  1. Are you a good listener?

  2. Is there a difference between hear and listen?

  3. How do you feel when someone says to you,

  4. I hear you, compared to I'm listening?

  5. What fallacy would I be committing if I say I'm hearing you?

  6. Maybe you can share your thoughts on our live chat

  7. if you are watching right now on your device or on the computer.

  8. We have been studying the book of Acts over the last 12 weeks,

  9. almost as long as our current lockdown.

  10. Seeing God working through Paul to bring the gospel from Jerusalem

  11. to the end of the world was challenging and encouraging at the same time.

  12. Even in the toughest of situations,

  13. nothing stops God from advancing the good news of Jesus' resurrection

  14. to bring salvation to all people.

  15. Today, we have reached Rome,

  16. which also concludes our study of the book of Acts.

  17. Luke tells us that Paul made the following conclusion

  18. in chapter 28, verse 28 to 30,

  19. to a big group of people that have come to his place to meet with him.

  20. Therefore, I want you to know that God's salvation

  21. has been sent to the Gentiles,

  22. and they will listen.

  23. For two whole years,

  24. Paul stayed there in his own rented house

  25. and welcome all who came to see him.

  26. God's salvation has been sent to those who will listen.

  27. And today, I hope to be your hearing test

  28. to get you ready for God's salvation.

  29. For God's salvation is for all people.

  30. And from our passage today,

  31. we can see God's salvation in the following three ways.

  32. Against all hope,

  33. unusual kindness,

  34. and welcome all.

  35. Chapter 27 of Acts

  36. gives us a vivid picture

  37. of the difficulties Paul and his companions

  38. and Jews before they arrived in Rome.

  39. As I read through it,

  40. I cannot but feel like

  41. it's talking about our current situation

  42. with the COVID pandemic.

  43. the danger and uncertainty,

  44. the constant great difficulties

  45. of hoping to move forward

  46. and being driven along against our own will.

  47. But one thing very different

  48. is in verse 9 to 11.

  49. Much had been lost,

  50. and selling had already become dangerous

  51. because by now,

  52. it was after the Day of Atonement.

  53. So Paul warned them,

  54. man,

  55. I can see that our forage

  56. is going to be disastrous

  57. and bring great loss to ship and cargo

  58. and to our own life also.

  59. But the centurion,

  60. instead of listening to what Paul said,

  61. followed the advice of the pilot

  62. and the owners of the ship.

  63. Paul warned them about the danger ahead.

  64. But instead of listening to him,

  65. they followed their advice

  66. that was more soothing to their ears,

  67. more inclined to what they want to do

  68. to get to Rome quickly.

  69. Before the second half of 2019,

  70. we had no warning

  71. of what is going about to hit the world.

  72. But they were warned

  73. and had a chance to avoid

  74. the storm and the shipwreck.

  75. However,

  76. instead of listening to Paul's warning

  77. against setting sail,

  78. the pilots and owners' advice

  79. were followed

  80. because they thought

  81. they could accomplish their purpose.

  82. We can't blame the people

  83. for not following Paul's advice

  84. for they did not know

  85. who Paul belonged to

  86. and who he was serving.

  87. And after all,

  88. Paul was only a prisoner

  89. and a preacher.

  90. What would he know about sailing?

  91. The decision not to listen to Paul

  92. has put everyone in danger,

  93. including Paul himself.

  94. And they took a violent battering

  95. for many days

  96. and trying to save their life

  97. and their self

  98. even through falling overboard

  99. their livelihood.

  100. And in verse 20,

  101. we are told that

  102. when neither sun nor stars

  103. appear for many days

  104. and the storm continued raging,

  105. we finally gave up

  106. all hope of being saved.

  107. The we here

  108. refer to everyone on the ship,

  109. including Paul

  110. and the narrator Luke.

  111. And Luke did not hold back

  112. in the following verse

  113. from letting us know

  114. who Paul really is.

  115. Then he also would say,

  116. I told you so.

  117. And he too

  118. need to be encouraged.

  119. Verse 23,

  120. it says,

  121. Last night,

  122. an angel of God,

  123. of the God

  124. whom I belong

  125. and whom I serve,

  126. stood beside me

  127. and said,

  128. Do not be afraid,

  129. Paul.

  130. You must stand trial

  131. before Caesar

  132. and God has graciously

  133. given you

  134. the lives of all

  135. who sail with you.

  136. They did not listen to Paul,

  137. for they do not know

  138. who Paul belonged to

  139. and served.

  140. Paul belongs to

  141. and served

  142. the living God

  143. of the universe,

  144. creator of everything

  145. in this world.

  146. God's angel told Paul

  147. that God has graciously

  148. given him the lives

  149. of all who sail with him

  150. and not to be afraid.

  151. That's why Paul

  152. urged the people on the ship

  153. to keep up their courage

  154. in verse 22 and 25.

  155. To keep up your courage

  156. can also be translated

  157. to cheer up.

  158. Paul urges them

  159. to cheer up

  160. in the middle

  161. of a raging storm

  162. where they have not seen

  163. the sun

  164. or any stars

  165. for many days.

  166. The only source

  167. and guide

  168. for them

  169. to get home.

  170. Paul was able

  171. to cheer up

  172. and take courage

  173. in the middle

  174. of a raging storm

  175. based on the promise

  176. that God

  177. had graciously

  178. given him

  179. the lives

  180. of all who sail with him

  181. and his faith

  182. in God

  183. that it will happen

  184. just as God

  185. told him.

  186. Paul's message

  187. is one of hope

  188. amid despair

  189. and we'll be learning

  190. more about this

  191. over our next series.

  192. he challenges

  193. everyone

  194. on the ship

  195. including himself

  196. to trust God

  197. based on

  198. the assertion

  199. that

  200. God is as good

  201. as his word.

  202. Like what

  203. Isaiah said

  204. in chapter 55

  205. verse 10 to 11.

  206. the word

  207. that goes out

  208. from God's mouth

  209. will not return

  210. to God

  211. empty

  212. but will accomplish

  213. what God

  214. desires

  215. and achieve

  216. the purpose

  217. for which

  218. he sends it.

  219. God is determined

  220. to save

  221. and has sent

  222. out salvation

  223. to all people.

  224. So Paul

  225. encouraged

  226. everyone

  227. on the ship

  228. to trust

  229. in his God

  230. for deliverance.

  231. He demonstrated

  232. his trust

  233. in God

  234. by preparing

  235. food

  236. for all

  237. the people

  238. on board.

  239. 276 people

  240. were there.

  241. He took

  242. some bread

  243. gave friends

  244. to God

  245. in front of them

  246. and passed

  247. it on to them.

  248. Paul

  249. inspired

  250. everyone

  251. on board

  252. to act

  253. decisively

  254. and courageously

  255. for the benefit

  256. of all people.

  257. He stopped

  258. any group

  259. from taking action

  260. to seek

  261. the safety

  262. of their own

  263. while abandoning

  264. others.

  265. Verse 36

  266. tells us

  267. that

  268. they all

  269. become cheerful

  270. and eat

  271. some food

  272. themselves.

  273. This action

  274. shows

  275. now

  276. they listen

  277. to Paul

  278. and begin

  279. to believe

  280. too

  281. in the promise

  282. of God's

  283. word.

  284. Here

  285. in this chapter

  286. we see a picture

  287. of human

  288. being

  289. in a desperate

  290. situation

  291. in need

  292. of God's

  293. help

  294. and also

  295. shows

  296. the importance

  297. of believing

  298. God's word

  299. and rely

  300. on his

  301. power

  302. for deliverance.

  303. It also

  304. demonstrates

  305. the believer's

  306. opportunity

  307. in such

  308. a situation

  309. to draw

  310. attention

  311. to God's

  312. character

  313. and encourage

  314. others

  315. to turn

  316. to him

  317. for mercy.

  318. If you

  319. are not yet

  320. trusted in

  321. God

  322. I'm glad

  323. that you

  324. are still

  325. watching

  326. right now.

  327. Have you

  328. considered

  329. your life

  330. situation?

  331. Why not

  332. turn towards

  333. God

  334. for mercy

  335. and ask

  336. him to

  337. save you?

  338. Sometimes

  339. we have

  340. to be

  341. at a

  342. deep end

  343. to realize

  344. God's

  345. merciful hand

  346. merciful helping

  347. hand was

  348. always there.

  349. Against

  350. all hope

  351. we can

  352. trust in

  353. God

  354. for salvation

  355. because

  356. he is as

  357. good as

  358. his word.

  359. God's

  360. word

  361. never

  362. returns

  363. empty

  364. and his

  365. salvation

  366. is also

  367. shown

  368. in unusual

  369. kindness.

  370. kindness.

  371. The idea

  372. of kindness

  373. is very

  374. prominent

  375. in these

  376. two final

  377. chapters of

  378. Acts.

  379. And the

  380. primary form

  381. of expressing

  382. kindness

  383. in these

  384. two chapters

  385. was hospitality.

  386. We have

  387. the centurion

  388. showing kindness

  389. to Paul

  390. allowing Luke

  391. and

  392. Astakus

  393. to accompany

  394. him.

  395. and after

  396. they

  397. land

  398. at

  399. Sidon

  400. he

  401. allowed

  402. him

  403. to go

  404. to his

  405. friends

  406. to provide

  407. for his

  408. needs.

  409. And later

  410. in the

  411. chapter

  412. ordering

  413. Ephraim

  414. from the

  415. ship

  416. to swim

  417. to the

  418. shore

  419. to protect

  420. and spare

  421. Paul's

  422. life.

  423. And while

  424. they were

  425. on the

  426. island of

  427. Mota

  428. in

  429. chapter

  430. 28

  431. the

  432. islanders

  433. showed

  434. them

  435. unusual

  436. kindness.

  437. They

  438. built a

  439. fire

  440. and welcomed

  441. them all

  442. because it

  443. was raining

  444. and cold.

  445. And the

  446. chief official

  447. of the

  448. island

  449. welcomed

  450. them to

  451. his home

  452. and showed

  453. them generous

  454. hospitality

  455. for three

  456. days.

  457. And when

  458. they reached

  459. Petone

  460. in

  461. first fall

  462. they found

  463. some brothers

  464. and sisters

  465. who invite

  466. them to

  467. spend a

  468. week with

  469. them.

  470. They were

  471. treated with

  472. unusual kindness

  473. and hospitality

  474. and brothers

  475. and sisters

  476. traveled 50

  477. to 70

  478. kilometers

  479. to see

  480. them.

  481. In

  482. verse 15

  483. and 16

  484. it said

  485. at the

  486. sight of

  487. these people

  488. Paul thanked

  489. God

  490. and was

  491. encouraged.

  492. When we

  493. get to

  494. Rome

  495. Paul was

  496. allowed to

  497. live by

  498. himself

  499. with the

  500. soldier to

  501. guide him.

  502. In the

  503. original

  504. language

  505. Luke called

  506. the islanders

  507. barbarian

  508. and

  509. considered

  510. their

  511. action

  512. unusual

  513. and

  514. out of

  515. its

  516. expectation.

  517. From a

  518. Greek

  519. Roman

  520. perspective

  521. since

  522. Greek

  523. was not

  524. their first

  525. language

  526. they were

  527. considered

  528. uncultured

  529. even though

  530. Malta

  531. had been

  532. a Roman

  533. island

  534. since

  535. 218

  536. years

  537. before

  538. Christ.

  539. I believe

  540. Luke

  541. expected

  542. to be

  543. treated

  544. with

  545. hostility

  546. instead

  547. they

  548. showed

  549. them

  550. unusual

  551. kindness

  552. with

  553. hospitality.

  554. When

  555. someone

  556. treats

  557. a stranger

  558. with

  559. kindness

  560. it's

  561. considered

  562. unusual

  563. and

  564. if

  565. someone

  566. treats

  567. their

  568. enemy

  569. with

  570. kindness

  571. it's

  572. inconceivably

  573. strange

  574. but it's

  575. not without

  576. example.

  577. the

  578. islanders

  579. seem to

  580. believe

  581. in many

  582. gods

  583. for they

  584. refer to

  585. a goddess

  586. justice

  587. when a

  588. snake

  589. fastened

  590. himself

  591. on

  592. Paul's

  593. hand.

  594. They

  595. also

  596. seem to

  597. believe

  598. our

  599. action

  600. influenced

  601. God.

  602. Treat

  603. other

  604. people

  605. with

  606. kindness

  607. and

  608. you'll

  609. get

  610. good

  611. fortune

  612. and

  613. if

  614. you're

  615. unkind

  616. or cruel

  617. you'll

  618. get

  619. punishment.

  620. In

  621. verse 4

  622. of chapter

  623. 28

  624. when the

  625. islanders

  626. saw the

  627. snake

  628. hanging

  629. from his

  630. hand

  631. they

  632. say to

  633. each

  634. other

  635. this

  636. man

  637. must

  638. be a

  639. murderer

  640. for

  641. though

  642. he

  643. escaped

  644. from

  645. the

  646. sea

  647. the

  648. godless

  649. justice

  650. has not

  651. allowed

  652. him to

  653. leave.

  654. they

  655. were

  656. waiting

  657. for

  658. something

  659. unusual

  660. to

  661. happen

  662. to

  663. Paul

  664. after

  665. he

  666. shook

  667. off

  668. the

  669. snake

  670. into

  671. the

  672. fire

  673. maybe

  674. he

  675. would

  676. suddenly

  677. drop

  678. dead

  679. and

  680. die

  681. but

  682. nothing

  683. happened

  684. to

  685. him

  686. and

  687. they

  688. changed

  689. their

  690. mind

  691. about

  692. him.

  693. I

  694. don't

  695. know

  696. about

  697. you

  698. but

  699. this

  700. is

  701. how

  702. I

  703. sometimes

  704. think

  705. about

  706. how

  707. to

  708. hold

  709. my

  710. life

  711. too.

  712. I

  713. think

  714. I

  715. can

  716. earn

  717. God's

  718. favor

  719. by

  720. what

  721. I

  722. do

  723. and

  724. worry

  725. that

  726. I

  727. have

  728. done

  729. something

  730. wrong

  731. to

  732. upset

  733. God

  734. when

  735. life

  736. is

  737. not

  738. as

  739. smooth

  740. as

  741. I

  742. intended

  743. but

  744. instead

  745. of

  746. being

  747. hostile

  748. towards

  749. us

  750. God

  751. has

  752. treated

  753. us

  754. with

  755. hospitality

  756. and

  757. unusual

  758. kindness

  759. he

  760. is

  761. not

  762. out

  763. to

  764. get

  765. us

  766. instead

  767. as

  768. Psalm

  769. 103

  770. says

  771. Psalm

    Psalms 103:8

  772. 103

  773. verse

  774. 8

  775. the

  776. Lord

  777. is

  778. compassionate

  779. and

  780. gracious

  781. slow

  782. to

  783. anger

  784. abundant

  785. in

  786. love

  787. he

  788. will

  789. not

  790. always

  791. accuse

  792. nor

  793. will

  794. he

  795. harbor

  796. his

  797. anger

  798. forever

  799. he

  800. will

  801. not

  802. he

  803. does

  804. not

  805. treat

  806. us

  807. as

  808. our

  809. sins

  810. deserve

  811. or

  812. repay

  813. us

  814. according

  815. to

  816. our

  817. iniquities

  818. Paul

  819. sent

  820. a

  821. letter

  822. to

  823. the

  824. believers

  825. in

  826. Rome

  827. a

  828. few

  829. years

  830. before

  831. his

  832. survival

  833. and

  834. he

  835. explained

  836. further

  837. what

  838. God

  839. has

  840. done

  841. for

  842. us

  843. and

  844. how

  845. God

  846. has

  847. treated

  848. us

  849. and

  850. most

  851. importantly

  852. how

  853. we

  854. should

  855. relate

  856. to

  857. God

  858. one

  859. of

  860. the

  861. key

  862. points

  863. is

  864. in

  865. chapter 5

  866. verse 6

  867. to 8

  868. God

  869. God

  870. God

  871. God

  872. died

  873. for

  874. the

  875. ungodly

  876. very

  877. rarely

  878. will

  879. anyone

  880. die

  881. for

  882. a

  883. righteous

  884. person

  885. but

  886. for

  887. a

  888. good

  889. person

  890. someone

  891. might

  892. possibly

  893. dare

  894. to

  895. die

  896. but

  897. God

  898. demonstrated

  899. his

  900. own

  901. love

  902. for

  903. us

  904. in

  905. this

  906. while

  907. we

  908. were

  909. still

  910. sinners

  911. Christ

  912. died

  913. for

  914. us

  915. God made this world and everything in it

  916. including all human

  917. but we demand our independence

  918. instead of honoring God

  919. and knowing him for who he is

  920. we imagine we can influence

  921. or even control the divine being

  922. and live an ungodly life

  923. that suits our likeness

  924. we live life for ourselves

  925. instead of God

  926. instead of living cheerfully under God's care

  927. we live fearfully under strife

  928. but God treat us with unusual kindness and hospitality

  929. he gave Christ

  930. his one and only son to die

  931. to reconcile us to him

  932. and while we were God's enemy

  933. we were reconciled to him

  934. through the death of his son

  935. and having been reconciled

  936. we will be saved through his resurrection

  937. to resurrect the life

  938. Luke wrote the book

  939. wrote the gospel and acts

  940. to demonstrate

  941. how God fulfilled his word

  942. through Jesus

  943. and the Holy Spirit

  944. in bringing salvation to all people

  945. to the end of the world

  946. and God welcomed all people

  947. to his salvation plan

  948. all different backgrounds

  949. all different upbringings

  950. and all different stages of life

  951. in these two chapters of

  952. last two chapters of Acts

  953. we see the culmination

  954. of that fulfillment

  955. we have Paul

  956. saved from a religious cellist

  957. to be a faithful follower of Christ

  958. we got Luke the doctor

  959. acting as a narrator

  960. as Tacos

  961. a Macedonian

  962. from Thessalonica

  963. the Romans

  964. the Anturian

  965. with all the soldiers

  966. sailors

  967. and prisoners

  968. all together

  969. 276 people

  970. from the ship

  971. saved from the raging sea

  972. and saved the rich land

  973. Paul reached many places

  974. along the coast

  975. of the province of Asia

  976. God's mercy

  977. reached the island of Malta

  978. where many islanders

  979. were cured

  980. of their deceits

  981. and finally to Rome

  982. and surrounding Rome

  983. believers were coming from areas

  984. as far as

  985. 50 to 70 kilometers away

  986. and in chapter 28

  987. verse 17 to 23

  988. many Jews

  989. have the kingdom of God

  990. explained to them

  991. and allowed to be persuaded

  992. about Jesus

  993. in verse 24 it says

  994. some were convinced

  995. by what he said

  996. but others would not believe

  997. but Paul did not stop there

  998. he said in verse 28 to 31

  999. therefore I want you to know

  1000. that God's salvation

  1001. have been sent

  1002. to the Gentiles

  1003. and they will listen

  1004. for two whole years

  1005. Paul stayed

1006. there in his own rental house

  1007. and welcomed all

1008. who come to see him

1009. he proclaimed the kingdom of God

1010. and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ

  1011. with all boldness

  1012. and without hindrance

  1013. the salvation of God

  1014. has been sent out

  1015. to all people

  1016. and they will listen

  1017. and all are welcomed

  1018. we have seen

  1019. the salvation

  1020. went to all people

  1021. and those that believe

  1022. are all welcomed

  1023. but I found a statement

  1024. in between

  1025. that people will listen

  1026. very challenging

  1027. will they listen

  1028. in today's world

  1029. maybe the new immigrant

  1030. whose English

  1031. is their second language

  1032. will

  1033. they will be

  1034. more accepting

  1035. to our help

  1036. and the social activities

  1037. we offer

1038. for them to find friends

  1039. but not Uncle George

  1040. or Aunt May

  1041. who is well-to-do

  1042. and busy pursuing

  1043. their career

  1044. you might say

  1045. if you think

  1046. people will listen

  1047. you should try

  1048. my friends

  1049. they went to

  1050. a private school

  1051. and doing great

  1052. in uni

  1053. and they already

  1054. have life figured out

  1055. they wouldn't care

  1056. less about

  1057. believing in God

  1058. they care more

  1059. about who they can

  1060. impress

  1061. or go out with

  1062. let me encourage you

  1063. to do what

  1064. Leland and Christian

  1065. do during this lockdown

  1066. we have been saying

  1067. our praise

  1068. and pray upon

  1069. in our community group

  1070. and Leland and Christian

  1071. have been sharing

  1072. with us

  1073. how they have

  1074. together with

  1075. another brother

  1076. persevered

  1077. during the lockdown

  1078. to regularly

  1079. meet up

  1080. with other friends

  1081. from uni

  1082. to answer

  1083. their questions

  1084. about Christianity

  1085. and introduce them

  1086. to God

  1087. over Zoom

  1088. in a season

  1089. where

  1090. most of us

  1091. are Zoomed out

  1092. they persevere

  1093. to listening

  1094. and encouraging

  1095. their friends

  1096. to turn to God

  1097. and to

  1098. the one

  1099. that can save them

  1100. you might say

  1101. you might say

  1102. if you think

  1103. people will listen

  1104. you should meet

  1105. my very opinionated

  1106. brother or neighbor

  1107. who think

  1108. they have the solution

  1109. to save the world

  1110. or also

  1111. my environmentalist

  1112. and feminist friends

  1113. if you think

  1114. all these people

  1115. will not listen

  1116. are you a good

  1117. listener yourself

  1118. how well

  1119. are you listening

  1120. to the reason

  1121. they become

  1122. who they are

  1123. today

  1124. are you ready

  1125. when you are

  1126. presented with

  1127. an opportunity

  1128. to proclaim

  1129. the kingdom of God

  1130. if we believe

  1131. our family

  1132. and relatives

  1133. are the most

  1134. challenging group

  1135. to persuade

  1136. about Jesus

  1137. and the kingdom

  1138. of God

  1139. our boss

  1140. and colleagues

  1141. will be a

  1142. cold second

  1143. because we spend

  1144. most of our

  1145. daily life

  1146. with them

  1147. and they know

  1148. the perfect need

  1149. my wife Vivian

  1150. managed a small

  1151. law firm

  1152. and the other day

  1153. her boss told her

  1154. one of their

  1155. kind sister

  1156. has suddenly

  1157. fallen ill

  1158. and they have

  1159. to prepare

  1160. documents

  1161. for their

  1162. client

  1163. to take

  1164. care

  1165. of her

  1166. sister

  1167. her boss

  1168. commented

  1169. that life

  1170. is fragile

  1171. and full

  1172. of uncertainty

  1173. and as she

  1174. listened

  1175. she replied

  1176. that is why

  1177. we need

  1178. to know

  1179. Jesus

  1180. God's salvation

  1181. has been

  1182. sent out

  1183. to all people

  1184. and they

  1185. will listen

  1186. so keep up

  1187. your courage

  1188. brothers and

  1189. sisters

  1190. have faith

  1191. in God

  1192. that it

  1193. will happen

  1194. just as

  1195. God told

  1196. us

  1197. let nothing

  1198. hinder you

  1199. and keep

  1200. proclaiming the

  1201. kingdom of

  1202. God

  1203. and teach

  1204. others

  1205. about the

  1206. Lord Jesus

  1207. Christ

  1208. with all

  1209. boldness

  1210. if you are

  1211. not yet a

  1212. believer

  1213. and have

  1214. stayed

  1215. watching

  1216. until now

  1217. I'm

  1218. confident

  1219. that you

  1220. have a

  1221. very healthy

  1222. hearing

  1223. and are

  1224. ready for

  1225. God's

  1226. salvation

  1227. keep

  1228. joining us

  1229. online

  1230. and come

  1231. to see us

  1232. in a few

  1233. weeks when

  1234. we can

  1235. gather in

  1236. person

  1237. or give

  1238. us your

  1239. details by

  1240. clicking the

  1241. connect with us

  1242. link or write

  1243. your comment

  1244. in our live

  1245. check to let

  1246. us know how

  1247. we can welcome

  1248. you into the

  1249. embrace of

  1250. God's family

  1251. as St.

  1252. Paul

  1253. we exist

  1254. to treasure

  1255. Jesus

  1256. together

  1257. for God's

  1258. glory

  1259. and the

  1260. joy of

  1261. all people

  1262. we seek

  1263. to unite

  1264. our diversity

  1265. in the good

  1266. news of

  1267. Jesus Christ

  1268. and joyfully

  1269. become like

  1270. him together

  1271. unlike the

  1272. word here

  1273. which is

  1274. stative

  1275. and without

  1276. action

  1277. listening

  1278. treasuring

  1279. seeking

  1280. ongoing

  1281. action

  1282. that can

  1283. take place

  1284. in the

  1285. past

  1286. in the

  1287. present

  1288. and in

  1289. the future

  1290. let's

  1291. join

  1292. with

  1293. Christians

  1294. through the

  1295. ages

  1296. to take

  1297. courage

  1298. to proclaim

  1299. the good

  1300. news of

  1301. God

  1302. as we

  1303. saw in

  1304. the book

  1305. of Acts

  1306. against

  1307. all hope

  1308. we can

  1309. have hope

  1310. of salvation

  1311. because

  1312. God's

  1313. unusual

  1314. kindness

  1315. to all

  1316. people

  1317. and God

  1318. welcome

  1319. all

  1320. to his

  1321. gospel

  1322. family

  1323. come and

  1324. join us

  1325. in sending

  1326. salvation

  1327. to all

  1328. people
