  1. So when we do missions around here, we don't just

  2. do it inside in the big people room. We do

  3. it back in the back. So as you kids come up,

  4. these kids right here, they have all worked very hard

  5. to raise money for care Net so helping with crisis pregnancy,

  6. and they filled bottles. Come on all the way over,

  7. all the way over, They filled bottles up and they

  8. have brought in this morning just under five hundred dollars

  9. of money for the crisis pregnancy. Let's all of you

  10. step forward and put your bottles along the front edge

  11. of the stage. Okay, and then you guys can go

  12. back to your class. Hallelujah. Our kids are involved in missions.

  13. Go this way right there there you go, Oh they

  14. went halfway. Well, well, you know, the children just do

  15. what they want to do around here. So we've got

  16. bottles full of money and thought that money is going

  17. to be going straight to care Net and helping them

  18. continue with ultrasounds and all the things that they do.

  19. So our kids, we always want our kids to be thinking.

  20. They've been having stories back there about all the different missionaries.

  21. They've been talking about missions and what a missionary is

  22. and praying over them that someday maybe one of them

  23. would be a missionary. What do you think, moms and dads? Hallelujah?

  24. All right, I just want to take a moment right

  25. now and just thank you so much for being a

  26. missions church. Over the last twelve months, our mission well,

  27. our missions cycle runs from June to June, and over

  28. the last twelve months, you folks, you generous folks, have

  29. been giving, have given over ninety five thousand dollars for missions.

  30. We are so close to one hundred grand I think

  31. it's just I am so so so blessed to be

  32. able to just say that our church is a missions

  33. oriented church and we're going to continue that into this

  34. coming year. I just you know, if you came, I

  35. don't know why you came today. Maybe you came today

  36. because you knew it was International Sunday and it's the

  37. best Sunday of the year. But maybe you came because

  38. you wanted to get closer to God. And I've said

  39. this every Sunday through our series. Maybe you're sitting here

  40. because you want to be closer to God. And I

  41. would say once again, just know that the closer you

  42. get to God's heart, You're going to start hear it

  43. beating and as you hear it beating, it's going to

  44. be beating for souls and for the nation and for

  45. the lost. So as you get yourself closer to God,

  46. you are going to start hearing this now, I said

  47. a couple of weeks ago, And I always need to

  48. have a good science fun fact for each of you,

  49. because I am just kind of a nerd that way.

  50. But if you were to take a little cell from

  51. your heart, a cardiac cell, and if you were to

  52. put it in a Petri dish and it would live

  53. for a little while, you would see if you look

  54. through a microscope that it would be beating in its

  55. own intrinsic beat. Every one of your heart cells has

  56. its own intrinsic beat. And then if you were to

  57. take a heart sell from somebody else and put it

  58. in the same Petri dish, they would have two very

  59. different beats. But the closer that you get them together,

  60. then they sink up and they start beating together. And

  61. I would say to you New Horizon that the closer

  62. you get to the beating heart of Jesus Christ, the

  63. closer you're gonna get to him, the more you are

  64. gonna be drawn to his heart. And you are gonna

  65. sink up and we will beat with the same heart

  66. as our heavenly Father. Amen. And that is our goal.

  67. That is what Missions Month is about. It's about bringing

  68. the heart of the Father to you so that you

  69. would know this, so that you would understand. Now, humans

  70. have a great need for governmental institutions. I don't know why.

  71. It's just kind of how God made us, and when

  72. we come to when we're people, and we come together

  73. as families, and then families coalesce together as tribes, and

  74. then tribes coalesce together as nations, and then you get

  75. this governmental sort of grouping of different groups of people

  76. in different areas around the world, and those groups of

  77. people become what's known as nations. And nations are mentioned

  78. in the Bible, believe it or not, just under five

  79. hundred times the word nation or nations. Nations and nations

  80. are in God's plan. God's plan is for the nations.

  81. God has an ultimate plan for the nations. They aren't

  82. just something that's there. They are spoken of constantly in

  83. the Bible, and they need to be close in our

  84. own hearts. The nations show the creator activity of God

  85. and what you're gonna find when you walk around this room,

  86. You're gonna find different foods. You're gonna find different colors

  87. of skin, You're gonna find different languages, different color of eyes,

  88. different hair, You're gonna find different ways of doing things,

  89. different cultures. You're gonna find different Why didn't God just

  90. make cookie cutter human beings just like this and then

  91. make us all love him and then at the end

  92. of all of it, we would just all be fine

  93. and go to heaven. That's not how He's done it,

  94. not at all. Instead, He's made every single one of

  95. us ever so different. Every nation is so different and

  96. so unique and so fun and so incredible, and we

  97. all have this opportunity to come to him. It's God's

  98. heart that we would come to him, because he absolutely

  99. loves us. I'm gonna open up my Bible to Acts

  100. chapter seventeen, and they're gonna put this up on the

  101. on the screens, and I'm going to do this in

  102. the NIV. Make sure I get it right. Acts chapter seventeen.

  103. This is Paul talking to a bunch of people in Athens.

  104. He was a missionary himself. Everybody say, amenda that from

  105. one man he made all the nations that they should

  106. inhabit the whole earth, and he marked out for their

  107. appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.

  108. God put nations in specific times in history. There have

  109. been nations that no longer exist, but those nations were

  110. so important to build the next nation and then to

  111. bring forth new things into the world and into onto

  112. the earth. Nations have had their appropriate times. The United

  113. States has its appointed time in history. Every nation around

  114. here has its appointed time, and what is supposed to

  115. happen during its appointed time the next verse. God did

  116. this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach

  117. out for him and find him, though he is not

  118. far from any one of us, for in Him we

  119. live and we move, and we have our being. I

  120. would say to you, people of God, that any group

  121. of people that does not find themselves in Christ is

  122. not in their best life. I don't know about you,

  123. but sometimes when I'm following Jesus real close, and my

  124. heart is beating just like him, and I'm listening to him,

  125. and I'm doing what he says to do, and i

  126. am obeying his ways and his direction in life, you

  127. know things, I'm kind of my best self at that point.

  128. I love better. I listen better. I'm more peaceful, I

  129. live a better life. But when I'm separated from him,

  130. I am not my best self. How many of you

  131. have ever not been your best self? Y'all know? Oh boy,

  132. how's Frankie been these days? That's what I want to know, Angie,

  133. just kidding. We all know what it means to not

  134. be our best selves, but we know that when we

  135. find Him, we do become our best selves. And God

  136. is calling the nations out of their brokenness, out of

  137. their fear and their folly, and their foolishness, and their

  138. their poverty and their brokenness, and calling the nations to Him.

  139. And when the nations come to Him, he changes them

  140. into their best way of being. Open up Isaiah, let's

  141. go to Isaiah. And I want you to go to

  142. Isaiah too. I was laughing with first service. You know,

  143. we used to say open up your Bibles, and you'd

  144. hear all these papers swishing back and forth, and people

  145. would be licking their finger and going like this and

  146. finding the table. Now it's not so much. So just

  147. turn on your Bible, push the app and go to Isaiah.

  148. And we're gonna do this one in the Passion translation.

  149. Look at that bada bing. I got a whole nother

  150. Bible up here in this little tiny box. How many

  151. Bibles do I have in here? Different translations. I'm amazed

  152. at it. I don't know if you are. Okay, So

  153. Isaiah chapter two, this is some of God's promises. What

  154. I'm going to read to you for the nations. This

  155. is God's plan. This is where we're And I wanted

  156. to build faith in your soul because sometimes we look

  157. around the world and we just are thinking everything's going

  158. to hell, and I am basket. Anybody ever wonder about

  159. that in your own little heart and mind. Well, God's

  160. got a better plan. He's got the best plan. Let's listen, okay.

  161. In the last days, the mountain of Yahweh's temple will

  162. be raised up as the head of the mountains, towering

  163. over all the hills. A sparkling stream of every nation

  164. will flow into it. Many peoples will come and say, everyone, come,

  165. let's go up higher to Yahweh's mountain, to the house

  166. of Jacob's God. Then he can teach us his ways

  167. and we can walk in his paths. Zion will be

  168. the center of instruction, and the word of Yahweh will

  169. go out from Jerusalem. He will judge fairly between the

  170. nations and settle disputes among many peoples. They will beat

  171. their swords they used against each other into plowshares, and

  172. their spears into pruning hooks. No nation will take up

  173. weapons against another, nor will they prepare for war no more, Oh,

  174. House of Jacob, Come let us walk in the wonderful

  175. light of Yahweh.

  176. Oh.

  177. Doesn't that just move you with hope for the nations?

  178. That song we sang? He gives us hope for the nations,

  179. for the peoples of the world. I want to take

  180. just a moment and kind of go through them, just

  181. to these verses in the last days the mountain of Yahweh.

  182. Mountains quite often refer to kingdoms or governments. So God

  183. is saying, out of all the governments, he is making

  184. his government his mountain, and to rise above all the others. Now,

  185. remember two thousand years ago Christianity started with is one man.

  186. Now we have two point eight billion of us walking

  187. the face of the earth. I think the mountain of

  188. the Lord has grown just a little bit, wouldn't you say?

  189. Christianity is growing in Iran and in China at the

  190. fastest rate ever seen before. Those two nations are By

  191. two thousand and twenty, they will be considered Christian nations.

  192. There are more Christians in China right now than the

  193. Communist Party has on their roles. Come on, people, the

  194. mountain of the Lord is increasing and increasing. This is

  195. not a time to be downcast, Oh my soul, Now

  196. is the time to look up. Now is the time

  197. to see the word of the Lord coming to pass.

  198. It will be raised up as the head of the mountains,

  199. towering over all the hills. A sparkling stream of every

  200. nation will flow into it. Isn't that an interesting way

  201. to put it? Doctor Brian Simmons interpreted the Hebrew of

  202. that verse, saying, a sparkling stream of nations will flow

  203. into it. The word river in the Hebrew can also

  204. be interpreted streams, cheerful, sparkling, all sorts of just beautiful, happy,

  205. radiant words. And if you're going to flow into the

  206. highest mountain, wait a minute, that's going to require it

  207. to flow up. That's not natural. The natural flow of

  208. nations is to flow to its lowest common denominator, to

  209. flow down into the depths of things and get lower

  210. and lower and lower. But this verse here tells us

  211. that there will be a sparkling stream of nations flowing

  212. up into the House of God, up into this mighty

  213. mountain of God. What he says is that this is

  214. a supernatural magnetism bringing the nations into the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah,

  215. because it's what he's doing. He is there's a flow

  216. up against the natural, you know, the grain of things.

  217. This is a reversal. Do you remember in the Book

  218. of Genesis with the Tower of Babel, those people were

  219. gathered together and they were disobeying God. And God came

  220. down and he divided them into nations, and he divided

  221. them into languages, and he said, go, you to go.

  222. But this time when they were dispersed, they were dispersed

  223. individually and broken up into pieces and disunified. But in

  224. this verse, it's telling me there's gonna be a reversal

  225. of that dispersion, and the nations are gonna stream together,

  226. begin to gather together in a sparkling, radiant flow. This

  227. is God's plan. Many peoples will come and say, everyone come,

  228. let's go up higher to Yahwei's mountain. Everyone come. This

  229. is what missionaries do. Missionaries gather people. They're out there

  230. calling in the highways and the byways. Come with us.

  231. Would you come with us to the higher mountain. It's

  232. better there. You will be your better self when you

  233. come there, Oh, people of God, even today I would

  234. save and to you. Come with me to the mountain

  235. of the Lord. Come with me, you will be your

  236. better self. We are on. We are all gathering together,

  237. letting go of the things in us that are not

  238. the best. And we're joining with that sparkling stream. Oh America,

  239. Oh America. I say, come to the mountain of Yahweh.

  240. Come to the mountain of Yahweh. El Salvador, Come to

  241. the mountain of Yahweh, all of the nations. You will

  242. be your best self. As you do, many people will say, come, everyone, come,

  243. let's go up higher. And then he can teach us

  244. his ways and we can walk in his has. This

  245. is the discipling of the nations that we are called

  246. to do. All wisdom, all knowledge, all righteousness is in

  247. the mountain of Yahweh. And as the nations come, they

  248. will be schooled in good things. They will be schooled

  249. in righteousness, they will be schooled in how to handle things.

  250. They will learn how to walk in the paths of God.

  251. Amen makes my heart so excited. Zion will be the

  252. center of instruction, and the word of Yahweh will go

  253. out from Jerusalem. He will judge fairly between the nations

  254. and settle disputes among the peoples. We've watched over the

  255. last couple of weeks a man brokering peace, and for that,

  256. I am very grateful. We find ourselves in so many wars,

  257. and so many people are dying, and so much bloodshed,

  258. and so much violence, and so much breaking of families

  259. and destruction, and oh, it grieves my heart. Between the

  260. nations and so a man is attempting to broke her peace,

  261. and I'm very grateful for it. But I keep thinking

  262. in the back of my head, one wrong room and

  263. you know, one wrong move, and it won't work. I mean,

  264. how many times have we try to get Zelensky and

  265. Putin to come together and then somebody does something dumb.

  266. That's what happens when men broke her peace. And I

  267. love it when they do. Your heart yearns for when

  268. God brokers the peace, because then peace will be brokered

  269. by love itself. Peace will be brokered by peace itself.

  270. And it will come from God above. And there will

  271. be a time when our nations no longer rage against God.

  272. These are the promises of God. And no more war,

  273. no more war. We don't have spears, we don't have swords.

  274. We got ak forty sevens, we got tanks. God's promising

  275. us that there will be a day where those things

  276. will be melted down into things that are used for harvest, plowshares,

  277. pruning hooks. There is a day, people of God. That

  278. day will come when the mountain of the Lord becomes

  279. the highest mountain. We as the Church stand in the gap.

  280. We as a church stand between God's promises and the

  281. world we find ourselves in. We as the people of God,

  282. stand in this incredible spot. And it is our faith

  283. and is our prayers, and it is our strength. Through God.

  284. He has asked that we would be the ones that

  285. would stand in the gap and pull the two together.

  286. Oh people of God, pray for the nations. My heart

  287. yearns for these promises. I would love all the people

  288. that came today, the host table hosts, would you come

  289. and line up right across. We're gonna do a little

  290. different than we did for service. Go ahead and line

  291. up all the way across. I don't care what order

  292. you're in. Just come on up here. Lineup, we're gonna

  293. do some praying. We got the band up here yet,

  294. Oh the band. Here we go, you, my people of God,

  295. we are gonna stand in the gap between God's promises

  296. and what we have happening even now. So we've got

  297. quite a few nations. Come on up here, Come on

  298. up here, find your partners if you're doing them together

  299. with somebody. And we got the band coming on up.

  300. We're gonna sing a little bit. We're gonna have music

  301. in the back of us. And you thought you came

  302. to church just to sit back and watch. No, no, no, no,

  303. You're a part of this here today. Will you pray

  304. with me? Will you pray with me? This morning, when

  305. we were singing a Hope's anthem, I started seeing peoples

  306. of other nations, other ethnicities, broken and in the dirt.

  307. They were literally sitting in the dirt cry with no hope.

  308. And I could see that as we were singing that song,

  309. as we were praying, as we were declaring things, God

  310. was ripping the heavens apart and things. They began to

  311. look up and they began to see Hope, and I

  312. would say, even now, you know, we're sitting here in Fife,

  313. little old Fife. Let's get some kingdom work done here

  314. in Fife. Let's do this. So we're gonna pray over

  315. these nations. Will you pray with me? I am gonna

  316. give them an opportunity to speak in their own language,

  317. declaration over their country. So some of them are gonna

  318. speak in other languages. They're getting all arranged all on

  319. their own here. Oh boy, howdy, do you're good? We'll

  320. make it work. What was I saying? We're gonna declare,

  321. We're gonna sing, will you will you lend your faith

  322. to mine? So are you ready? We're gonna start down here.

  323. We got Samoa and uh, this wonderful family. They're gonna

  324. be right over here. They got some really yummy sweet stuff.

  325. So the band's gonna start playing. We're gonna start playing

  326. Hope's anthem back there, nice and strong, and we're gonna

  327. bring some energy to this. And you're gonna pray. Now.

  328. She prayed in Samoan, and she tried to tell us

  329. she was no good at it, but you know what

  330. I couldn't tell. So, girlfriend, you just go. I thought

  331. you sounded pretty good. So maybe she was saying all

  332. sorts of things. I don't know. So are you ready

  333. let's lift up Samoa. Are you ready to pray for

  334. the islands? Okay, so this is Samoa. Here we go.

  335. Tama if butyava o ya eloa oho the the Father God.

  336. We just thank you for your grace, your goodness, your

  337. love through all the nations, Lord God, not to Samuel.

  338. Lord.

  339. I pray for my country, Lord God, that you will

  340. be their God, that the veil from their eyes will

  341. be removed, and they will know you as their true God.

  342. That they will know Jesus of the Bible, not of religion,

  343. and that they will break from generational curses of religion,

  344. of poverty, of fear, of sagnation, of sicknesses and disease,

  345. Lord God, that they will come to obedience and know you.

  346. Father God.

  347. You say that in your word to ask you to

  348. send to send workers to the harvest, Father God. So

  349. we just ask that you pick people from our country,

  350. Lord God, that will bring you honor and glory in

  351. every country, Father God. And we just ask that you

  352. send them in other countries. Let their obedience begin a

  353. domino effect in other countries as well, Lord God, that

  354. our love for you, Father God will bring unity in

  355. other countries along with ours. Father God, that we will

  356. find you as common brown, that you will be glorified

  357. in everything we do. Lour God in Jesus

  358. Name, Amen, Amen,
