How are we doing God? I can tell you're happy.
-
Prayer the Lord. Let's stand and prayer over the word. Amen.
-
See if I can get us into this holy spirit.
-
You're good. We just make room for you right now.
-
Thank you for your word. Let your word touch our hearts.
-
Let every person be lifted into higher thoughts, higher realms
-
of understanding. Thank you for it. Come on, just say
-
it with me. I leave the low behind. Say it again.
-
I leave the low behind, the mundane, the week, the unproductive.
-
I leave it behind in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen, you
-
may be seated. So Colaussians one. I want to start
-
at the end. So who's back there helping me? Johnny?
-
Is that you? All right? So I want to start
-
at the end. I start at the beginning, So we'll
-
start at the end. Colossians one, fifteen through twenty. The
-
sun is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
-
over all creation. For in him all things were created.
-
Everybody say all things. All things were created, things in
-
heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, Whether thrones or powers,
-
or rulers or authorities, all things. Everybody say, all things,
-
all things have been created through him and for him.
-
He is before all things. In mm all things hold together.
-
That's crazy. He is before all things, and in him
-
all things hold together. Not amazing. And he is the
-
head of the body of the church. In other words,
-
if it's not in him, it's going to fall apart.
-
If it's not in him, it's going to fly apart. Right.
-
If it's not in him, it's not going to last.
-
If it's not in him, it's going to create turmoil.
-
Right in him, all things hold together. He is the
-
head of the body the church. This is like, this
-
is an addendum. He's throwing this on. And he is
-
the head of the body the Church. He is the
-
beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that
-
in everything he might have supremacy. For God was pleased
-
to have all of his fullness swell in him, how
-
much all of his fullness well in him and through him,
-
to reconcile to himself. That's to buy back, to bring back,
-
to heal, to mend what was broken, to reconcile all
-
things to himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven,
-
making peace through his blood shed on the cross. We
-
want to read one more verse. Let's go over to
-
second Trinthians ten three through five. This is not the
-
end of my verses, but trying to go somewhere. Sec.
-
Trinthians ten, ten three through five. You know it, maybe
-
here as kind of a warfare passage Trent. For though
-
we live in the world, we do not wage war
-
as the world does. The weapons we fight with are
-
not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they
-
have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and
-
every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Now,
-
the Bible says that as the kingdom grows, the knowledge
-
of the Lord and the knowledge of his glory will
-
cover the earth. You ever driven behind a Sherwin Williams truck,
-
No anybody ever used Sherman Williams paint. They have a
-
high opinion of their paint. If you want to pay
-
one hundred dollars a gallon by Sherman Williams faint, you
-
better get at the contractor's discount. That's all I can say. So, yeah, so,
-
I don't know how some Peter that I know, I
-
don't know who it is, might have been Steve if
-
he's in the building. Thing. You know, love Sherwin Williams faint. Well,
-
I was frustrated with my raw to paint, so okay,
-
I'll try some of that stuff. Right, they had some
-
products I wanted, so I started paying attention to Sherwin
-
Williams paint. I never paid it tension to shore everyone
-
William's faint before. But I started seeing Shrewan Williams trucks, right,
-
And they have a globe and above the globe is
-
the can of paint, and the pan of paint is
-
dumping paint over the globe. And it says cover the earth.
-
That's the glory of God. The glory of God is
-
going to cover the earth, and the knowledge of his
-
glory is going to cover the earth. When before the rapture, Yeah,
-
did I say that? Yeah? Yeah, before the rapture, before
-
he wraps this thing up, He's going to cover the
-
earth with the knowledge of his glory. Yeah. I'm prettying
-
better than your suting. So I want you to see
-
this though, I want you to see this in a
-
different I want you to see some of this in
-
a different con Next, this says that our warfare is
-
to demolish strongholds. Now, the word arguments or strongholds. There
-
is each logismos in the Greek logic and reasoning, and
-
those strongholds are bulwarks. This is the Greek interlinear Bible.
-
Those strongholds are bulwarks of logic and reasoning. And then
-
it goes on to say every pretension or imagination, and
-
that is every high thing, every high thought lifted up
-
against the knowledge of God. And it says that our
-
warfare is to bring those into captivity and to make
-
them obey, or to bring them into obedience. Now this
-
is part of God reconciling all things to the sun.
-
So part of what He's reconciling. And I wanted to
-
I wanted you to see this picture of the seven
-
Mountains of influence. Here are the seven mountains of influence.
-
So this is globally over culture. And we we would
-
sometimes call them seven spheres, right, So seven mountains, seven
-
spheres of influence over culture. And this is this is
-
what Satan has been seeking to seize. And even when
-
he took Jesus up on a high place, as it's
-
recorded in Luke four and Matthew four, and he showed
-
him all the kingdoms of this world, I wouldn't be
-
surprised if part of what he showed him was his
-
dominion over the kingdoms of influence, over economy, over family,
-
over arts and entertainment, over religion, over government, over education,
-
over media. And he was ruling over them. And part
-
of why he was ruling over them is because he
-
controlled the narrative. He controlled the narraputive of how we
-
understand those mountains of influence and the narrative is like
-
the disciplines of study. And at our universities today we
-
have featured there the disciplines of study. We have sociology,
-
we have science, we have medicine, we have law, we
-
have all of these disciplines of study. Right we have history,
-
we have archaeology, we have literature, all of these disciplines
-
of study. And it's the perspective on the disciplines of
-
study that determines who will reign over the mountain of influence.
-
And what we've seen is that the enemy possessed authority
-
over these. But as the kingdom has grown, and as
-
the kingdom grew, what happened is that the word of
-
God and the works of God began to invade our
-
perspective on the disciplines and reshape the disciplines and to
-
reconcile the disciplines under God. And as the disciplines were
-
reconciled under God, we began to see science through the
-
lens of God, history through the lens of God, literature
-
through the lens of God, language through the lens of God, medicine,
-
as through the lens of God. As we began to
-
see these through the lens of God, then they begin
-
to be reclaimed, and the influence of righteousness began to
-
grow in each of the mountains. And this is even
-
how we've come to so much illumination and innovation. Is
-
that at one time the early Church was only to
-
study the Word of God, and the Word of God
-
was the parameter, and it became, almost, as it were,
-
the limitation on understanding. But then a revelation came to
-
the early Church fathers that not only were they to
-
study the Word of God, but God had disclosed himself
-
in the works of God, and that they also were
-
to discover God and find God in the works of God.
-
And if they would discover God in the works of
-
God and not only the Word of God, then they
-
could understand how to bring forth all that God desired
-
and What they were building toward was this, They were
-
building toward Heaven on earth. How many of you think
-
it's better to write in a chariot to church this
-
morning than to walk. How many of you would have
-
rather walked to church. How many of you might have
-
chosen the church closer to home if you had to walk.
-
You know, I'm talking about innovation and breakthroughs were released
-
in a powerful way in culture when they begin to
-
study not only the word of God but the works
-
of God, and they begin to marry the two together
-
and then thrust that study into the disciplines that feed
-
into the foundation of the seven spheres, of the seven
-
mountains of influence. Now God desires the same for us.
-
God God desires that the narrative of all of life
-
flows out of His word and out of his works,
-
and that we recognize Christ has come to reconcile everything
-
to himself. We don't have to be afraid of science.
-
God is reconciling science to himself through the Christ. We
-
don't have to be afraid of medicine. We don't have
-
to be afraid of economic principles. We don't have to
-
be afraid of sociology. We don't have to be afraid
-
of philosophy. We don't. There's nothing that we need to fear.
-
The fact is we need to immerse ourselves in the
-
disciplines because God is redeeming the disciplines, reconcile to himself,
-
that he might bring righteousness to the apex, to the
-
pinnacle of every mountain of culture. Now, this is part
-
of how the kingdom grows. This is if we immerse
-
ourselves in churchism only and in the religious mountain only,
-
and in they hear what I'm saying, then what happens
-
is we become shortsighted and the enemy is able to
-
reinvade and take ground back that he had to give
-
up because the growing emerging church stole it from him.
-
They didn't steal it from him just with deliverance. I
-
want you to hear what I'm saying. You don't steal
-
from the enemy that which he's possessed in terms of
-
leadership in the nations or in the influence of culture.
-
With deliverance only, with prayer meetings only, with worship services only.
-
We're gonna worship, but we're going to go out and
-
we're going to be involved in vehicles with combustion we're
-
gonna partake of things that comes from science. We're going
-
to need medication, we need good nutrition, we need education,
-
we're gonna deal with the philosophies of mankind. You're going
-
to leave this service and immerse yourself in all sorts
-
of things that aren't just prayer, worship and Bible. But
-
he's reconciled all those things to himself. But he's called
-
us also to be engaged. We're actually to be the
-
center point of the reconciliation. He's not reconciling those things
-
through the unbelieving, or through the wicked or the ungodly.
-
He reconciled those things through the righteous. And so this
-
was happening as the church grew. But now what's happening
-
kind of like a bad day in the stock market.
-
What's happening now is we're seeing some downturn, and we're
-
seeing downturn in terms of a macro view of our
-
place in history. We're seeing some of that downturn because
-
we've narrowed our focus. And as we've narrowed our focus
-
to church, churchism, salvation, evangelism, prayer, worship, personal devotions. And
-
part of this is we've actually even allowed the Evangelical
-
Church has actually narrowed its focus down to personal salvation.
-
Do you hear what I'm talking about? Do you hear
-
what I'm saying? This is the goal now, this is
-
the goal of the American Church or the Evangelical Church.
-
This is the goal because we don't believe in heaven
-
on earth. We actually believe that the promise of the
-
promised Land and heaven on earth is actually it's a metaphor,
-
it's a parable, it's a metaphor, it's actually a language
-
that means heaven. So the Evangelical Church has taken God's word,
-
the words of the Lord about the Kingdom of Heaven
-
and the Kingdom of God, which are synonymous in the
-
New Testament, and we've just transliterated that into our own doctrinal,
-
denominational translation and interpretation, and that is, Oh, he's talking
-
about heaven. So life's going to be bad. Life's going
-
to be terrible. But God's in charge, God's sovereign. I
-
guess he's going to work something out of this mess.
-
But thank the Lord, I've got a promised land. Thank
-
the Lord, I've got heaven. I've got the Kingdom of
-
Heaven and someday in the sweep by and bye all
-
fly away, Oh glory, you hear what I'm saying. And
-
so what happens in that mind and Satan knows this,
-
Satan knows all of this bad thinking, and what happens
-
in that is we become super focused on personal salvation.
-
So it really doesn't matter what we do with the
-
rest of our time or the rest of our lives.
-
I don't need to know anything about literature. I don't
-
need to know anything about history. I don't need to
-
know about archaeology. I don't need to know about science.
-
I don't need to know about medicine. I don't need
-
to know about nutrition. I don't need to know about
-
any of that kind of stuff. Give me and that
-
are television program There's a thousand channels. Let's see if
-
we can find one today that will bless me and
-
turn me on. Why Because we've made this about personal salvation,
-
not about the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. It's Heaven
-
on earth, and it's the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
-
It's not the Kingdom of Heaven to come. It's the
-
Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, the Kingdom of God, the
-
Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
-
You're not convinced until you get convinced we're going nowhere.
-
You got to get convinced that this is what God's ordained.
-
God has more for you than personal salvation. And this
-
is a trick, in a scheme of the demonic realm
-
to keep us from engaging with culture and to keep
-
us from building up one another being knit together a
-
holy habitation, wherein together we emanate His glory and build
-
for him a habitation of glory in the earth. He's
-
coming back for a glorious charch. The parallel, you know,
-
there's a great parallel, and we're supposed to learn from
-
this parallel. The parallel is the children of Israel going
-
into the Promised Land. And the Old Testament is this
-
intricate tapestry, absolutely beyond intricate tapestry of what we are
-
to be building toward and what we're to walk in
-
in the New Testament on this side of the And
-
I just want to go through just a few little
-
nuggets of this and then kind of, you know, get
-
to where we're going on this. But listen to me
-
as I can to describe it. They were promised a
-
land of milk and honey, gold, silver and precious stones,
-
a land like Eden. Now they were promised a literal land.
-
We are promised heaven on earth. They said, Lord, we've
-
been hanging out with you and watching you and spending
-
time with you, and we're watching John's disciples, and we
-
want you to teach us how to pray. How in
-
the world should we pray? What should we pray for? Right?
-
And he said, pray this way, Thy Kingdom, come right,
-
Thy will be done in heaven as it is in heaven.
-
What do you say on earth as it is in heaven.
-
This is the central This is the central focus. The
-
central focus of what Father has in mind is redeeming
-
the earth, redeeming the people of the earth, reconciling all
-
things to himself as it pertains to the earth and
-
the sons of men. So then secondly they were put
-
in bondage. They were promised this land of milk and honey.
-
But then they were put in bondage under a Satanic pharaoh.
-
So like the sons of Adam. Yeah, then they were
-
delivered out of Egypt, out of this clutch of the
-
pharaoh's hand. And these ten demon spirits that were the
-
principalities and the powers of Egypt. They were delivered out
-
of Egypt by the blood of a lamb. It was
-
the type of salvation. Then they were delivered from them,
-
reaching and pulling them back into bondage through the Red Sea,
-
which is a type of baptism where the enemy was
-
cut off from them. Then they wandered in the wilderness
-
until they matured in faith, which is a type of sanctification.
-
So even after we're even after we're baptized in water,
-
we mature in sanctification because now we understand and now
-
we have transpired over us a legal cutting off of
-
the demonic realm. So now we grow in our sanctification
-
like they matured in faith. Wondering in the wilderness. You're
-
going to wonder in your wilderness until you mature in sanctification.
-
Then they crossed over the Jordan to go into the
-
Promised Land, and the waters were stopped at a town
-
called Adam. It says the water's piled up at a
-
town called Adam. That was a type for us to know.
-
For them, it's what cleared the way for them to
-
go in to the Promised Land. For us, it's a
-
picture that the curse is cut off, The curse over
-
your life is cut off as you come through sanctification
-
and come into a fullness of faith. The curse of
-
your life is cut off so that you can go
-
in to heaven on earth. It's so that you can
-
go into your promised land. Well, you'll notice everything I'm saying.
-
I'm opening every single statement with they. Everybody say they.
-
You'll notice they did this together. You'll notice this wasn't
-
a personal walk. This was a corporate walk. This wasn't
-
a personal work. It was a corporate work. You'll notice
-
that they wondered in the wilderness until they all came
-
into faith. That's what it says. They wandered in the
-
wilderness until they all came into faith. And when they
-
went in to possess the promised land, there was none
-
feeble and none in unbelief. They all went in with faith.
-
It was a corporate and I want you to see this.
-
This is like the major focus I believe of Holy
-
Spirit today is that we go together, that we possess together,
-
we dispossess the enemy together. We are knit together. We
-
need each other. That you don't go in to your
-
promise land alone. And this is the big lie that
-
I believe Holy Spirit wants to pinpoint today that you
-
have a personal promise land that isn't interconnected to the body,
-
and that you should just focus on your personal salvation.
-
That is so shortsighted and it's unattainable. It's unattainable because
-
your victory is my victory, and my victory is your victory,
-
and your failure is my failure. And the entire kingdom
-
is moving forward as we move forward, not as I
-
move forward. They were to dispossess the enemies of God
-
in the land, which is the type of spiritual warfare
-
for us, dispossessing the demonic realm in our land. And
-
what that showed us is that God fights when we fight.
-
God fights for us when we fight. If we will
-
not fight, he won't fight. It's as easy as that.
-
Every time they went forward and fought with God, God
-
fought with them. Every time they went forward under the
-
command of the Lord, then the Lord was there with them.
-
It's totally a picture. And now remember their leader was Jesus.
-
Their leader was Joshua. Joshua is the Hebrew word for Jesus.
-
Jesus is the Greek of Joshua. Joshua was their leader.
-
This was a type of Matthew sixteen nineteen. Whatever you
-
bind will be bound. If you bind it, I'll see
-
tooth that it gets bound. Whatever you lose, they'll be loosed.
-
If you'll lose it, I'll see tooth that it gets loosed.
-
This was a type of that, because whenever they fought,
-
he fought for them. So they would just show up
-
with swords and he'd rain hailstones down. He had miracle
-
after miracle after miracle that gave them the victory. If
-
they would just show up for battle and do their part.
-
They had to do their part. And it's not all
-
it's not all cussing out devils. We have to do
-
our part. We have to turn off our televisions. We
-
have to turn off our movies. We need to stop
-
bragging to eat one another about how many movies we
-
watched this year. We need to start bragging about how
-
many books we've read. We need to start excelling again
-
as the early Church did, in the disciplines of study
-
that are the foundation stones of influence, because otherwise we're
-
just going to be a bunch of spirit filled born
-
again dumb Christians. I said it here, and you might
-
get somebody born again, but you won't be able to
-
have a conversation about philosophy or literature, or history, or science,
-
or nutrition or medicine, or the arts or music. You'll
-
be as dumb as the brick because you've had your
-
head in Comcast Exfinity one thousand channels into the movie
-
parlor ten times this year, and you're wasting your life
-
away when God's called you to be a partner with
-
Jesus in reconciling all things back to God. Not reconciling
-
the church back to God. Reconciling all things back to
-
God because in Him, in Him, they were created, and
-
they are created for His glory. Well they don't. I
-
wasn't done yet with the parable. They were not to
-
intermarry or compromise, and any evil they tolerated would become
-
thorns to them. As a type of how we are
-
to completely drive the enemy out, we aren't just supposed
-
to drive the enemy out of the church. We aren't
-
supposed to just on a microcosm or a microcosm drive
-
the enemy out of us. Part of us understanding what
-
God wants to do to bring heaven on earth. Is
-
that we're supposed to drive the lies, the distortions, the
-
perversions of thinking out of the disciplines of study. We're
-
supposed to bring higher truth, higher wisdom, higher thought to
-
the disciplines of study, and in that way drive the
-
enemy out. And anything we won't drive out, anything we tolerate,
-
anything we allow, anything we ignore, will become a thorn
-
to us and a thorn to our side. As it
-
was with them, and it spoiled the land for them,
-
It harmed their promise. It kept them from fully actualizing
-
and enjoying what they were promised in the Promised Land
-
because they whimped out and they didn't fully dispossess the
-
enemy in much of their regions and their territories. And
-
it's not that God was not willing or able, it's
-
just that they ceased from war were given an example
-
of something with them in Joshua seven. Right. Joshua seven,
-
I think gives us an insight into not only them
-
as the children of Israel and the twelve tribes, where
-
they were to fight for one another. Like even the tribes,
-
they would leave their territory if they were getting victories,
-
and they would run over to Benjamin's territory, or they
-
would run over to Asher's territory, or they would run
-
over to you know, one of the others, and they
-
would fight for one another. And we see this corporate,
-
this corporate thing happening even here in Joshua chapter seven.
-
Because Aiken held on to some of the devoted stuff,
-
one person sinned and it harmed their assent into the
-
fullness of their promised land. Their next battle was Ai,
-
and they went out to Ai, and they lost the battle.
-
They lost the battle at Aim. They lost the battle
-
because Aikin sent a held on to devoted stuff. The
-
whole corporate Israel suffered. Two million plus people suffered because
-
one person hung on to some devoted stuff. Hello, someboddy
-
and several people perished in the Battle of Ai. Several
-
people died because one guy hung on to some devoted
-
stuff and they had a fall. In the stock market, right,
-
Kingdom was going up looking real good boy, this promised
-
land stuff is tasting good boom bad day. Well, I
-
guess it's all over. I guess it's curtains. I guess
-
the anti crisis is coming. The raptures any moment. Gaes no, no, no,
-
that wasn't the end of the story. Find aken, straighten
-
him out, and let's move forward. Let's keep building because
-
it is an increasing kingdom. But I want you to
-
see the corporate implication. The corporate implication in this metaphor
-
is clear. Your sins do matter. You're not an island.
-
Your sins are affecting me right now, are affecting you.
-
I don't live to myself. It's not personal salvation. It's
-
the kingdom of heaven on earth. God's trying to build
-
something significant. And if we just get in this realm,
-
then well, if I sin a little bit, big deal. Well,
-
if I struggle a little bit more than I should,
-
big deal. Well, when God's ready for me to get
-
done with this, I guess big deal. No, it is
-
a big deal. Wake up, sleeper, arise from your slumber
-
to Seephesian five. Let God shine on you and bring
-
illumination to your folly, because you are harming the entire kingdom.
-
This is the truth of the metaphor is we can't
-
go in by ourselves. You have to go in with me.
-
You have to we go in together. So that's why,
-
that's why we're that's why the word says, provoke one
-
another done to good deeds. That's why the word says,
-
let no ye look at Hebrews twelve fifteen, Let no
-
one falls short of the grace of God. Let no
-
one fall short of the grace of God. Good luck
-
on that one. How are we gonna do that one? Well,
-
you're gonna have to have relationships. You're gonna have to
-
have friendships. You're gonna have to know one another. You're
-
gonna have to pray for each other. You're gonna have
-
to be near one another. You're gonna have to cover
-
for one another. You're gonna have to strengthen one another.
-
You're gonna have to Oh you mean I gotta live
-
outside of my personal promised land? Yes, yes, the church
-
is a we group. We are in also a group.
-
We are in us group. Think about it. If this
-
is all about your promised land, then you could contentment
-
in your personal breakthrough. You could look the other way
-
when you see evil around you. You could abandon your
-
brother and sister. You could abandon the church. And how
-
many have done that? In the fugees sound twenty percent
-
of the population says they're born again, but will not
-
darken the door of a church. Twenty percent of our
-
population in the Puget Sound region says they're born again
-
and they are Christian, but they will not engage with
-
the church because they've been fed doctrines of demons. This
-
is a lie. You aren't meant to go in by yourself,
-
and you can't come into the fullness of what God
-
has for you by yourself. And it's not just about
-
you getting to heaven. That's a lie. If you were
-
all about our promised land, we could immerse ourselves in
-
personal endeavor, and maybe that's why so many of us do.
-
We could let others rot. We could ignore the poor,
-
we could ignore the prisoner. We could be careless if
-
our schools were filled with trash. Our government is perverse
-
and poorly managed. We could be careless about the next generation.
-
But it's not that it's not one that God has
-
in mind. God has something bigger in mind. Ten the
-
prayer he taught them, it starts with my Father, who
-
art in heaven. No, it doesn't starts with our father.
-
He's writing through the Ephesians in chapter six. It's recorded
-
for us I wrestle not against flesh and blood. No,
-
it says we we wrestle. We as a corporate assembly,
-
We as warriors together, we who are locked arm in arm,
-
We who care about one another, restore one another, prophesy
-
over one another, pray for one another, hold one another accountable,
-
hold one another's feet to the fire. We need longer
-
baptismal services. You know, you hold them down until they
-
stop sinning, right, So they used to do count longer one, two, three, four.
-
Then you wait for the Holy Spirit to say, yeah,
-
they're done. When you finally hear the Holy spirits say
-
they're done, oh okay, let them up, Let them up, waterboarded,
-
water for it good. You're done. Never going back to
-
that garbage, are you No? I won't come back. Our
-
struggle is not against flesh and blood our father, who
-
are in heaven. Holl it would be thy name. We
-
go together. We go together. Scripture after scripture right Ephesians four,
-
ten eleven through thirteen. I love it. The apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, leaders,
-
these gifts that have been given to edify the body
-
of Christ. They continue until we all come in through
-
the unity. Johnny put it up. These gifts continue until
-
we all come into the unity of the faith to
-
the full measure of the stature that belonged to the sun.
-
Not a couple of us, not one, not two, not
-
the preachers, not the pastors. It's a corporate ascension, and
-
it's a corporate battle, and it's a corporate war, and
-
it's a corporate victory. And it's a corporate strengthening of
-
one another. And it's a corporate rallying of one to another,
-
and it's a corporate coming around one another. As we
-
seek to do what overcome every argument, all logic, all reasoning,
-
every imagination, every high thing, every lofty thing, every lofty expression,
-
every lofty word, every lofty doctrine, dogma, instruction, discipline that
-
had set itself up against the knowledge of God. What
-
are we going to overcomeing with? We've got a higher knowledge,
-
We've got a higher wisdom. We've got a higher knowledge.
-
It's not just a rebuke that we bring. No, there's
-
a renewed mind. Don't you need a renewed mind after
-
you've had a good deliverance. Don't you need a renewed,
-
renewed mind. Don't you want to buy into the renewal
-
of the spirit. Guess what, there's a renewed mind for science,
-
there's a renewed mind. For philosophy, for history, for archaeology,
-
for every discipline, there is a renewed mind, and that
-
is the mind of Christ that reconciled that discipline back
-
to God. And when you're in the middle of it,
-
you're doing exactly what you should do. You're redeeming economics,
-
business and real estate. You're redeeming arts and entertainment, you're
-
redeeming education. You're doing spiritual warfare. You could rejoice over
-
yourself a little bit more recognized in the middle of
-
your fight and in the middle of the embrace of
-
the disciplines that influence culture, you're doing battle. It's not
-
just when you have a rebuke on your mouth against
-
the enemy. You're doing battle when you're in the midst
-
of embracing the wisdom from above and bringing it together
-
in a marriage with the knowledge of God. And you're
-
confronting the lies in culture. If those are the lies
-
in the economy, the lies in education, the lies in government,
-
wherever those lies exist, you're doing a good fight. You're
-
bringing forth a good fight as you confront that reasoning
-
and we confron it together, we lock arms. Wow, you
-
got what I got what do you got covered? I
-
got this covered today? How about you and we strengthen
-
one another and we wean ourselves off of the binkies
-
of entertainment. Get off your entertainment binkie, Get off your
-
entertainment binkie. You are called to be a world changer
-
and an overcomer. You're called to be a world changer
-
and an overcomer, and you can't do that with the
-
binkie in your mouth. Come on, don't shout just because
-
I'm preaching. Good, fair team, come to the front with you.
-
I'm in every head, about every eye close across the building. Today.
-
God is calling you royalty. He's calling you royalty. He's
-
called you in your generation because you are royalty. You
-
are a king and a priest. You're a king and
-
a priest. You're a ruler. You're an overcomer. God has
-
destined and puts you in this generation to influence, to
-
make a difference, not only to flourish, but to impact.
-
And so Holy Spirit, we ask right now that you
-
will meet your word and meet this today, this word
-
from above, with downloads that raise us up into the
-
royalty You've called us to be, lift us up into
-
the royalty. You've called us to be quicken us out
-
of the mundane, out of the normal. We are not normal,
-
out of the natural. We're not natural. We're called the supernatural,
-
living and supernatural partnerships with the Supreme One, who's reconciling
-
all things back to himself. To here's today and giving
-
your life to the Lord. I want you to come.
-
This is your moment just to come and be prayed for.
-
Maybe earlier you are already prayed, but this is your
-
moment to receive an assurance of salvation. If you're here
-
today and you haven't been baptizing the Holy Spirit, and
-
you're not functioning and flowing in the gifts of the Spirit,
-
the supernatural gifts of God, then come be prayed for.
-
As we close today, just take a moment and allow
-
Holy Spirit to touch you in a powerful way. If
-
you're here you need a word from God about your future,
-
about your life, about your destiny. This is your moment.
-
Come and be ministered to. We're going to close with worship,
-
but we're going to seek Him as we go. Now,
-
bless your church,
