Lord

  1040. over

  1041. us

  1042. seems

  1043. out

  1044. of

  1045. place

  1046. or

  1047. outdated

  1048. who

  1049. would

  1050. you

  1051. consider

  1052. as

  1053. your

  1054. Lord

  1055. and

  1056. what

  1057. feeling

  1058. do

  1059. you

  1060. have

  1061. towards

  1062. this

  1063. Lord

  1064. of

  1065. yours

  1066. who

  1067. comes

  1068. to

  1069. your

  1070. mind

  1071. as

  1072. your

  1073. Lord

  1074. anyone

  1075. like to

  1076. share

  1077. their

  1078. thought

  1079. at

  1080. this

  1081. moment

  1082. I

  1083. am

  1084. not

  1085. going

  1086. to

  1087. pick

  1088. on

  1089. anyone

  1090. I

  1091. would

  1092. be

  1093. nice

  1094. to

  1095. you

  1096. guys

  1097. be

  1098. charitable

  1099. being

  1100. a

  1101. student

  1102. and

  1103. a

  1104. married

  1105. man

  1106. I

  1107. have

  1108. two

  1109. that

  1110. come

  1111. to

  1112. my

  1113. mind

  1114. first

  1115. one

  1116. is

  1117. my

  1118. lecturer

  1119. especially

  1120. this

  1121. is

  1122. my

  1123. last

  1124. year

  1125. of

  1126. study

  1127. and

  1128. they

  1129. will

  1130. determine

  1131. whether

  1132. I

  1133. graduate

  1134. or

  1135. not

  1136. second

  1137. one

  1138. goes

  1139. without

  1140. saying

  1141. being

  1142. a

  1143. married

  1144. man

  1145. if

  1146. you

  1147. are

  1148. working

  1149. or

  1150. studying

  1151. or

  1152. think

  1153. back

  1154. to

  1155. the

  1156. time

  1157. you

  1158. were

  1159. how

  1160. do

  1161. you

  1162. feel

  1163. when

  1164. your

  1165. boss

  1166. or

  1167. your

  1168. lecturer

  1169. is

  1170. away

  1171. do

  1172. you

  1173. feel

  1174. more

  1175. relaxed

  1176. or

  1177. even

  1178. to

  1179. a

  1180. point

  1181. that

  1182. we

  1183. often

  1184. say

  1185. no

  1186. when

  1187. the

  1188. cats

  1189. are

  1190. away

  1191. the

  1192. mouths

  1193. come

  1194. out

  1195. to

  1196. play

  1197. we

  1198. all

  1199. seem

  1200. to

  1201. have

  1202. a

  1203. love

  1204. hate

  1205. relationship

  1206. with

  1207. those

  1208. people

  1209. that

  1210. we

  1211. identify

  1212. as

  1213. our

  1214. lord

  1215. or

  1216. master

  1217. we

  1218. love

  1219. them

  1220. when

  1221. we

  1222. want

  1223. to

  1224. get

  1225. things

  1226. of

  1227. benefit

  1228. from

  1229. them

  1230. and

  1231. we

  1232. hate

  1233. them

  1234. when

  1235. they

  1236. demand

  1237. our

  1238. loyalty

  1239. or

  1240. performance

  1241. so

  1242. we

  1243. all

  1244. seem

  1245. to

  1246. look

  1247. over

  1248. our

  1249. shoulder

  1250. and

  1251. have

  1252. our

  1253. feet

  1254. up

  1255. when

  1256. they

  1257. are

  1258. away

  1259. looking

  1260. at

  1261. Hebrew

  1262. looking

  1263. back

  1264. at

  1265. the

  1266. chapter

  1267. that

  1268. we

  1269. have

  1270. read

  1271. today

  1272. where

  1273. does

  1274. it

  1275. say

  1276. Jesus

  1277. is

  1278. located

  1279. right

  1280. now

  1281. have

  1282. you

  1283. ever

  1284. thought

  1285. about

  1286. that

  1287. in

  1288. chapter

  1289. 1

  1290. verse

  1291. 3

  1292. it

  1293. says

  1294. after

  1295. he

  1296. had

  1297. provided

  1298. purification

  1299. for

  1300. sins

  1301. he

  1302. sat

  1303. down

  1304. at

  1305. the

  1306. right

  1307. hand

  1308. of

  1309. the

  1310. majesty

  1311. in

  1313. and

  1314. the

  1315. verse

  1316. 13

  1329. of

  1330. God

  1331. in

  1332. heaven

  1333. until

  1334. I

  1335. make

  1336. your

  1337. enemy

  1338. a

  1339. food

  1340. stool

  1341. for

  1342. your

  1343. feet

  1344. Jesus

  1345. right

  1346. now

  1347. is

  1348. sitting

  1349. next

  1350. to

  1351. God

  1352. the

  1353. father

  1354. in

  1355. heaven

  1356. crowned

  1357. crowned

  1358. with

  1359. glory

  1360. how can

  1361. we

  1362. say

  1363. Jesus

  1364. is

  1365. close

  1366. to

  1367. us

  1368. is

  1369. his

  1370. absence

  1371. means

  1372. that

  1373. we

  1374. can

  1375. put

  1376. our

  1377. feet

  1378. up

  1379. we

  1380. declare

  1381. with

  1382. our

  1383. mouth

  1384. that

  1385. Jesus

  1386. is

  1387. our

  1388. Lord

  1389. but

  1390. how

  1391. are

  1392. we

  1393. to

  1394. live

  1395. out

  1396. what

  1397. we

  1398. have

  1399. declared

  1400. that

  1401. Jesus

  1402. is

  1403. truly

  1404. our

  1405. Lord

  1406. in

  1407. our

  1408. life

  1409. back

  1410. in

  1411. 2018

  1412. one

  1413. of

  1414. the

  1417. one

  1418. of

  1419. minister

  1420. from

  1421. down

  1423. wrote

  1424. the

  1425. following

  1426. about

  1427. who

  1428. Jesus

  1429. is

  1430. and

  1431. in

  1432. it

  1433. I

  1434. see

  1435. that

  1436. it's

  1437. an

  1438. example

  1439. of

  1440. how

  1441. we

  1442. can

  1443. live

  1444. out

  1445. the

  1446. belief

  1447. that

  1448. Jesus

  1449. is

  1450. our

  1451. Lord

  1452. he

  1453. said

  1454. this

  1455. I'll

  1456. just

  1457. read

  1458. out

  1459. before

  1460. my

  1461. wife

  1462. and

  1463. I

  1464. were

  1465. Christian

  1466. we

  1467. had

  1468. more

  1469. disposable

  1470. income

  1471. but

  1472. we

  1473. also

  1474. find

  1475. more

  1476. ways

  1477. to

  1478. spend

  1479. it

  1480. now

  1481. Jesus

  1482. has

  1483. changed

  1484. our

  1485. financial

  1486. priority

  1487. I

  1488. remember

  1489. sitting

  1490. with

  1491. a

  1492. mortgage

  1493. salesman

  1494. who

  1495. was

  1496. telling

  1497. us

  1498. how

  1499. quickly

  1500. we

  1501. can

  1502. own

  1503. our

  1504. home

  1505. I

  1506. then

  1507. asked

  1508. him

  1509. to

  1510. do

  1511. the

  1512. sums

  1513. again

  1514. taking

  1515. into

  1516. account

  1517. the

  1518. money

  1519. we

  1520. want

  1521. to

  1522. give

  1523. to

  1524. church

  1525. student

  1526. ministry

  1527. overseas

  1528. mission

  1529. and

  1531. sponsorship

  1532. should

  1533. he

  1534. he

  1535. told

  1536. us

  1537. he

  1538. can't

  1539. afford

  1540. the

  1541. house

  1542. now

  1543. we

  1544. are
