  1. How are we doing church. Oh yeah, we're gonna have

  2. some fun. I want to speak in the next couple

  3. of minutes on crushing arguments against voting, Biblical citizenship, crushes

  4. arguments against your excuses to not get involved. Well, I

  5. just don't think I'm going to vote this year. Goodness gracious, myrtle.

  6. Number one, here's some excuses I don't think it's important

  7. to vote. Okay, So let me address that one. Our

  8. nation was founded upon justice, liberty, and dignity for each human.

  9. These biblical values formed our union, and we're the foundation

  10. of our constitution. We are a nation of laws under

  11. the law giver. We are called as a people to

  12. enforce and uphold these principles through participation. The form of

  13. government that we have is wonderful when we participate, but

  14. it is extremely dangerous when the upright fail to engage

  15. through voting participation. Now, listen to Romans thirteen four, King James,

  16. Romans thirteen six, and I want you to hear it.

  17. Just with it in mind that what we're doing is

  18. we're moving God's choices forward. Because Romans thirteen four, for

  19. he is the minister of God speaking of government, Government

  20. is the minister of God to you for good. And

  21. I want you to just focus in on government is

  22. the minister of God. I want you to see that.

  23. And so when we vote, that's what we're pushing forward.

  24. We're pushing forward. Actually, the ministry, the ministry of God

  25. for the good of our communities, that's what we're pushing forward.

  26. Look at verse six to this cause pay ye tribute,

  27. King James, also for they are God's ministers.

  28. Why do we That's.

  29. Interesting Here we tithe because here we have a form

  30. of God's ministry. We also pay taxes because that's a

  31. form of God's ministry.

  32. We pay tribute.

  33. Because these in government are ministry of God. But none

  34. of us want to give financially tribute to those who

  35. are ministers of Satan. But it's our voting that makes

  36. the difference. Are we going to pay tribute to ministers

  37. of Satan? So it's our voting, it's our voting. It's

  38. our voting that moves these principles forward. And we have

  39. this tremendous privilege under a democratic republic. Number two, God

  40. is sovereign. My vote won't change what he's about to do.

  41. And I don't want to interfere with his sovereignty. God

  42. is sovereign. He's gonna make oh whatever you know, God,

  43. God sets in the leaders he wants. But the Word

  44. says he doesn't do this without the participation of the

  45. people of faith and without the participation of the prophetic word.

  46. Let me, let me, let me just look at these verses,

  47. and first I'll read this to you. Yes, yes, God

  48. is sovereign, but his sovereignty is manifested through the leading

  49. of the spirit upon the hearts of those who follow him.

  50. So he's already talking to you about who to vote

  51. for him, and that's how he exercises his sovereignty. He's

  52. already convicting you. He's already leading you. He's already showing

  53. you who to vote for. And in that he's exercising

  54. his sovereignty. For you to back away from participation by

  55. faith in how he's leading you is actually to circumvent

  56. his sovereignty, because he's moving through the hearts of his

  57. people Amos three seven. Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing

  58. without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. Now

  59. that's old Testament, but you know what new Testament is.

  60. Revelation nineteen ten the testimony of Jesus in your heart,

  61. the testimony of Jesus in the raima of his word

  62. over you. Is the spirit of prophecy New Testament, isn't Oh,

  63. I got to find a prophet to tell me how

  64. to vote. Oh, the prophet and the spirit of the

  65. prophet lives in me by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Because

  66. I've invited Jesus to be the lord of my life.

  67. This is how he exercises his sovereignty. Is he speaks

  68. to us, and then we partner with him to move

  69. the Promised landforward. Number three, there's not a perfect candidate.

  70. That's true. There's not a perfect candidate. There's not a

  71. perfect candidate for any of these positions, local or national.

  72. There is not a perfect candidate. But I got news

  73. for you. There's not a perfect husband either. I haven't

  74. met a perfect wife yet. There's not a perfect pastor. Well,

  75. I wish there was one, but there is a There's

  76. not a perfect pastor. There's not a perfect school teacher.

  77. But you're all going to send off your kids on

  78. Monday back into instruction, whether it's Christian, private homeschooling. By

  79. the way, if you're the homeschooling, queen of your home,

  80. or king.

  81. You're not even perfect. Come on, wake up.

  82. There's not a perfect one, right, He's the perfect one,

  83. and we keep getting transformed into his image. And so

  84. that's not a good excuse. But there is clearly a

  85. more godly platform. There is more godly candidates and those

  86. who have sympathy and empathy toward the Christian biblical view

  87. of liberty and of our constitutional values. And so that's

  88. who we're going to vote for, and that's who we

  89. want to move forward. Fourth excuse, Evil will prevail. Evil's

  90. supposed to prevail. Evil should prevail because these are the

  91. last days. Man. We should prepare for things to decline.

  92. We should prepare for this stuff because it's inevitable. Everyone.

  93. We are now selling containers. You can get a twenty

  94. foot or a forty foot. Purchase yours right after service,

  95. dig a hole in the ground, put it in there.

  96. Become a prepper with us. No, this is not kingdom.

  97. This is not kingdom. This end time theology that is

  98. prevalent in the church, that's causing us to disengage from culture,

  99. causing us to throw away our faith, causing us to

  100. watch more football.

  101. Instead of prayer. Come on.

  102. The average pastor in America praise seven minutes a day,

  103. the average Christian less than five. This kind of hopeless

  104. theology is not the historical theology of the Church. The

  105. Church is an overcoming army, an overcoming machine. The Church

  106. is called and it's been determined that we will tread

  107. upon serpents, scorpions, and all the power of the devil.

  108. And before I wax eloquent on my endtime theology and

  109. get myself in mountains of postmillennial trouble, let me just

  110. mention to you some other thoughts that I think we

  111. should consider. First of all, Ephesians for eleven through thirteen.

  112. First of all, it searchs in verse eight, and it

  113. says that when he ascended, he distributed his gifts to men.

  114. And then he names the gifts, and these we call

  115. him office gifts. And he names the fivefold office gifts

  116. apossible prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist, and he names those gifts,

  117. and then he says, these gifts will be given to

  118. the ecclesia, given to the church until we all come.

  119. We have the verse, until we all come into the

  120. full stature of the mature man of that which belongs

  121. to Christ. Is anybody at that level? Anybody walk on

  122. water this morning, anybody pay your taxes by asking a

  123. fish to pull it out of the bottom of the ocean.

  124. I'm just telling you a generation like that is coming.

  125. But we are not that generation. And so for us

  126. to think, oh, yeah, the Lord's coming back, the Lord's

  127. he is coming back, but there are signs and symbols

  128. in the Bible that tell us when, and this is

  129. not the win. We are not the glorious Church. Now,

  130. let me define the glory. The glorious church is in

  131. Ephesian chapter five. Can I define the glorious.

  132. Church for you?

  133. It's without spot or wrinkle. Any spots or wrinkles in

  134. the church. Now the other symbol, I mean, I think things.

  135. I guarantee things are gonna warm up, heat up, and

  136. it's gonna get so good. It's gonna get so much gooder.

  137. Like you're gonna stop in at a church in Tacoma

  138. and it's gonna feel like the one in Fife. You're

  139. gonna stop in a church in Federal Way and it's

  140. gonna feel like the one in five. If you're gonna

  141. chop in a church in Seattle, and it's gonna feel

  142. like the one in five. You're gonna run back to

  143. Detroit and stop into a church and feel like it's

  144. the one in Fife. Why Because it says, until we

  145. all come into the unity of the faith, of the

  146. full stature that belongs to the Sun. So all of

  147. this division and divisiveness, all of these doctrines of demons,

  148. all of this selfish ambition and pride, it's all going

  149. to be going away as he perfects the church and

  150. he washes out the spots and he irons out the wrinkles.

  151. Can I give you one more? Where's Israel at today?

  152. Where's Israel at today? Have you been to Israel ately?

  153. Most of the Jewish people are secular. Most of the

  154. Jewish people are secular. But I'm telling you there's a

  155. promise before the Second Coming. It's not a post second

  156. coming promise. The promise before the Second Coming is that

  157. they will come in.

  158. They will be.

  159. Grafted back in. And it says, and we have the verse.

  160. Can we go to it? Out of Romans chapter eleven.

  161. And I want you to work with me, because I

  162. don't want you to thinking I just need to get

  163. out of here. No, it's not a time for you

  164. to get to heaven. It's a time for you to

  165. work your tail off to get heaven on earth. This

  166. is where God is taking the Church. He's taking the

  167. Church to heaven on earth, not getting you to heaven.

  168. And so look at that it talks about us. It says,

  169. if their rejection, God rejected Israel and he issued them

  170. a divorce, but not fully. He left a stump. And

  171. then we've been grafted into that stump. And it says,

  172. if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, the Gentile nations,

  173. what will their acceptance be for the world but life

  174. from the dead. I'm telling you that where we're headed

  175. with the Church, as she becomes glorious, as we are

  176. without spot and wrinkle, as we come into the unity

  177. of the faith, of the full stature of the Sun.

  178. We're headed into this place where the Jewish people Israel

  179. will be grafted back in. And if you think when

  180. God turned to the Gentiles it was amazing, wait till

  181. he brings the Hebrew people back in. It's going to

  182. be like a resurrection from the dead to the entire earth.

  183. Has that happened, huh? Then I'm not worried about the

  184. Lord coming back today. Now I'm gonna live like he is,

  185. but I'm gonna plan like He wants me to be

  186. engaged in bringing heaven to earth. He wants me to

  187. live with faith and hope and victory. He wants me

  188. to bear witness of his kingship. He wants me to

  189. believe in his glorious coming, in the Word, in the

  190. Kingdom of Heaven, in the expansion of such. And he

  191. wants me to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the

  192. peace while she's reprobate, the peace of Jerusalem that will

  193. come as she comes back in the peace, as she's

  194. sanctified the peace, as she rejoins the gentile Church, and

  195. we become one church with no dividing wall Ephesians II.

  196. The dividing wall has been pulled down, and he is

  197. making us one new person, one new people that out

  198. of every tribe, tongue, kindred, race, nation, and people, he's

  199. bringing a glorious church. Jew and Gentile stand with me

  200. this morning. I say all of that because I don't

  201. want you using any excuses to not vote. We live

  202. in a privileged land, a privileged nation, and our voting

  203. is the most strategic part of the democratic republic, wherein

  204. we can exercise our participation.

  205. To move.

  206. God given liberty, tutional freedom, biblical values forward by selecting

  207. through initiative, through vote, selecting representatives and lawmakers, getting behind

  208. those that will continue to stand for what our founding

  209. fathers saw as a great nation with liberty and justice

  210. for all.

  211. I want you to leave here today.

  212. And you know there's a bunch in my tribe, but

  213. I want you to leave here today.

  214. Dwain Alan Wolfe.

  215. Nearly sixty six, guest speaker, October twenty third, coming right up.

  216. I want you to leave here today, texting, phoning, emailing,

  217. social mediating every single human you know, encouraging them to vote,

  218. encouraging them about some of what you're learning, like Dave Larsen,

  219. like Dave Olson, like Kelly Chambers. Right, I want you

  220. encouraging them with the confidence of oh, we can make

  221. a difference, not only at the national level, but at

  222. the local level. We can make a difference and we

  223. can push values forward. Did you hear what Dave Olson said?

  224. He said, not only are the parents rejoicing over the policy,

  225. the anti social media policy with phones in the gig

  226. Harbor School District. Not only are parents rejoicing, not only

  227. are teachers rejoicing. Did you hear who's rejoicing?

  228. The students are thanking us. Huh.

  229. Sounds like a proverb. When the righteous are in rule,

  230. When the righteous reign, the people rejoice. When the wicked rule,

  231. the people grown, the people grown. Even the students are thankful.

  232. I'm telling you everybody in our state is going to

  233. be thankful if we will rise up and encourage godly values.

  234. And I would rather say it as upright values. Try

  235. not to get too spiritual or religious outside of the

  236. context of this room. These are healthy values, These are

  237. upright values.

  238. I love what you know.

  239. I saw a little thing with Elon Musk yesterday and he's,

  240. you know, he's somewhere. He doesn't espouse to be a

  241. believer whatsoever, but he's somewhere, and he's like, what in

  242. the world. I'm being told that free speech is a

  243. right wing thought. No, it's a constitutional thought. These things

  244. are not right wing, their constitutional liberties. Yes, So as

  245. you think about your family, you think about your friends,

  246. try to take I know, in this environment we use

  247. the word godly values, and you know it fits here

  248. and it makes sense, but try to strip your phrasing

  249. of Christian easee and try to get the wisdom from

  250. above to just use words that are more appealing to

  251. the unsaved heart. Amen, thought, we thank you for your

  252. grace on us right now to make wisdom appealing, to

  253. make wisdom wise, to make wisdom popular, to make wisdom acceptable.

  254. We just say, there's a grace on us today and

  255. on every person watching this stream to move forward with

  256. the wisdom from above, to talk about it, to share it,

  257. to make it appealing. We give you the praise for

  258. it in Jesus' name. And everybody said, on your way out,

  259. get the pastor's picks or the Pierce County picks, Pastor's

  260. pixes for King County, the white vanilla one is for

  261. Pierce County. Get your platform comparison. And then one final thing. Tonight,

  262. Ladies night out is in this room. That means we're

  263. going to transform the room. We need about ten of

  264. you strong men to help us transform the room. Remove

  265. these chairs, set up some tables, work with the team.

  266. As we go.

  267. God, bless you, thanks for making this house amazing.

  268. We love you.
