Don't. Let's stand and pray over the word real quick. Glad you hear,

Glad to be in the house, so fun what God's doing rem for

Behold, darkness will cover the earth. Darkness will cover the earth, and

deep darkness to peoples. But the Lord will rise upon you, and his

glory will appear upon you. Come on, somebody, nations will come to

your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your

eyes round about and see they all gather together. They come to you.

Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried in the

arms. Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill

and rejoice because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you. Father.

We just turn our hearts to your glory. We turn our hearts to

the development of your glory within us, the development of your glory within us.

Joel talked about the mitochondria recently. You have a mitochondria within you.

The motor of your entire being is your spiritman, and the glory of your

spirit man, Holy Spirit. We welcome you to develop the glory within our

Spiritman. There'll be a deepening today. We ask we pray, we believe

in Jesus' name. Everybody said, amen, you may be seated. Our

theme, our theme is out of Isaiah forty, but it's you know,

it's in Malachi three as well. And we've been meditating on this theme a

little bit, just feeling like this is what the howays heard saying right now,

and so we're going to lean into what he's saying, and when he

says something, we try to figure out what he's saying, right So some

of this stuff is, you know, these are the mysteries that we long

to look into and to understand. And what we feel like he's saying is

to prepare for his coming. And it's not the coming like the second Coming

or the rapture pend of coming, but it's just a coming in glory,

a greater coming in glory. And the part of it we have to realize

is that the coming of the glory, the coming in glory that he has

in mind is a glory within you. It's a glory that you develop within

you, in your inner man, in your spirit man. And that's that's,

you know, even as even as it pertains to for Thessalonians four,

which is the rapture passage, the Second Coming Passage evangelicals, if you're a

Protestant evangelical, you might not as the rapture passage, but it says something

interesting. You know, this is not a rapture message, but it says

that He's coming back for a glorious church without spot or wrinkle. And I,

you know, I often talk to you, you know, out of

Ephesians four and kind of mess with your brain and tell you that, uh,

you know, out of Ephesians four eleven through fifteen, it says that

the fivefold ministry will continue to equip the Saints until we all come into the

unity of the faith of the Sun, not the faith of the Baptist,

not the faith of the Methodists, not the faith of the Assembly of God,

not the faith of the four Square, not the faith the Episcopalian,

not the faith of the Catholic, till we all come into the faith of

the Sun, and we come into the maturity of the Sun. So that's

why I teach you sometimes and say, there's going to be a generation that

walks on water. There's going to be a generation that will pay their tithe

by getting a coin off the bottom of the of the lake, not their

tithe. It was their tax he paid. Remember how he paid his axes.

You can pay your time that way too. That'd be pretty cool me.

All right. So we're talking about the development of a glorious church,

and I think this is on his mind, and I think he's passionate about

it because of the very thing that we just read out of Isaiah chapter sixty,

where darkness could cover the earth, and right now we're dealing with a

lot of darkness. We keep talking about it. I don't mean to wear

you out. We're talking about darkness. I hope I'm not bugging you.

But it's pretty obvious that things have become more dark. But the amazing part

is that glory increases on the righteous in the midst of darkness. Glory increases

in the midst of darkness, and of course that glory becomes the salvation of

the nations. So then the nations come to the glory. And it's not

only the glory on you, it's the glory in you. You have to

know it's the glory in you, not just the glory on you that you

carry in this earth. And Vessel Paul said, you carry the glory of

God in this earth. And vessel. This glory is something to be harnessed.

It's something to be developed. It's not a mitochondria that exists without your

development. It's like you have the privilege to develop this glory. And oftentimes

we read of those that have developed the glory. I'm still developing the glory

within. I was losing it this morning. I was losing it because there's

a new anointing on Frank. And I don't know if you sensed it,

but there's a new anointing on Frank. And it broke me down and I

lost it and I was setting up here for you know, ten minutes,

just weeping over the glory on Frank. There's a new anoint thing on Frank.

And I think the anointing on Frank God on me. And I think

that's what Holy Spirit wants to do with us. Because the glory of your

spirit man is perceptible in the spirit realm, the glory of the spirit,

the glory of your spirit man, the glory that comes on your spirit man

is perceptible in the spirit realm. And we can discern and sence it in

one another and on one another and with one another. And if we aren't

there's the hardness that has to be broken if we aren't there's a distraction that

has to be broken, if we aren't perceiving it, if we aren't discerning

it. Supposed to be shaking hands. But I met Jason in the bathroom

one, two, three, four, five, six six rows back.

We just had a little conference back there to check the plumbing. It's all.

We were doing plumber in my former life. I wanted to make sure

it was fine. We were both undone. But he's six rows back.

But he was undone because he was perceiving something. His spirit was picking up

something in the spirit. And this is what Holy Spirit wants us to be

and to do, is he wants us to be spirit conscious. He wants

us to be spirit engaged in spirit conscious. What I do, what I

do? Bless you if I filled this with boogers, Oh, you'll be

embarrassed for me. We'll just send it here. Men aren't supposed to do

this year anyway? What are you trying to do to me? I was

trying to get to our text. Our text is Isaiah forty, but it's

also Malachi three, and it's you know, prepare, prepare the way of

the Lord. There's a greater glory. We're entering into a greater glory.

We're doing it right now. We're entering into a greater glory. And it's

God right up a standard against the darkness, and he's raising it up in

you. He's raising up in your spirit man. As you pay attention to

your spirit man, he's raising it up in you. Charles Fenny, looking

him up. Charles Fenny, one of our heroes of the faith. Probably

heard of him. Most of his ministry was in New York. He wrote

a lot of books and did some cool things, but hundreds of thousands of

people came to the Lord through Charles Finny, and it was just somewhat because

he carried the glory. Well, I think you know, we just don't.

I don't even know. And I wish I wish I knew. I

wish I could tell you. I wish I wish I could just line you

all up and impart something to you and just but I don't even know the

depth of his glory. Yet. We're still delving into the developing of our

spirit man, so that we begin to abide and flow in His glory as

we're supposed to. And it's not enough that we're born of the spirit,

when we can be filled with the spirit and have an outflowing of the spirit,

and we don't even know the depths of that, but it's a river

of living water. So wherever your spirit ministers through you without hindrance, living

water is dispensed. That's what we all want. So Charles Fenny I was

reading. I was reading. You know, I've got little books in my

library tucked away into stuff. You know, I've read years ago and I

didn't remember. It's called Power Were on High and it's his story of getting

baptized in the Holy Spirit, and you know, just all the things that

happened. I think Charles Fanny was an attorney. I can't remember, but

he became the catalyst of a great move of God on the East coast.

And this is, you know, one hundred years ago or something more than

maybe somewhere in there. But he was recounting one of the stories in there

that I had forgotten about. I'd even forgot that he told the story.

I thought somebody else told the story about him, but I'm sure that's true

too. But he was recounting the story of how he went into you know,

one of the cities to minister, and the dignitaries of the city invited

him to, like the premiere factory of the city. And so he went

to visit this premier factory of the city. And it was really more of

like a show and tell, you know, like a mayor would take you

to the Port of Tacoma to show you. You know, the Mayor of

Fife going to show you the port of Tacoma, the pride and joy.

And so he walks into this factory and as the gaze of his eyes comes

in contact with the employees at the machines, and I think it was a

textile factory or something. But as the gaze of his eyes comes in contact

with the employees at the machines, they begin to be touched by the glory

of God, and the love of God begins to overwhelm them, and they

begin to crumble at their machines. They just begin to lose it at their

machines, and one after another, as they see him and they just make

eye contact, the Holy Spirit is using the glory within him to pour over

them with love and with the very presence of glory. Like you know,

the word glory is kabad in the Hebrew and it means weight, right,

And so you begin to you just kind of get crushed under the weight of

His presence and the ministry of his nearness. And I was saying, as

I was saying a moment ago, if you're not getting crushed under his weight,

then you've got to crush something of you to get it out of the

way, so you can get into a place where you can get crushed under

the weight of His glory, so that your spiritman is moved to the forefront

of your consciousness to begin to be aware of your Spiritman in such a way

that you don't have these blockades in these fears and these distractions and these anxieties

that keep you from an openness before him. Anyway, it starts happening in

this factory. Within the next one hour period, every one of the factory

workers in that particular spot in the factory gave their lives to the Lord,

and the owner of the factory, who was an unbeliever, who had brought

them in a believer had made the way, so a believer had brought them

into the factory, but the with an unbeliever, and he too gave his

life to the Lord and they're all. They all were converted and touched and

filled with the Holy Spirit in that factory, and they ended up shutting down

the factory for several days, and everybody heard the gospel. And we haven't

seen or tasted or been touched by stuff like this, But it's what's available

to us. It's actually what's available to us as we develop our spiritman,

as we make room for our spiritman, as we bring our spiritman to the

predominance and the pre eminence of our life. And I believe this is you

know, this is what the Holy Spirit wants to say today. I read

to you the last two weeks I've read to you, Matthew six. I

want to read it again because again I believe the Holy Spirit is talking to

us, and that just means he's not done, or may say he's not

done. So he's just talking to us a little bit again about distraction.

But today he wants to frame it in the terminology of giving place to your

spirit man. The enemy knows that if he can distract your attention off of

your spirit man, your inner man. See, we are tripart beings.

You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a

body but your body is not you. Your body is not the fullness of

you. The body is not even life giving. The body is not life

giving. Your body is not the fullness of you. The body is just

your third dimensional expression. The real you is your spirit Man, and your

spirit Man is a life giving you, you that have been born of the

spirit. Your spirit Man is a life giving you, and it is the

essence of the real you. And when you come to the Lord. Frank

was leading us, those of us, all of us, cross this room.

Frank was leading us to accept the Lord, to open up our hearts

to the Lord. Believe upon him with your inner man, your heart all

the way to the core of you. Believe upon him, and then confess

that he is the Lord of your life with your mouth. He was leading

us into just coming into that fresh place with him. When we do that,

As we do that, our spirit Man comes alive. We become united

with the Holy Spirit, and there becomes no delineation of separation between your spirit

and Holy Spirit. Your spirit is energized and made alive with Holy Spirit,

and your spirit is now the dwelling place of home. Holy Spirit and Holy

Spirit now dwells in your spirit, and your Spirit is fully one with Holy

Spirit. But life and your history, and pressure and everything around you wants

all of your attention on your body realm, and on your emotion or your

soul realm. Everything is trying to distract you. The enemy's working hard to

distract you because he knows that the glory is not in your earth suit.

It's not in your body. It's handsome and amazing as it might be,

Ladies, as beautiful as your body might be, the glory is not in

your body. The glory's not in your soul. The glory is in your

inner man. It's in your spirit. Man. That's where the glory dwells.

That's where the glory erupts. That's where the glory comes forth. Holy

Spirit wants us to develop that crazy mitochondria on the inside. Matthew six twenty

eight. Why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the

field grow. They do not toil, nor did they spin. Yet I

say to you that not even Solomon and all his glory, clothed himself like

one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field,

which is alive today and tomorrow's thrown into the furnace, will he not much

more clothe you, you of little faith. Do not worry then, saying

what shall we eat, what shall we drink? What should we wear?

For clothing? For the gentiles, those that don't know Father, those that

are not born of the spirit, those that don't have a Daddy, those

that haven't been brought into the family of God. For the gentiles, eagerly

seek these things. For your heavenly Father knows you need all these things.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be

added to you. And I'm not saying, and I don't think the Holy

Spirit is saying, that you're running around spending all your time seeking these things.

But if we aren't careful, what happens is our mind is full of

things that pertain to those things. We're not mindful of the spirit man.

We're mindful of the earthy things and just And it's not that we're in sin,

it's just that we're drawn away. We're drawn away. And when we're

drawn away into all these things, then we're not harnessing, developing, releasing

our inner man because we're just drawn away. And one of the ways we

can do it is we can just we can put prayer in a box.

Put prayer in a prayer box. We can have this whole thing where we've

got the sacred and we've got the secular, we've got the religious expressions.

Put put church in a church box, put prayer in a prayer box.

Yeah, Pastor, I have my devotions, man, I've been doing You've

been talking about that. I've been doing it. I've been having devotions and

I've been I've been really getting in there. I've been getting up in the

morning. I've been just man, I've just yeah, I just I sink

the find a little room, or I got the garage going on. I

got my little boom box out there, this and that and the other thing.

Whatever boon box is. I know, that's how it is. That's

out, that's out. But it's not supposed to be a prayer box.

It's supposed to be a fire starter. Like you start the fire, but

you carry it all day. You light the embers, but you carry it

all day. But this is this is part of what the enemy would love

to have. A stews have prayer boxes. We have a you know,

we have a thirty minute session with the Lord in the morning, we have

an hour of the Lord, we have this, that and the other thing,

But then we're not mindful of him all of the rest of the day.

There's no more prayer, there's no more prayer in the spirit, there's

no more prayer to him, there's no more mindfulness, there's no more drawing

near to him. We're just we're just totally engaged in our secular world.

We're just totally engaged in our stuff. But you don't have to be that

way. We don't have to be that way. We can actually take the

fire of the Spirit into everything we do. We can we can fellowship with

him all throughout the day. We can be bringing stuff to him, we

can be asking him for help, we can be drawn nearer to him all

of the time. We don't have to be so distracted all of that distraction.

It's a choice. It's a choice because we think we're a human.

It's a choice because we think we're Our life is wrapped up in what we

do and what's around us. We were thinking that our life is wrapped up

in all of that, that's where fullness of life is. But that's not

where the fullness of life is. That's why if we bring the fire of

what life really is into our expressions. Now it's like something cool's going on,

because this is how we fulfill I think Matthew twenty two thirty seven is

Yeah, the greatest commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart,

with all your soul, with all your mind, with all your strength.

We don't just love him in our prayer box. We love him with

fellowship all day long. We love him with devotion all day long. We

love him by giving him glory all day long. We love him by deferring

to him all day long. And this is how we're led by the spirit,

right, I mean we're led by the spirit. I want to read

to you Galatians five, and I want you to think of something just as

we think about our spirit man. And there's some verses about the spirit man

that are very important. There's a whole bunch of them. They're important,

and for the sake of time, I'm not going to go into a bunch

of them. But first Grinton's two fourteen talking about your spirit man, because

you have a spirit man, says the natural man cannot or does not receive

the things of God. So this is interesting as long as we're naturally minded.

We're not even going to be receiving the things of the spirit because we

can't receive the things of the spirit because we're naturally minded. We're we actually

have all of these natural minded things going on, and it's keeping us from

even receiving the things of the spirit. Glatians five sixteen. So I say,

walk by the spirit or walk in the spirit, and you will not

gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to

the spirit, and the spirit contrary to the flesh, and they are in

conflict with one another, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Now, this is interesting because I want to bring up something out to

you. In Galatians five, and in Romans chapter eight, and in many

passages across the scripture, it's actually talking about your spirit man. Now,

your spirit man is in dwelt by the Holy Spirit. So yes, it's

talking about the Holy Spirit, but it's actually talking about your spirit man.

And when you look in the text, the S is not capitalized. There's

no capital to the S. The translators have added the S to give clarity

to what they thought the scripture was saying. But what you have to know

is in the Greek, in the original, the S is not capitalized,

And there's no real difference between your spirit and the Holy Spirit once you're energized

with the Holy Spirit, because now the Holy Spirit dwells in your spirit.

And Romans eight sixteen and seventeen says, he bears witness with your spirit.

In other words, he's talking in your spirit. He's testifying in your spirit.

He's wanting to lead you in your spirit. He's animated in your spirit.

He has a voice in your spirit. Your spirit is one with his

spirit. So if we take away the big s and we turn this to

the little s that it was in the beginning when the scripture was written,

it brings some illumination because a lot of times what we do is we see

the big s and we project it here on him. Are you hearing what

I'm saying? So I say this, walk by the Spirit. Oh,

walk by the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit's out here somewhere. I've got to

be perceptive to what he's saying and what he's doing. I've got to be

attentive to that and walk by the spirit. Okay, Holy Spirit. But

it's actually listen it actually says, walk by the spirit, the spirit within

you. Walk by your spirit. Don't walk according to your flesh. Don't

walk bring the spirit to domination. That's what Jesus. When we say Jesus

is Lord, where does he dwell? Jesus is the Lord through your spirit.

He's not dwelling in your finger. He's not dwelling in your foot,

He's not dwelling in one of your ears. He's dwelling in your spirit.

Man by the Holy Spirit. So when we say Jesus is Lord, we

mean that now your spirit man is Lord. Not your emotions, not what

you think, not what you wish, desire or will, not what you

want. Jesus is Lord means my spirit is now lord of my life.

I used to be led by the body and everything the body desired. I

used to be led by my emotions and everything my emotions were putting me through

and going through, and what they were thinking, and the distractions of my

emotions and the feelings of my emotions. But no, no longer am I

led by my emotions. No longer am I led by my body. I

am led by my spirit. And if I will be led by my spirit,

then then I'm losing the life of God within me, and this glory

is it's just it's part of the developing of the glory within. It's hard

for you to develop something for me to develop something that I'm not allowing to

be pre eminent. Like if I if I, if I make my body

pre eminent and I get to the club and I work on my body,

my body becomes stronger and it becomes whatever I make pre eminent. It becomes

more attractive, it becomes more powerful, it becomes right whatever I But Paul

says, bodily exercise actually doesn't profit, not compared to the spirit, because

it's not life giving. I can't give you the life of the profit of

my body. I can hug you, I can squeeze your hand harder,

but I can't impart something to you that will change you. I can't impart

love to you with a muscle. I can literally impart the glory of love

to you with my spirit man. But if my spirit man is not built

up, and it's emaciated, or it's atra feed because I'm not giving it

any attention, then I can't impart anything to you. This is the treasure

within, This is the treasure within Galician's five twenty two. But the fruit

of the spirit. I'm gonna take the s right there, everybody, take

the ass, make it small, the fruit of your spirit. See when

we make the s big, then oh yeah, that's the fruit of the

Holy Spirit. Yeah. Well, of course that's the fruit of the Holy

Spirit. Of course, that's what the Holy Spirit. He's always sowing those

seeds and the Holy Spirit, and that's his fruit. And when the Holy

spirit's near, of course, of course, of course that's a frue of

the Holy Spirit. No, no, it's the fruit of your spirit.

The fruit of your spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, meekness,

gentleness, self control, the fruit of your spirit. The fruit of

your spirit. Now, I can't say that outside this building. I can't

say that down at Chase Bank, I can't say that at Starbucks. I

can't say that to anybody. I can say that to you, the born

again you, the born of the spirit people are your spirit is now one

with Holy Spirit, the fruit of your spirit. So that means if these

things love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, meekness, self control,

and if those things are not coming out of you, that means you're

letting your body dominate you're letting your emotions dominate. You're letting something dominate that

is not meant to dominate because you're a tripart being and it's your spirit that's

supposed to dominate. So you're out of order, you're out of balance,

you're out of order, you're messed up because you're letting something other than your

your spirit, your spirit dominate. That makes sense. One more versus let's

stand. So if we don't make our spirit man the priority of life,

we will not bear fruit. We just won't bear fruit. Did you know

that this is what the enemy wants us to do? Like one John two

sixteen. He wants the enemy wants us drawn. I hate to talk about

the enemy all the time, but we have one. He wants us drawn

away into living as we once did, but forgiven. But we have eternal

life. That's religion. That's religion. That's religion. Religion is religion is

devoid of life changing relationship, but selfishly content because I'm going to heaven,

I go to church. I'm forgiven. Are you kidding me? We'll just

shoot you right now if that's all you think. If that's all you think

it's about. There's a few in the in the building packing guns today.

We can just take care of you now. If that's really all you want,

we can just take care of that right now. Just gets you to

heaven. No, you are made to bring Heaven to earth. He's coming

back not for a sick sorry, go to heaven church. He's coming back

for a glorious church without spot and wrinkle, a church that carries the glory.

That's what he's coming back for. So we're supposed to be this whole

thing about bringing Heaven to earth. He's got to bring heaven to you first.

You have to become a carrier of heaven. Then when a bunch of

us are carrying heaven, then Heaven comes to earth. But we got to

carry heaven and our spiritmen. So here's the enemy for all that's in the

world, all that the world can offer, the gratification of the flesh,

the allurement of the things of the world, and the obsession with status and

importance. None of these things come from the Father, but from the world.

And Jesus says, avoid those things. Avoid those things, run from

them, Run from them. Keep your attention focus on your inner man,

And though the world around you might be decaying and even your body. You

might experience some decay and now and then hello, somebody not planned on it

go lived to one hundred and twenty at least die on mountain Ebo with full

strength of eyeballs and muscles. Me and Moses, you and me will all

do it together. But what he's saying is, don't worry about the decay.

Don't get your eyes on the decay, because your inner man is renewed

day by day. Your real man, the real man in you, your

real person, actually has the potential to be renewed day by day. That's

in the Bible. That's second Brendan's four sixteen is that we don't fix our

eyes on the decay happening. We fix our eyes on the inner man,

the inner man, the real man, the spirit man of us. That

inner man is renewed. My strength is in my strength. My strength is

not in my clothing. My strength is not in my possessions. My strength

and none of that can impart life. My strength is in the development of

this inner man. In church, we cannot afford to be distracted. This

is the parable of the sower, the third soil. In the parable the

sower the third soil. They had faith, they fully believed, they had

faith, they fully believed. But then they let the cares of this life

distract them. They let worries distract them, they let anxiety distract them,

They let stuff around them distract them, and didn't bring their spiritmen to the

forefront of their life, to the priority of their life. They didn't harness

their spiritmen, and so they bore no fruit. Holy Spirit has fruit for

us. Heads bowed, eyes closed, all across this room. Just put

your hand that with me, if you would, Because I'm just as hungry

as you are. I'm just as needy as you are. I'm just as

desirous as you are. And the calling on us is just the same.

There's no different calling for a pastor or a minister, an apostle, a

prophet, evangelist. There's no different calling than there is for every one of

us. Every one of us have the same calling. That we carry fully

the glory of the Lord. We carry fully the glory of the Lord.

That we harness our inner man, that we give attention to our inner man,

that we stir up our inner man, that we lean into our inner

man, that we listen to our inner man, that we bring prominence to

the voice of our inner man, that we pray in the spirit and build

up our inner man. Pray in the spirit and build up our inner man,

Holy Spirit, right now to you, and we just bring ourselves to

you. We once again, once again, once again, we're drawn into

balance. We're drawn into a balance that doesn't feel like anybody else's balance.

Is a balance that puts you at the very top. It's a balance that

puts the lordship of Jesus at the top. It's a balance it's filled with

the fellowship of Heaven. We refuse to live in a prayer box. We

refuse to keep prayer in a box. We refuse to keep religion in a

box. We refuse to keep church in a box. We refuse to keep

our fellowship with Holy Spirit in a box. We say no religious boxes for

us, Holy Spirit. We run for you, We run after you.

We develop our inner man. We pay attention to our spirit within. We

say yes to all that resides in our spirit. Love and joy and peace

and patience, everything that resides in our spirit. Miracles reside in our spirit.

Signs and wonders reside in our spirit. These reside in our spirit.

They're not in some distant spirit. They're in our spirit. All of the

River of God. It resides in our spirit. It's not somewhere out there,

it's not in a revival somewhere. The glory of the supremacy of Jesus

resides in our spirit. And we say yes to developing. Say it with

me, Yes, say it with me, Yes, Yes I will.

I will develop my spirit man and bring my spirit man to pre eminence and

the predominance in Jesus' name. Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord. Let's

just do this too, Let's just say no. Say it with me.

No. I say no to the distractions of the flesh realm, the earth

realm that are harming vi e tempting, enticing, distracting, drawing me away.

I say no to it. I have a body, but I'm much

more than a body. I have a soul, but I'm much more than

a pile of emotions. I carry the glory of the Lord, and I

will make His glory the greatest thing about me. Love your search as worship
