  1. Hey, something, something's in the water. Yeah, because I've been growing

  2. my beard this week to get in the cool crowd, and I noticed two

  3. of the cool men in the church shaved. There's off the surgery is,

  4. I guess just about the moment. I'm trying to fit in and like be

  5. accepted. I want to be more like Roman and Surgery. I want to

  6. fit in like rawn. Look at that all right, some men and their

  7. hair. It's like a woman in hers. How are we doing? Here's

  8. the Lord? You're in church? Look at you? Wow, that's mom

  9. upside down. Wow. Um, I got a couple. You know,

  10. we have a thousand announcements. I don't know what's it means that we have

  11. an amazing church, right, So one thing to announce is we are starting

  12. the Kingdom School of Transformation this fall and so the website is actually up and

  13. running. So we'd love for you to be a student in the Kingdom School

  14. of Transformation. This is a one year's school that will probably morph into two,

  15. but it's a one year Bible school and really Kingdom engagement school, so

  16. Ecclesia, Cultural Transformation, etc. Go to the website, take a look

  17. at it. You'll see what's going on. You'll see some information about the

  18. classes and we're partnering with Faith International University so you can earn credits as you're

  19. coming through the school. So that's something that you'll hear more about. But

  20. just a quick prompt because believe it or not, September is upon us,

  21. so that's coming up. Also, City Quake. How many of you A

  22. bunch of you were a part of City Quake. I know we had about

  23. twenty two people involved in City Quakes. So just to remind all of you

  24. that we've moved into our eight week after shock period and so this is where

  25. we're going to have continual intentional evangelism opportunities. So that's going to be going

  26. on. Pastor Dennis's leading some, Fills leading some, and Tony's leading some.

  27. So we're gonna have these opportunities going on. The first one is next

  28. Sunday night. There'll be people joining us from the ten other churches or the

  29. nine other churches that were a part of City Quake for these as well.

  30. So it's going to be a lot of fun, a lot of excitement.

  31. So this summer is really there's we just finished City Quake yesterday was awakened the

  32. planet. And now there's a thing going on in South Pierce or South Tacoma

  33. with Joan Piers. I believe that's going to be like a tent meeting revival.

  34. If you can get to any of this stuff, I applaud you.

  35. Just you know, we can't advertise all that's happening. There's so much going

  36. on, but we want you to know we are for all of it.

  37. We want the Kingdom to grow. We want every house to grow, we

  38. want every church to grow. We we just we know that God's up to

  39. something really good in our region. And it's not all New Horizon, but

  40. it's all Kingdom. So don't feel like, yeah, don't feel like that

  41. your loyalty here keeps you from going to something else and then you can't invite

  42. somebody that something else or talk about it because you've got a loyalty here and

  43. vice versa. Don't feel like that. We have canceled all territorialism. We've

  44. canceled all jealousy, canceled all fear. We we don't operate in any of

  45. those spears here. We want the Kingdom to grow, we want churches to

  46. grow, we want everything to grow. We want evangelism everywhere. We want

  47. every believer sharing their faith with the power and the love of the Gospel of

  48. Jesus Christ. Amen. So know that and believe that that's the way we

  49. roll around here. And so you just you know, you don't have to

  50. fear any of that stuff. Amen, phrase the Lord. Um. Yeah,

  51. we had. We saw some really cool stuff happen, you know,

  52. through city quake, and it's really just an opportunity to to get activated a

  53. little bit in supernatural soul winning. So you might have heard you might have

  54. heard Tom's share last Sunday that it's not really soul winning is not about a

  55. sales pitch, as it is just about showing the love of God and just

  56. just sharing with people. Ron. I wanted to talk about Ron's opportunity because

  57. the fruit that comes out of these opportunities is really good. Ron Cater came

  58. the city quake, and then you know he's meditating on runs over here with

  59. a hand. So I asked him if I could share this on his behalf.

  60. He's meditating a little bit on everything that's happening and the activations and and

  61. and you know, observing some of this and going out on some of the

  62. teams and then what were you doing in your front yard? Were you mowing

  63. your lawn? Were you gonna? Huh? You were weeding. So he's

  64. out weeding in his front front yard up here in Federal Way last weekend and

  65. he hears a boom box coming down the street. He's probably looking for a

  66. low rider or something. But what he notices is that it's actually around the

  67. neck of a young man. And so the boom box is coming at him.

  68. And so he's like, oh, you know, all pads, I'll

  69. take a little bit of time here, and and so he strikes up a

  70. conversation with this young man. Eventually asked him what he could pray with him

  71. about, and he said he had pain in his stomach. Didn't he had

  72. pain in his stomach or something? And so Ron's like, okay, I

  73. can pray about that. But he discovers that he is a young man that

  74. was shot three times or five three times up at the Commons mall and huh

  75. fred Meyer shot at fred Meyer in feder Way, So be careful where you

  76. shop. I'm thinking all of us should switch to Safe Way because it's safe.

  77. It's safe. Isn't that what safe way means? It's safe? There's

  78. no safe way. He's the only safe way. Oh my word. So

  79. he was shot at fred Meyer three times, and so Ron got to pray

  80. for him. Here's the good thing. It opened up a conversation. Ron

  81. followed up with more ministry and taking food to his house and meeting his family.

  82. Then Wednesday night they brought him to church. So we came to the

  83. midweek service, and so his life was touched. He ended up on the

  84. phone talking to his family. He's going to bring all of them to church

  85. next Sunday. So just you know, cool stuff. And it just all

  86. came out of just you know, paying attention, uh, and just you

  87. know, letting the love of the lords shine through us. All of us

  88. have the love of the Lord, but sometimes we let other stuff get in

  89. the way, right, h And what if Ron just would like, Okay,

  90. that's kind of noisy, all right, I think I'll just kind of

  91. keep picking my weeds and just let that walk on by, right. I

  92. Mean, it's just it's just taking time, uh, and loving somebody and

  93. breaking up our schedule a little bit, and then all at once, a

  94. family, a life has changed. Now a family is going to be changed.

  95. People get transformed, just from us elevating people sometimes, you know,

  96. and I'm preaching to me right now, but we just it's so powerful when

  97. we elevate people above our stuff, our world, our schedule, our money,

  98. our to do list, when we elevate people above that. And you

  99. know, the biblical the biblical way. I just looked at the clock.

  100. I'm out of time. The biblical way, Dwayne, you're out of time.

  101. Thank you, all right. The Biblical way is that that we let

  102. love push its way into other people's lives. And when it's love that's pushed

  103. into other people's lives, and it's not a hardship, it's welcomed, Amen

  104. the Father. We just say yes to a bunch of that this week for

  105. all of us, Holy Spirit, we know that you are going to open

  106. the eyes of our understanding. We're going to see needs around us. We're

  107. going to see somebody with a limp. We're going to see somebody with pain.

  108. We're gonna come to know of a situation. We're going to inquire of,

  109. and we're going to press in and prayer. You're going to work signed

  110. and wonders through us, and the love of the Lord will open the door

  111. for more of heaven in their lives, the hope of heaven in their lives.

  112. We thank you for it. We thank you for the boldness that is

  113. of the spirit to walk as Jesus in his name. We believe it in

  114. Jesus name. And everybody said, I want to talk a little bit about

  115. I want to talk a little bit about the grace that we can enter into

  116. and the grace that it's ordained that we enter into as the New Creation.

  117. The New Creation life is a life filled with grace, filled with grace,

  118. and we can enter into a greater portion of it as we as we lead

  119. our lives with faith and not necessarily lead our lives with goosebumps. Goosebumps follow

  120. faith. I'm want to dive into this a little bit. And my proposition.

  121. So I've got this weird world where my brother and I were always involved

  122. in auto repair and like autobody stuff, and so we would use this calm

  123. pound called bondo. Anybody in the building ever heard of bondo? Okay,

  124. it's not like a bondage thing. This is not spiritual bondo. You can

  125. buy it add auto repair stores, and I discovered you can buy it affordably

  126. at Walmart and I've used it for you know, ten or fifteen different things,

  127. and it's this interesting, gray gooey compound. Valley ever seen it?

  128. Have you ever seen bondo? Let me see those hands again, the Bondo

  129. hands. So it's this gray, gooey compound that will do you no good

  130. whatsoever. It will stick to everything and literally make a mess of everything until

  131. you add a catalyst to it, and a bunch of this stuff. Once

  132. a catalyst is added to it, then it becomes like super powerful, super

  133. useful, and you can do all sorts of stuff with it. So I've

  134. fixed rotten wood with it, I have fixed cars with it. I have

  135. fixed I've fixed you know, on the last house, I did all of

  136. the repair of the molding and the trim, like finished carpentry with Bondo.

  137. So you take a glob of it and you just take this it's a it's

  138. a red hardener. It's a catalyst. You take a red hardener and you

  139. just put a little bit of this catalyst into it, and all at once,

  140. this glob of stuff becomes super powerful and super worthless worthful. This worthless

  141. stuff becomes super worth while. And I want, I want you to see

  142. Grace that way. I want you to see grace that way. Grace.

  143. Grace is this supernatural power of God. Grace is this this amazing thing that

  144. is ladent with potential. Grace is access into heaven, and grace is heaven

  145. to you. And I've got a few little notes, but but there's a

  146. couple of categories of what grace is. By the way that grace is like

  147. all over the New Testament, one hundred and twenty four times in the New

  148. Testament grace has mentioned. Grace is God's power. Grace is supernatural or God's

  149. spiritual power revealed. Grace is his power made known. Grace is also we

  150. know it to be unmerited favor, right, so un unearned favor, unmerited

  151. favor, undeserved favor. So all at once, this you know, like

  152. this, this access us a power is made known to you beyond what you

  153. earned or you deserved, unmerited fabor. Grace is Grace is all of that.

  154. I want I want to read a couple of verses to you. And

  155. we we know grace also to be what is considered a gift, and we

  156. would we would consider a grace a gift. Let's get to Romans three twenty

  157. four. We are justified by His grace as a gift that's powerful. Justified

  158. means that when grace is imputed to us, when grace is granted or given

  159. to us, then God sees us as if we never sinned, and it's

  160. a gift through the redemption that is in Christ. Jesus want to read another

  161. powerful passage to you, a familiar one, Ephesians to eight through ten.

  162. For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. It is because

  163. it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not

  164. from yourselves, it is a gift from God. So again it's talking about

  165. a gift. The word, the Greek word for it, or the etymology

  166. of the word is chariss and from that we get charismatic, like we are

  167. charismatic Christians, and it means that we believe that all of the gifts of

  168. the spirit are available and given poured out upon every Christian. So all of

  169. us have access to all of the gifts of the spirit. The supernatural gifts

  170. of the spirit are accessible to us as the grace of God poured out,

  171. made available by the grace of God, and so they're part of our salvation.

  172. Experience. And when we think about salvation, I know we have the

  173. born again experience where you gave your life to the Word, you entrusted him

  174. with your life, you opened up your life. That's the born again experience.

  175. But when and so a lot of us read Ephesians two eight through ten

  176. or six through ten, we read it in that context. But the context

  177. of it is really bigger than the born again experience. It's actually saved is

  178. the word sozo, and it inside of that seed of the Word is the

  179. full expression of everything that you enter into in salvation. So it's not just

  180. that you were born again. When you were born again sown within you with

  181. the seed of eternal life and the seed of heaven and the seed of God's

  182. very dna, and so coming to Him in salvation, getting born again,

  183. actually you entered into the fullness of sozo, though it isn't fully worked out

  184. within your life, yet that's what you entered into. It's like the seed

  185. of God has been planted with in you, and so Soza means being delivered

  186. out of darkness and being delivered into your promise. It pictures both deliverance and

  187. the new creation and the fullness of salvation for you, and so Ephesians two

  188. eight through ten. For it is by grace you have been saved through faith.

  189. Everybody say through faith, and this not yourselves. It is the gift

  190. of God, not by work, so that no one can boast, for

  191. we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus, were created in Christ Jesus.

  192. We're not creating now. Christ Jesus is the last atom. We are no

  193. longer living in the first atom. We're created in the last atom. Christ

  194. Jesus is the last atom. He is the restored man. Christ Jesus is

  195. the one who came to set everything right. Christ Jesus is the one who

  196. came to restore everything, and he's the fountainhead of a new creation. That's

  197. Christ Jesus. We're created. You were created in the first atom. Now

  198. you're created in the last atom. You're created in Christ Jesus as a new

  199. creature, a new creation. All of this operates through the power of His

  200. grace. But I want you to see the activator of it is your faith.

  201. Grace is this giant thing, like this giant god thing that we participate

  202. in that has deliberables, Like there's deliberables to your life. Like blessings and

  203. kindness and an abundance and provision, and I mean, there's just so much

  204. that is wrapped up in the grace of God. But the activator is through

  205. faith. For it is by grace. You have been saved through faith.

  206. So I want you to see, the grace isn't poured out on you first.

  207. The grace is poured out upon you as a response to you activating the

  208. grace with your faith. And that's the way it always is. The Kingdom

  209. and everything about the Kingdom, and everything about the New Creation, and everything

  210. about living the New Creation life is activated by your faith. The grace doesn't

  211. proceed, the grace follows your faith. You hear of the Christ, you

  212. access him by your faith. You hear of his promises, You access it

  213. by faith, you hear of his commandments, you access the power of it

  214. by your faith. Anything you hear about in the Kingdom, anything you come

  215. to know about Him in the Kingdom, anything, because he is not only

  216. perfect theology, but he is the mature picture of who you've come into and

  217. who you now are. Anything you learn about, anything that's in the Word

  218. about him, anything anything that God requires of you, everything about the New

  219. creation, the grace for it or the power for it. You access that

  220. by faith if you're waiting, if you're waiting for it to come up on

  221. you, and then you'll activate your faith. You're backwards, Okay, I'll

  222. try to explain it more as we go. Second Corinthians nine eight talks about

  223. grace as the power of God for living a supernatural life. It talks about

  224. the power of God, not just some merited favor, but the power of

  225. God that shows up causing you to abound because you exercise your faith. Second

  226. Corinthians nine, verse eight. And the context here is the context. Here's

  227. money. And I won't get into the context. And this is not a

  228. sermon on money, but the context is money. And it's Paul talking about

  229. that if you so much, you will reap much. If you sew little,

  230. you'll reap little. And he's talking about and he's exhorting them, but

  231. I want you to sew much because God is able to make you abound.

  232. He's able to flood your life with a grace. But he says, I

  233. want you to sew according to your faith. So this is it's an interesting

  234. thing. And Second Corinthians nine eight says God is able to make all grace.

  235. God is able to make all grace abound to you. God is able

  236. to make all grace abound to you. And he's usually when he's talking this

  237. way, like in the Galatians six, seven and eight, he talks the

  238. same way. It's usually because we're going to be challenged. We're going to

  239. be challenged, and the old life, the atom life, is going to

  240. want to pop up and dictate what we do. It's going to want to

  241. argue, yeah, but if you do that, or if you give that,

  242. or if you walk that out, you're gonna and it's going to want

  243. to challenge. There's a voice, and there's reasoning, and there's imagination that

  244. wants to come up out of the old atom, and it wants to challenge

  245. the word of God and the conviction of God and the Holy Spirit and the

  246. leading of the Holy Spirit and say, now, I don't think you should

  247. do that. And like in this context, since it was about giving money,

  248. oh yeah, you know, the enemy's going to show up and challenge

  249. that one. Right, So he says, yeah, but yeah, but

  250. listen, God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that

  251. having all sufficiency in all things at all times. You may abound in every

  252. good work. Now when would that grace show up? If you look at

  253. the context, the grace isn't going to show up before they're offering. This

  254. is this is the Corinthian Church being exhorted to give an offering. The grace

  255. isn't going to show up before. And it doesn't work that way for any

  256. of us either. It's not like, yeah, I would give something today

  257. if I had extra what's that coming through the air? An envelope full of

  258. what is it? Let me catch it? Open that the eight hundred dollars.

  259. Thank you Lord, I'll give some of this back to you. Now,

  260. it doesn't work that way. It's not like it's not like the grace

  261. comes first and then we act in faith. No, we act in faith

  262. first. We act in faith first. This is the way it always works.

  263. You act in faith first, and then it opens up the grace.

  264. And you would have never known the grace if you wouldn't have acted in faith.

  265. But because you acted in faith, it opened up the grace and the

  266. faith became the catalyst or the activator to enter you into the grace life.

  267. This is the way the Kingdom works. That makes sense, and this is

  268. the way it was going to work for them as well, He telling the

  269. church at Corinth, I guarantee, if you will sew your seed according to

  270. your faith, then God will open up all grace, all you will abound

  271. in it will It will take you into the realm of charisma. It will

  272. take you into the realm of His blessing, and you will end up abounding

  273. at all times for every good work. Isn't that crazy? So I'm trying

  274. to I'm trying to help you see. The life recalled to in the New

  275. Creation is a life. It's a faith life. And the grace to enter

  276. into everything that is part of the New Creation, the grace, the enablement

  277. and the power to enter into it. It starts with your faith first.

  278. It doesn't start with the grace first. So that's why we do things when

  279. we don't feel like it, because we do things by faith. That's why

  280. we love people when it's hard or challenging, because we do it by faith.

  281. That's why we give when it doesn't even seem like we should give,

  282. because we do it by faith. That's why we're kind when it's challenging to

  283. be kind, because we're kind by faith. Because we've put the first atom

  284. to death, and we have declared that the first atom is crucified, that

  285. our lineage, our association, our obligation, our agreement, and our subjugation

  286. to first atom has been cut off by Jesus and the Cross, and that

  287. we no longer live according to the desires of that person, but we now

  288. live according to the desires of Christ within us. Let me read you some

  289. verses real quick, Galatians to twenty. I have been crucified with Christ.

  290. Yeah, but I look like I'm still here, which I what do you

  291. mean? I have been crucified. I have been crucified with Christ, and

  292. I no longer live. Okay, so the guy that's crucified with Christ no

  293. longer lives, but Christ lives in me and the life I now live in

  294. the body I live by faith in the Son of God. Oh. So

  295. faith allowed me to enter into a new person who's living. And the new

  296. person who's living is now animating my body and in control of my body.

  297. So the old person is dead, but there's a new person alive, and

  298. the new person can only live and access the power for living by faith in

  299. the Son. It's by faith in the Son I live by the faith in

  300. the Son who loved me and gave himself for me Roman six ones or seven?

  301. What shall we say? Shall we go on sinning so that grace will

  302. increase? No, says Paul, who mentions grace eighty six times in the

  303. New Testament. That's not how grace increases. Grace doesn't increase by sin.

  304. Grace increases by faith. Now we have this thing in Christianity where we think

  305. that we're covered by grace, and so we think that we can sin because

  306. we're covered by grace. We use grace as an excuse to sin. Hello,

  307. we use grace as an excuse to sin because we misunderstand grace. And

  308. see, what we're missing is that when I sin, I'm actually not walking

  309. by faith. And if I don't walk by faith, that means I've cut

  310. grace off. Did you hear that I'm actually in trouble spiritually. I can't

  311. sin and think that grace is going to cover me, because to sin is

  312. to fall short of faith. It's actually to distrust God and to partner with

  313. fear. And when I partner with fear, I'm partnering secondly with rebellion and

  314. disobedience and pride, and I'm partnering with fear because I'm afraid that if I

  315. follow God then i won't get what I really want. And so actually I'm

  316. not being covered by grace. I'm actually abusing the grace. That's why Hebrews

  317. ten says, when we continue this way, we're trampling on his grace.

  318. Am I making sense? Am I making any sense at all? And so

  319. what shall we say? Shall we go on sinning so the grace will increase?

  320. No, that's not how grace increases. By no means. We are

  321. those who have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?

  322. Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus

  323. were baptized into his death. We were therefore buried with him through baptism in

  324. death. That just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of

  325. the Father, we two may live a new life. Were called to live

  326. a new life, and it's a new life of faith, it's a new

  327. life of believing. For if we've been united with Him and death like this,

  328. we will certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like this. So

  329. we are called to live a resurrected life. I'm presenting all of this crud

  330. to the Lord in faith, believing that to follow him and to follow his

  331. word is much better, and it results in a resurrected life. And a

  332. resurrected life is a life filled with grace, a life where grace is showing

  333. up all the time, power, revelation, and undeserved favor. Can I

  334. make any sense Ephesians four seventeen or twenty one. So I tell you this,

  335. and I insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer

  336. live as the gentiles do in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened

  337. in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that's

  338. in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity,

  339. they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of

  340. impurity, and they're full of greed. But that's not the way of life

  341. that you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him according to

  342. the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught that, in regard to

  343. your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is

  344. being corrupted by deceitful desires, and to be made new in the attitude or

  345. the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new self created to

  346. be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Now that takes a pile of

  347. faith. It takes a pile of faith to set aside jealousy, to set

  348. aside pouting, to set aside self pity, to set aside negativity, to

  349. set that self aside, and to know that to choose the way of the

  350. Lord will be better, higher, and have a greater reward, and it

  351. will release a faith over you. And if you until until you do that,

  352. you don't know the grace that will be released. And it's possible for

  353. all of us to walk around as Christians and to have fragments of grace and

  354. portions of grace and partial grace because we have a grace that has given us

  355. according to the truth that we yield to and walk in. But the truth

  356. that we refuse to yield to and walk in, then we fail to taste

  357. of that grace. But instead we're empowering the unclean, realm over us.

  358. Well how do we do that? Well, here's what I think. I

  359. think that all of these Kingdom. Principles work in the reverse as much as

  360. they work in the forward. In other words, they work in darkness exactly

  361. like they work in the kingdom of light. If faith, if faith in

  362. God, if faith in God accesses the grace of God, then faith in

  363. the enemy or doubt and fear. By the way, did you know that

  364. doubt and fear and distrust? Did you know that it's actually it's actually not

  365. doubt, fear and distrust. Did you know that it's not like some ambiguous

  366. thing that like, oh, yeah I was just afraid, or yeah,

  367. well that was just fear, or yeah I've had these fears and it's just

  368. you know, it's just it's not something that is without power. What I

  369. want to say jest to you, is that fear is actually faith. In

  370. darkness, fear is actually faith. Satan's kingdom works exactly like God's does the

  371. kingdom of darkness. This is why the Bible says when we get to the

  372. end of time, we're going to seize Satan. All of us are going

  373. to get a glimpse of Satan at the end of all of this, and

  374. we're going to shake our heads and we're going to say, what in the

  375. world. That's the one who made the nation's shake. It's because we're not

  376. going to be impressed with his stature. We're not going to be impressed with

  377. his size. We're not going to be impressed with his majesty. We're not

  378. going to be impressed with his strength. We're not going to be impressed with

  379. anything about Satan. Why because we're the ones that give him power. He

  380. has no power but the power we get him. It's the power of our

  381. faith. If you believe the enemy can steal, he will steal. If

  382. you believe that the enemy's way is the best way, then he will have

  383. you with a bondage. Whatever you believe, whatever you believe, it's you

  384. and I that gives strength to the enemy. It's you and I that give

  385. him the food that he needs to be strong, or to have dominion,

  386. or to have power or influence over us in our lives. It's you and

  387. I. So even as your faith activates the grace of God, your faith

  388. in the things of darkness activate the grace. If I could say it this

  389. way, please forgive me. I don't want to offend you. Obviously,

  390. I'm just using this terminology so we understand it because there's nothing gracious about darkness.

  391. But if we understand grace as the supernatural power of God's realm, then

  392. your faith or your doubt, fear, and unbelief gives you access to the

  393. grace of darkness, to the grace of His realm, meeting supernatural power,

  394. the power of darkness, the bondage of darkness, the influence of darkness,

  395. releasing the power of the curse over you, making the curse more effective.

  396. Why does it seem like this is so powerful? Why does it seem like

  397. I can't get a breakthrough? Why does it seem like this is like I

  398. can't get over the top of this. Why does it seem like this is

  399. Well, it is powerful because your faith. See, your faith is much

  400. more than just if you've seen the catalyst for bondo. It's just a little

  401. bit of red tube. It's like yeast to bread. It's just a little

  402. bitty ingredient. And you're thinking, that's just a little bitty fear, that

  403. fear, that's no big deal. I don't you know, it's just a

  404. little bit. Don't judge me for my fear. It's just a little bitty

  405. fear. Yeah, Well, it's just a it only takes a little catalyst.

  406. A little catalyst mixed in causes everything to be transformed. A little catalyst.

  407. Go ahead. I like it. It's good even more, it's it's

  408. it's wonderful. It makes me sound better. It's like a little catalyst.

  409. Any thought, reason, emotion, or imagination, statement or confession that falls

  410. short of the New creation is born of fear, and it is secured,

  411. helped, strengthened with rebellion, pride, or accusation. Born of fear.

  412. Yeah, I'm not really one to share my faith. That could be a

  413. statement or an imagination. But do we realize that is the person that died.

  414. Whenever I allow the old creation to speak for me and I miss out

  415. on the grace of the new creation. I'm not one that gives generously.

  416. Well, I thought that guy died. I'm not quick to forgive well that

  417. one died. I don't let things. I don't let go of things easily.

  418. Well, that one died. I tend to get irritated. Well,

  419. that one died on my own worst credit. That one should have died.

  420. I'm untrusting of others. That one should be dead. I have to see

  421. it to believe it. Well, that one should be dead. It takes

  422. me a long time to forgive that one should be dead. I believe in

  423. God, but I always like to have a backup plan. You know,

  424. we could list about fifty or one hundred other things that we believe or hold

  425. to, or say, or allow or agree with as Christians that totally fall

  426. short of the new creation life and the maturity we're called to in Christ Jesus.

  427. But we allow these things because they're just small little things. But we

  428. don't realize that small little thing is like the catalyst that ignites the kingdom of

  429. darkness against us, and it's sabotaging us and hindering us and harming us,

  430. and it's keeping us from accessing the grace of God because it's not the catalyst

  431. of faith, and the catalyst of faith, which is not the catalysts of

  432. your feelings. It's not the catalyst of circumstances. It's not the catalyst of

  433. what you see. The catalyst of faith is the catalysts of agreement with God's

  434. word and what he says about you and why he made you to be,

  435. and what he's called you to be and what He's commanded you to do,

  436. and everything about God, the catalysts of faith in that would have ignited something

  437. great on your behalf. It would have ignited grace, It would have released

  438. supernatural power over you. But you'll never know it in that category because you

  439. are not exercising your faith. Instead, you're turning this catalyst loose, this

  440. little daub of fear. I know we're late. I know, I know,

  441. I know, I know. I know the kids need attention to the

  442. barbecues burning. Stand with me. Colossians three twelve says, Therefore, as

  443. God's chosen children, holy and dearly love, clothe yourselves, Clothe yourselves with

  444. compassion, with kindness, with humility, with gentleness, with patience, bear

  445. with one another and forgive one another. And it's all about Christ. Let

  446. Christ's rule in your heart. He goes on to say, let Christ's rule

  447. in your heart. Clothe yourselves with Christ. Put him on, and let

  448. Christ's rule in your heart. But you know what we do. You know

  449. what we do. We fear that compassion will be taken advantage of, so

  450. we hesitate. We fear that kindness won't be reciprocated. We fear that gentleness

  451. will make the message too soft. We fear that patience will horses more time,

  452. and so we argue with what we're called to. We argue with the

  453. new creation, and we fear and we doubt that it will produce what God

  454. would bless us with. And we even look around and see it's not working

  455. all that great for other believers either. Well, maybe others aren't clothing themselves

  456. with Christ studs. Well, Oh, Holy Spirit, we just want your

  457. We want sure your race and the pathway toward it to become so powerfully clear

  458. to us today, Holy Spirit, we want to be done of every fear.

  459. We want to rid our hearts, our lives of every fear. Holy

  460. Spirit, Come on, we just lift up your heart, your voice,

  461. your hands of mine, join me as we just together, say Father,

  462. and lead us into wisdom. Lead us into the wisdom room above. Lead

  463. us into the life of faith, the life of faith. Let us tolerate

  464. no fear, no doubt, no distrust, no unbelief, no rebellion,

  465. no pride. Everything you've said about us, we agree it's true. Everything

  466. you've called us to, we agree it's true. Every promise you've declared over

  467. us, we believe it's true. Holy Spirit. We rise up to higher

  468. heights, not walking by emotion, not walking by circumstance, not walking at

  469. a protection of the old person, not walking giving resurrection to that one once

  470. lived, walking in and under the new atom, walking in and under the

  471. Christ life, walking in and by the Christ, the faith of the Son

  472. who's given himself to us. Turn our hearts to you, and we see

  473. that grace doesn't lead the way. Faith leads the way. And we choose

  474. the life of faith today. We choose a heart of faith today. We

  475. choose a mouth of faith today, a confession of faith today. And we

  476. bless you for it. In Jesus name. Everybody said, God, bless

  477. your church. Let's worship as we go today,
