  1. All right, how many of you have enjoyed the service so far? Can you say amen with me?

  2. Amen. Isn't that awesome? It is great to see God moving in the young people of our church and our

  3. community, and that is kind of what we've been talking about in our series on new life, a fresh

  4. beginning with Jesus. Much of this came from resources put out by Craig Groeschel, pastor of

  5. Life Church in Oklahoma City, and we are a few weeks into this now, and so we are talking about

  6. God doing a new thing. We've seen evidence of that in the baptisms. We saw the video earlier in the

  7. service of last Sunday when two of our young people, one of our graduating seniors even, getting

  8. baptized and giving evidence of their faith in Christ. So God is doing a new thing. Can we see it?

  9. Yes, absolutely we can. So we talked about that a few weeks ago, and then we talked about how we need

  10. to stop trying and start training. Let's say that together. Ready? Stop trying, start training.

  11. How many times in our lives have we tried and tried and tried and failed and failed and failed,

  12. and maybe God is trying to get our attention and saying, hey, stop trying so much in your own strength

  13. and start understanding that I'm training you to be who I say you are, which leads us to our identity,

  14. and that we do what we do because of what we think of who we are. And so instead of believing the old

  15. lie that we believed all throughout our lives of who we are, God is instead getting our attention

  16. saying, listen to me and believe that you are who I say you are, and then that determines your behavior.

  17. So our behavior is born out of our identity. Well today we're going to be, I'm sorry, last week we

  18. started this kind of sub-series within this whole series about new life in Christ, and we talked

  19. about laying aside every weight, and we had a very visual illustration of how extra weight slows us

  20. down, didn't we? For those of you who weren't here, you're wondering why people are laughing. That's

  21. because I had a foot race down that aisle and that aisle against one of our fastest teenagers,

  22. and he smoked me, all right? During the service, okay, it happened. Y'all don't want to miss what's

  23. going on here in church because you never know what might happen during the service. Well then I loaded

  24. him up with I don't know how much weight with a weight vest and medicine ball and kettlebells and

  25. all this, and I barely beat him that second time through. Extra weight really makes a difference, and there

  26. might be something in our lives that we either need to lay aside because we've been holding on to it,

  27. maybe a bad habit, a self-destructive habit in our life, or there's something that's holding on to us

  28. from our past, from our past, and in Philippians we read that we are to forget what lies behind

  29. and press forward toward what lies ahead. So that brings us, that catches you up very briefly in our

  30. series text we've been looking through. It's in your bulletin, 2 Corinthians 5 17. If anyone is in

  31. Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away and see the new has come. Man, we're celebrating new

  32. today with our graduating seniors. What an exciting thing as they embark on a new endeavor, a new journey,

  33. a new starting point in their life, and together as a church we can do the same thing. So today

  34. we're talking about let us run. Let's look at Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1 and 2. Hebrews 12,

    Hebrews 12:1

  35. 1 and 2. While you turn there, you'll put a finger in Hebrews 12 and then flip over to Philippians 3.

  36. Hebrews 12 and Philippians 3 will be bouncing back and forth between those two passages of scripture.

  37. And as you find your place in those two passages, I want to share a couple of thoughts with you about

  38. running. How many of you, maybe you follow me on Facebook and you saw that I've started training for

  39. a 5k. Anybody? There's a couple of you. The rest of you, I don't blame you. Facebook, you know, isn't

  40. always where I spend my time, but that's all right. I've recently started training for a 5k. It's the first

  41. one in my life. I know that's shocking to you. I look like somebody who runs 5ks all the time. But it's not.

  42. This is the first time I'll be doing this. I'm not running one next week or next month. I'm thinking

  43. like maybe December. It's going to take a minute for me to train, all right? But I've started doing

  44. that, just doing some slow jogs around my neighborhood, just getting started. And I have

  45. some thoughts to share with you about running. I went for a run but came back after two minutes

  46. because I forgot something. I forgot I'm out of shape and can't run more than two minutes.

  47. Truth is, I ran 22 minutes straight the other day without stopping. Now, when I say run, it's like,

  48. you know what I mean? But I didn't stop. So there you go. I don't run. And if you should ever see me

  49. run, you should start running too because something is probably chasing me. One of my kids' teachers

  50. told him that one day in school and I won't say who it is. That was fun. That is very true. And then

  51. this is probably my favorite here because I wear Nike shoes. That awkward moment when you're wearing

  52. Nike and you still just can't do it. For those of you who don't know, Nike had a commercial,

  53. just do it, all right? Just put it in context. Listen, running, training for anything is difficult,

  54. is it not? That's why these jokes are funny because we all know it's hard. It's difficult.

  55. And this is a quote that I wanted to share with you. I don't know if I've ever used a quote from

  56. Oprah Winfrey before in a message, but this one was actually pretty applicable. Running is the

  57. greatest metaphor for life because you get out of it what you put into it. And that is so true.

  58. Most of my life I have not run and I've gotten out of it the fruit of not running.

  59. And just the little bit of time that I've spent over the last couple of weeks beginning to run,

  60. beginning to train, I can actually see little fruits of that in the rest of my days.

  61. And as I try to transform my personal lifestyle, I know many of you are also trying to do the same

  62. thing, maybe in a different area of your life. You can see and agree that you get out of it

  63. what you put into it. So let's see what the Word of God has to say about this. Hebrews chapter 12

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  64. and verse 1. I know we've got quite a number in here. If you're able and willing, would you join

  65. us in standing as we just read these two verses together? Hebrews 12 and verse 1. Therefore,

  66. since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance

  67. and the sin that so easily ensnares us. We talked about that last week. Let us run with endurance the race

  68. that lies before us. And now flipping back over to Philippians chapter 3. And let's read verse 13.

    Philippians 3 chapter mention

  69. One thing I do, forgetting what is behind, talked about that last week, and reaching forward to what is

  70. ahead. We're going to stop right there, and we'll pick it up there next Sunday. Actually, in two Sundays.

  71. Sorry about that. Y'all, let's ask God to speak to us from His Word today. Lord, we ask for just that.

  72. We thank you for every member, every regular attender, every guest who's with us this morning.

  73. Thank you for every graduating senior. Thank you for those who couldn't be here and are joining us online.

  74. I want to welcome all of them, and I just am grateful for them joining us in worship today.

  75. I pray that none of this would be in vain, that you would speak to us individually, personally,

  76. to our hearts and our lives. Show us the next step we need to take with you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

  77. You may be seated. Number one in your bulletins, I want to challenge you, start moving. Start moving.

  78. Y'all, that is the secret to my running a 5K, is I have to start moving, right?

  79. If I never start moving, then I'm never going to run a 5K. What does that mean?

  80. If I never go out and take my first run, and I'm using this free app called the Nike Run Club,

  81. and it's free. That was the part that got me interested.

  82. I'm not going to throw a bunch of money into it.

  83. But listen, I've got these guided runs, and there's this coach in my ear,

  84. and the whole thing of those first runs that I started out with a couple weeks ago is,

  85. if you're pushing too hard, you're going to quit.

  86. So stop pushing so hard, and just start moving.

  87. Just get out and start moving.

  88. Y'all, sometimes that is the exact step we need to take in our walk with Jesus,

  89. is just start moving.

  90. Take a step.

  91. The reality is, if some of us opened God's Word tomorrow morning,

  92. before we got our day started, and read one Bible verse,

  93. that would be one more verse than we did the day before.

  94. If we prayed one sentence to God in prayer,

  95. that would be one more sentence than we had prayed the day before.

  96. So we're moving, right?

  97. We started.

  98. It's not that you go from zero all the way to where you want to be,

  99. or where you think you should be.

  100. It's that you start.

  101. You begin.

  102. So, Hebrews 12 says,

  103. let us run.

  104. Philippians 3 says,

  105. pressing forward to those things which are ahead.

  106. Reaching forward to what is ahead.

  107. Let us run.

  108. Sometimes you've just got to take the first step.

  109. Martin Luther King had a great quote,

  110. and when I was a junior high English teacher,

  111. one of my problem students,

  112. I know teachers, you have never had a problem student before, right?

  113. Nobody, they're all perfect little angels.

  114. I'm sure you guys were all perfect angels.

  115. I had a problem student my first year teaching.

  116. I only taught for a couple years,

  117. but she was just bound and determined to give me grief every day.

  118. And so I became bound and determined to win her over.

  119. And by the end of that first semester,

  120. she was giving me this on a little thing that sits in my office back there

  121. as a Christmas present.

  122. So we really made some strides together.

  123. But she found this and thought that I would want it.

  124. It had special meaning for me.

  125. And I thought it applies so well to what we're talking about today.

  126. Faith is taking that first step,

  127. even when you don't see the full staircase.

  128. I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to run a 5K.

  129. I hope so.

  130. I hope I can run a 10K.

  131. I hope I can run a 15K.

  132. I don't know if I'll ever be a marathon guy.

  133. My brother, any of y'all remember my brother preached here several months ago?

  134. He ran a marathon one time,

  135. and I heard what it did to his feet at the end of that.

  136. I don't know if I want to do that.

  137. But that's all right.

  138. I don't have to see the whole staircase of where this is going to end for me right now.

  139. I just take the first step.

  140. And sometimes that's what faith looks like.

  141. We don't know where God is going to lead us.

  142. I guarantee you these seniors that are graduating high school

  143. don't know where their lives are going to be five years from now,

  144. but they don't have to.

  145. They just take one step forward with Jesus,

  146. and then another one,

  147. and then another one.

  148. And as God keeps leading them,

  149. and as God keeps leading us,

  150. then we arrive where he wants us to go in his timing.

  151. It's walking together with him,

  152. but we've got to start moving.

  153. Philippians 3.13,

  154. straining forward,

  155. reaching forward,

  156. pressing forward

  157. to what lies ahead.

  158. The problem is,

  159. we get impatient,

  160. don't we?

  161. We get impatient.

  162. We want it all to come at once.

  163. In today's world in which we live,

  164. we can get everything at the push of a button.

  165. Our phones are there.

  166. They're the wealth of all the information

  167. that we never had growing up,

  168. and all we've got to do is Google it now.

  169. If we want to talk to somebody,

  170. we can talk to someone instantly.

  171. The world we live in is absolutely instant,

  172. but some things are never meant to come overnight.

  173. Some things are never meant to come instantly.

  174. So we have to remember that God's timing

  175. is better than our timing.

  176. God's timing is perfect.

  177. Maybe there's a relationship

  178. that you wish would just be fixed overnight.

  179. In the young couples,

  180. married, adults,

  181. whatever you want to call that class,

  182. that the Tillers and Bryants are leading back there,

  183. we just started a marriage seminar today.

  184. And man, it's fantastic,

  185. but it's realizing that

  186. not everything is going to get fixed overnight.

  187. Sometimes you've got to put the work in,

  188. but it's taking the first step

  189. in understanding that God's timing is perfect.

  190. So start moving.

  191. And then number two,

  192. keep going.

  193. Keep going.

  194. Real basic,

  195. real simple stuff here today,

  196. but sometimes it's the basic and simple things

  197. that trip us up, isn't it?

  198. So we've got to start moving,

  199. and then we've got to keep going.

  200. Hebrews 12 run,

  201. Hebrews 12 one,

  202. going back to our main text here,

  203. run with endurance,

  204. the race set before us.

  205. Let us run,

  206. but let us run with endurance.

  207. Let us run with sustaining that pace.

  208. That coach who's in my ear when I start running,

  209. he says,

  210. if you're running at a pace

  211. that you can't sustain for the whole run,

  212. then slow down.

  213. Some of you are probably expert runners,

  214. and you're like,

  215. that's not good advice.

  216. Well, it is for me when I'm starting out, okay?

  217. Maybe someday I'll get to where you are.

  218. I'm looking around.

  219. Do we have any expert runners?

  220. But listen.

  221. Wait, what just happened?

  222. Oh, yes, Wade.

  223. That was good, Wade.

  224. That was good.

  225. He's a runner at heart, man.

  226. He is a biker.

  227. That's true.

  228. Listen, we run with endurance.

  229. The main thing is that you keep running,

  230. that you keep going.

  231. And young people, I'll tell you,

  232. it is so much more important

  233. that you continue and are faithful

  234. in your walk with Jesus

  235. and, like, hit singles

  236. instead of home runs all the time.

  237. You know what I mean?

  238. Sometimes the temptation

  239. is to try to achieve

  240. great, huge, big things all at once,

  241. but do you know how great,

  242. huge, big things are achieved?

  243. By little by little

  244. achieving the simple, basic things every day.

  245. When you get to the place

  246. where you're doing the things

  247. that you're supposed to do

  248. every day, day after day,

  249. night after night,

  250. when it's hard,

  251. when it's annoying,

  252. when you're tired,

  253. when you're emotional,

  254. when you don't want to,

  255. then all of a sudden you arrive

  256. at the day where you look back

  257. and say,

  258. oh, wow, how did I get here?

  259. This is actually where

  260. I always wanted to go.

  261. But it's because I just kept moving.

  262. I just kept going.

  263. Philippians 3 says,

  264. I press on.

  265. I keep going.

  266. Nothing's going to stop me.

  267. Nothing's going to hold me back.

  268. I recognize that I could stop myself.

  269. I recognize that the devil could stop me.

  270. I recognize that others in my life

  271. could stop me or slow me down.

  272. But between me and Jesus,

  273. I'm going to rely on him

  274. to let me keep going and press on.

  275. Progress demands persistence,

  276. not perfection.

  277. And man, I thank God for that, right?

  278. If progress with Jesus demanded perfection,

  279. we'd all be out of luck.

  280. None of us would get anywhere

  281. where we're trying to go.

  282. But progress just demands persistence.

  283. Jesus just says,

  284. walk with me.

  285. Let me lead you.

  286. Remember, you're not trying.

  287. I'm training you on how to do this.

  288. So we're letting God train us

  289. and get us to where he wants us to go.

  290. There might be young people in this room

  291. that God wants to be a pastor.

  292. God wants to be a missionary.

  293. God wants to be a school teacher.

  294. God wants to be a doctor.

  295. God wants to be a mechanic.

  296. God wants to work in retail,

  297. work at Sonic.

  298. I don't know what your future is

  299. or where God has you

  300. and there's a circle of people

  301. waiting for you

  302. to bring Jesus into their life.

  303. But you're never going to get

  304. where God wants you to go

  305. unless you persist

  306. at the things he has for you right now.

  307. So, let me ask you this.

  308. I've got to run down here and grab it.

  309. Here we go.

  310. Anybody know what the difference in this and this is?

  311. One's white, one's black.

  312. Glad we got that out of the way.

  313. Now, what do these mean?

  314. What is this?

  315. Starting out, beginner, right?

  316. Beginner level at some kind of martial arts.

  317. Over here, what do we have?

  318. Expert.

  319. Expert, right?

  320. Professional.

  321. Top of the heap.

  322. What is the difference between these two belts?

  323. A white belt is a beginner.

  324. A black belt is an expert.

  325. But the truth is,

  326. a black belt is a white belt

  327. who never stopped training.

  328. That's all it is.

  329. Now, that illustration's not original to me.

  330. I heard it from others

  331. who probably heard it from others.

  332. But the truth is,

  333. that is absolutely true.

  334. That every one of you

  335. might be starting out as a white belt

  336. in something in your life.

  337. Right now,

  338. these guys are a white belt

  339. at being an adult,

  340. at being on their own,

  341. at launching out into the world

  342. and paving their way.

  343. They're a white belt.

  344. But they could get to a black belt

  345. if they never stopped training.

  346. What does that mean

  347. in our walk with Jesus?

  348. You might have been a Christian

  349. or a church member

  350. or a tender

  351. or someone you would say

  352. is a Jesus follower

  353. for many, many, many years.

  354. But the truth is,

  355. you're still a white belt.

  356. Because at some point along the way,

  357. you stopped training

  358. and you never got

  359. to where God wanted to take you.

  360. Doesn't mean you don't know about God.

  361. Doesn't mean you can't answer

  362. a bunch of Bible trivia.

  363. But it means that God

  364. has not grasped your heart

  365. and grown your faith

  366. like he wanted to.

  367. So you've got to back up

  368. and start training again

  369. and let God take you

  370. from here to here.

  371. There's nothing special

  372. about this person

  373. except they were here

  374. and they trained and trained

  375. and trained and trained

  376. and trained and trained

  377. and they got here.

  378. The only difference

  379. between me right now

  380. and me when God willing

  381. I can run my first race

  382. is that I don't stop training.

  383. You know half the reason

  384. I'm telling y'all about this

  385. on Sundays

  386. is because I want y'all

  387. to hold me accountable

  388. so I don't stop training.

  389. because it's hard

  390. it's not fun.

  391. And I've tried

  392. to get in shape before

  393. but the difference this time

  394. is I'm not trying

  395. I'm training.

  396. Training to be who God

  397. wants me to be.

  398. My question to you

  399. is are you training

  400. to be who God

  401. wants you to be?

  402. If you are

  403. you're either

  404. at a start moving phase

  405. or you're at a keep going phase.

  406. Either start moving

  407. or keep going.

  408. Galatians 6.9

  409. says let us not grow weary

  410. of doing good

  411. because in due season

  412. at the right time

  413. we will reap

  414. if we don't what?

  415. Give up.

  416. We will reap.

  417. Y'all I don't know

  418. what that looks like

  419. for you.

  420. Seniors down front

  421. and there's a couple

  422. in the crowd.

  423. I don't know

  424. what it looks like

  425. for you to reap

  426. the harvest

  427. that God has for you.

  428. But I do know

  429. that you won't get there

  430. if you don't start moving

  431. and then keep going.

  432. So in your walk

  433. with Jesus

  434. maybe that means

  435. you open your Bible

  436. and spend a little more time

  437. than you have before.

  438. Maybe that means

  439. you bow your head in prayer

  440. and spend a little more time

  441. with God

  442. than you did before.

  443. Maybe it means

  444. as you go off to college

  445. you get involved

  446. in a ministry

  447. in a church

  448. or a collegiate ministry

  449. on your campus

  450. and you get a little bit involved

  451. more than you have before

  452. and you keep growing

  453. and keep going

  454. in your walk

  455. with Jesus.

  456. Church it means

  457. the exact same thing

  458. for us.

  459. I don't know

  460. what it looks like

  461. for you.

  462. I'm accountable for me

  463. and for my family

  464. and as for me

  465. and my family

  466. we're going to keep going.

  467. We're going to keep growing.

  468. James 4.8

  469. Would you turn there

  470. with me very quickly?

  471. James chapter 4

    James 4 chapter mention

  472. and verse 8.

  473. It's one book over

  474. from Hebrews 12.

  475. James 4 and verse 8.

  476. Draw near to God

  477. and he will draw near

  478. to you.

  479. Say man I've tried.

  480. I've tried to fix my marriage.

  481. I've tried to get closer

  482. to my kids.

  483. I've tried to prioritize

  484. God in my life

  485. and something just always

  486. gets in the way.

  487. Something distracts me.

  488. Listen.

  489. If you draw near

  490. to God

  491. you will see

  492. him drawing near

  493. to you.

  494. It's just

  495. usually

  496. we stop training.

  497. Don't we?

  498. At one point in time

  499. we were moving closer

  500. to Jesus

  501. and then at some point

  502. the cares of this life

  503. the distractions

  504. of this life

  505. pulled us away

  506. pulled us off the path.

  507. But if we draw near

  508. to him

  509. there is a promise

  510. from God

  511. that he will draw

  512. near to you.

  513. And when God

  514. draws near in your life

  515. what a transformation

  516. that makes.

  517. When God draws near

  518. to this church

  519. what a difference

  520. this church makes

  521. in the community

  522. in our individual lives.

  523. together as a body

  524. we start to see

  525. incredible things happening.

  526. We start to see

  527. those baptism waters busy.

  528. We start to see

  529. people coming

  530. that hadn't come

  531. in a long time.

  532. We start to see

  533. relationships getting

  534. healed and mended.

  535. We start to see

  536. God moving

  537. in ways that we

  538. never imagined

  539. he could move

  540. when God

  541. draws near.

  542. But first

  543. we gotta take

  544. the first step.

  545. And then we gotta

  546. keep going.

  547. So

  548. practically

  549. how do we

  550. draw near to God?

  551. Number one

  552. we prioritize

  553. our quiet time

  554. with Jesus.

  555. We've been talking

  556. about that.

  557. How much time

  558. do we actually

  559. spend

  560. in this book?

  561. And how much

  562. time do we

  563. actually spend

  564. speaking to the

  565. one who is

  566. always there

  567. always ready

  568. to listen?

  569. Number two

  570. we prioritize

  571. others

  572. over ourselves.

  573. Boy that's a hard

  574. one isn't it?

  575. In American culture

  576. it's always number

  577. one isn't it?

  578. It's always me

  579. first.

  580. But that

  581. doesn't bear

  582. the fruit

  583. that God

  584. wants for us

  585. in our lives.

  586. So we're

  587. training

  588. to spend

  589. more time

  590. with Jesus

  591. we're training

  592. to prioritize

  593. others over

  594. us just

  595. like Jesus

  596. did.

  597. We're learning

  598. from him.

  599. And then number

  600. three we're

  601. unashamed

  602. to speak his

  603. name.

  604. That's how we

  605. draw near to

  606. God.

  607. When we go

  608. out and point

  609. someone else

  610. to Jesus

  611. then we are

  612. as close to

  613. God as we

  614. could ever be.

  615. Paul said

  616. my brethren

  617. brothers and

  618. sisters my

  619. heart's desire

  620. my prayer to

  621. God for my

  622. people is that

  623. they would be

  624. saved.

  625. That they would

  626. know Jesus

  627. in their life.

  628. And that is my

  629. prayer for my

  630. people and I

  631. hope that's your

  632. prayer for your

  633. people.

  634. That they would

  635. know Jesus.

  636. They're not going

  637. to know unless

  638. we're unashamed

  639. to speak his

  640. name.

  641. So our takeaway

  642. this morning will

  643. be done.

  644. Is God help

  645. me not to

  646. quit.

  647. But to take

  648. that next step

  649. toward being who

  650. you are calling

  651. me to be.

  652. I pray that for

  653. us as a church.

  654. God help our

  655. church not to

  656. quit.

  657. But to take the

  658. next step toward

  659. being the church

  660. that he's calling

  661. us to be.

  662. Graduates I pray

  663. that for you.

  664. That you would

  665. say God help me

  666. not to quit.

  667. Now that I'm

  668. finishing high

  669. school and I'm

  670. moving out on

  671. my own and

  672. there's nobody

  673. in my ear

  674. reminding me hey

  675. you should go to

  676. church.

  677. Hey you should go

  678. to youth group.

  679. Hey you should

  680. read your Bible.

  681. There's nobody

  682. in your ear.

  683. Some of you

  684. haven't had that

  685. anyway.

  686. But some of you

  687. have.

  688. And it's going

  689. to be a

  690. difference.

  691. It's going to

  692. be a distinction

  693. to get out

  694. there on your

  695. own where

  696. nobody is

  697. doing that.

  698. But God help

  699. me not to

  700. quit but to

  701. take the next

  702. step as I go

  703. to college.

  704. To take the

  705. next step as I

  706. go to work.

  707. Take the next

  708. step as I move

  709. out on my own

  710. toward who you

  711. are calling me

  712. to be.

  713. Then we'll get

  714. to see the fruit.

  715. Get to see the

  716. blessings.

  717. We'll get to

  718. reap the rewards

  719. together.

  720. So that's my

  721. prayer for you.

  722. Would you bow

  723. your heads with

  724. me and we'll

  725. pray right now.

  726. God I thank you

  727. so much for our

  728. time together this

  729. morning.

  730. I thank you that

  731. you've spoken to

  732. us all throughout

  733. this service.

  734. the young people

  735. have performed to

  736. the best of their

  737. ability to honor

  738. and glorify you.

  739. The graduates

  740. have gotten up

  741. and we've gotten

  742. to see the fruit

  743. of their hard

  744. work over their

  745. years of high

  746. school.

  747. And God that's

  748. not to glorify

  749. them and to

  750. say oh wow what

  751. incredible people

  752. they are but it's

  753. to reflect the

  754. praise back to you

  755. as each one of

  756. these people

  757. professes to know

  758. you as their

  759. savior.

  760. That they place

  761. their faith in

  762. you.

  763. And so all this

  764. accomplishment all

  765. these great things

  766. bring glory back

  767. to you God.

  768. I pray that that

  769. would be true of

  770. each of our lives.

  771. That there wouldn't

  772. be any man woman

  773. or child in this

  774. room who would

  775. walk out of here

  776. today without having

  777. a personal

  778. relationship with

  779. Jesus.

  780. That's our prayer.

  781. That's our hope.

  782. That's why we

  783. gather here each

  784. Sunday.

  785. And God I ask

  786. that you would

  787. show each of us

  788. what our next

  789. step is.

  790. some of us

  791. might need to

  792. start beginning

  793. just like I had

  794. to do a couple

  795. weeks ago.

  796. Some of us

  797. might need to

  798. just take the

  799. next step.

  800. Just keep

  801. moving toward

  802. what you've

  803. called us to

  804. be.

  805. God give us

  806. patience from

  807. you.

  808. Help us to

  809. understand that

  810. you're training

  811. us toward a

  812. wonderful fruit,

  813. a wonderful

  814. blessing that you

  815. have in store

  816. for us.

  817. It's in Jesus

  818. name we pray.

  819. Amen.

  820. Brother Greg's

  821. going to lead

  822. us in one

  823. verse of

  824. this song.

  825. This is a

  826. time of

  827. prayer.

  828. Y'all can

  829. keep your

  830. seats.

  831. But could we

  832. enter into a

  833. time of

  834. prayer as a

  835. church as he

  836. sings over us?

  837. And if you'd

  838. like to sing

  839. quietly and

  840. join him,

  841. that's fine.

  842. But let's

  843. keep our

  844. seats, heads

  845. bowed, you

  846. know, kind of

  847. an attitude of

  848. just focusing on

  849. the Lord right

  850. now, focusing on

  851. his voice.

  852. And just for a

  853. couple of

  854. minutes before

  855. we dismiss

  856. today and

  857. celebrate our

  858. graduates, let's

  859. just ask God,

  860. what is it you

  861. want to show us

  862. from church

  863. today, from

  864. your word

  865. today?

  866. And I'll be

  867. right down

  868. front if you'd

  869. like to come

  870. down front and

  871. meet with me and

  872. pray with me.

  873. I'm happy to do

  874. that.

  875. But let's go into

  876. a time of prayer

  877. right now.

  878. Amen.

  879. Amen.

  880. Amen.

  881. Amen.

  882. Amen.

  883. Amen.

  884. Amen.

  885. Amen.

  886. Amen.

  887. Amen.

  888. Amen.

  889. Amen.

  890. Amen.

  891. Amen.

  892. Amen.

  893. Amen.

  894. Amen.

  895. Amen.

  896. Amen.

  897. Amen.

  898. Amen.

  899. Amen.
