The Principle, Peril, and Providence That Parliament Ignored

Amen. Turn with me today in your

Bibles. We're turning to the Book of

Job. I find the Book of Psalms turn

back to the Book of Job. I want to read from Job chapter

Job 33 · chapter mention

33 and I'm going to read the first 14 verses of the chapter.

Job chapter 33 commence reading at verse one let's hear the word

Job 33 · chapter mention

of God for those online. The words will come up on screen

and of course the words are from the most reliable and faithful

translation of the Holy Scriptures, the Authorised

Version itself. Job 33 verse one let's hear

God's word together. Wherefore Job, I pray thee, hear

my speeches and hearken to all my words.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue have spoken in

my mouth. My words shall be of the

uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall utter knowledge.

Clearly the Spirit of God had made me, and the breath of the

Almighty have given me life. If thou canst answer me, set thy

words and order before me, stand up.

Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead.

I also am formed out of the clay.

Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my

hand be heavy upon me. Surely thou has spoken in mine

hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words saying, I am

clean without transgression, I am innocent, neither is there

iniquity in me. Behold, he findeth occasions

against me, He counteth me for his enemy, He putteth my feet in

the stocks, He marketh all my paths.

Behold, in this thou Wert not just, I will answer thee, that

God is greater than man. Why dost thy strive against him?

For he giveth not account of any of his matters.

For God speaketh once, yeah, twice.

Yet man perceiveth it not. Amen.

With no, the Lord will stamp with his own approval and

blessing this reading of His own precious and infallible word.

Now my text this morning is taken from the book of Job, Job

Job 33 · chapter mention

chapter 33 and verse four. Job 33 verse 4 says this.

Job 33:4

The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty

have given me life now. When titled the sermon, the

Principle, the Peril and the Providence that Parliament

forgot. Last week was one of the most

wicked weeks in the history of our United Kingdom Parliament.

Last week, within the space of a few days, the Westminster

Parliament executed the most wicked assault against the

sanctity of human life. On Tuesday the 17th of June,

Members of Parliament voted sinfully and mercilessly, 379 to

137 against, to pass an amendment on a private members

bill decriminalising self managed abortion up to birth.

This bill now protects the rights of a woman from

persecution should she murder her baby in the womb at any

point from conception right up to birth.

And then on Friday the 20 of June, the same Parliament voted

again, very maliciously, wickedly, 314 to 291, in favour

of Kim Leadbeater's Assisted Suicide Bill.

In past years, the British nation has showcased and took

profound pleasure in the excellent work of

philanthropists, doctors and missionaries.

Individuals who travelled the world, who expended their

efforts, spent their time and their money in order to protect

life, in order to preserve human life.

You want some examples? Think of the majestic work of

William Wilberforce in the very same Parliament, 1759 to 1833, a

leader of the movement to abolish the Atlantic slave trade

and the horrors of it. What about Mr William Carey, the

missionary to India, who worked tirelessly to secure the

outlawing of the practise of widows burning themselves to

death on their husband's grief? What about the Lady of the Lamp,

Florence Nightingale, in organising the kind of care for

wounded soldiers during the Crimean War that helped reduce

the death rates of soldiers significantly?

What did she do? Well, it was simple.

She improved hygiene, clean linen on the beds, clean

bondages, she improved living standards in the hospitals and

on her return to the United Kingdom, she helped to lay the

foundations of professional nursing care that we see today

in the NHS. The One of the greatest

tragedies of last week's vote in the House of Commons is that the

majority of Members of Parliament no longer believe in

the sanctity and dignity of human life.

It's with great sadness that the majority of elected MPs no

longer wear the mantle of preservers of human life.

They now bear the infamous mantle of the destroyers of

human life. How tragic and wickedly Tuesday,

the 17th of June's decision has consigned many children in the

womb to death before they are born.

Friday's decision, at the other end of the spectrum, consigns

many of the elderly, some of the most vulnerable in our society,

to an early death where palliative care is no longer

highly valued or praised. What happened in the Westminster

Parliament last week is not only sheer madness, it is gross.

Wicked. If you want proof positive that

the United Kingdom is now a post Christian country, that the

United Kingdom, especially among parliamentarians, has forgotten

the Lord and forsaken Him, then reflect on what I'm saying.

John Calvin once said when God wants to judge a nation, He

gives them wicked leaders. And tragically we have a bunch

of wicked, ungodly, demonic inspired leaders who appear in

the one hand to hate children and deprive the elderly.

And they're the ruling class over us today.

Listen to Jeremiah, Jeremiah chapter 23, verses 19 and 20,

Jeremiah 23:19

and we read the following. Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord

has gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind.

It shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

The anger of the Lord shall not return until He have executed,

until He have performed the thoughts of his heart.

In the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

You see, here's something that every member of Parliament who

voted in favour of these on wicked ungodly practises, here's

something that they forgot, something that they've forsook,

something that they have ignored.

And it's this. The spirit of the Lord have made

me the breath of the Almighty, have given me life.

These words, if I put them into context or part of a speech to

Job. Remember, he was God's suffering

servant. He lost all, and he was a man

who feared God and hated evil. And this speech was delivered by

one of Job's friends, a younger friend to Job by the name of

Eli, who Eli, who has come alongside the other three, he to

comfort Job. He's heard their speeches.

He's heard Job's reply, and now it's his turn to speak.

And a Eli who speaks to Job about God's role in creating him

and sustaining him and giving him life.

And he's saying to Job, Job, you're a man.

You're a man made by God. You're, you're a man by his very

creation, and you have the spirit of God in you.

Now. What a lie who said was true?

What a lie who said is very important.

Not just true of Job, but true of every man made in the image

of God, true of every child developing in the womb.

Why did he say it? I I believe so that Job could

remember it, so that Job would not forget it, so that Joe would

learn this and lay into his heart despite his circumstances.

The Spirit of God had made me in the breath of the Almighty, have

given me life. Now here's a principle, Come to

me on Friday evening. Here's a peril.

Here's a Providence that Parliament not just forgot, not

just forsook, but deliberately ignored three things.

One, the principle that politicians ignored.

As I've said in the House of Commons last week, the majority

of MPs wickedly ignored a threefold biblical principle.

One, they ignored that God is the creator and source of life.

Think of these words. The Spirit of God hath made me.

This is a revelation. This is a recognition that God

is not just the living and the true God, but he's also our

creator and Maker. We'll ask the question, where

did we come from? We'll have to trace our roots,

don't we? We'll have to think about our

ancestry. Well, here's a great fundamental

truth. We did not make ourselves.

Man's origin is outside of himself.

Man is made by the Spirit of God.

And the old Nicene Creed says we believe in the Holy Spirit, the

Lord and giver of life, and that's a confessional statement.

And our existence is not the product of chance.

It hasn't come about by an evolutionary process.

We don't trace our ancestry back to the apes or back to the

monkeys. Here's the answer.

Where did we come from? The Spirit of God hath made me.

Now the Spirit of God is one of the Trinitarian persons in the

Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3:00 and 1:00 and 1:00

and 3:00. The God of the Bible is a A1 God

who subsists in three persons. And these three persons are

coequal and Co eternal. They coexist.

And these three persons have distinct personality, and these

three persons have essential deity.

The word spirit here, it means breath, it means wind, the

spirit of God, the spirit is of God, and the spirit is from God.

If we ask the question, how many persons are there in the gold

head? Here's the answer of Shorter

Catechism question 6. How many persons are in the

Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?

And these three are one God, the same in substance, equal in

power and glory? I want you to think of this

picture in Genesis chapter 2 and verse 7.

We read in the Lord God form man of the dust of the ground, and

breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a

living soul. Do you get the picture?

God made a body of clay and from the dust of the ground he made

it, and then God the Holy Spirit, he gave that clay body

the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

You see we read in Genesis chapter one verse 26, and God

said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let

them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of

the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over

every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God

created he him male and female created he they who are we?

We're not just animals. We are human beings made in the

image of God, and we owe our existence to Him.

He is the living God. It is He that hath made us.

You see, only God can give life. Only God can impart life,

physical life, material life, spiritual life, eternal life.

But we'll ask this question, why does death exist in the world?

Because there's life, that's why there's death, because there's

life. And who can raise the dead?

Only God can raise the dead, and only God himself can die and

raise, rise again and and bring himself back to life, having

fully paid for our sins on the on the cross.

See, let's understand today the reference here.

The Spirit of God is a reference to the Holy Spirit, and the Holy

Spirit is a person, the third Person of the Holy Trinity and

the least understood person of the Holy Trinity.

And the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, sadly today is largely

ignored and greatly misunderstood.

And yet he's the third person of the Holy Trinity.

The Holy Spirit is God's ancient in creation, inspiration,

regeneration, the new birth, in, in, in power and, and in revival

and and giving life and, and bringing liberty.

See, the Holy Spirit is truly God with eternality, deity,

personality, and the whole work of creation is attributed to the

Spirit of God. And in creation all three

persons were involved, because the Holy Spirit is the Lord and

Giver of life. Each person performs a

particular portion of the work, and yet the three persons work

in harmony with each other. Who is it that gives life to all

creatures? The Spirit of God gives life to

all. All creatures then owe their

existence to this life giving source.

Man can do lots of things for himself, but he can't make

himself alive. And if we're honest and honest

to admit it, we have not caused our own being to come into

existence. Our origins from the Spirit of

God. The Spirit of God was fully

engaged with our creation. Remember what we read in Psalm

139. We read this in verses 13 and to

15. For thou has possessed my

reigns, that was covered me in my mother's womb.

I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully be

made marvellous and thy works, and that my soul knoweth right

well my substance not hid from thee, when I was made in secret

and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

And it was old Jeremiah that said in Jeremiah chapter 1 and

Jeremiah 1 · chapter mention

verse 5, God said to Jeremiah, Before I formed thee in the

belly, I knew thee. And before they came forth out

of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet

unto the nations. And our politicians, the

majority of them with their votes last week, chose to ignore

this reality that our existence and origin is attributed to the

Spirit of God because the Holy Spirit is the Lord and Giver of

life. And they forsook that they, they

rejected that. We can trace it all the way

back. Remember to Adam the first man

over there in the book of Acts in Acts chapter 17 when Paul was

preaching in Mars Hill. He said this in Acts chapter 17

and in the verse 26 and hath made of one blood all nations of

men for to dwell on all the face of the earth and have determined

the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation.

The second thing that they ignored by way of the principle

is this. They ignored that God is a

maintainer and sustainer of life.

You see, we've already read in Psalm 139 and verse 14.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and our existence is

maintained by the Spirit of God. Every breath that you breathe,

every step that you take, everywhere you go, all that you

do, we owe it to the maintaining of the Spirit of God.

We only live because God has given us life by His Spirit, the

Bible says in Him. We move and live and have being,

and that's just not just our physical life as we live them

out, we live them out by the breath of the Almighty.

The life that we live now must regard it as being lived out by

the breath of the Almighty. As I said, we can't take a step

without Him. You couldn't breathe without

Him. He can't do anything without

him. Jesus said, without Me ye can do

nothing over there in Job chapter 26 and verse 13.

By his Spirit he hath garnished the heavens.

His hands hath formed the crooked serpent.

In Job chapter 27 and verse 3 it says all the while my breath is

in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils.

In Job chapter 32 and verse 8 we read these words.

But there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the

Almighty giveth them understanding.

The Spirit of God is the sustainer of all of creation.

He provides life to all. The third principle that they

ignored is this. They ignored that God is the

conveyor and sanctifier of life. You see the the Holy Spirit in

the beginning is associated with chaos and the lack of order.

Genesis 1 and one, Genesis one and two, but the Holy Spirit not

only produces life and provides for that life, but He presides

over that life. Remember he said Genesis 6, my

spirit shall not always strive with man.

See that breath of life that we enjoy, The Holy Spirit can

withhold it. The Holy Spirit can withdraw the

breath of life. The Holy Spirit is not when he

conveyor and sanctifier of life. He's also the governor and judge

over not life. The Spirit of God is the power

and the authority to withdraw and withhold in judgement, and

we are fully and totally dependent on the power and work

of the Holy Spirit to convey and sanctify our life.

And there's a wider context here.

Listen to me carefully. The work of the Spirit of God in

the whole world, the whole of the created order, will only be

brought to its ultimate victory and destiny by the Spirit of

God. All in the animal Kingdom, all

in the plant were the trees of the forest, the produce of the

ground that the stars in the universe is all being worked on

at this time and moved upon and directed by the Spirit of God.

It's the Holy Spirit's presence and power that's quickens and

makes alive and supports and sustains that life in our world.

You see, the Holy Spirit is the divine instigator of it all.

The Holy Spirit's not just limited, therefore demand to

individuals or even to the life and witness of the church is a

bigger picture. There's a broader picture.

It's the whole of the cosmos. Scholars sometimes speak and

write of the cosmic Spirit, the work of the Spirit of God in the

world. You see, without the work of the

Spirit of God, there could be no life.

Now let me ask you this. Does that humble you this

morning? Does that impact upon your heart

and mind? Does that speak to you?

Does that bring you to know something of the majesty and

holiness and power of God? You see, the greatest knowledge

in the world is the knowledge of God.

Be still and know that I'm God. Psalm 14 verse 16, first Psalm

Psalms 46:10

17, remember the Lord Jesus said this, and this is life eternal,

that they might know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ

whom thou hast sent. The greatest knowledge in the

world is the knowledge of God, and part of that knowledge of

God is God of Creator and Maker, Goddess, Sustainer and provider.

God is conveyor and sanctifier. God is governor and judge.

See Hitch Spurgeon said this. The single most important

discovery in life is the worship of God.

The single most important activity in life is to worship

God. You've been made for this.

You're made to offer your whole life to God in all its parts, as

the hymn of praise unto him. See, God has not only created us

this morning, and God has not only sustained us and provided

for us, but God has allowed us to live.

And he's decided when you come to life and that life that you

have us in him. And that was the principle that

our Westminster parliamentarians ignored on Tuesday and ignored

on Friday. Quickly, the peril that

politicians ignored. You see their consequences for

forsaking and forgetting the Lord.

Choices have consequences, and the consequences, I believe, of

last week's vote will bring down the judgement of God upon the

land, Job said. And Job heard from Eli.

Who for God speaketh once, Yeah, twice.

Yet man perceiveth it not. See, man forgets that God is

creator and *** He forgets that God is the one who maintains

that life sustains it. He forgets that God is conveyor

and sanctifier. He forgets about the sanctity

and dignity of human life, forgets that there's a judge to

whom he has to give an account. And the Bible tells us in Romans

Romans 14:12

chapter 14, verse 12, then every one of us shall give an account

of himself to God. And the parliamentarians are

included. They're a accountable.

They're answerable to Almighty God.

So we ask this question to them today.

Why vote for murder? Why violate the 6th commandment?

Why vote for the taking of life? Of course, abortion came into

effect in 1967 and from then 10 million babies have been

murdered. We say to those, you've got

blood in your hands, There's blood in the hands of the

legislators as well as the perpetrators.

And I want to tell you this morning, listen to me carefully.

It's not about compassion, it's about control.

It's a form of social engineering.

It's the ideology of the Fabian Society and it's all of

falsehood. It's unbiblical.

It's it's based on a lie. It's not about care for the

dying. It's not about the individual

dying with dignity. They already have that in the

hospital. I I've witnessed that myself.

They don't care. It's all about the cost.

It's all about saving money for the National Health Service.

I've heard millions of pounds being mentioned in savings.

It's not about comfort. It's not about comfort for the

mummy or for the elderly. It's about convenience.

Women and men deciding to please the God of self.

Men and women deciding to play God.

Whose life is worth living and whose life is not.

Bear with me just for a few moments.

Think of this here. A baby life starts with one tiny

cell for every human being born. Life begins as a single cell.

There's a name for that little cell called ZYGATE that I have

difficulty pronouncing, and it's about the diameter of a strand

of hair. Listen to me carefully.

That one cell contains all the detailed information that

determines the colour of the eyes, the hair, the skin, the

height, the build, a boy or a girl.

It's all predetermined and not one single sail by the genetic

code of the DNA. And that one sail, God made it.

And it's the Spirit of God that giveth life.

And that one sail is destined and ready for rapid development.

And that one sail grows into a tiny human baby.

And that one sail is alive and is alive by the Spirit of God.

And you see a day 25, the head and trunk and the tiny arms and

the legs are visible facial expressions, the ears, the

mouth, the eyes, the heart is pumping blood.

And by day 45-7 and eight weeks into the pregnancy, the baby's

skeleton is complete in cartilage form.

And the baby can hiccup and the baby can clap hands together and

the baby is sensitive to touch and feeling.

And the baby starts moving and gaining strength.

And by 8 weeks, the cartilage turns to bone structure.

The baby's body is complete. Then the three months, which is

12 weeks, that baby can feel pain, it can smile, it can

swallow. And you tell me that you have a

right to terminate that precious life, not only at that time, but

right up to nine months when that little baby's on an

incredible journey and one sail turns into two trillion sails of

an infant and up to 30 trillion sails in a nozzle.

In every one of those sails is like a living factory inside the

human body. I want to tell you that little

baby's unique. That little baby is full of

beauty and personality. You want to murder that, You

legislate to murder that. Why?

Because life has lost its secrets.

And of course abortion is not a new practise, it's an old one.

In years gone by, long before Christ, there was a desire to

get rid of the weak and the unwanted and the sickly.

Why? Because they didn't view life as

made by the Spirit of God, didn't view life as a gift of

God. They they forgot that they're

accountable to God, that they're under the judgement of God for

their actions. The Bible says he that believeth

not is condemned already because he's not believed in the name of

the only begotten Son of God. See, we live in a day when life

is disposable. Life is no value.

Why? Because they've ignored the

sanctity of life. Whenever we have possessions

that are old and worn out, we dispose of them.

Tend to replace an old worn sofa, take it to the dump.

We dump an old TV. Well, you see, now we've decided

to have that disposable attitude toward the elderly and toward

the sick and the National Health Service that we've prided

ourselves in from 1945 has now become the National Death

Service and death is going to be offered to you as a former part

of the treatment plan. Do you know that 5% of all

deaths in Canada are now assisted suicide?

People who have chosen to take their own life, the elderly at

risk, euthanasia, so-called easy death.

I want to tell you it's not right.

Why? Because God is the giver of

life. God is the stainer of life and

the God who gives life is the only God who can take human

life. Do you know that in Westminster

months past, the Labour Party blocked an inquiry into the

grooming gangs that raped up to 250 young white English girls

250,000 This is the third reading of their assisted

suicide bill. They've now voted and Tuesday

passed to decriminalise abortion.

Self managed abortion right up to birth.

Did you hear the cheers? I want to tell you the

government is wicked. I want to tell you our United

Kingdom is under a judgement from God that this is this is

the work of the devil. What must we do?

Well, I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do.

I'm going to preach against vocalism.

I'm going to preach against militant feminism.

I'm going to preach against the ideology of the Fabian Society.

And I'm going to say to those churches that support abortion

and support assisted suicide, I'm going to say to people in

those churches, leave and don't go back.

If that's what they believe in, is that what they preach?

Is that what they stand for? Then don't support them.

As a child of God, we need to pray for the defeat and downfall

of these wicked, evil politicians.

I know that we're fighting not against flesh and blood, but

against principalities, against powers, against the wickedness

and the rulers of the darkness of this world.

But the devil uses flesh and blood, ungodly wicked man that

he takes control over of their mind and their heart.

We need to pray for the removal of these wicked leaders.

Another thing he could do is vote against this wickedness.

Don't support politicians that voted for this, that supported

this kind of legislation. Say no.

Tell them to their face. We'll not be voting for you.

Let me move on and finish this. Just bear with me for a minute.

The Providence that the politicians ignored, No, not,

not just the principle threefold, not just the peril

that puts us under the judgement of God and brings us displeasure

and arouses his wrath, but the Providence that politicians

ignored. You see what we have got 1000

years of rich Christian tradition and heritage in the

United Kingdom. We thank God for our Bible

believing Christianity. We thank God for men like

Wilberforce and Carey and Florence Knangood.

They they what motivated them to do what they did was their

Christian background was their love for God.

What was their love for the souls of men and women?

Was their love for their neighbour.

You, you think of 80 years ago VE Day in the 8th of May there

in 1945 when we celebrated that this year, the 80th anniversary,

what do they ignore? They ignored the good news. 7th

of May 1945, it was announced the unconditional surrender of

Germany. And they've ignored not only

that good news, but they've ignored the good news of the

gospel. For God so loved the world that

he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish, but have everlasting life.

They ignored the fact that Christ come into the world just

seeking to save that which was lost, to die in the cross and

atone for our sins. And if we put our faith and

trust in Him, we can be saved and have the assurance of going

to heaven. They ignored the costly

sacrifice of our forefathers. We could direct back to the

English Civil War. We could go back to the Spanish

Armada of 1588. We'd go back to the Glorious

Revolution, the Williamite settlement of 1688.

You see, it was said then in the 7th of May in 1945, was part of

that broadcast by the king, I think it was.

King George said this. Let's remember those who never

came back. Why did they not come back?

Did they not want to? No, they were dead.

They gave themselves up by way of sacrifice to preserve our

free civil and religious liberty.

The Crimean War, World War One at the Psalm 5500 fell on the

first day, World War 2. Do you know that in World War

Two, 383,700 service personnel died?

Do you know that 67,200 civilians died as a result of

that war and then lifted up? And when you think of that

sacrifice to the greatest sacrifice of all and the

sacrifice of Christ upon the cross and they I'll tell you

something else. They ignored that happened 80

years ago in VED 200 Lancaster bombers transported as the

crowds were cheering in the streets, 1300 prisoners of war,

those that were taken captive. And there's thousands in our

United Kingdom taking captive by the devil.

And the only one that can set them free is the Lord Jesus

Christ himself because he came to preach deliverance to the

captives. They also ignored a new

prospectus because in World War 2 they developed a system called

radar, and that radar helped 80 years ago, and that radar

helped. We could think about the

miracles of Dunkirk. Man has an inability to

understand spiritual things because he's darned in his mind.

He's diseased in his affections, he's dead in his sin.

And we need to ask help and wisdom from God.

We need to turn to the Lord. And I say this as we finish.

I thank God for the 8 unionist members of Parliament who voted

against us. Why did they vote?

Because of their Christian heritage.

They stood in remembrance that there's a God in heaven with

whom they have to do. And what are we called for this

morning? Well, we call this just as it

was called during VE Day. We surrender unconditionally all

forces under German control to the British Exhibitionary Force,

and we call for the unconditional surrender of every

Member of Parliament before God. We call upon them to repent of

their sin and their wickedness, for by grace you see it through

faith and not not of yourselves. It's the gift of God, not of

works, less than any man should boast.

Listen to me as I finish. Our help is in the name of the

Lord. We need the Lord.

The Lord must be called upon to give wholesale repentance and

call the people back to him and back to the House of God on the

day of God. We want our land to be healed.

Do you want their land to be healed?

Are you sick of what happened in Parliament?

On Tuesday and Friday then we need to pray, pray to God.

We need to repent of our sin and turn to the Lord.

We must stand to openly correct the errors that have been

perpetrated. We must rebuke the evil and the

evil dear. And we must stand fast for the

honour and glory of God. And we must say the way back is

back to God, to the old paths to God's Word, to the honour and

glory of our God, to our rediscover our Christian

heritage. And I say to those that are

advocating taking a stand, men like Jeff Taylor in England, and

we thank God for that stand. But at the heart of that stand

has to be a return to Bible believing Christianity.

If you leave the Lord out and ignore the Lord and forsake him

and forget him, then nothing that we do is going to restore

this land to truth and righteousness.

I leave this sermon with you. I've preached it as God has

given me help. The principle the politicians

ignored, the peril that they have ignored, and the Providence

that they have ignored. They have forgotten how God

worked in the past. God uses means.

God uses men. May God give us godly men and

godly women, and return the land to righteousness.

Sin is a reproach to any people. Righteousness exalteth a nation.
