  1. Well, folks, let me encourage you to grab a Bible if you have one,

  2. or maybe there's one round about you, and turn to the letter of 1 Timothy

  3. as we finish it this morning as a church.

  4. It's on page 1194 of your pew Bibles.

  5. So if you want to grab one of them, that would be fantastic.

  6. But why don't we just pray as we come to God's words today.

  7. Heavenly Father, it's our prayer that you would open our eyes

  8. to behold wondrous things in your law, in your word.

  9. Father, what we see not, would you help us see?

  10. What we have not, you would give us, and what we are not, you would make us.

  11. Father, we pray for your Holy Spirit's help now in Jesus' wonderful name.

  12. Amen.

  13. Well, 1 Timothy chapter 6, in it verse 11.

    1 Timothy 6 chapter mention

  14. As you're turning there, let me ask you,

  15. what is the biggest date that's coming up on the horizon of your life?

  16. Have a think about it.

  17. What's the biggest date that's coming up on the horizon of your life?

  18. Remember one of our girls, when she was coming up for her second birthday,

  19. every day the week before, she'd ask me,

  20. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, is it my birthday today?

  21. How many more days to my birthday?

  22. And I would say, it's five days, sweetheart.

  23. The next day, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, how many more days to my birthday?

  24. Four days, sweetheart.

  25. Next day, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, how many more days to my birthday?

  26. Three days to your birthday.

  27. And by the time we'd reached two days, it was fever pitch in our house.

  28. We could hear on the monitor her singing happy birthday to herself through the monitor.

  29. And after a while, we heard a pfft noise.

  30. Freaked us out for a little bit.

  31. Before a bit of investigation work, we realized she was practicing blowing out her candles.

  32. But we all do it, don't we?

  33. We orientate our lives around the biggest dates that are on the horizon of our lives, right?

  34. Moving house, big day.

  35. Big day.

  36. Starting a new term at school or uni.

  37. Big day.

  38. Beginning a new job.

  39. Big day.

  40. The day that you retire.

  41. Big day.

  42. The day that you get married.

  43. If you get married, big day.

  44. Those days that are in our minds and we think about them for ages a long way off.

  45. We cannot stop thinking about them.

  46. And they naturally shape how we live our lives in the present.

  47. And here's the thing that I think God would say to each one of us here today.

  48. Whether you would call yourself a Christian, whether you would say you don't believe in this Jesus.

  49. Whoever you are here today, here is the challenge that this passage makes to each and every one of us.

  50. Is that there's one day that's coming for all of us.

  51. One day that should be the biggest day on every single one of our radars.

  52. And the greatest day which all the other days in our lives fall behind.

  53. So we're going to read this passage now.

  54. And I want you to think about, I want you to see if you can spot the day that Paul, who's writing this letter,

  55. is telling Timothy to think about.

  56. So we're in at verse 11.

  57. We're just going to finish the letter this morning.

  58. And what a passage for Joe on his baptism day.

  59. That's why we picked it.

  60. I thought it would be really great to think about.

  61. So Paul writes this,

  62. But you, man of God, flee from all this and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

  63. Fight the good fight of the faith.

  64. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

  65. In the sight of God who gives life to everything and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,

  66. I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

  67. which God will bring about in his own time.

  68. God, the blessed and only ruler, the King of kings and the Lord and Lord of lords,

  69. who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light,

  70. whom no one has ever seen or can see,

  71. to him be honour and might forever.

  72. Amen.

  73. Command those who are rich in this present world,

  74. not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth,

  75. which is so uncertain,

  76. but to put their hope in God,

  77. who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

  78. Command them to do good,

  79. to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share.

  80. In this way,

  81. they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age,

  82. so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

  83. Timothy,

  84. guard what has been entrusted to your care.

  85. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge,

  86. which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith.

  87. Grace be with you all.

  88. Amen.

  89. I'm sure God will bless the reading of his word.

  90. So I wonder if you got the day.

  91. Did you get the day?

  92. Now here is,

  93. speak to anybody who's a Christian,

  94. and here is what they will tell you is true,

  95. that they have come to see.

  96. That the Bible,

  97. this is what they've come to see.

  98. The Bible is a story that makes sense of life.

  99. It's God's word.

  100. That's what we believe about the Bible.

  101. It's the word of the God who created everything.

  102. It's the story that makes sense of life,

  103. because it is the story of the God who is and who gives life.

  104. You see,

  105. the Bible tells the story of this gloriously good God who created the world.

  106. This God didn't create the world out of something.

  107. This God created the world out of nothing.

  108. The entire cosmos,

  109. the work of his loving and his powerful word.

  110. And as the pinnacle of creation,

  111. God made human beings.

  112. Every single human being,

  113. men and women,

  114. made in his image.

  115. And why did he make them?

  116. He made them to live in relationship with him

  117. as creature,

  118. loves and enjoys and worships the creator.

  119. It's the reason,

  120. whoever you are here today,

  121. it's the reason that God created you.

  122. It's the reason that you exist.

  123. You have been bestowed with honor and glory,

  124. because you are made in his image.

  125. No matter how you are feeling here today,

  126. that is true,

  127. the Bible says.

  128. And God gives Adam and Eve right there,

  129. the task of,

  130. of stewarding and cultivating and filling.

  131. The world which God had made all for his glory.

  132. As the Bible story goes on,

  133. Eve makes the decision to eat the apple,

  134. the fruit that God told Adam and Eve not to eat,

  135. to show their love for him.

  136. And sin enters the world.

  137. All of a sudden in the Bible story,

  138. you come across words like death,

  139. and strife,

  140. and anger,

  141. and murder.

  142. Words that weren't there in the opening two chapters

  143. of the Bible,

  144. because they weren't in the human heart.

  145. And whether it's BC or whether it's AD,

  146. we know that these words,

  147. sin and its ripple effects in each of our lives,

  148. in our world,

  149. these words describe our world,

  150. don't they?

  151. Because each of us have followed Adam and Eve's lead

  152. in rebelling against our creator.

  153. It's the essence of sin.

  154. Remember,

  155. growing up,

  156. this is how they taught us how to remember it.

  157. Our Sunday school teachers,

  158. sorry God,

  159. I'm in charge,

  160. no to your rules.

  161. It's the heart of it,

  162. isn't it?

  163. It's this rebellion that we have,

  164. that we don't want God,

  165. we want to be on the throne of our lives.

  166. But right there,

  167. as sin enters the Bible story,

  168. God makes a promise

  169. that he is going to act

  170. to save us from sin's eternal consequences,

  171. culminating in Jesus.

  172. Emmanuel,

  173. that name that just means God with us,

  174. his first appearing at Christmas time.

  175. We're going to start thinking about it.

  176. In fact,

  177. today's the first day of Advent,

  178. isn't it?

  179. Jesus came,

  180. Jesus lived,

  181. Jesus loved perfectly,

  182. Jesus died on the cross.

  183. He took the punishment that we deserve on himself,

  184. the eternal separation and punishment from God

  185. that we all deserve by very nature,

  186. and that hangs over us,

  187. out with Jesus.

  188. Jesus makes it his own,

  189. meaning that all those who put their faith in him

  190. can know forgiveness

  191. and the joy of being right with our creator.

  192. And on the third day,

  193. Jesus rises from the dead.

  194. Jesus ascends to heaven.

  195. That's where he is right now.

  196. What is he doing?

  197. He's not twiddling his thumbs,

  198. if I can put it like that reverently.

  199. What is he doing?

  200. He is praying for his people.

  201. No matter how you're doing today,

  202. if your faith is in him,

  203. he is right there in the place of all power,

  204. interceding for you,

  205. pleading your name,

  206. right there before God the Father.

  207. And the Holy Spirit descends,

  208. takes up residence in the hearts of believers,

  209. and ushers in this age of mission

  210. in which we are now living,

  211. the age in which we are commanded

  212. commanded by the power of the Spirit

  213. to take the message of the risen Jesus,

  214. who he is,

  215. what he's done,

  216. and what is coming,

  217. take that message to the ends of the earth

  218. so that every human being

  219. would have the opportunity

  220. to respond to who Jesus is

  221. and have life in his name.

  222. And so the last thing to happen in the story

  223. is that Jesus will return.

  224. And he will settle everyone's destinies

  225. according to how they have responded to him.

  226. Right at the end of the Bible story,

  227. he will destroy death.

  228. He will wipe away tears.

  229. He will usher in this new creation

  230. where he rules as king

  231. in God's kingdom of light.

  232. And everything we've seen

  233. in our news screens this week,

  234. and we're going to be praying for this tonight,

  235. particularly thinking about those

  236. who are trying to make dangerous crossings

  237. at the minute,

  238. those who are in our world

  239. who are suffering incredibly,

  240. this Jesus will usher in a kingdom

  241. where sin and death are no more.

  242. A place where, as Sam said to Frodo,

  243. a place where everything sad

  244. will come untrue.

  245. And that's the biggest day.

  246. Did you get it in the reading?

  247. That's the biggest day

  248. that God is telling us

  249. that every single one of us

  250. should be orientating our lives around.

  251. And it's the day that Paul,

  252. in this passage today,

  253. is telling Timothy,

  254. this young church leader in Ephesus,

  255. he's telling him to live in light of.

  256. What he calls verse 14,

  257. the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  258. You know, I don't know,

  259. this is what I was thinking about this week.

  260. What is Paul trying to do?

  261. Something I learned this week,

  262. I don't know if you've ever seen a horse race.

  263. Last time you saw a horse race.

  264. But if you have,

  265. you'll know what is common for jockeys to do

  266. is to put blinkers on the sides

  267. of the eyes of the horse.

  268. Never knew this was a thing

  269. until I looked it up this week.

  270. Blinkers, and they're called blinkers,

  271. blinkers on the side of the horse's eyes.

  272. What's the thinking behind it?

  273. The thinking behind it

  274. is they want to cut out everything

  275. that's going to distract the horse.

  276. And focus it solely on what's ahead.

  277. And I think that's exactly what Paul is doing here

  278. in this passage.

  279. Got to focus on what's ahead.

  280. And here's the challenge for all of us, I think.

  281. The challenge is,

  282. are we living in light of this king's return?

  283. Are we living our lives

  284. in the knowledge that Jesus one day is coming back?

  285. And so in the time we have remaining,

  286. this will just be 10 or so minutes,

  287. I just want this passage, God and his word,

  288. to ask us two questions about our lives.

  289. And here's the first question.

  290. The question is,

  291. are we pursuing the right things?

  292. Are we pursuing the right things?

  293. If you come with me to verse 11,

  294. Timothy is told, man of God,

  295. you are to flee from all this.

  296. Now, all this is the envy,

  297. the controversies,

  298. the malicious talk,

  299. the suspicions between people,

  300. the greediness,

  301. the discontent,

  302. all the stuff that Paul has listed just before

  303. at verse four.

  304. This is what's going on,

  305. the false teachers who are in Ephesus.

  306. This is the byproduct of their lives.

  307. This is what is happening.

  308. And Timothy has got to flee from all that.

  309. Not get caught up in it.

  310. He's not to fight fire with fire.

  311. I love that,

  312. that all this stuff's going on in the background.

  313. And Paul doesn't say,

  314. see if you,

  315. how about if there's a smear campaign going on

  316. in the church and in the city,

  317. how about you start your own little smear campaign

  318. to see if you can out them?

  319. He doesn't say that, does he?

  320. He's not to fight fire with fire.

  321. This is not how the kingdom of God works.

  322. This is not what it is to follow Jesus.

  323. The answer,

  324. the commission that Timothy has given

  325. to guard the truth,

  326. to stand for the truth of the gospel,

  327. to put this church back in order

  328. so that it is relationally working.

  329. The armor that Timothy has to put on,

  330. the weapons that he brings to the fight

  331. are righteousness

  332. and godliness

  333. and faith

  334. and love,

  335. endurance

  336. and gentleness.

  337. The way of the kingdom of God

  338. is the polar opposite

  339. to the way of the kingdom of the world.

  340. Do you see that?

  341. When was the last time you heard about

  342. someone going in to fight with gentleness?

  343. But that's exactly how it works

  344. in the kingdom of God.

  345. This is how grace works.

  346. And as we look at the list of these things,

  347. friends, we need to ask ourselves,

  348. are we pursuing

  349. these things?

  350. Are we growing

  351. in godliness?

  352. Are we pursuing

  353. endurance?

  354. Why does Timothy need to be told to endure?

  355. Because this is going to be tough

  356. and he's got to go the distance.

  357. Are we growing in these things?

  358. I had heard somebody recently say

  359. that the things from verse 4,

  360. the envy and strife,

  361. the malicious talk,

  362. they're the things

  363. that will make the news feeds

  364. on our phones,

  365. won't they?

  366. But we've got to understand

  367. that gentleness and godliness,

  368. those are the things

  369. that are going to pop up,

  370. if I can put it like this,

  371. on the news feed of heaven.

  372. Listen,

  373. this is the fruit of the spirit.

  374. You don't want to see more of it

  375. in your life?

  376. I find gentle people

  377. the most encouraging people

  378. to be around,

  379. people who just ooze

  380. Jesus.

  381. And it raises the question,

  382. doesn't it,

  383. how do we run after these things?

  384. How do you run after gentleness?

  385. How does that work?

  386. I presume that it works

  387. as you run after these things,

  388. as you pursue,

  389. as we pursue Jesus.

  390. Grow as we spend time

  391. each day in our Bibles,

  392. as we grow in the knowledge

  393. of who our God is,

  394. as we care about the truth,

  395. as we care and love one another,

  396. as we spend time in prayer.

  397. And we must understand

  398. there's a difference

  399. between legalism and discipline.

  400. Legalism,

  401. just doing these things

  402. because we want to put on the show,

  403. we think it's the right thing to do,

  404. but as of in and of themselves,

  405. they are the kind of end goal,

  406. if you like.

  407. But discipline says,

  408. I do these things

  409. because I want to get

  410. to know God more

  411. and who he is.

  412. And that's worth

  413. the best of my attention.

  414. See, there's a difference

  415. between legalism and discipline.

  416. Timothy is to run after these things.

  417. And so Paul says,

  418. fight the good fight of the faith,

  419. as in this is going to be hard.

  420. I love it that you never hear

  421. Jesus talking in the Gospels

  422. as if following him

  423. is going to be easy.

  424. And I remember recently,

  425. or was it an email I got?

  426. I can't remember.

  427. The email just said,

  428. super fast broadband

  429. coming to your area.

  430. And I thought,

  431. great, join the party.

  432. Let's go.

  433. It said on the email,

  434. it said,

  435. join the super fast revolution

  436. for as little as $15.99 a month.

  437. And that's a pretty good deal,

  438. $15.99 a month.

  439. And then you notice

  440. the little asterisk

  441. next to the $15.99,

  442. don't you?

  443. And you kind of follow

  444. the rabbit trail down

  445. where it goes,

  446. and you follow it down

  447. and it says,

  448. asterisk,

  449. in addition to the line rental

  450. of $15.99 a month.

  451. You think,

  452. all right,

  453. so it's not actually $15.99 a month.

  454. What I love about Jesus

  455. is that when he talks

  456. about what it is to follow him,

  457. there are no asterisks.

  458. He never hides the small print.

  459. He talks about the narrow way.

  460. He talks about denying self.

  461. He talks about taking up cross.

  462. He talks about his disciples

  463. being sent out like lambs

  464. in the midst of wolves.

  465. It's going to be hard

  466. to follow Jesus.

  467. But in the same way

  468. that Jesus made the good confession

  469. in front of Pontius Pilate,

  470. Timothy,

  471. this is going to be hard,

  472. but verse 15,

  473. you have got to fight

  474. the same fight of the faith

  475. because the,

  476. why did Jesus do that?

  477. What's the Bible say?

  478. For the glory that was set before him,

  479. he endured the cross.

  480. In other words,

  481. he had the eye on who God is

  482. and what was ahead of him.

  483. Timothy used to do exactly the same.

  484. And that's why,

  485. Joe,

  486. this is such a good passage

  487. for you this morning.

  488. O man of God,

  489. pursue the things

  490. of the kingdom of heaven.

  491. You know,

  492. Timothy is reminded,

  493. verse 12,

  494. of his public confession

  495. of his love for Jesus

  496. and his desire to follow him

  497. that he made

  498. in the sight of many witnesses.

  499. You read around it,

  500. it's just very likely

  501. that this would have just been

  502. his baptism

  503. that Paul's talking about here.

  504. The public confession

  505. that Timothy made.

  506. And it's as if Paul is saying

  507. that that love for Jesus,

  508. that desire to run hard after him

  509. that was so evident on that day,

  510. that came from your lips,

  511. that was so clear

  512. for everyone to see.

  513. Don't drop the pace

  514. as life goes on.

  515. Don't get distracted

  516. by all the things

  517. that come at you.

  518. Do you know what?

  519. My greatest fear in life

  520. is that I will just go cold

  521. in my love for Jesus.

  522. Just get bogged down

  523. by the cares and worries

  524. of just get distracted.

  525. And Paul says,

  526. keep your eye on what's ahead.

  527. Don't drop the pace,

  528. up the pace.

  529. Don't grow cold.

  530. Fan into flame

  531. your love for him

  532. and your desire to serve him.

  533. And take hold

  534. of the eternal life

  535. which is ahead of you

  536. in Christ Jesus.

  537. You know,

  538. I read a stat this week

  539. that we take hold

  540. of our phone

  541. something like 2,617 times.

  542. Have you ever done it?

  543. Great thing I tried

  544. to do this week

  545. was take a little post-it note

  546. and put it on the top

  547. of my phone

  548. covering the camera

  549. that just said eternal life.

  550. Every time I picked up my phone,

  551. take hold of the eternal life.

  552. Are we taking hold

  553. of the eternal life?

  554. That's what's ahead of us.

  555. Friends,

  556. are we pursuing

  557. the right things?

  558. And really quickly,

  559. secondly,

  560. are we investing

  561. in the right places?

  562. Because many in this church

  563. in Ephesus

  564. were being dazzled

  565. by money,

  566. just being distracted

  567. by it.

  568. And pay careful attention

  569. to the text.

  570. It's not having the money

  571. that's the issue.

  572. It's the hope

  573. that people are putting in it

  574. that's the issue.

  575. And Paul says so lovingly,

  576. you've got to love

  577. the people in your church family

  578. by helping them see

  579. that it's so uncertain.

  580. That's the word he uses,

  581. uncertain.

  582. I mean,

  583. know the truth of that,

  584. don't we?

  585. In our lives right now,

  586. energy companies

  587. disappearing overnight.

  588. Mine just went.

  589. Just went.

  590. Petrol prices

  591. going up and down.

  592. I remember the days

  593. when it was 80 pence

  594. to fill up your car.

  595. Now it's what,

  596. 142?

  597. I don't know what it is.

  598. Petrol prices up and down.

  599. Found myself walking

  600. along Princes Street

  601. the other day.

  602. Couldn't believe

  603. the number of stores

  604. which are boarded up.

  605. It's so uncertain.

  606. And that's what he's saying.

  607. To build your life on money,

  608. to put your hope in it,

  609. you've got to understand

  610. it is to build your life

  611. on a pack of cards.

  612. But what is God calling

  613. the Christian to know?

  614. That to build your life

  615. on God and who he is,

  616. is a firm foundation

  617. of your life.

  618. Firm foundation

  619. of your life.

  620. Okay,

  621. so many people,

  622. we did this this week,

  623. came to Friday night

  624. with those storms.

  625. We had to run out

  626. to the garden

  627. and pin the trampoline

  628. to the ground.

  629. Hold it down,

  630. firm foundation.

  631. And that's what he's saying.

  632. Is your life

  633. pinned on something

  634. that it's going to hold

  635. when the storms

  636. come against it?

  637. And he's saying,

  638. put your hope in God.

  639. And this God

  640. richly provides.

  641. And this God

  642. provides everything

  643. for our enjoyment.

  644. Do you see it?

  645. I take it that's a direct shot

  646. at the false teachers

  647. in Ephesus

  648. who are claiming otherwise.

  649. No, no, no.

  650. Paul is saying,

  651. this is no stingy God.

  652. He didn't create the world

  653. in black and white.

  654. He created it in color.

  655. He didn't create

  656. one type of flower

  657. or food or star.

  658. He created many

  659. because this is the God.

  660. He is the source

  661. of all true joy.

  662. And the call is to use

  663. what he has given us

  664. and invest it,

  665. verse 19,

  666. in the coming age.

  667. What does that mean?

  668. It just means invest it

  669. in the gospel.

  670. Invest it in the work

  671. of Jesus.

  672. And what would our

  673. bank balances show

  674. as the primary places

  675. where we're investing?

  676. What would our diaries say

  677. about the things

  678. that are most important

  679. to us?

  680. Think about it.

  681. Just what do you have?

  682. What has God entrusted

  683. to you?

  684. What opportunities

  685. are in front of you?

  686. Who can you serve?

  687. What can you do?

  688. Do you not long

  689. that Brunswick

  690. would be a community

  691. that's described here

  692. that would be rich

  693. in good deeds?

  694. That we'd be known

  695. in our community here

  696. as a people

  697. who are generous

  698. and willing to share.

  699. And that generosity

  700. just comes,

  701. doesn't it,

  702. from the heart

  703. of our generous God.

  704. Who he is,

  705. what he's done

  706. in sending his son

  707. for us.

  708. And so are we investing

  709. in the right places?

  710. And just as we come

  711. into land today,

  712. you know,

  713. I came across

  714. a discussion thread

  715. this week

  716. on Quora.com.

  717. And the question

  718. simply said,

  719. what are the best words

  720. that you've heard

  721. in life?

  722. What are the best words

  723. that you could hope

  724. to hear in life?

  725. The answer's from people,

  726. I'm sure you can understand them.

  727. I'm proud of you.

  728. You're hired.

  729. I love you.

  730. You can do it.

  731. Words full of meaning.

  732. Life is full of wonderful words,

  733. but I wonder

  734. what you would answer.

  735. In the Bible,

  736. for the Christian,

  737. Jesus has given us

  738. much greater words

  739. to live for.

  740. Much greater words

  741. to live for.

  742. We get them at the end

  743. of Matthew's Gospel.

  744. Jesus is telling this parable

  745. to his disciples,

  746. teaching them

  747. how they should live

  748. in light of his return.

  749. And he tells this parable

  750. about some servants

  751. and about how their master

  752. gave them stuff

  753. to invest

  754. while he went away

  755. on business.

  756. And he returns

  757. and he finds out

  758. that one servant

  759. has just squandered

  760. what his master

  761. has given him.

  762. He's hid it in a hole.

  763. He hasn't done anything

  764. with it.

  765. But the other two

  766. invest it really well.

  767. And when the master returns,

  768. they're greeted

  769. with those words,

  770. well done,

  771. good and faithful servant.

  772. Come and enter

  773. your master's joy.

  774. Who is the master?

  775. This God,

  776. the blessed and only ruler

  777. as he's described here,

  778. the King of kings,

  779. the Lord of lords,

  780. the God who is immortal,

  781. the God who dwells

  782. in unapproachable light,

  783. yet the God who in Jesus

  784. we can approach

  785. confidently

  786. and know him

  787. as Father.

  788. Jesus says to his disciples,

  789. those are the words

  790. I want you to live for.

  791. Well done,

  792. good and faithful servant.

  793. the best words

  794. on the biggest day.

  795. Folks,

  796. as we close,

  797. are we living

  798. our lives

  799. in light of Jesus'

  800. return?

  801. Let's pray,

  802. shall we?

  803. So Heavenly Father,

  804. I ask that your spirit

  805. would be at work

  806. amongst us now,

  807. Lord.

  808. Father,

  809. we long to be a people

  810. who live for your glory

  811. and I pray for those,

  812. Father,

  813. here today

  814. who perhaps don't know

  815. your son,

  816. the Lord Jesus.

  817. Oh Father,

  818. may today be the day

  819. when they put their trust

  820. and their faith

  821. in him

  822. as their saviour

  823. and their king.

  824. Father,

  825. thank you.

  826. Help us to be mindful

  827. of that day

  828. when Jesus will return.

  829. Father,

  830. may we live our lives

  831. in light of

  832. who he is.

  833. Help us

  834. have those words

  835. in our minds.

  836. Well done,

  837. good and faithful servant.

  838. Father,

  839. thank you that you love us

  840. and we pray these things

  841. in Jesus'

  842. worthy name.

  843. Amen.

  844. Amen.

  845. Amen.

  846. Amen.

  847. Amen.

  848. Amen.

  849. Amen.

  850. Amen.

  851. Amen.

  852. Amen.

  853. Amen.

  854. Amen.

  855. Amen.

  856. Amen.

  857. Amen.

  858. Amen.

  859. Amen.

  860. Amen.

  861. Amen.

  862. Amen.

  863. Amen.

  864. Amen.
