wife and has eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee saying

Thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for thy

sake, in sorrow, shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.

You see this sorrow? This multiplication of Sorrow to

the woman in childbirth and there's two mentions of Sorrow

here Genesis, 3:16 Genesis 3:17, the very first mention of foot

Sorrow is the result of sin. It was part of God's punishment

to to Adam and Eve. They both a dead spiritually.

They both had become Sinners by Nature.

Judas in the disciples entered into the deep valley of peeing,

Jesus said, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy and a

doctrine of the Resurrection. One for his death, in a little

see me, it's the doctrine of the Resurrection.

And you see, we will have sorrows in this Fallen World and

when our loved ones are taken and death comes unexpected and

were plunged into a state of grief and sorrow on the sting of

takes, please still be a range of emotions.

One of those emotions as numbness.

That's a common feeling and the early stages there.

So mistake, denial, and disbelief and confusion shock

mood can change all of a sudden you're happy and joyful and the

That's all normal. That's all hell.

Because Jesus was the Man of Sorrows and acquainted with

in these stages of grief, let's remember the grief of God's

people as different from the world.

loss of a little daughter in the family.

His wife was heartbroken and so was he 40 years later?
