  1. Hallelujah. We just thank you, Lord.

  2. We thank you God for what you are continuing to

  3. do in our minds today and in our hearts. Lord,

  4. I pray that there is a transformation, even radical transformations.

  5. God of the mind today, Jesus, Father, renew it, renew it,

  6. renew it. And Lord, I thank you God. We we

  7. give you our hearts today.

  8. Father.

  9. Uh, I know that you are the only one who

  10. we can trust with our heart. And so God, I

  11. pray that you would you would continue to mend the

  12. hearts of the people, to continue to encourage the hearts

  13. of the people today through this word in Jesus's name. Amen, Amen, Amen.

  14. All right, Wow, there's a big topic for me. It's

  15. a big topic for me. Uh. The Lord gave me

  16. this word while I was having a conversation with Pastor Duane.

  17. Shout out to Pastor Dwayne. If he's out there listening,

  18. I know he probably is. We love you, Pastor. This

  19. is something that that has been kind of been downloaded

  20. to me, and I think part of it is because

  21. the scriptures that pertain to the to the Word also

  22. have been very changing and transforming for my own life

  23. and have led me to where I'm at and so

  24. this is like a very near and dear subject, right

  25. because I think I'm I don't know, I just I'm

  26. so passionate about this word expansion. Maybe maybe you guys

  27. can catch it this this this day, let's put up

  28. the title expansion Destroys Fear.

  29. And Joshua Chapter one.

  30. Moses had died and he left Joshua basically as the leader.

  31. He was his assistant. And so we're going to start

  32. reading the word at verse three Joshua chapter one, Verse three.

  33. Every place that.

  34. Just keep going as I'm done, Just keep going, every

  35. place that the sole of your foot will tread upon.

  36. I have given you, as I said to Moses, from

  37. the wilderness, and this Lebanon, as far as the Great

  38. River and the River Euphrates, all of the land of

  39. the hit Sites, and also the Great Sea towards the

  40. going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No

  41. man shall be able to stand before you all the

  42. days of your life as I was with Moses. So

  43. I will be with you. I will not leave you

  44. nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage. Say,

  45. be strong and of good courage, For to this people

  46. you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I

  47. swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong

  48. and very courageous, that you may observe to do according

  49. to the law which Moses, my servant commanded. You do

  50. not turn from it to the right hand or to

  51. the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

  52. This book of the Law.

  53. Shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate

  54. in it day and night, and that you may observe

  55. to do according to all that it is written in it.

  56. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then

  57. you will have good success. Have I not commanded you

  58. be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid

  59. nor dismayed, For the Lord, your God is with you

  60. wherever you go. At the beginning in Genesis, you know,

  61. he says that you should fill the earth and subdue it.

  62. He gives a command to mankind. Amen.

  63. Okay, so we're gonna go with this thing in mind.

  64. Expansion destroys fear. He told him three times to be

  65. strong and courageous. Do you think that someone who's having

  66. this conversation with somebody else maybe know something about Joshua,

  67. that perhaps maybe he's a little bit afraid that maybe

  68. he needs a little bit of encouragement. So he had

  69. been walking around a mountain in the wilderness for forty

  70. years with a lot of disobedient people that were just

  71. slowly dying off, slowly dying off. He was living among

  72. a people who were just trickling down right because God

  73. said that they would not enter into that promised land

  74. because of their disobedience, because they feared the inhabitants of

  75. the promised land. They feared what was coming, they feared confrontation,

  76. and God didn't appreciate their lack of trust in him

  77. because it was God who gave the command. It was

  78. God who was leading. It was God who would go

  79. before them and not leave them or forsake them.

  80. Amen.

  81. Okay, let's let's see when we need to be courageous

  82. and strong in this in this uh, in these verses

  83. in verse six and verse seven and verse nine, there

  84. is definitely lack in what Joshua may be feeling, or

  85. doubts may be swimming around in his head, or maybe

  86. there's even outside sources that are telling him that you know,

  87. you are you sure this is what you're going what

  88. you're going to want to do? And what I mean

  89. by that is it could be the voice of the

  90. enemy coming against him. You know, it's not just his

  91. own inWORD man speaking. It could also be the voice

  92. of the enemy coming against the word of God. Right,

  93. And I want us to apply this to our own lives. Okay,

  94. this is why it's been taught. I want to apply

  95. it to our own lives, individually and corporately. Okay, all right.

  96. So in the middle of each moment where God asked

  97. Joshua to be strong, he shows him when he will

  98. need strength. Right, I said that the first one is

  99. about provision. The first time that he speaks to him,

  100. God actually reveals to him I will provide something that Joshua,

  101. you cannot or will never produce for the people of

  102. Israel on your own. In other words, God brings provision,

  103. the provision of the land which Joshua had never known.

  104. Joshua was born in slavery. Joshua was in the wilderness

  105. all of his life, so he never owned a piece

  106. of land. He never was a homeowner. He was probably

  107. the most unqualified person to parcel out land that he

  108. has never experienced in his old entire life. So the

  109. most unqualified of people are being asked to be the

  110. ones to parcel out and divide land for over two

  111. million people. Wow, that's a I'm gonna need some strength

  112. and courage. I don't know about you. I'm going to

  113. need strength and courage for him, you know.

  114. But you know he tells him.

  115. He's like, I'm going to I'm going to give you

  116. that strength and that courage so that that way you

  117. can divide it to this great peace people.

  118. Amen.

  119. So number one is provision number two. The second time,

  120. God tells him that he will need to be strong

  121. and take courage and when he needs to honor the

  122. word of God, who was that was handed down by

  123. his servant Moses. How well are we honoring the word of.

  124. The people of God? Right?

  125. How well do we honor up to the next generation.

  126. You need strength and courage to be able to trust

  127. that they want what is best for you, that they

  128. are leading you and directing you in the right direction.

  129. You need to have courage and strength, and God provides it. Amen,

  130. this is what he's saying you must have, and this

  131. is for us. You must have conviction that this is

  132. ultimate truth in our generation. You must be fully convinced

  133. that this gospel that we teach and we preach is

  134. the ultimate truth. You need strength to uphold it as

  135. ultimate truth, and you're going to need courage to live

  136. it out. That's why he says, do not depart from

  137. it to the left or to the right, but do

  138. everything that is written in it, and then you will

  139. have good Successah. Finally, the third time that he tells him,

  140. he says, you will need strength and courage when you

  141. feel fear and dismay. The answer to fear and dismay

  142. is the knowing that God will never leave you.

  143. Nor forsake you, and that He will be with.

  144. You wherever you go.

  145. That's the word.

  146. Yeah, the elimination of fear is what we're after. Fear

  147. of the unknown, fear of lack, fear of uncertainty, the

  148. fear of challenges and distractions which so easily can ensnare

  149. us right, the unknown. Fear of the unknown might be

  150. the most triggering thing of your imagination. Then you might

  151. know you might get most imaginative with the fear of

  152. the unknown then than any other time in your life. Yeah,

  153. you start to get really creative with what with with

  154. what might happen that hasn't even taken place. Yet I

  155. can only imagine exactly what those people, when they were fearing,

  156. were actually thinking. Man, I'm about to get torn to

  157. pieces from those giants. They're gonna cook me and they're

  158. gonna eat me. Instead of going like Joshua and Caleb,

  159. these people are our bread. Come on, he prepares a

  160. meal for you in the presence of your enemies. He

  161. sets a whole table. Will the enemy be your bread? See,

  162. Joshua received strength and courage simultaneously. When the command came,

  163. he had already obtained it on this side of the Jordan,

  164. in the desert, in the wilderness. However, Joshua did not

  165. experience this until he crosses the Jordan. So God waits

  166. for the ark to go before him to stop the

  167. waters all the way to the city of Adam, right

  168. where Man ends, God begins come.

  169. That's Kye.

  170. So God takes them through that river and they walk

  171. on the other side, and when there's these great walls

  172. in front of him, he goes, Okay, I have no

  173. idea how I'm gonna get past these walls.

  174. But God knows He's with us. Amen.

  175. So it was during the expansion time that Israel. It

  176. was the through the expansion of Israel, that Joshua experiences

  177. victory and the conquest over fear.

  178. See, there's a there's a there is.

  179. A victory, and then there's victories.

  180. After the first one.

  181. So you first conquer it a little out of time,

  182. step by step, city by city, nation by nation, people

  183. by people. Right, fill the earth and subdue. It is

  184. what we're commanded to do. It is in our dna,

  185. it is our makeup, and as the children of God,

  186. it is it is the kingdom of Heaven that we

  187. want brought down right. So something that he told me. Actually,

  188. also as I was thinking about today, we oftentimes speak

  189. about God's will being done on earth as it is

  190. in heaven. But it happens after you begin conquering fear

  191. and moving into the promises of God for your life.

  192. You bring about His will through your actions. As you

  193. discover the will of God in prayer, your life begins

  194. to reflect that you understand that will by what you

  195. do next true true. So he takes that step, and

  196. he goes across the river, and they take Jericho and

  197. all of the enemies in the surrounding region. No, yeah,

  198. this is what and they say this, this is what

  199. Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai Wow, and they

  200. greatly feared. Oh God, I think an excuse me if

  201. this is going to sound a little bit you know,

  202. too manly or whatever you know, but it is what

  203. it is, Kay.

  204. Listen.

  205. A man can only know what it's like to win

  206. when he engages in combat or competition. David only knew

  207. how to kill a giant through the experience of fighting

  208. a giant. I think sometimes we get so afraid to

  209. move forward because of the fear of the unknown, rather

  210. than using the fear of staying exactly as you are

  211. to propel you into the direction that God has carved

  212. out before you. When he shows you the promise of

  213. things to come. It is not our job to respond with.

  214. What if good? What if you don't provide? What? What

  215. if the enemy defeats me? What if.

  216. You know?

  217. What if you're not there with me?

  218. We need that exact fear of staying and exactly as

  219. we are to propel us into killing that which is

  220. in front of us. Right, And it says, and here's

  221. the thing about the word. They stayed for forty days

  222. in that valley, looking fear in the face and being

  223. completely stopped an entire army of men who were backed

  224. by God. They said that it was the army of

  225. the Lord was completely stopped in fear, and that fear

  226. never departed until after that giant was overcome. Then they

  227. all charged into combat and battle. But it takes faithful

  228. action forward by even just one man of God. Imagine

  229. an army of God who would take a step forward

  230. in what God has called them to do, to fill

  231. the earth and subdue it, to edenize the world, to

  232. establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, to expand beyond

  233. what we think we are able to even do on

  234. our own. So we have a church, now we're expanding it.

  235. So it's growing, why because we need it for capacity.

  236. What happens when that one grows too big? Come on,

  237. come on. It's one conquest after the next until we

  238. fill up this earth and sub it until every single

  239. place looks like light and glory. We grow so that

  240. God can continue to pour in more glory, so that

  241. he can continue to fill it with more presence, so

  242. that he can continue to draw in the loss, or

  243. draw in the believer, so that they can come here

  244. and learn the word of God, so that they can

  245. be activated into the promises of God, so that they

  246. can be taught and brought and sent out into the

  247. pilot gad station, into Uganda, into Texas, into the prisons,

  248. and pulling out that which the enemy thought that he had,

  249. and driving them from darkness into God's marvelous light. And

  250. we can only do that through expanse. This has been

  251. the whole entire process of God from the very beginning.

  252. Do you know when he said to tend and to

  253. keep it, he was actually expanding, eat it. It continued

  254. to grow and to flourish. After the curse came, he said,

  255. he said, lets the wilderness overtake you, you know, so

  256. that way you can grow outward. You can grow outward.

  257. The intention is to grow in numbers, to feel it

  258. and subdue it. This applies to our own personal ministry expressions.

  259. This applies to what you do in your every day life.

  260. This applies to what you do in volunteering here. This

  261. applies to you in what the Lord has called you

  262. to do. As far as apostolic leadership in business, you know,

  263. there's a bunch of people of you who are in business,

  264. who owned businesses. And guess what if you know that

  265. that's your call and you know that that's part of

  266. you building the Kingdom of God. Then expand thedn't grow.

  267. That's good.

  268. Be more afraid to stay the same. I love it.

  269. Be more afraid to stay the same because we preach

  270. a gospel that is continued all the time. It is

  271. always moving, it's always it's always changing us, transforming us.

  272. Right.

  273. He's the foundation. Right, He's the cornerstone of our of

  274. our faith. Jesus is right. And we never expect Christians

  275. to stay exactly as they came in. We never expect

  276. that people say, come as you are, but allow God

  277. to transform you into he has called you to be.

  278. Don't come as you are and stay as you are.

  279. That don't work. Wow? Yeah, Yes, stay humble, Yes, stay contrite, Yes,

  280. stay stay raw in your heart for the Lord. Yes,

  281. stay stay in that posture of gratitude.

  282. Yes, stay in those things. Everything else though.

  283. Okay, let's push those weeds out. Yeah, let's let's plant

  284. a new garden, let's lay a new foundation, let's scrow. Aymen,

  285. I'm preaching today. I don't know about you, guys. I

  286. feel like I'm preaching today.

  287. H Mmmm.

  288. Okay, let's go to let's let's use Zerubbyl as another

  289. example of this, because he was a man that had

  290. to expand something that he was coming up up against

  291. a whole bunch of opposition, and I got to hurry up,

  292. come on, let's do this, okay. So let's see ZERUBBYL

  293. was building and constructing the Second Temple after they destroyed

  294. the Temple of Solomon, after the Babylonians came, they leveled

  295. it out, and everything happened.

  296. Then Cyrus comes in, he freezes the Jews.

  297. Then Zerubbyl is now in play, Neamiah is now in play,

  298. Ezra's now in play, and they are going to start

  299. to rebuild the temple. But then say but then the

  300. naysayers show up, the complainers that live in the surrounding area,

  301. and they're like.

  302. You can't build that temple.

  303. Then the harassments show up. Oh, we're going to fight

  304. you over that. You guys got to stop building. And

  305. then the worst come out of all that group. The

  306. worst show up, say the lawyers. I'm sorry, if there's

  307. a lawyer in the building, they're redeemable to They're redeemable to. Hallylujah.

  308. We love our lawyers. They're the ones that are going

  309. to fight the fights that we need them to fight.

  310. Amen. Amen, Amen.

  311. After a while, they simply grew weary, and then they

  312. started to build their own homes. They started to build

  313. up their own lives, and then they forget to build

  314. the House of the Lord. For ten years, it's.

  315. Just just sitting.

  316. House of the Lord's just sitting. You know, we face

  317. obstacles here too. They faced obstacles. They had to cast

  318. out basically numbers of demons just to get this church

  319. Bill Pastor Dwayne and Joel and the people that were

  320. with him. So hallelujah, Amen. Giants had the fall just

  321. for this place. We face challenges now expanding it, just

  322. like Rubable did. He faced challenges trying to just get

  323. that foundation finished. But here's the word of the Lord.

  324. For now and for then, let's go to Zachariah four

  325. six through ten. So he answered and said to me,

  326. this is the word of the Lord, tis Rubabyle, not

  327. by might nor by power, but by my spirit, says

  328. the Lord of Hosts, who are you, o great mountain

  329. before zerubebyl you shall become a plain, and he shall

  330. bring forth the capstones with shouts of grace.

  331. Grace.

  332. Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

  333. the hands of Zerubabyl have laid the foundation of this temple.

  334. His hands shall also finish it. Then you will know

  335. that the Lord of Hosts has set me to you,

  336. for who has despised the day of small things. We

  337. have small beginnings, even for the size that we are.

  338. We have small beginnings. We have to look up and

  339. look further, and look bigger than this place. We have

  340. to broaden our vision. We can go further than Jericho

  341. and Ai. Yeah, for these seven rejoice to see the

  342. plumb line in the hand of Zerubabyl. They are the

  343. eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout

  344. the whole.

  345. What earth, Come.

  346. On, we are we are, We have set people out,

  347. we have we have been into other countries, into other

  348. cities in the United States. Here right, we're going into

  349. dark places and bringing light. But this is expansion season.

  350. I think this is the word of the Lord for

  351. this season, is that it's an expansion season. Amount of time.

  352. Mm hm hmmm. Let's let's shout grace to some things

  353. you ready, black ops to goals, difficulties, naysayers, opposition lawyers,

  354. the unknown, the enemy's lies, fear, grace, grace, hallelujah.

  355. Come on, let's stand up. Let's pray.

  356. Father, We thank you for today. We thank you for

  357. your word.

  358. God.

  359. Lord, I pray that everyone received this personal invitation God

  360. to shot, grace, to.

  361. The mountain that stands before them.

  362. God in the personal, in the family area, God in

  363. the finances area of God, in the area of business.

  364. Lord, in the area of ministry. God.

  365. I pray that there's new ministers, even being birth right.

  366. Now Lord, impart it to them. God, give them a

  367. new vision. Lord. Let their eyes see how far you

  368. can take them and how fear has no place in them,

  369. for your presence goes with them. Lord, a thank you.

  370. We bless your holy name. Lord in Jesus, might nay amen.
