Father, we just bless you, and we open our hearts to the word
-
right now. We love your word, we love your voice, we love
-
we just love every aspect of you and all that you have for us.
-
We welcome you to come right now and just right on our hearts, right
-
on our hearts, wash us with the water of the word. We ask
-
in Jesus' name. Everybody said, Amen, I want to talk to you
-
about the goodness of God, and because I think that's what he wants to
-
talk to you about, and I think it's to work more assurance within you.
-
I think that that Father wants you to have so much assurance in you
-
about His goodness toward you, that you can overcome every challenge and that you
-
can defend yourself against all seduction, seduction of fear, seduction of self effort,
-
seduction of distrust. You know, I just believe that about what he
-
has. So I want to start though, just talking about this thing about
-
Heaven on earth. So we know that this is the maybe a central point
-
to the Lord's prayer, and we talk about it a lot here. It's
-
one of our themes, you know, And so it's out of Matthew six
-
' nine through eleven, the Lord's prayer right, and it's the disciples saying
-
how should we pray? Just how to pray? John taught his disciples how
-
to pray. We would love it if you would teach us how to pray.
-
And so that's, you know, that's this prayer. So then he
-
says, our father, who aren't in heaven hell, it would be thy
-
name, thy Kingdom, Come, Thy will be done. And it's actually,
-
it's interesting, you know, our language doesn't do this very fair,
-
and that's how we can get deceived because in our language, actually our language
-
sounds like it's more of a petitionary prayer. But in the Greek or the
-
Aramaic, in what he spoke, it's actually more of a declarative prayer.
-
So I don't know if you've heard that before. I've been taught that,
-
but that was something that Larry Lee brought out for years when he taught on
-
prayer all across the nation and the nations. It's actually come, thy Kingdom,
-
be done, thy will. It's more of a prophecy than it is
-
a petition. It's more of a declaration because whatever you lose will be loosed
-
if you lose what he's loosed, and in the Christ he was losing God's
-
kingdom, which is not only God's kingdom, but it's the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
He was releasing it on the earth. That's what he came to do.
-
He came to release his kingdom on the earth. And it wasn't just
-
the Kingdom of God. We know it's synonymous with the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
You often hear me talk about that, but I'll talk about it a little
-
bit more again because you have to see that it's very important that you see
-
the two or one that the Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Heaven,
-
and Heaven represented something significant because and visually to them as they would have heard
-
it, they would have understood as well that Eden was an expression of Heaven.
-
So essentially everything that was lost in Eden, which was a replica of
-
Heaven. Now, Jesus was saying, you are to proclaim that it come.
-
You are, and this is what will please Father, is that you
-
pray this way, that you say this way, that you speak this way,
-
that you come into agreement that this is what's happening. Now. Because
-
of the way that we have it in the English and because of bad theology,
-
and we say bad theology. Of course, anything that isn't Duyne's theology
-
is bad theology. So you know that to be true. Well, you
-
you're part of my church, so you must believe something that's going on here.
-
If you didn't, you should get out of here. So because of
-
and there is a such thing as bad theology, is there not? All
-
right? Good, thank you for saying that. So because of bad theology,
-
some people see that what Jesus was saying in the Lord's Prayer is actually
-
looking down the timeline to the second Advent advent. I'm not talking about the
-
Seven day Adventists, I'm not talking about a church. Advent means his coming.
-
There was the first coming. That means that's advent. Everybody's advent.
-
There was the first coming, and then there is a there is a second
-
advent, there is a second coming. Right, So some reading that this
-
is a sideline, this is a French fry. I'm just thrown out at
-
you. You know, we like to dip our friends fries and ice cream.
-
So this is this is it's good. You should try it. A
-
little salt down the little salt French Fryan ice cream. It's good. So
-
so some people reading that text Matthew six nine through eleven, they see it
-
as a prayer for the second coming, Thy Kingdom come, I will someday
-
be done honor as it is in heaven, someday in the sweet by and
-
by someday when he finally comes back. So that's how some people see that.
-
We know that's wrong. As new horizonates, everybody say that's wrong,
-
bad theology, say that with me bad. That isn't what Jesus was saying.
-
He came to lose the kingdom of heaven. He came to bring the
-
kingdom of heaven. He came to empower us in the Kingdom of heaven.
-
So what's crazy about that is that you know that became and has become like
-
a core text on prayer, and that core text on prayer was something that
-
the nations would have never been able to pray. But he says, this
-
is how how you should pray. This is God's will that you pray this,
-
and this is what God wants to accomplish. Now we know in Deuteronomy
-
thirty two. We know in Deuteronomy thirty two, and it's around verse eight,
-
and I don't have it here, but this is where God divided the
-
nations, and this is where the seventy nations were, the etymology of the
-
seventy nations. And this is around the time of the Tower of Babel.
-
And we know that God only reserved one nation for himself. Who is that
-
nation? So that nation that He reserved for himself Deuteronomy thirty two to eight.
-
God divided the nations, separated the sons of Adam, set boundaries for
-
the people. God put each person within those boundaries and under the care of
-
divine or Elohim, not divine as in spiritually divine, but Elohim, sons
-
of God. And he divided up the number based on the number of angels,
-
or according to the number of the sons or these Elohim of God.
-
And so this is where the seventy nations come right. We know that sixty
-
nine of those their hearts were turned against God, and so he turned them
-
over to unclean Elohim. Only one nation did he saved for himself, and
-
that nation they were then called. God was working with them, even though
-
they were banished from Eden. God in his heart toward them, was working
-
with them that they would be the one nation on the earth, not only
-
through whom the Messiah would come, so that all would be blessed. God
-
actually prophesied. Galicians III says that God propheside the salvation of the nations when
-
he spoke over Abraham and said, through you, all the nations will be
-
blessed. And so God, now through this one nation he sanctifies them,
-
and he allows them to taste of Eden, to taste of heaven through their
-
journey until the Christ would come. Right, so we see that the picture
-
of that in the land of Goshen, We see the picture of that in
-
the land given to Abram. We see that in the land called the Promise
-
Land. So all the way through there's pictures reoccurring pictures of God blessing Israel
-
with abundance and goodness. Right, and though their righteousness was by faith,
-
He gave them ordinances that they would follow. And he told them that if
-
they would follow those ordinances, that they would be the head and not the
-
tail above and not beneath, that they would lend and not borrow, that
-
they would be blessed going out and blessed coming in. All of that was
-
what all of that was the foretaste of heaven. All of that was a
-
foretaste although it. Now he's declaring that every nation can pray, and this
-
would be the first that every nation could pray that. And as far as
-
we know in this room, every one of you have come out of gentile
-
nations, as far as we know. If your Hebrew, come and tell
-
me if you're part of the ten lost tribes, or if you're part of
-
the two that aren't lost, come and tell me afterwards, and we'll check
-
out your Hebrew. But as far as we know, for the most part,
-
most of us had come out of the other nations, nations that were
-
ruled by darkness. All of our nations were ruled by darkness. All of
-
our nations were pagan, All of our nations were heathens. All of our
-
nations were unclean. All of our nations were caught up in war and destruction.
-
All of our nations were not We did not taste of heaven on earth.
-
But now he says, pray this way. And when he said pray
-
this way, remember what he said is loose this with your tongue. Come
-
into agreement with God that this is what he wants to do. Heaven come.
-
Will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven. Now,
-
we know some things about heaven, right, we know some things about
-
heaven. We know there's no sickness in heaven. We know there's no disease
-
in heaven. We know there's no I was going to say, there's no
-
death in heaven. There's no premature death in heaven either. There's no crying
-
in heaven. There's no mourning in heaven. There's no weeping in heaven.
-
There's no sorrow in heaven. There's no poverty in heaven. There's no lack
-
in heaven. There's no discouragement in heaven. There's no fear in heaven.
-
There's no turmoil in heaven. There's no chaos in heaven. There's no negativity
-
in heaven. There's no depression in heaven. There's no rejection in heaven,
-
no abandonment in heaven, no bitterness in heaven, no animosity in heaven,
-
no wars in heaven. This is what He's ordained for every single person that
-
now comes to him through Christ. That's why it's called good news. And
-
this is what they were preaching. The word that they went out, they
-
went and preached the gospel. What they were preaching isn't even recorded all the
-
time. It's just encapsulated in the message called the Gospel. What we see
-
continuously in the writer's expression is that they were to preach the Gospel, which
-
is everything I just told you. It's the Gospel of it's the good News
-
of the Kingdom of Heaven. And that means it's the good news of the
-
Kingdom of Heaven on earth. How do I know that? Well? I
-
know it because of the text. I know by all these texts. I
-
know it by Matthew sixteen nineteen. Behold, I give you the keys to
-
the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. And whatever you bind will be bound,
-
and whatever you loose will be loosed. He gave them the keys to free
-
heaven. Right. So, and much of that was just like we didn't
-
we don't. We don't hear every sermon that Jesus preached. We don't hear
-
every sermon that Paul preached. We don't hear every sermon. The whole sermons
-
aren't written down. The encapsulation of the message is called the Gospel, and
-
the gospels called the good News of the Kingdom of Heaven. And so we're
-
supposed to understand. Oh, then what they proclaimed was Isaiah sixty one and
-
more. How do I know that well, because that's the first sermon,
-
the first sermon in Luke chapter four. Right, So Luke chapter four,
-
he's baptized in water. The dove descends, the voice of God comes out
-
the atmosphere. This is my beloved son and whom I'm well please. The
-
Holy Spirit descends on him, and he's baptized in the Holy Spirit with power,
-
though he's the son of God. There's a baptism of power, just
-
like we receive. So he had a two part thing going on. Everybody
-
say two part remember the two part thing. And that's how it works for
-
us. We become a son or a daughter. Then there's a baptism of
-
power. Upon the baptism of power came upon him though he was a son.
-
Then he goes into the wilderness. He's fasting for forty days. At
-
the end of the fast, he's hungry and he's thirsty. Then he's challenged
-
by the enemy. He overcomes the enemy, and then he comes out of
-
that experience in the power of the Spirit, and he comes out with the
-
message of the Gospel, the message of the good News. I'll read you
-
a verse in a minute. We'll actually get to the Bible. Then it
-
says that he went into the synagogue and he asks for the scroll of Isaiah.
-
So they hand him Isaiah and he opens it up to what is for
-
us chapter sixty one. But there weren't chapters in those days. But he
-
opens it up and he finds what is for us chapter sixty one, and
-
he starts to read it. Would you like to hear what he read?
-
Because this is the gospel. Everybody say gospel, this is the gospel,
-
this is the good news. Having me think the good news should be good,
-
Let's see if I can find it somewhere? Does anybody have it?
-
Does the stream have it? Where is it? What have I done with
-
myself? Where did the preacher go? Jesus? So here it is here?
-
It is here, it is verse eighteen. We have an overhead protector,
-
person halle Louish Verse eighteen. The spear of the Lord is upon me.
-
So he this is his first sermon, because he has anointed me to
-
preach, to proclaim good news to the poor. By the way, it's
-
the poor, It's not the poor jew. The fact is the Jews didn't
-
have a poverty problem. I love somebody this is his declaration of a liberation.
-
And what this actually is, by the way, Isaiah sixty one,
-
I don't know if we've realized this. I don't know. Maybe you already
-
realized this, maybe you've heard me saying before. But Isaiah's sixty one is
-
essentially his declaration of Leviticus chapter twenty five. This is his declaration of a
-
perpetual jew believe. So these particular listeners when they heard what he was saying,
-
they're like, oh, my goodness, he's quoting out of Levetica's chapter
-
twenty five. What in the world And they're trying to figure it out.
-
This is back. Isaiah declares it looking forward to the Messiah, to the
-
coming of the Christ. Now Christ grabs the scroll and he reads it,
-
and he's not looking forward. He's He's going to declare something. And this
-
is the gospel. It's the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, the Gospel
-
of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, and it comes with a perpetual jubilee.
-
Everybody said, ju believe, you can't even say that without like smiling.
-
Can you say jubilee without acting happy? Jubilie? Did you know some
-
Christian folks from People's Church. So I was the youth pastor of People's Church
-
for five and a half years. You know over there wrangle in one hundred
-
and twenty youth and you know one of our church members. They had a
-
hamburger shop in Tacoma called Hamburgers. You ever been there? Anybody ever been
-
the Jubilee Hamburgers over on thirty eighth there you go see there, Well that
-
that was Jubilee Hamburgers because they were rejoicing over every burger because they got the
-
jubilee. They had the perpetual jubilee because they were Christians. So they named
-
their burger shop Jubilee Hamburgers. I know, just a little trivia there for
-
you. The love grass fed beef. There you go, God bless you
-
get some more of that grass fed beef. So he grabs the scroll the
-
spear of the Lord's bond, because he's annoying me to proclaim good news to
-
the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery
-
of sight for the blind, to set view press free, to proclaim the
-
year of the Lord's favor. But he didn't mean, oh, this is
-
the year a d thirty three point five. That isn't what he meant.
-
What he meant was, I am declaring a perpetual jubilee over humankind, over
-
the earth, and over mankind, and it will be loosed through me.
-
That's what he was saying. And then he rolled up the scroll, gave
-
it back to the attendant, and sat down. And then the eyes of
-
all the people of the synagogue are intently directed at him. Imagine, you
-
know, like three or four hundred people like staring at the guy. I
-
don't know how many were there that day. And he began to say to
-
them, today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing. Everybody say today,
-
this is why we know that the Kingdom of Heaven didn't. It's not
-
something forward, not something in the future. Though there is a growth.
-
The Kingdom of Heaven is growing as Father subdues all of the enemies of the
-
Christ, as his promise three times in scripture, and he puts them under
-
his feet. There is a progressive victory over all of the enemies of the
-
Christ, as he is putting them all under his feet. Everybody say feet,
-
what part is the body of Christ? What part is the body of
-
Christ? Are you the head. No, you're actually the body the body.
-
You're not getting it. Are the feet a part of the body?
-
That was better? Okay, I just wasn't saying it right, That's all.
-
It was me. It was me, I was messing up. God
-
is putting all the enemies of Christ under the feet of Christ. You,
-
being the body of Christ, represent the feet of Christ. Therefore God is
-
putting all of the enemies. Now, everybody say the word all. Could
-
all include the curse? Could all include the curse? Could the curse be
-
included in all? When did that start? Is it something we're looking forward
-
to or is it something that already started? Today? This scripture is fulfilled
-
in your hearing. Did you know you will only part take of what you
-
believe you're entitled to partake of. Did you know there's for the most part,
-
no healing that takes place in churches where they believed that healing shouldn't take
-
place. Why do you think why do you think that there's virtually no healing
-
that takes place in churches where they believe that no healing should take place because
-
they don't believe for healing to take place, so they don't lose it in
-
their heart, and they don't lose it with their voice. They don't agree
-
with it, and so God is deactivated. The presence of God, the
-
spirit of God, the power of God is deactivated in those places. Though
-
they partake of salvation of the spirit, they don't partake of the blessing of
-
healing. Did you know? Very little God released blessings? Prosperity increase is
-
released in churches where they believe that God doesn't bless increase and prosper the people
-
of God. Why are they prospering? Because Jesus came and he loosed a
-
grace on the earth like no other, and they can partake of a level
-
of it through their self effort. But jubilee means you've been delivered from the
-
self effort. The picture of the jubilee, by the way, the picture
-
of the jubilee, this happened in Israel, and with Israel every fiftieth year,
-
everybody say fifty. And by the way, it was upon the celebration
-
of Jubilee, upon the celebration of the fiftieth year, which is Pentecost,
-
Penta meaning fifty, that the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the early church,
-
symbolizing not only the outpouring of power. But the outpouring of heaven it
-
was, and just the outpouring of power, it was the outpouring of heaven.
-
Oh that sounds way too secular for me. That sounds way too materialistic.
-
Oh really, well, God created a materialistic world for you to live
-
in and to enjoy. And I'm glad you put on clothes this morning because
-
the materialistic things are covering up a lot of stuff I didn't want to see
-
today. So thank God you have a little bit of materialism. I love
-
somebody, So you believe happened every fiftieth year. There were seven years of
-
seven, so seven seven seven celebrations all the way through on the seventieth seventh
-
seventh year. But on the seventh cycle through the next year was the fiftieth
-
year, and it was the year of Jubilee. Let me read to you
-
a little bit about the year of Jubilee. Okay? Is that all right?
-
Okay? So it was called the acceptable, the year of the Lord.
-
It was called the favorable year of the Lord. It was called the
-
year of the Lord's favor. The words you believe literally means the blast of
-
the horn. I gotta be honest with you, I played trumpet growing up,
-
and I prefer those over those other things. But the other things are
-
fine. Mine had valves and those others. See, we had to we
-
had to work on the ambrature of our lips to get the right tone out
-
of the horn. But when some of you below your horn, you haven't
-
you haven't perfected anything melodic, And so we just get this giant noise and
-
it sounds exciting to some, but it can hurt the ears to others.
-
I'm just saying, but it literally means the blast of the horn. The
-
fiftieth year, it's a time of celebration and rejoicing. The Ram's horn was
-
blown blown. The year of Jubilee was a release of indebtedness, a release
-
of all bondage. All prisoners and captives were set free, All slaves were
-
released, All debts were forgiven, all property was returned. Labor was deceased
-
for a year. Now, think about that. Labor was to cease,
-
self effort was to cease for a year. The land was to rest,
-
and the people were to rest for the entire fiftieth year. And God is
-
saying that Christ is the fullness of that picture, and that we enter into
-
a perpetual jubilee, where he is our source. He is our supply,
-
and we can literally drink liptin lemon flavored highly sweetened iced tea on a lounge
-
chair. I love somebody. This is how you should posture your heart,
-
by the way. That's not the way I posture my work, but the
-
way I posture my heart while I work has to be that He is my
-
provider. And it doesn't matter that interest rates for seven and a half percent.
-
It doesn't matter that gas is five dollars a gallon. It doesn't matter
-
what's going up, it doesn't matter what goes down. It doesn't matter what's
-
happening in life. This world is not my source. Self effort is not
-
my source. I've been delivered from the curse on the earth. I've been
-
delivered from the curse of the law, and I've been delivered into the Kingdom
-
of Heaven, where Heaven is my source. And it's not my source for
-
one year, it's my source perpetually. I'm a partaker of the abundance of
-
Heaven perpetually, so my heart can rest continually no matter what's happening around me.
-
This is the picture of Peter when Jesus says, Peter says, if
-
it's you bid me to come, and he says it's me, go ahead
-
and come. And it's the picture of the walk of faith to Jesus.
-
There's always a walk of faith to whatever he's called you to, whatever he's
-
put in your heart, whatever he's deposited within you, whatever vision he gave
-
you, whatever he's developing in you, that you, as long as your
-
eyes are on him, you literally can walk across the water circumstances that are
-
crazy waves going nuts, and you will never sink. It's impossible for you
-
to sink. You can only sink if you take your eyes off of Him
-
who called you, him who bid you come on the water of his word.
-
It doesn't matter what your taxes are. Quit complaining about taxes. It's
-
just overhead, and God has it covered. Everybody has to pay it across
-
the entire planet. Quit moaning and grown in like you're some special thing that
-
you have to be. God already knows all about your taxes, and he
-
has it covered. If you choose to believe that He has it covered,
-
just as he had it covered for the Lord who called a fish to bring
-
him a coin off the bottom of the sea to pay the taxes. God
-
also can make sure all of your taxes are paid because He has sent the
-
Sun to release the blessing of heaven in your life and over you. Fact
-
is, you should stop complaining about everything. You should never complain again as
-
long as you live. Stop complaining and live in the thanksgiving. Complaint only
-
turns you into complaint is being driven by fear, being driven by fear and
-
driven by comparison. Stop complaining and look to Him who is sufficient to you
-
for everything, who Romans eight thirty two, Him who gave you the kingdom,
-
Will he not also freely give you all things? Oh my goodness,
-
you don't need more complaining. You need more courage, more faith to believe
-
what is in this book, which is so incredibly beyond comparison that you've got
-
to pinch yourself to make sure you're still are. You've got to be kidding
-
me. You have got to look at the word more and realize you've got
-
to bring your heart into more conformity to faith because this gospel is too good
-
to believe. It's too good to be true. I haven't given you the
-
full delio yet, but I didn't even read my gospel verses, so disappointed
-
to myself teasing facetious speech. Listen to this, listen to this. Uh,
-
you know, most of the time in church we talk about we talk
-
about Galicians three thirteen that he bore the curse for us to deliver us from
-
the curse. And there it's the curse of the law. So he delivered
-
us from the curse of the law, which is Deuteronomy twenty eight. Deuteronomy
-
twenty eight has like sixty two verses. The first fifteen are all about the
-
blessings of the law, and then the last forty seven or something like that
-
are all about the curses of not keeping the law. And so Galatians three
-
thirteen, believe me, it's relevant, and it may be supremely relevant to
-
be delivered from the curse of the law. But also he's delivered as from
-
the curse that came upon Adam. And in Genesis three it says, curse
-
it is the ground because of you, through painful toil. You will eat
-
food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and
-
thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field by the
-
sweat of your brow. Now there's a lot of verses on the breakthrough of
-
the Lord for us, but I want you to hear a couple of them,
-
because the picture of redemption for us is not just the scope of the
-
law. And I think it had to be this way because the gentile nations
-
weren't under the law. But the scope of what God did for us is
-
to remove the curse that came upon first Atom, and Luke twenty two forty
-
four says, and being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his
-
sweat was like or became like drops of blood falling to the ground. Now,
-
I want you to go somewhere with me theologically, just for a thought.
-
What you saw in Genesis three that I just read to you was the
-
inheritance of Adam after the fall, separated from God. But it couldn't have
-
been the inherence of Jesus. The second Atom, who was one with the
-
Father, and who was righteous and under temptation, continued in righteousness. So
-
I want you to see something that until this day in the garden, in
-
a garden very similar to the garden that Adam was created in and then fell
-
in, in a garden one who had never ever had a drop of sweat,
-
began to sweat. And as he's in this garden, coming under the
-
burden of redeeming you and me, and redeeming not just one nation, but
-
every nation, every tribe, every tongue, every kindred people, delivering out
-
from Satan's hold, every person, he begins to feel the weight of the
-
curse, the curse of toil through which, only through which, by the
-
sweat of the brow, every person had been able to eat and partake of
-
sustenance. And the weight of that toil began to land on him in that
-
garden, and he felt the weight of the toil. Not just the weight
-
of our sin, not just the weight of our separation, not just the
-
weight of our immorality, or our perversion or our lives. He felt the
-
weight of our toil. And he began to sweat. And it says that
-
he began to sweat in a deeper and a more profuse way. And at
-
one point the sweat became so intense as it beat it up on his forehead
-
and dripped off of him, that it began to be mingled with blood.
-
And he's sweating now drops of blood. He's beginning to shed his blood to
-
redeem us out of toil. The early Church read that. The early Church
-
understood that. And I don't know if you knew it, but that's the
-
beginning of innovation, the beginning of innovation to deliver us from toil. Machines,
-
gears, wheels. They began to see that, and they begin to
-
offer prayers of Holy Spirit, show us how to be delivered out of to
-
will. It's not your will that we would be delivered of that we would
-
be under toil. It's not your will that we would sweat just to produce
-
Holy Spirit. Begin to show us. Do you know this morning I got
-
in this ridiculous machine with wheels, wheels upon wheels, and when I turned
-
the key, little fires started igniting, little fires. I was trying to
-
explain to Easton yesterday that an engine actually runs with fire. He's like,
-
what he turned seven today? Now there's fire exploding in all those little buckets
-
inside that motor, fire exploding. And then that controlled fire drove me here.
-
And I came twenty two minutes to church this morning with an air conditioning
-
machine on, and I didn't have one drop of sweat to get here.
-
Don't tell me God, isn't good. This would have never happened without Christ
-
coming and bearing up under our toil in the garden and made me move from
-
the garden to the cross. And something prophetic happened on the cross. Says
-
that they wove a crown of thorns. They wove a crown of thorns,
-
and they put it on him. They didn't know what they were doing,
-
but there was the prophetic move. There was something happening. God was using
-
their folly to accomplish something. See none of the nation's new royalty. None
-
of the nations understood royalty. None of the nations flourished in royalty. The
-
nations had been under struggle, war, hardship, sickness, disease, fever,
-
destruction, famine, poverty, manifestations of the curse we just read about
-
in Genesis three. He was crowned with the crown that was on the nations,
-
the crown of thorns and thistles. They placed it on him, that
-
the crown of royalty could be placed on you, that the crown of royalty
-
could be placed on the nations, that all of those who come to Jesus
-
could receive a crown of royalty. Our crown went on him that his crown
-
could come on us stand with me this morning. Now, I believe that
-
he's saying old this this morning to us because he wants us to have these
-
giant, generous hearts. It's the backdrop of this that Jesus declares, Matthew
-
six, take no thought for tomorrow. Father wants to clothe you better than
-
the lilies. He wants to clothe you better than Solomon in all of his
-
royalty. He wants to clothe you and feed you and take care of you
-
better than the birds of the air. He wants us to not fear.
-
Would you bow your heads with me this morning? Make us hord. Fear
-
will lie to us about our lives. Fear will make us anxious. Fear
-
will make us over work. Fear will make us rely on self effort.
-
Fear will paralyze your faith. Fear will paralyze your creativity. Fear will keep
-
you from generosity. Fear will keep you small and you're thinking. Fear will
-
limit what Father can do on your behalf. Fear is faith in the curse.
-
Fear will close your hand. Fear will make you anxious. Fear will
-
keep you from blowing your horn. Certainly, you'll not live in a perpetual
-
as you believe. Would you just start where you're at, just renouncing fear.
-
I just want to invite you to look over your own heart this morning,
-
wherever fear has gripped you, Wherever fear has limited you, wherever fear
-
has tormented you, wherever distrust of God, which is fear, Fear that
-
He's not good, Fear that he won't show you his goodness, Fear that
-
he'll withhold his hand from you, Fear that you don't qualify for his goodness,
-
Fear that the word can't really be true. Concerning Heaven's goodness, Heaven's
-
blessings, Heaven's kindness. While I'm talking, would you just renounce it right
-
now? Would you just say no to fear. Would you just treat it
-
like it's a person and confront it, and just say no, no to
-
fear. Every kind of fear We've renounced and resist every kind of fear.
-
Provision concerning treasure, concerning sustenance, concerning sufficiency, concerning the kindness of God,
-
concerning the mercies of God, concerning the treasuries of Heaven, concerning the
-
coming of Heaven on Earth, every kind of fear. This plague has held
-
us, confronted us, ward against us, sabotaged us. Every kind of
-
fear that's been spawned or propelled or strengthened or empowered against us, we renounce
-
right now. Just renounce it, Renounce it, Renounce it, renounce it,
-
renounce it. We're not called to live under fear. If you're watching
-
today by video, you're not called to live under fear. You're not called
-
to give any place to fear. You're called to live largs. You're called
-
to live and the grace of God. You're called to live in the goodness
-
of heaven. You're called to believe with your heart fully that this is what
-
God has for you. It has nothing to do with self effort. It
-
has nothing to do with stature. It has nothing to do with weight,
-
size, height, age, hair, follicles, glasses, no glasses,
-
history, sins, no sins. It has nothing to do with all of
-
that. God's abundance is poured out upon you. Should you believe with your
-
heart and confess with your mouth. He's given you the keys to the Kingdom
-
of Heaven, and he wants to pronounce and has pronounced that you believe over
-
you should you believe. Should you believe, and if you'll believe, and
-
if you'll agree, and if you'll confess, and if you'll partner with them,
-
it'll begin to happen. It'll begin to happen. And what will begin
-
to happen will be like Deuteronomy twenty eight. All the blessings will begin to
-
chase you down and overtake you. The blessings will chase you down and begin
-
to overtake you. And they'll be blessings beyond your self effort. They'll be
-
blessings beyond all of your labor, beyond your talent, beyond your skill,
-
beyond your looks, beyond your attraction, beyond anything about you. These blessings
-
will overtake you. So, Holy Spirit, we turn our heart toward your
-
goodness, and we say, yes, but let it be turned loose over
-
us. Let it be turned loose over us, that you might show us
-
off, that you might show us off, that you might show us off
-
in Jesus' name. And everybody said, and invite the prayer team to come
-
this morning, and as we yeah, God, the glory, to God
-
be the glory. It's too good to be true. It's too good to
-
be true, but it's true. Too good to be true, but it's
-
true. As we leave, if you have a prayer need, come,
-
There'll be a couple of people up here from the prayer team to pray with
-
you. You have a prayer need, if there's anything that you've left off,
-
anything that this has touched upon in your own life, any fear that
-
needs to be addressed or confronted, come receive prayer this morning as we leave
-
in worship, God bless you.
