Wasn't that good? I promised you, I promise you. Ah helujah,
-
so good fun. Miss Wolfe was beautiful, Katie had Lissa
-
Nitro and refined team. You're amazing. Thanks for investing your
-
kids like that. So good, so good part of them,
-
so good, so fun. I want to read a little
-
bit about John Schaffter, want to you a little bit
-
out of Isaiah Long, and then we'll close this morning.
-
Don jap John, the man sent from God whose name
-
is Jean. He came as a witness testify concerning that light,
-
so that through him all might leave. He himself was
-
not the light. He came only as a witness to
-
the light, the night that gives light. Everyone was coming
-
into the world. He was in the world. And though
-
the world's made through him, the world did not recognim.
-
He can't to that which was his own. His own
-
did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him,
-
to those who believe in his name, he gave the
-
right to become children of God, sons and God, not sleves,
-
but sons and daughters, children of God. Children born not
-
of natural descent, nor human decision, or of a husband's will,
-
but born of God. Churchive over your heart to receive Jesus,
-
and in doing so you've received the light of all men.
-
In doing so you've received not slavery, not slavery tod
-
or rules, or you've received sonship. You really the end
-
it comes to live within you. I'm born in experience,
-
born not of the will of man, born of God.
-
This is experience, it's rebirth. It's what we call being
-
again because when we're born naturally born, separated from God,
-
and we're called to be born again, that is to
-
get decision. Nobody forces on you. It's kind of interesting
-
that we're born in unrighteousness, but we can choose be
-
born again. Isn't it interesting that we you know, righteousness
-
wasn't forced on you. Come on, think about that. Righteousness
-
doesn't forced on you. So you can decide to be
-
born again. You can decide to be born of God,
-
born from above, born of the spirit. This is what
-
God has givens and sin his son. And it's good news, goodness.
-
You know the word all means goodness. No bro in church.
-
For years I didn't know that, and maybe I needed
-
my head again. But some moason it felt me there
-
was such a bad news but the gospel actually means
-
good news, and the good news of the gospel was
-
first player by Isaiah in chapter sixty one. I want
-
to read a little bit of it to you. This
-
is the good news of gospel of the king godbel
-
of the Kingdom. So when we think about what does
-
the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven look like, it's
-
the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. And it's an
-
increasing where in our heart and lives and in the earth.
-
And I love that we don't have to be I
-
love that the gospel being good news delivers is out
-
of peasant Isn't that good? Now? Isaiah? That on purpose
-
because so many churches still are under the influence of hesimism,
-
so many Christians are still under the influence of pessimism.
-
And one of the reasons why is because there's a
-
doctrine out there that says that the increase of the
-
Kingdom of Heaven on earth doesn't actually happen until after
-
He comes the second time. The opponents all over in
-
Christianity telling you, telling uh that the Kingdom of Heaven
-
will start we out the second time, not per time,
-
but the second time becn some time that's when the
-
Kingdom of Heaven on earth will in Greece. But that
-
isn't what Isaiah said in chapter nine. We read it
-
earlier today. This isn't what Jesus said. That isn't really
-
what the words said. Now is the time for the
-
Kingdom of heaven to a trice. Now the time for
-
the Kingdom of Heaven to a tries in our hearts
-
and in to intries in the earth. And the very
-
p' setting here in this environment day proves that it's
-
already been happening for two thousand years and it's a
-
continued heaven. So I love that Isaiah chapter nine starts
-
by saying, no more gloom and no more doom. Isn't
-
that good? Wow? Because a child is born, unto us,
-
no more gloom. Because a child is born, that's when
-
the kingdom of on earth had it's began it. And
-
here's what he declared concern himself. This is idea Isaiah
-
chapter sixty one. It's the messianics. It's the passage about
-
the Mossaiah coming. It's one of those wonderful passages as
-
to what Jesus stood up and read as the German
-
Luke chapter four. Matthew. Chapter four records he was in
-
chapter three of both of those books. We're told about
-
he baptized in water, but chapter four about his first
-
sur and after he was baptized and water, the Holy
-
Spirit descended upon him a dove. And then he was
-
led into the wilderness and for pretty days faceted, and
-
at the end of that period was tested by the enemy,
-
and he prayled right out of that he his for sermon,
-
and he walked into the Senegal again. He asked a
-
scroll of Isaiah. They handed him the school and he
-
turned Isaiah sixty one. Now it didn't have numbers in
-
those days, but he turned to now is numbered as
-
sixty one. And hear what he said. The spirit of
-
the Solar Lord is opony, because the Lord has anointed
-
me to proclaim good news to the poor. It wasn't
-
just poor and spirit. It wasn't just more at heart.
-
It wasn't just those that he's claiming liberty to or
-
good news who he was proclaiming good news to the boar.
-
Because he had come shaped every system poverty, systems that
-
were cast system, systems that help people in poverty. He
-
can't break every one of them. Down and to bring
-
liberty for the lossing of God over every person. You know,
-
the gender nations didn't even have. It was to prosper
-
under the blessings God. Only Israel knew what it was
-
to prosper the blessings of God. What he came proclaiming
-
was for every person. He goes on, he says he
-
has me to bind up the broken hearted. He broken
-
hearted people here. We've all been broken heart We've all
-
experienced heartbreak. We've all experienced brokenness of a relationship, of jury,
-
of abuse, of harm, no matter what the harm is.
-
Jesus has come to bund up that wound with the
-
ointment of His anointance of that brikanness, to bring healing.
-
And he has set me to proclaim freedom for the captives. Well,
-
that's all of us. We've all been had captive by something.
-
It's good news. They longer have to be captive, to
-
fear the rejection to a circumstance it made a victim.
-
We don't have beheld captive to any vice or any
-
negative thought, or any addition. He has come to declare
-
freedom to every captive and release from markness, all who
-
are released from markness. For the prisoners. We come out
-
of arness, We come out of the prison of darkness
-
into the light of His lorry. And then he goes
-
on to proclaim the air of Lord's favor. That's got
-
to be my favorites or eritict proclaimed the Lord the
-
year Lord's favor is. It's a Jewish terminology that goes
-
all the back to the Torah first books, to the Bible.
-
He was actually bring reference to the jubilee the fiftieth year.
-
If he recountered the seven years of seven and then
-
it's forty nine, so then on fiftieth year they celebrate
-
the Julie, and the Julie is the year of the
-
Lord of Earth. And in the year of Jubilee, all
-
that surfing them, everything is restored to every man. Every
-
person receives reetoration. And he was announce not just a
-
day of jubilee, but he was announcing a perpetually over
-
mancome that good news, the good news of Gospel of
-
Heaven is the good news of Heaven on earth. And
-
it's the year of God's favor this year and next
-
year and the next year. And no one can take
-
the favor of God from you. He announced the perpetual Julie,
-
that we could live in it and experience it. Isn't
-
that amazing? He closed the passage before he rolled a roll,
-
and he says to proclaim the day of vengeance of
-
our God had come from those who mourn. He came
-
to declare the vengeance of our God of our armies,
-
even though we had been our partners. Is that amazing?
-
If you partnered with fear, that was really an enemy
-
wanted to take you down. If you partnered with poverd
-
that was an enemy. It wanted to take you down.
-
If you partnered with depression, that was an enemy that
-
wanted to take you down. If you've partnered with any
-
addiction that you're ashamed of, that was an enemy that
-
wanted to take you down. Jesus put those under your feet.
-
Jesus came to be your vengeance against those enemies. Jesus
-
came to do something that we were strong enough to
-
do ourselves. And that's goodness. I wasn't wrong enough to
-
overcome the enemies. But He's done it on my behalf,
-
and I ended his victory. I enter into him, I
-
enter into his victory over my enemies, and I acknowledge
-
him and how I'm partnering with him instead of partnering
-
with my enemies. Doesn't send the good news. Wow, what
-
was you saying with me this morning? I want to
-
invite you this morning as we close. I want to
-
invite you this morning to close, to welcome the leader
-
of the good news. Live a little bit beer in
-
your heart. I zen nine. The increase of his government
-
of peace, there will be no end. Everyone in this room,
-
in being me, everyone could open our hearse up a
-
little bit bigger this season. Everyone has combow another need season.
-
Every one of us could find a door to a
-
room that's been locked and kept him out of it,
-
and we could open that this season, and we could
-
welcome not his judgment. He's not coming to judge, not
-
his condemnation. He's not coming condned. He's coming with shilloon.
-
He's coming with his hit from above. He's coming with
-
coaching that lead us beside seal Waters coaching. It will
-
cause us to have no coaching that will restore us all.
-
It's him. He's the master shepherd. He came in that stable,
-
but then he's the king of our hearts. I'm invited
-
you and pray with me right now. Father, we welcome
-
you right now to bring more of Jesus into our hearts.
-
Wish to mind if you want to, and if you will,
-
don't have to be loud, but I love it if
-
you would seal all this moment yourself in prayer. Father,
-
we thank you the Shaloam of the Christ, the Shalom Chambrin,
-
and we welcome, we welome you right now. We welcome
-
you in our hearts a bigger way. We want our
-
hearts to grow and increase in love of the Lord
-
in the season. We want the increase of your shalom
-
to come and sell here and we'll give you please
-
right now and give you room and we just see come.
-
Let this season be a season of transformation and grace
-
in Jesus name. And everybody's said, I'm gonna ask the
-
prayer team to come, and they're just going to come
-
up to the front. There's gonna be a few of
-
them up here, just lingering. If you paid that prayer
-
this morning and you meant it, If you prayed that
-
prayer this morning and you know that God's doing something
-
in your heart, you're feeling it right now, I want
-
you to come. We're going to close with the wordship,
-
long we go. We're in overs to get out of here.
-
So the Parideam is going to be here, just a mister,
-
just to pay. If this is your morning, this is
-
your morning to go deeper in Him. This is your
-
mourn to increase in the shalom of Lord. This is
-
your morning to open your heart and open the order heart.
-
Come be prayed for mister too. Father, we bless your
-
people this Christmas Eve, and we thank you for this
-
giving to day in Jesus name. Amen, God bless you.
