  1. Okay, good morning. Are you guys happy? Oh yeah, it's such

  2. a good time. Man, Just close your eyes for a second. Lord,

  3. we just thank you for your goodness this morning. We're not in a

  4. hurry. Just take a moment to remember it's all about you. It's all

  5. about you, Jesus, and it's all about what you want to do.

  6. It's the craziest thing, Gody, You're all about us. Just like blows

  7. your mind, how you're so in love with us, You're so fixated on

  8. us. And I believe that I will even free somebody here today to know

  9. that God is so fixated on you. He's not disappointed when he's looking at

  10. you. He's actually smiling. He loved a man. Okay, I got

  11. like twenty minutes. Hey, it's better than last service. Well, no,

  12. last service. I thought I had like fifteen. No Ida, I

  13. have two more menister service? Who two minutes one? This is good.

  14. I'm so glad. I would you know, I would be stuck in worship

  15. the whole time as long as the Lord's ministering to us. You know,

  16. he's already speaking to our hearts. There's things that you've probably already received that

  17. you can walk out of those doors and you'll be okay. You'll be all

  18. right. And so that's that's what we're after work. We don't just want

  19. some fancy words or even some convicting message that I'm about to bring, you

  20. know, we just we just need Jesus, and if we have him,

  21. we're gonna be okay. And if you walk away with that, you'll be

  22. okay. If you just have Jesus, you'll be all right. A few

  23. nights ago, I was praying that God would light up my world and just

  24. expose any thought pattern, any perspective, any motive that is contrary to who

  25. He is in his heart. And so that night I had a dream.

  26. And in this dream, I got underpaid for a job that was supposed to

  27. be for six hundred books. And the client gives me three hundred dollars bills,

  28. gives me twenty two three twenties, and three packets of like spices,

  29. you know, like the taco flavoring, taco flavoring, taco seasoning, those

  30. kind of like cheap spot They weren't like expensive cheap spices. I felt like

  31. this is not right. I told him. I was like, listen,

  32. I only get paid cash. I'm sorry, and he's like, sorry,

  33. this is all I got, and I started to defend what's mine. I'm

  34. like, sorry, I'm kind of need to take a payment. We signed

  35. a contract. And he goes into his jew, doesn't find anything there.

  36. He goes into his car, doesn't find anything there, and so I'm in

  37. the beginning of his driveway and I'm like not letting him leave. He turns

  38. on his car to leave and I'm like, no, you're not going anywhere.

  39. I need my money. And he tries to go around me and he

  40. gets on the rock. His old front end on the car goes up.

  41. Is terrible for him. He gets out of the car and I just make

  42. a scene, big scene, and while he's trying to push me away from

  43. his property, and I'm trying to take what's mine. I used to do

  44. wrestling in high school, and so I did this cool submission. I don't

  45. even know what I did, but it was cool in the dream. And

  46. I put him down on the ground and I'm like, you owe me what's

  47. mine. And the Lord begins to wake me up from the dream in that

  48. moment, and he whispered something to me, how I just begin to cry,

  49. and he says to me like waking me up from this dream, no

  50. time to process what's going on. Nothing just wakes me up. I still

  51. feel the injustice, by the way. I still feel like have you ever

  52. woken from a dream and you're still in the dream and you feel what you're

  53. feeling in the dream. And so I still feel like somebody owes me money.

  54. I don't know who it is. And I hear the Holy Spirit brings

  55. the words of Jesus to my mind as I'm laying on My eyes are still

  56. closed. I just woke up. It was like three in the morning or

  57. six, and I don't remember. It was early in the morning. And

  58. he says to me, says, if they take your shirt, give him

  59. your coat, and if they force you to walk one mile, walk too.

  60. And in the matter of ten seconds, I go from feeling like I

  61. need to take what's mine and if I ain't defending myself, nobody will.

  62. In this perspective that I had for myself in my life, the Lord being

  63. a interject and he's saying, it's more blessed to give than to receive.

  64. Your job is to love. His job is to give justice. How many

  65. of us know that the Kingdom of God it's an upside down kingdom. The

  66. first shall be last, the last shall be first. If you want to

  67. be the greatest among us, you shall be the least the servant. And

  68. today I want to talk about this perspective, the kingdom perspective. And God

  69. was just totally like reckon me. He woke me up from a dream just

  70. to wreck me in the middle of the night. And I was wrecked.

  71. And I was like, God, I don't want I don't want to ounce

  72. of a perspective that doesn't belong to you. If you turned with me to

  73. Mark chapter eight in this In this chapter, Jesus asks his disciples who do

  74. people say I am? And they begin to say you're this, You're that,

  75. You're prophet, great guy, the greatest guy that has ever lived.

  76. And then he asked him who do you say I am? And Peter gets

  77. up and he's like, man, you're the Messiah. And then Jesus.

  78. After that was revealed to the disciples, Jesus begins to tell them what Jesus

  79. must go through, that he must suffer at the hand of the Pharisees,

  80. and that he will die but on the third dead hell in third day he'll

  81. raise from the dead and Peter full of revelation. It's like God forbid that

  82. happened to you, Jesus, and watch what happens. In verse thirty three,

  83. Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples and then reprimended Peter. Get

  84. away from me, Satan. He said, you are seeing things merely from

  85. a human point of view and not from God's. Several things going on here,

  86. first thing he guys, ready for this. The first thing Jesus releases

  87. to Peter and to us is that your revelation of Jesus and your proximity to

  88. Jesus does not exempt you from being influenced by Satan. Your nearness, your

  89. relationship to Jesus does not exempt you from the attack and influence of the devil.

  90. The second thing he does is there's a separation that Jesus performs from what

  91. God thinks and what man think. And God's ways are always higher. And

  92. so watch what he does. He marries. He marries, marries like conjoins

  93. human perspective with Satan. But in doing so, watch what he does.

  94. He conjoins Peter's perspective with God's. It'll hit you in just a second.

  95. Jesus did not say to Peter, get away from me, Peter. He

  96. turned to Peter and said, get away from me, Satan, for the

  97. perspective is of this world and not from God. In joining a worldly perspective

  98. to Satan, he pulled Peter out of that and said, that is not

  99. you, Peter, and he's speaking that over his bride over us. That

  100. is not our perspective, the human perspective, the worldly perspective is not our

  101. perspective. We're called to where our identity is in Christ, and Christ is

  102. seated with him. We're seated in the heavenly places. Therefore, the perspective

  103. that we have as kingdom people is different than the human perspective. And so

  104. one might ask what caused Peter to try to get Jesus to not die.

  105. What caused Peter to have this thing build up inside of him and say,

  106. no, Jesus, you cannot die this, this cannot be to rebuke Jesus.

  107. It's like I'm reading this thing. The only thing I could think of

  108. a selfishness. Selfishness. Selfishness is way more than greed, by the way,

  109. selfishness is a filter that when it comes onto your eyes, when when

  110. when when a person is selfish. Everything they see, everything they do,

  111. the way they think is for self, even subconsciously. James, chapter three,

  112. verse fifteen, jealousy and selfishness is not God's wisdom, the word wisdom.

  113. It's it's almost like a form of life. And you live the way

  114. you see by the way, So it comes from a perspective. So selfishness

  115. and jealousy, James writes that it is not God's wisdom. Such things are

  116. earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. Once again we find that selfishness does not

  117. belong to the body of Christ. It belongs to demonic theology and demonic thinking.

  118. I know this is strong and it's heavy, but like we're singing crazy

  119. songs. Guys, we're singing like I'm not satisfied. We're singing things like

  120. I want to real encounter. I'll tell you what. When you present yourself

  121. before the Lord and you say, God, I'm not satisfied and I want

  122. to real encounter, there must be an exchange that happens. And we find

  123. this exchange back in Mark chapter eight, verse thirty four, when Jesus rebuked

  124. Satan and Peter. When Jesus rebuked the perspective that Peter was coming with.

  125. He gives them, He gives him. I don't want to say this wrong?

  126. Is it the anecdote? Yeah? Is that right? He gives them

  127. the solution for that perspective. I gotta use simple words. I don't know

  128. what I'm thinking Verse thirty four. Then, calling out to the crowd,

  129. he says, if anyone, any one of you wants to be my follower,

  130. you must turn from your selfish ways. M Why would Jesus say that

  131. right after rebuking the Satan and Peter? Why? Because there needs to be

  132. in exchange. You must lay down your perspective for his perspective. There is

  133. no two. There is no my way in his way. A lot of

  134. us try to make a plan for our life and then ask God to bless

  135. it. No, we got to lay down our life so that He can

  136. show us the direction and it will be blessed. A lot of us are

  137. scared to tithe. He's already laid it out in here. Why what are

  138. we holding onto? Like? God can do more with your ten percent than

  139. you can do with your hundred. But we're so tied to self and selfish?

  140. And how do I and what I can I do? I mean,

  141. you look at COVID nineteen. Yeah, I'm going way back there. COVID

  142. nineteen. We think it's about a disease, death, and and just there's

  143. so much more that the enemy did than death. He's trying to infiltrate the

  144. perspective of the bride. What did COVID do before you walked out? Grab

  145. a mask? You don't know who you're gonna meet. You're always thinking.

  146. Every day. I remember, probably over a year, every single day somebody

  147. said something about COVID. And if we talked about Jesus that way, I'm

  148. telling you things would shift around us. But watch, every day we talked

  149. about COVID every day, Like I don't remember, I remember thinking, I

  150. can't wait for the day somebody doesn't talk about COVID. I just can't wait.

  151. But every day we talked about it, and in the back of our

  152. mind, in the subconscious of our brain, the enemy infiltrated and made us

  153. think in selfish ways. It didn't just end with COVID. What's some of

  154. the fruits of COVID? Distance, fear. Somebody just said it, less

  155. love, less hope, less fellowship. A lot of us just got cooked

  156. up in our homes and we got used to being distant from others, and

  157. then we're saying we're traverted. Okay, I'm not gonna go there. Oh,

  158. Lord, please forgive me for that one. That one. I don't

  159. know if that one was the Lord. But I'll tell you what. I'll

  160. tell you what. There's so much in here about fellowship with one another that

  161. we can't hide behind the way we think that God created us and separate from

  162. each other. There needs to be a fellowship. Okay, there's a position,

  163. and there's a place where you're just more reserved and to yourself. That's

  164. fine, but don't hide from others. They got us to daily think self

  165. centered thoughts, and the self centered thoughts put a filter on the rest of

  166. our thinking, referring to money, referring to time, what we do with

  167. our time, with our energy, how we plan and what we plan for

  168. in the back of our mind. Through even COVID just got thinking about me,

  169. myself and I when in Mark Jesus is saying, if you want to

  170. be his follower, me myself and I must die. I know it's kind

  171. of it's kind of strong, but it's good. This is good. To

  172. be selfish is to be contrary to the design of God in your life.

  173. You weren't created for yourself first and foremost. You were created for the Lord

  174. and for your neighbor. Believe it or not. It's like I'm gonna bring

  175. this example, like a man can build a house, I've heard this,

  176. but a woman can make it a home. It's just one phrase of so

  177. much of what God does with fellowship, like and Psalms. I believe it

  178. writes one equals one thousand, but two equals ten thousand? What kind of

  179. math is that? What is three equal? What about four? What about

  180. two hundred? In the room? Oh Lord, I don't know what I'm

  181. gonna do, Like my time is out. But that was like half the

  182. message. There's like there's like there's a second part to this. And oh

  183. lord, why don't you guys just sign up for Kingdom School of Transformation.

  184. We'll go through it there. I don't know, we'll just do it in

  185. here. We don't have to do it in the Fellowship of Alve. I

  186. mean, we are like twentysome students and it's okay. If we get a

  187. hundre, that's fine. Do sign up within three days, by the way,

  188. and pay the money. We'll take that too. The second part of

  189. all this is your conscience, Jesus says, and I believe. In Mark

  190. chapter five he says that blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall

  191. see God. There's a perspective that is only accessible through a purity of heart.

  192. The word heart is really connected to that conscience place of who you are.

  193. The conscience God gave us is one of the most valuable and treasured things

  194. for a believer, because the conscience is where the spirit of the Lord.

  195. To those who believe in Jesus, that's where the spirit of the Lord comes

  196. and makes his home with your conscience, and out of that place he begins

  197. to convict you of sin, selfishness, and anything else that is not connected

  198. to the Lord. It is through that conscious place that I had the dream

  199. where the Lord began a correct selfishness and what I thought was righteous justice.

  200. And it's that place that He gives us that is to be treasured, to

  201. be valued, And a lot of times we find and even in John chapter

  202. ten, verse three, Jesus brings up almost like a parable where he says,

  203. my sheep hear my voice, and the voice they hear, they follow

  204. and I'm a good shepherd. There's there's that scripture and Jesus says that the

  205. sheep, when they hear a stranger's voice, they flee, they don't run

  206. because they don't recognize that voice. But what happens when you hear the voice

  207. of Jesus and you ignore it, that's called a violation. It's where you

  208. violate your conscience. It's where you violate the most treasured thing God gave you.

  209. It's that place to be kept holy. And the way that the Lord

  210. speaks through your conscience isn't like loud. Yeah, somebody said I wish it

  211. was. Yeah. He calms like a gentle whisper. Conviction, just so

  212. subtle, almost like if you dare think twice, you'll miss it. He's

  213. just like poored because he's testing our hearts in response to the shepherd's voice.

  214. And what happens is when we continuously violate the conscience. What happens as we

  215. become corrupted, and the price we pay for not following the shepherd's voice is

  216. following one of us strangers. The voice of a stranger sounds like selfishness,

  217. greed, it's my tithe, my money, Well they did me wrong.

  218. I'll refer you back to Mark thirty four thirty five eight thirty four thirty five.

  219. Anything contrary to the self lessness is contrary to your design and the Lord.

  220. So if we'll take a few steps back. As believers, the Lord

  221. gave us a conscience, and he breathed this Holy spirit into us to speak

  222. through that place of our conscience, a redeemed auncience that tells us what's right,

  223. what's wrong. It's more than just morals. Unbelievers can have good morals.

  224. It's more than that. It's the whisper of Lord. You see,

  225. Joseph had a good moral and good heart to let go of Mary when he

  226. found out she was pregnant. But that was not the Lord. That was

  227. not Godly. So that place of your conscience, where the Lord speaks,

  228. is more than just morals and good thoughts and earthly wisdom. It's a perspective

  229. that is a Kingdom perspective. And we cannot see what God wants us to

  230. see unless that place is cleaned, unless that place is clear. A lot

  231. of us made commitments to not watch things, and we're watching them. I'm

  232. being real. A lot of us made commitments to not speak a certain way,

  233. slander or slandering or speaking certain ways. A lot of us know in

  234. our heart that we need to forgive, truly forgive as though it never happened.

  235. Yet we find Christian language to justify. Yeah, that's demonic, That's

  236. what James said, the wisdom of this world that is selfish. It's demonic.

  237. And it being demonic it means it's not you. So there's no shame.

  238. And repentance. I think Jeff mentioned it in the first service. He

  239. said, repentance is just the change of course. It's it's just a little

  240. bit of a change of course, and repentance is actually God's little grace kiss

  241. to you for you to be able to shift and change and to pursue what's

  242. right, pursue what's holy, because that's who you're called to be. It's

  243. an identity question. Do you know who you belong to? Do you know

  244. who you are? Because the moment that revelation hits you, things begin to

  245. shift. The way you see things. All of a sudden, you're holy

  246. and the way you do things is holy and you don't even know why.

  247. It's because the Spirit of God has sprinkled the blood of Jesus over your conscience

  248. and has purified things I want to go to Hebrews Chapter nine, real quick,

  249. verse twelve, in verse fourteen. With his own blood, not the

  250. blood of goats and calves, he entered the most holy Place once and for

  251. all and secured our redemption forever verse fourteen. Just think how much more the

  252. blood of Jesus will purify our conscience from sinful beads, so that we can

  253. worship the Living God Chapter ten, verse nineteen. And so, dear brothers

  254. and sisters, we can boldly enter Heaven's most holy place because of the blood

  255. of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life giving way

  256. through the curtain into the most holy Place. And since we we have a

  257. great high priest who rules God's house, let us go right into the presence

  258. of God with sincere hearts, fully trusting him, for our guilty conscience has

  259. been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean. John chapter one, verse

  260. one First John chapter one, verse nine. If we confess our sins to

  261. him, he is faithful to forgive our sins and to cleanse us of all

  262. wickedness and all unrighteousness. That cleansing of wickedness and unrighteousness. It's a question

  263. of conscience and heart. It's not a question of just what I've done.

  264. It's an inward cleaning and it's only possible through the sprinkle of the blood of

  265. the Lamb. That's why we take communion. I'd like for you guys to

  266. stand with me. I don't know where you are in life. I don't

  267. know how you violated your conscience. See, the Bible says everything is permissible,

  268. but not everything is beneficial, and so a lot of times the Bible

  269. doesn't have a clearer yes and no. But the Holy Spirit conscience in you

  270. is a clear yes and no. And a violation of that is a violation

  271. of sin. That's in Romans, I believe chapter sixteen. When you violate

  272. the conscience, that's sin. But here's the beauty that you and I behold,

  273. it's the blood of the Lamb. If you want to real encounter,

  274. this is the most precious thing you can have, is a blood washed conscience.

  275. The place where the Lord can finally land on. Did you know every

  276. day you can walk that way to have fellowship and communion with the Lord.

  277. Did you close your eyes Father this morning? Spirit of the Living God,

  278. would you convict our hearts and our minds of any place. But we've stumbled

  279. to hear your voice. Any place we've violated our conscience. I'll say that

  280. the blood jeans Lodge. Come on, just sing that the blood of jeeves.

  281. I can oh again, nothing sing out precious no, prescious is love

  282. makes me? Why nother fusie? No? God, if you have to

  283. go get your kids, please go get him. I want to invite the

  284. City team. Please come up. If you can't quickly, it's a gentle

  285. moment. It doesn't have to be so emotionful. It could just be good

  286. holy conviction. Like some of us are sleeping outside of marriage with other people,

  287. like just repent to like be called higher. There's things that God is

  288. doing. Some of us are just uncontrollably drinking, Like God can God can

  289. free you from that. And not only that, there's a place for holiness

  290. and the spiritual Lord. He will begin a convict and he will do his

  291. job and your responsibilities just to respond to him. Just say yes to him.

  292. And so as the death Ciny team comes up. If the Lord is

  293. convicting you of something and maybe you got to repent from someone, just be

  294. quick to respond to him. It's not worth it to resist him. It's

  295. not worth it to not follow the shepherd's voice. So this this, as

  296. we close this service, don't fail to respond to Precious Jesus. Thank you,

  297. thank you, Lord, take us away worshiping
