Yeah, I want to talk to you about the leadership call on every one
-
of your lives and just you know, the ministry call, the ministry call.
-
Every one of us in this room have a ministry call on our lives.
-
And as it was with David and paula years ago. You know,
-
David was were you working in a restaurant something like that over there? So
-
you know, David was led to the Lord and then came over here and
-
went to Bible College, and then he went to a liberal a liberal arts
-
college, and that was the beginning of the American dream and making money,
-
you know. But the voice of the Lord was on these two, and
-
the voice of the Lord was in and on David's heart. And sometimes we
-
don't recognize that the voice of the Lord is not calling us to sell everything
-
and go on the mission field or to plant a church, but the voice
-
of the Lord is calling us still to invest in other people with ministry.
-
And oftentimes the hindrance of us responding to the voice of the Lord, because
-
that's happening with every one of us that have given our lives to Jesus in
-
this room. Oftentimes the hindrance is that we just don't open our mouths,
-
and we could talk today about the reward of their suffering, because there is
-
a reward of investing in others. There's a reward in sacrifice. We tend
-
to put a lot of emphasis on sacrifice, but the emphasis of Heaven is
-
on the reward. And right now we could look and say, okay,
-
thirty you know, some odd years later they're thirty one years later, they're
-
walking in a lot of the reward now and it's the I believe God give
-
gift to all mens or of you all possess some kind of gift from God,
-
each one of us. We must discover and know that gift. And
-
then the word of God, said Roman, chapter eleven, verse twenty nine.
-
You know, God can take lives away, can give life, can
-
take everything that you have, God can take it away from you, even
-
the wealth, health, anything, God can take it away. But there's
-
only this two things that God cannot take it away from. You give and
-
the calling of God that Romans, chapter eleven, verse twenty nine. So
-
use that gift, shine that gift and bless people around you, and that
-
bless those who need it. Yeah, and it all starts by opening your
-
mouth. Everything God wants to do through you and the reward of your investment
-
in others. It starts just by opening your mouth. You know, the
-
Bible says, don't despise the day of a small beginning, and the smallest
-
beginning is just to open your mouth this week. If you would just open
-
your mouth, if you would stewart your mouth, you would be stewarting the
-
river of God in you. Because the river of God in you can't come
-
out of you if you won't open your mouth. But when you open your
-
mouth, the river of God can be loosed through you out of your belly.
-
John seven thirty eight, out of your belly will flow plural, not
-
just a river, but rivers of living water. This he spoke concerning the
-
Holy Spirit. You are a receiver of the Holy Spirit. This is for
-
every born again believer. You're a receiver of the Holy Spirit. He wants
-
to bring out of you rivers of living water, Rivers that quench the thirst
-
of others, rivers that satisfy, rivers that hydrate, rivers that quicken and
-
build up, that feed and nourish. But it starts by opening your mouth.
-
You just got to open your mouth. And we choose every day to
-
either open our mouth or keep our mouths shut. But the future, the
-
future of your investment in others as it was for them, It just starts
-
with that simple act of opening your mouth, because, like David saying,
-
you've already received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Many have discovered, many
-
psychologists, many authors, many counselors, many insecular and in the sacred studies
-
have discs covered. The greatest hindrance to all leadership, the activation of all
-
risk taking and all leadership, is the fear of public speaking, the fear
-
of not opening our mouth, the fear of just not expressing ourselves in a
-
small or a greater circle of people that fear the fear of public speaking.
-
And yet the Bible says, open your mouth wide and I will fill it.
-
Open your mouth wide, Psalm eighty one to ten. I am the
-
Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt. He's saying that it's over
-
the children of Israel. Open wide your mouth, and eye will fill it.
-
Anybody ever think too much, anybody in the room ever think too much,
-
You ever think too much? Jesus is what Jesus said over the disciples
-
who became the apostles. Jesus said that in the hour of pressure, trouble,
-
persecution, or opportunity, do not even worry about what you will say,
-
because the Holy Spirit will give you what you should say. So don't
-
even worry about it. Don't even think too much. Don't even think too
-
much about what you should say. Why, because Holy Spirit dwelling in you
-
is a better proclaimer, teacher, counselor enlightener, coach and help that you
-
could think yourself into in an hour or two or three of fussing' and steuben
-
and worrying. Just open your mouth wide and he will fill it. Come
-
on. Sometimes we think too much. Sometimes we think too much, and
-
sometimes what happens is our thinking gets in the way of a Holy Spirit activation.
-
So instead of coming out of us what should have come out because we
-
relied on him, what comes out of us is a lot of thinking,
-
dead thinking. You ever had dead thinking come out of you, it's because
-
we aren't relying fully on the Holy Spirit. He wants to activate ministry through
-
you. He wants to activate the touch of people through you. He wants
-
to activate the leadership gift on you. He wants to activate the bringing up
-
of what he's entrusted you in and with and so many times it just starts
-
by opening our mouth. Let's stand this morning, Peter fourteen. Each of
-
you has received a gift, to use it to serve one another as good
-
stewards of God's grace. New International, each of you should use whatever gift
-
you've received to serve one another as faithful stewarts of God's grace. Each of
-
us have received the outpouring of the spirit. Each of us have received the
-
grace of God. Each of us received, as it says in John thirty
-
eight, whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, rivers of
-
living water will flow from their innermost being. Now, I bet, just
-
as I'm saying this this morning, you're doubting yourself already. You're listening and
-
doubting yourself. You're listening and wondering, what in the world is he talking
-
about? Come on, somebody, I know already, just as I'm talking
-
about this, there's all sorts of emotions or thoughts or contradictions or fears that
-
want to keep you limited, keep you compressed, keep you constricted, keep
-
you quiet, keep you devaluing yourself and thinking that who in the world wants
-
to hear from you. I mean, this is one of the greatest,
-
one of the greatest shifts that ever was meant for God's people from the Moses
-
pattern to the New Testament pattern, was that it's no longer about the Tabernacle
-
and Moses. It's about the Tabernacle and the Spirit of God within. Frank
-
tried to talk about it during communion. You've become the temple of the Holy
-
Spirit, and you, every one of you, have to stop doubting the
-
power and the grace that's in you. Most of the time when we talk
-
about that, we're talking about doubting God's word, and we're talking about doubting
-
and this and that, and then doubting the word of God and doubting this
-
and you know, and it's usually a God word doubt. But I'm exhorting
-
you right now stop doubting the Spirit of God who dwells in you. Quench
-
those fears. I'm gonna ask the prayer team to come. We're going to
-
close again with prayer this morning. Maybe you're here giving your life to the
-
Lord this morning. Maybe you're recommitting your life to him, Maybe you're renewing
-
your walk with him. Maybe there's something going on, and you feel the
-
tug of the Holy Spirit on your heart this morning, and that's been happening,
-
and I want you to seal that before we leave this morning. I
-
want you to seal that decision that you've made to follow God, to restore
-
your walk with God, to have a walk with Him. But others of
-
us this morning, we know Him, we know we're walking with him.
-
We know we're forgiven, we know we're born of the Spirit. But we've
-
got to conquer some fears that keep holding us back. There are fears that
-
keep holding us back. And if that's you, I want you to come
-
this morning, and I want you to be prayed for. And I want
-
that fear and even that self doubt, I want it to be quenched,
-
and I want you to say no to it. And I'm just exhorting you
-
this morning in the Lord, in love and in the Lord, that she
-
would no longer listen to the voice of fear, that you would no longer
-
listen to those self accusing voices, that you would no longer be suppressed and
-
oppressed and constricted and quiet, because you have a river in you, You
-
have rivers in you, You have birds of living water, the temple.
-
You've become the temple of the Living God. And now the Living God wants
-
you to distribute life through you. Would you do it this morning? Heads
-
bowed and eyes closed, just for a moment, hands raised up all across
-
this auditorium, Holy Spirit, right now we welcome you to loose us.
-
We welcome you right now to come with liberty. As we close this morning,
-
Holy Spirit, we welcome you to come and quicken the life giving call
-
of the Spirit within us. We're all called into greater realms of ministry.
-
We're all crawled into greater realms of ministry expression, and we carry the rivers
-
of living water within us. And so Holy Spirit, come and loose the
-
living water. Let there be a loosing of our tongue, a loosing of
-
our tongue. All across this over auditory this morning in Jesus' name, and
-
everybody said, come forward, Church, be prayed for, be ministered to
-
come into a liberty this morning. Welcome a new liberty over your heart,
-
over your tongue, over your voice, over all that Jesus would do through
-
you this morning. As we close,
